801  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Different between Binance and Binance Dex. on: September 09, 2019, 07:39:29 AM
What is the different between Binance and Binance Dex..? Is Binance Dex an exchange platform like Binance or a lunchpad...?

Binance is a centralized exchange where all our funds and wallets are managed on a platform while Binance DEX is a decentralized exchange where we can manage and hold our personal wallet. But I do not know more clearly about this DEX Binance because I have not tried it at all, it was just completed a few months ago, maybe like other decentralization exchanges like forkdelta or idex.

What are those pair actually means - PYN-C37/BNB, EVT-49B/BNB, CRPT/BNB, AXPR-777/BNB, BZNT/BNB, UND-EBC/USDSB-1AC.

For the purpose of the pair in exchange is to measure the price of a coin against other coins. For example, pair USD/GBP where 1usd = 1.3GBP so the pair is to determine the price of the dollar against the pound sterling.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fairlay withholding my BTC for currently no real explanation on: September 09, 2019, 02:41:20 AM
It seems that this thread has become attention of many people which raises a variety of pros and cons. I myself have not found a clear reason why site acts like that and where did @degen1 get money. I think this is one of fairlay efforts to eradicate money laundering, I am sure third party intended by @degen1 has informed them that the address owned by @degen1 is suspicious and is involved in a crime case. Well, I think fairlay only want to do their best and avoid money laundering. The following is clarification from their support team, so there is no longer any reason that fairlay is suspending @degen1 money because they have returned it now.

We'd like to publish the following update on the degen1 case for anyone interested:

Decision has be made to return the roughly 100K USD deposit  of degen1 to the address it was sent from. Degen1 could not rebut our presumption that the funds are of questionable origin.  We therefore decided to reject his deposit and close his account permanently. Degen1 is not allowed to use our site again. The address his deposit is returned to belongs to an exchange.

All involved parties have been notified that the transaction will be released to the Bitcoin network on September 20th giving everyone time to make necessary preparations.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: @@@@ ALTS > BTC Change my mind!! @@@@ on: September 08, 2019, 10:23:53 PM
Bitcoin is a pioneer of other crypto including alts, so it is not possible for bitcoin to die faster than alts. Every coin has a lifespan, I have gone through a few years with crypto and have seen many dead alts that previously successful. Bitcoin will die when alts have all died. Well that's why Bitcoin is better than Alts, if you bought Alts in 2012 maybe now it has become dust, different from bitcoin, maybe now you have become a millionaire.
804  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 78% ROI throughout 2019 -- This is how... on: September 08, 2019, 09:16:05 AM
But if you are an aggressive investor, the market is wide for you you can profit in the short term by following and trading coins in the market, I'm not into short term trading but some of my friends make a living out of it, but it needs time and good insight to pick the right coin to trade.

That's right, if trading in  short term requires better insight and time, we can't rely on a platform like as intended @OP means because it's just a logical calculation like mathematics. So what is explained by @OP I think it is only intended for those who want to hold a long term, judging from 2 pictures above shared by @OP that to get ROI requires quite a long time.
805  Economy / Economics / Re: A Cryptocurrency-related Business (Pitch) on: September 08, 2019, 06:00:19 AM
A warehouse location with a few Bitcoin ATM's, and dozens of desk-like booths with computer desktops with online games that are connected to crypto-currency.  Smoking is permitted at the desks.  Energy drinks and vape products can also be purchased and consumed at the game desks.  The game desks will be rented by the hour by paying with Bitcoin but the clients will be given cards that they can use to essentially run tabs as they hang out and buy stuff.  The tab is so they do not have to worry about paying until they want to leave.  Services will be made somewhat affordable for younger people but it is also a place they know they will blow all their money but enjoy doing it.

Sounds like an internet cafe, with Bitcoin ATMs and vape sales thrown in. You'll need to bank a lot of profits off the ATMs (and you may need to get a money transmitter license and register with FINCEN with those) and merchandise because internet cafes just aren't profitable anymore due to high rents. NYC and the SF Bay Area are both getting extremely expensive.

