I trade this coin all the time on cryptopia its a great coin.I have a ton of them.I had over 2 million and they stake very nicely I can sell 2 or 3 hundred thousand with out effecting the price but for some odd reason awhile back the chain got stuck or something I dont know then started working again then I had 1 million pretty weird.I have had the 1.6.0.2 wallet since it was released.I have had the wallet turned off for a few days and just now started it finding I only have just over 165000 and is resyncing from the beginning I show all the transactions but there all greyed out but I know That may rectify itself as soon as the sync is finished. It started all over from the start and I really dont know why.By the way does anybody know whats up with that TWO coin wasnt that the same developer as this one?I cant find anything about it and I dont remember.its been dead for quite sometime but is now syncing up all of a sudden and staking like crazy every 32 seconds thousands of coins lol 57 million and going like a rocket. ive never seen anything like it wow holy smokes Lol as I was writing this it died again like it always seems to do I fire it up it goes boom and then goes to sleep again haha nope, i wasnt involved with TWO. sent you a pm about your issue. Thats the date of the next halving guys. I asked someone to do a security scan on 1337's source and i needed to patch a few things. most likely this will cause a hard fork so i wont be able to release the wallet before that date. I'll contact the exchanges and services to inform them about this. Most likely the wallets on the exchanges will be in maintenance over the weekend.

is w00t a swap or a new coin? usually a swap replaces the coin that was swapped for it with markets for 1337 then being replaced with markets for w00t I realize that its a whole new chain and therefore keeping 1337 alive is possible but why? let me add more to the confusion by calling it an ICO? One that only accepts 1337 as form of payment but instead of pocketing those funds they get burned. there are 2 main reasons why i got myself into this prolonged headache (besides the obvious one, continuation of the projects) : 1. Reducing the current actual amount of 1337 out there (especially the huge sell walls on some of the exchanges which prevented the price from moving) 2. to re-bundle the remaining value into a new coin with less inflation and a much lower supply. You're missing a key element in your assessment. The major reason for the resistance of an upward move is because on Cryptopia, you don't have a bitcoin based pair. So what happens is that you have a path of least resistance for exit points and this is what causes the imbalance between the exchanges and the sub satoshi price as a consequence. true to some extend but what about the other exchanges? i see way less coins sitting at 1 sat on yobit for example so from my pov thats an improvement and less of a roadblock. theyre on the wrong chain but that problem will be behind us too at some point. its prolly not the smartest thing to sell your 1337 so cheap on topia but i cant blame the ppl that do. especially ppl who got in early have roi-ed already and can afford to sell their coins/stakes at any price. im sure youre aware of that too and its actually becoming less of a problem because of the lowered apr. just a few more halvings to go till we face another problem You also have to factor time value into the equation. Whenever I trade, time is more valuable than sitting at a particular price and waiting to maybe if it ever gets executed. I will always choose a faster turnover vs sitting there and waiting for something that may or may not hit. The longer it is, it then becomes a diminishing value as risks increases over time. There's bit more more to it as well, but to keep it simple, that is pretty much the gist of it. well how you trade is not really of my business but thanks for buying my sprouts from me at 400-600 sats. was fun watching you play with my 'churn' bot. i think you also bought a fair share of my hyp at 300-500 sats. oh and net at 100 sats... good ol' times ey. keep churnin' churner

WOW! In the last 24 hours we have seen the price rise to over 140% and almost reaching that 1 sats mark again. It would of been nice to see it break back into the 1 sats range. It might be because of the news that Velvet78 is working on the new coin for the swap so people are buying cheap 1337 coins ready for the swap. Can't wait for the new coin to be released!
i still wonder what will be more profitable, to keep on staking 1337, or to swap all the coins for w00t. I was thinking the same thing, so I think I'll see how well the new coin dose before I decide to swap my current 1337 coins for w00t. If all looks good then I may well swap a certain percentage of my 1337 coins for w00t as I still like to hold some 1337 coins. Time will tell which would be more profitable. good questions. while i dont have an answer to them there are a few things to consider: - 1337 is already on several exchanges. w00t is going to have a fresh start and i cant guarantee it will be listed anywhere (yet) - 1337 is halving the apr every 3 months till we reach 13.37% a year. w00t has a fixed apr of 133.7% (so might be more interesting for stakers) - the swap period will be 2 months, the more 1337 gets swapped for w00t, the lower the actual supply of 1337 will become which would hopefully lead to more room for the price to improve. on the other hand, if not alot of 1337 gets swapped, w00t will have a very low supply too... all remaining w00t will be burned after the 2 months and the 1337 thats being swapped will be burned too. exciting times ahead of us when a swap will start?
as soon as im finished. still got some work to do and need to look into some stuff that someone pointed me towards.

