Path A: Wales would defeat Austria and Ukraine would do the same against Scotland. And after a Wales - Ukraine matchup, Wales would manage to qualify for the World Cup.
Nothing against Wales, but I think Ukraine's probability of victory is much higher than that of Wales. Wales have good players, but even so I think Ukraine is more likely to reach the World Cup than Wales. If Wales makes it, it's history for them. Normally I agree that Ukraine have a really big attacking power so they can have an important opportunity here also. But Wales are a really interesting team that they can surprise people. I remember their performance in the Euro 2016 tournament. They reached even the semi-finals but were eliminated by Portugal that won the title also. But Wales are not showing the same performance now also. We will see what happens.

My favourites in every path are:
Path A: Wales would defeat Austria and Ukraine would do the same against Scotland. And after a Wales - Ukraine matchup, Wales would manage to qualify for the World Cup.
Path B: Russia would beat Poland and Czech Republic would do it to Sweden. And after a Russia - Czech Republic matchup, Russia would manage to qualify for the World Cup.
Path C: Portugal and Italy would succeed in defeating their opponents. And after a Portugal - Italy matchup, Italy would manage to qualify for the World Cup.
There is still a long time ahead until the matches of course but this is my first prediction for now. After seeing the squads of the teams, things would be clearer.

Back to commenting on this topic... yes, LeBron James for his age, he's still very athletic! I believe he is one of the most well-arounded players the NBA has ever had. Depending on the situation and your athleticism, I share with you that LeBron James will be able to play after 40 years.
Lebron James is still in a great shape to continue playing in NBA for many more years indeed. Despite his current age, his performance level is very high now. He is one of the most special players in NBA history undoubtedly. And he is a legend at the same time. And I wonder whether we will see him at another team before he retires or he will decide to end his career at Lakers. As he won a championship with Lakers also maybe he could look for another adventure later.

It seems to me like that Ajax can advance to the quarter finals after having one of the best matchups which is against Benfica. I wouldn't like to underrate Benfica of course but it should already be seen clearly by many people that Ajax are in a much greater condition than their opponent now. The Ajax team are comprised of very talented players especially for scoring. I expect them to continue to show their real strength in this matchup also.
The round 16 results will be full of surprises. Is obvious that Ajax have a great squad, and also they are currently unbeatable in the Champion League. But no team is probably weak as far as Champion League is concerned. However, Benfica will be hosting Ajax in the round 16 Leg 1, and Benfica will struggle not to lose since is will be their home match. The match will be very tough, but honestly I don't think Benfica can be able to resist Ajax in both home and away. Anyway, Let wait and see how they plays. It would be really interesting to see Ajax in the quarter finals actually. But I don't say that they don't deserve it. They totally deserve this opportunity because their group stage performance was absolutely marvelous. They won huge victories against all of their opponents and finished the stage as the leader comfortably. But after this round, they will have a much more serious opponent certainly.

There is another important match for Barcelona. It is going to be against Elche in a home match. Many of us expected Barcelona to defeat Osasuna but they witnessed a big resistance by Osasuna. But I assume that Barcelona won't let the same thing happen this time. Xavi had better warn their players about this match and they shouldn't underestimate their opponent.

Dortmund are another team that have a big claim on the title of the Europa League. But I wonder whether they will show this by an action like finishing Rangers off with a huge score in the first match of the draw already. Because if they play fully focusedly, Rangers will have nowhere to run undoubtedly. They already have a very low probability for eliminating Dortmund though.

There is still no goal in the Chelsea - Everton match which is very interesting. Because Chelsea have really owned the match so far but couldn't benefit from many goal chances. They also have missing players in their attacking field but they should be able to defeat Everton thanks to this high dominance. And while I was writing this, Chelsea finally scored! Mason Mount is the savior for now with the goal came in the 70th minute. I hope they can win.

It would also make look Mercedes look really bad if they keep dragging it until next year and possbily until the start of the new season? Its totally not worth it imho. Just pick themselves up, dust themselves and start preparing for another campaign for the next season. And really... Im kinda liking Hamilton now with how hes so gracious in defeat. I hope its another close one next season. Excited to see Russell in that Merc.
Hamilton is really a very gracious driver about this situation. If it happened to Verstappen, I guess that he would have been very angry at FIA and talked about this to people for a long time. I don't say that it is wrong. Of course, one should defend their right in such situations. But even though Hamilton was very disappointed after losing his deserved title by a simple mistake, he didn't continue to argue about it anymore. He even caused Mercedes to withdraw their last appeal.

I really appreciate Real Madrid's current performance even though they don't have Cristiano Ronaldo anymore. It has been around three and a half seasons since he left Real Madrid but they are still doing a great job. They are even much better in this season. We haven't seen the same from Barcelona after Messi's leaving for example. And in their tough draw against PSG, I've no doubt that they will give their best.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund both ended this round with victories. And their closest opponents in the standings like Leverkusen, Hoffenheim and Freiburg all lost points. And this caused Bayern and Dortmund to pull away a little from them. And another match weekend is starting as of tomorrow. Bayern Munich are hosting Wolfsburg and Dortmund are playing away against Hertha. Let's see if they both will win again.

I think the match Borussia Mönchengladbach - Eintracht Frankfurt could end in a draw. Both teams have almost equal strength. However, if I can predict a team that is close to winning, it will be Frankfurt. Bayern continues on its way without any losses.
I suppose that everything can happen in a match like this. Gladbach have been having a very bad season so far. Their last three results are just terrible. They conceded 14 goals in their last three matches. And they were able to score only two goals. And Frankfurt have a very solid form lately. They lost only once in their last five matches. And they destroyed Leverkusen by 5-2 last week. If one side can win, it will be Frankfurt I think.

PSG are very comfortable maintaining their lead by 13 points ahead of their nearest opponent which seems to be Marseille now. But there is not a surprising situation in the league table now as PSG were already the favourite to become the champions even at the beginning of the season. After adding Messi to the team, they are stronger now and their main focus is not even the Ligue 1 as they have no problem here now. I don't expect much from PSG despite having led the Ligue 1 standings by a sizeable difference in points with their current competitors. The unstable performance makes this team unseeded if the next opponent is Real Madrid, Bayern Munchen or other big teams in the Champions League. Messi does make a difference for their team, but the communication between the players has not been good because I think there is an ego to defend. Messi and Mbappe have started to show good cooperation in some match, but that's not enough for now. PSG need to have better teamwork to reach the Champions League final, but I'm not sure this season they can achieve it if the team's performances don't improve. Messi and Mbappe's recent performances have been really impressive to me. I was hoping Messi to get used to playing decently at this team and he finally started doing so. I don't expect Messi to play as awesome as his performances at Barcelona in the past. I just want him to play like real Messi. In this way, he will be contributing in a very good way to the team and he will do a great job with Mbappe and Neymar.

Bayern Munich got an amazing win against Stuttgart by 5-0 away. Bayern Munich's winning this match wasn't surprising but the a little surprising thing for me was their winning by a very big margin. Actually, I shouldn't be this surprised as we are talking about Bayern Munich. They can get wins like this in the Bundesliga almost whenever they want.

I agree with @Falconer now. I believe that Liverpool might even be the biggest candidate for reaching the championship. I have liked their performance the most considering all of the group matches so far. I don't have a clear opinion about Bayern Munich as their group matches were too comfortable for them. I will evaluate their performance in last 16 round and then put them on the right place they should be. But not only Liverpool are very strong of course as there are other big candidates like PSG and Manchester City for example.