Also, I'm pretty sure smoking/vaping bans will make that part of the plan problematic.

Well it's true this is clearly an internet cafe or game center that is equipped with a Bitcoin ATM and vape shop. And it is also true that internet cafe are not profitable these days, not because of expensive rental fees, but all have been replaced by smartphones, smartphones make everything more efficient than a PC.

If I suggest, it's better to turn the business into a cafe, because the cafe's share is getting bigger in the future, moreover the services provided @OP are very interesting and innovative. Honestly, many internet cafe in my area have gone bankrupt, this proves that the market share is starting to be low.

well , could be admin who got real life problems and cannot get online or a hundred different reasons, really
but yeah , gambling sites make a lot of effort to get the gamblers on board and the returning gamblers are the ones who bring money
besides there are monthly and weekly wagering contests and players with the balances and pending withdrawals ( most likely ) who are having  "what the hell " moments
things like this do not help with the image , hope they fix it and let us know what happened
and , of course , continue operations

If admin has problems in real world, site should still be running, and this gambling site is not a small site that can be developed by one person, of course they have several employees. Without any clear news or responsibility from admin, I began to suspect this site, well even though this site has been running for years, did not close possibility that they took away customer money. But I do not want to assume negative is too far, I will wait for a month, but if there is still no news, well maybe my statement above is true.
807  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: September 08, 2019, 02:48:59 AM

We are happy to announce that our Affiliate program is already live! If any of the Bitcointalk members are willing to promote us we are very grateful about that and are ready to help you with whatever you need help with!

I believe this is more of a self paid promotion anyway, you are getting customers and you are not paying a single thing for it upfront. Affiliate is far better than signature if you are looking for just efficient and optimized profitability. What casinos do when they get a signature campaign is actually just getting their name out there, its not about getting new customers only, of course that is a big part of it but they want to be known and get a community behind their casino.

However, wolf.bet is already known and liked by many people and even the people who do not play here knows about here. So now that the name is out there, the best case would be affiliate, that way people could invite others and casino can have more gamblers and they would only share a part of their profit instead of paying money without expecting anything.

Wolf.bet is known and liked by many people? how do you think like that? even wolf.bet is still classified as a gambling site that just released a few months. Maybe wolf.bet has been known because they previously had a signature campaign and have announced here, but to be known is not enough, they have to defend their name here, if they have a signature campaign it means members here trust wolf.bet that they are still alive and trusted.

As an example of signature campaign that you use, isn't LiveCoin much older than wolf.bet?Isn't livecoin famous for case yesterday, then why do you still use livecoin signature? Isn't there already a livecoin affilate program that you think is far better than a signature.
808  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: It is time to change the crypto space once and for all! on: September 07, 2019, 09:25:15 PM
Do you have a whitepaper or proposal that we can read about your discourse? I'm still confused about what is TokenTuber, is this a new token or a new service? what are the goals and benefits provided? You talk about education on TokenTuber, meaning this will become an educational platform, right?

It seems you are pretty much advertising  something here, Well I guess you should post a link on what it is, but if you are talking about the complicated things people go in taking knowledge about Bitcoin I really think that people would figure out just fine how Cryptocurrency works, Well the first time I encounter Bitcoin and cryptocurrency I am in a total blank in what I need to do, but eventually with the help of some friends and this forum site that lend me a hand in research and learning the basics of what to do, I guess there is no need for this, Self-learning is just fine in my opinion.

Actually we should not judge new things like this badly, if platform that will be established by @OP is good enough and interesting I think why not to support it. Not all newbie here have a close friend who knows bitcoin or wants to teach them, so we need a place for these newbie to learn. I myself will support it if it is interesting compared to other platforms, I will wait for further @OP clarity.
809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone here that has referrals on any exchange? on: September 07, 2019, 12:06:10 PM
Im trying to bring some referrals under my on 3 exchanges at the moment, is anyone doing this? did you made any $$?

I only considering doing this depends on what type of benefits or rewards should I get.