@Velvet. If you get the "Repairwallet" to work so that it'd get rid of the orphan, it would definitely help to optimize the wallet so it would run better.
its in the new coin ive been working on (w00t) for the swap. sorry guys, i messed up my build environment so i'll need to install and compile everything again. took a lil break today but ill get back to work tomorrow.

any exchange another yobit exchange?
Yes there is and I highly recommend Cryptopia if you want to buy and sell 1337 coins as it is a trusted exchange and also you can trade in LTC, Doge, XMR and a few other crypto coins. I used to use Yobit a lot but not any more as you never know what you'll get with that exchange, I got sick and tired of the wallets always being in maintenance and that is why I changed over to Cryptopia for 1337 coin. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Please can you ask yobit to release my coin as I wanted to send it to poswallet for staking for about 5 days now I cannot im not sure on which chain they are but it doesnt look like the right one... "Wallet status: Online (607508 blocks)" and my wallet shows 680483 blocks... i dont think your coins are lost though. once yobit is back on the right blockchain they should appear in your balance again. i'll post an update later.

"Woot" is the name of the new coin? lol no, i was just happy to see you again... w00t w00t I criticize you unjustly. I'm sorry. I really want to have your new project has been successful no need to be sorry. i understand that 1337 investors who got in late are probably a bit frustrated because the price is getting lower and lower. i hope things will be better for everyone soon.

... Aw I like the graph Tbh. Stop teasing us and give us a date for w00t hey there I'd love to but still needs some finishing up to do and i need to run a few tests and monitor the network etc etc. ive been working on 1337 and w00t continuously since i got back. i might need to take a lil break after the release cause im exhausted gives us something to look forward too we can wait, go somewhere warm and enjoy some of natures finest They failed, man. They were busy polishing the code and forgot to turn off the gas in the kitchen. Someone lit a matcha and lighted a cigarette with it, causing the kitchen to blow up and everyone else in the room to die in an explosion. If I was in ur shoes I would drop my shares and move on instantly. Who would follow a coin whose team burned alive? what are you talking about? who are 'they'? shares?

Nope blockchain bloat is an incurable disease and will progress till the end of coin's lifespan.
Wasn't talking about blockchain. Was referring to graph. it may please you to hear that there wont be a graph in w00t. well not in the first release anyway... i might add it later and yes ladies and gentlemen, the time of the release is near! its based on another source code and it will hopefully be more stable compared to 1337's source code because it uses a more recent version of PPC, the mother of all POS coins. keep an eye on this thread in the next week p.s: it wont look as good as the 1337 wallet though but we can always improve things later. its my first (and hopefully last) coin to be released and it took me many frustrating hours and the help of several friends to get to this point so dont be too hard on me ok thank you all for being so patient. This is good to see a dev wanting to help people get back their 1337 coins from an exchange. Most devs would just give up and not worry about it but you sir are going above all to help fix this problem with C-cex exchange. Now lets just hope C-cex goes along with it and works with you to sort out the issues because it has gone on for far too long now.
thank you for the kind words its the least i can do to try to get the coins back to their rightful owners. sorry for the delays btw. lots of stuff that needs my attention now but hopefully im able to finish the update this week and after that i can focus on the new coin. Nice to see that this coin is not dead yet and development is going further. I know you have a lot of work on your ToDo-List, but may you find some time to contact yobit also, i have some 1337 there. Their Wallet is still broken, typically for yobit they doesn't answer on support tickets, maybe you as the coin dev get more attention to your requests. Does anybody else have 1337 there? yes i'll contact them to see what the problem is. the next halving of the apr is on februari 25th but im working on releasing that update this week so they dont have to wait till then. maybe im pushing it a bit with the hard forks every 3 months but i havent found a better solution yet sadly. thanks for the notification.