For example, here in our local exchange, we can earn up to $1.45 per successful referrals who will sign-up and undergo KYC. And the fact that our local exchange is increasing popularity here, that is an advantage.

And take note that earning commissions from referrals do have terms. It's not as simple as your referrals will sign-up under you then that's it.

Yeah right, to be an affiliate in a platform does sometimes require a variety of requirements, most of referrals are required to register and trade to extent to get a commission. And in my opinion this is indeed quite difficult, maybe it is easy if we already have a customer base such as through YouTube education channels, telegram channels, Facebook groups, blogs. But if we don't have it, it will be very difficult because there is no media for promotion except spamming.

yes it is exactly the same with me too. so it looks like a general problem! i already sent several details by mail to support yesterday. i'll let you know if there's a solution or new findings here Smiley

We're looking into the issue, thanks for reporting! It seems fine for most users though

Thank you, now registration form can be used, I myself use chrome (windows) no significant problems and everything is smooth. Likewise with chrome (iphone) everything has been smooth, maybe for now it's still a little less in terms of website speed, feels slow on my iphone.
811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Replace Gold! Here's Why... on: September 07, 2019, 04:52:05 AM
It is not possible, gold is very different from bitcoin, gold is not same as fiat, it might be equivalent but it is not same so gold, fiat and bitcoin cannot be categorized together and replaced with each other. Gold has had a value of hundreds of years and it cannot be replaced by anything, more technology develops, gold will still be there because its needs increase with technology. They will coexist, maybe it will be replaced but it is still very long and it takes thousands or tens of thousands of years to replace this existing system.

812  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sell BTC to Dollars with and without limits in Bittrex on: September 07, 2019, 03:08:07 AM
1) you want to sell your BTC at a higher price because obviously you are talking of price over the current price. If your target is $13,000 then have a sell order at $13K and wait until it will be successfully filled

Well, more or less so and I think it's impossible because @OP wants to sell it at  price it wants right now even though price hasn't reached what it wanted. So to sell BTC without limits I think it is very unlikely because no one wants to buy at a high price, if there really is I think that is very stupid.
813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Trends went crazy for the Btc search on: September 06, 2019, 06:37:50 PM
Huh. Quite weird that the spike up in search volume is for "btc" search query and NOT "bitcoin". I know that search volume for "bitcoin" is always going to be a lot higher than "btc" hence the "btc" search query is a lot more sensitive in terms of search volume movements hence the huge spike, but I was expecting at least a small blip higher than the average on the "bitcoin" search query. It was pretty much almost flat.

That's right, "bitcoin" search query posted here isn't "btc" search request because btc is still universal, word btc doesn't always refer to bitcoin. In fact I searched for word btc in a google search and I only found bitcoin article on top few pages, but after that there were several websites such as company profile, place names, etc. So word btc is still too universal, @OP should provide more specific pictures and explanations.

814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bad time to get into daytrading? on: September 06, 2019, 03:44:08 PM
I think you just need some more practice, maybe you have been able to determine resistance and support lines, but you may not be able to explain why you provide resistance and support lines. Basically it might be because of looking at chart in past but actually there are many factors why resistance or support is formed, and sometimes break. Well, I think you should learn about it, about technicalities and especially fundamentals.

What you're doing for that long? Cause I supposed to think that you learn a lot, besides, 1year is enough to tell how crypto it is and how it affects our life being a trader.

No, a year is still not enough in my opinion. Although trading daily, each trade will take up to 2 weeks. And experience that plays an active role here, in a year I think experience is still very limited because those who are trading for 5 years still sometimes fail and some don't understand. Learning cycle is analysis-Op-Tp/SL-analysis not analysis-Op-Tp/SL, basically always learning to analyze from previous trades.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: Indian Economy rising at slowest pace - Should they consider Crypto-currency? on: September 06, 2019, 06:30:21 AM
If the government really concern with their people, they can accept cryptocurrency and allow them to search for a new source income. I am sure that people in India will thank you to the government because they can try to get the money from the new source and the best is they can get a better life with that money. If people can get a better life, that will reduce poverty in that country, and the economy in that country will be growth.

Maybe that is true, but what government sees is rule, if government is interested in cryptocurrency, government will lose control of their financial system, especially when there are more crypto requests. I myself agree that if crypto is on our side with all its freedom and I myself have benefited greatly from crypto, crypto makes economic equality throughout world and they are often connected, not only nationally but internationally. Yeah, but we can't force what we want because we are under government, it all depends on policies of each government and we are forced to accept it.
816  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: September 06, 2019, 04:19:51 AM
I am thinking that it's a paid advertisement because that article was posted in several online news outlet and blogs as well. You will also see links on where you can find MintDice from Facebook link to Twitter link and Telegram. Nevertheless, its still a publicity for MintDice and helps them create noise outside this forum. Congrats to MintDice!

haha yeah, this is also proof that mintdice is a gambling site that is ready to compete with other gambling sites. If we see that developers are doing publicity everywhere to push the site, so I conclude that CEO is really good at managing this site. Maybe this site is still young, but I'm sure there will be more developments going forward, whether in terms of features, UI or UX.
817  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: questions about technical analysis on: September 06, 2019, 01:26:06 AM
For myself, I use technical analysis all time, even though it's not entirely accurate and precise, but at least I don't trade carelessly. When a news comes, maybe for some people believe that technical analysis is not useful but it is not true, technical analysis helps confirm and estimate how much impact news that comes.

Technical analysis does not work all the time, in fact you could show a chart to two different people and one of them will be bullish and the other will be bearish, the reason for this contradiction is that different traders will use different indicators and you can get contradictory signals and it is up to the trader to interpret those signals, now when you should not use technical analysis? And the answers is when the volume of the asset that you are trying to trade is too low, the reason behind this is that with a low volume a person holding a few coins could crash the market and it will be impossible to predict this based on what you see on the charts.

It functions, dude. You describe 2 traders who have different technical analyzes, one of which is true analysis, means analysis is still functioning right? It's just because differences in abilities two traders that there is a wrong analysis, because every trader can not claim to have equivalent ability of other traders.

818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it safe to exchange big amounts? on: September 06, 2019, 12:19:20 AM
Hey.
Is it safe to exchange big amounts on non-custodial exchangers like changelly or shapeshift, or are they designed for small transactions?
I'm a newbie and I want to know if it's safe. Also, I want to know if it's safe to exchange crypto on classical exchanges like binance.

I don't know how big of a big amount you mean, if it's really big then I don't recommend using an exchange like Changelly because customer service there is still less than an exchange like binance, so it would be risky if you have a problem with your big amount.

It is better to choose your last exchange option, which is binance, binance already has good enough trust here and customer service is undoubted.
819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Read Crypto Charts on: September 05, 2019, 08:26:31 AM
It's really easy-to-understand guides and makes it easier for newcomers to find inspiration and feel the job.
I used to be a very pessimistic person about my trading ability as well as my investment. But after reading the article, it seems that I thought about becoming a professional trader in the future. Thank you so much, dude. Wink
It is the professionals that has advantage over others in this market and it is unwise to start trading without spending quality time to learn and understand how technical indicators works. Many people that still understand technical indicators still lose because of lack of patience and greediness and we are to understand that what matter most in trading is our emotions.

right dude, understanding is not necessarily experienced like many people, they actually already understand about trading but they have not experienced in managing it. Pro traders can not only be understanding but they also have a lot experience in trading. The experience I mean is covering technical and fundamental experience.
820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 05, 2019, 06:05:32 AM
I was forced to sell those cryptocurrencies at a significantly lower price and accepted my loss which led me to believe that hodling is indeed a form of gambling and thus has a risk / reward factors associated with it.

"Hodling is a form gambling?" I don't think so, but it depends on how you manage your trade, how you hold a coin. If you hold and then greedy, then it can be called gambling, holding also requires TP and SL, only with targets far high from daily trading.

well, but I'm quite impressed with you because you don't feel least bit sorry for your greed. That is exemplary, because we should be, making decisions and accepting all risk.
