821  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [free to join] My second contest : win a wonderful Bitbox from Shiftcrypto !!! on: June 24, 2023, 07:48:20 PM
I filled out the survey form.

Edit: I chose @Samcoin as a contest partner.

Thank you @Danydee, for sharing the topic of this contest on the Arabic board, and thank you, @OP, for this great contest that allows people to participate for free and have a chance to get this awesome hardware wallet as a prize.

The BitBox02 hardware wallet is really great and reliable and has a lot of positive reviews and ratings on Truspolite; although I have not heard of it before, I hope to own one and be the winner of the prize draw and hope that I can receive it in my country smoothly.
822  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: A Dumb way to scam forum members on: June 24, 2023, 06:48:22 PM
This is really the dumbest method of scam I have seen so far, and it is not certain that someone will believe this scammer who claimed to be collecting donations for cancer and when he failed to convince people he came up with an idea that was stupider than the previous ones and then he created the topic of the Bitcoin Lottery Program, and he did not bother to write posts by himself, but rather used artificial intelligence instead of relying on his own intelligence, which I doubt he does not possess an iota of it, and he did not stop either, but published his Bitcoin Lottery scam topic on the Arabic board of the forum and used machine translation as well.

I've already reported his topic, and I'll tag him in red.

Thank you, OP for this topic  Smiley
823  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Are this scam sites or real? I am guessing they are scam sites on: June 23, 2023, 10:08:48 PM
Thank you all for your opinion, I will just advice the newbies no to use those accelerator sites, else they might be scammed because the accelerators are not likely accelerating anything. The only accelerator that I have seen to be working and not scam, including its free accelerator is ViaBTC accelerator.
Well done, buddy, for sharing this topic and for wanting to protect the community from losing their money in vain in these accelerator sites. Frankly, I have not tried any of them before, but what seems to me is that they take the person’s fees without making any impact on the transaction to be accelerated, yes ViaBTC is famous among these sites that trying to imitate the same services, but it also requires large fees in the paid plan, which may exceed the transaction funds, so I do not prefer to waste my money on these acceleration sites, and I prefer to wait instead.

What if you definitely know the site is a scam? Some people are trying to scam like that, they will not create topic but prefer to recommend scam site in their replies. Scammers have different ways of scamming.
I agree with you on that, but since @anubizz was his first mistake and he did not repeat it before, and he justified his position that he recommended these sites through Google, we can now overlook his recommendation, it is good that you deleted the red tag, but I hope that this will be a lesson for him in order not to recommend sites or platforms from search engines without having sufficient research about them or having previously tried them, and so that beginners and others do not lose their money, because this matter may make us throw suspicions about him.
824  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by a domain name "Buyer"... Sent me Bitcoin through a fake exchange. on: June 23, 2023, 08:46:03 PM
Once I got the Bitcoin, the "fun" began. Apparently, I can't transfer my now 75k BTC to another wallet unless I verify it by depositing 3k first.
I was consistently publishing topics about these new scam exchanges in the scam accusations board, and that they lure their victims by contacting them, then sending them a promo code, and after activating it on their exchange platform, it appears to the victim that he owns thousands of dollars in bitcoins or any other currencies, but the trap falls in that the victim cannot withdraw these fictitious amounts from his account until after he passes the KYC and deposits his funds, and in the end, he cannot withdraw the amount he got from the promo code, and he cannot withdraw his deposits, and they close his account after they injected poison into his vein, I thought that these methods have become familiar and outdated and that people have known and increased their awareness when they see these deceptive methods, but there are still beginners who do not know them. I hope that you did not deposit because thousands of new exchanges are now being promoted on Twitter and Discord, and all the social media that may appear in its interfaces and templates are legitimate, but all these exchanges, in fact, are outright fraud.
825  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: New Mystic Stealer targets 40 web browsers and crypto wallets on: June 22, 2023, 10:38:02 PM
Hacking and scamming are at an all-time high and they will go higher, awareness of the risk on every file you encounter is more important than ever, it is not ok to rely everything on anti-virus and anti-malware.

Now more than ever we have to upgrade our knowledge about security, hackers are working 24/7 to devise a scheme to hack as many computers as possible because they know every computer is a potential keeper of cryptocurrency.
I completely agree with you. There are Trojans that are encrypted professionally, as they do not appear to anti-virus programs as viruses. We should not rely on anti-virus programs, no matter how powerful they are, as they can only protect our devices by 50%, but the remaining 50% depends on us to immunize our devices to avoid download cracks and unknown programs from YouTube and unknown sites and stores, there are a lot of scam web extensions for wallets, fake phone applications and phishing domains, they target everything that investors and traders use in the crypto space a lot, also two-factor authentication should always be activated in all our accounts and wallets and its application should be on a separate phone or computer, and we should not save passwords in any browser, credit card information, or any sensitive information because if the device is hacked, the browser data will be in the hands of the fraudster on a plate of gold.
826  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The 10% Cripto SCAM on: June 22, 2023, 07:09:46 PM
The girl called me saying that she can't proceed with the withdrawal because the Blockchain is blocking her from proceeding with the withdrawal because I have a $300,000 in token sitting somewhere on the Blockchain and I have to receive it before proceeding with the Withdrawal.

Unlike the previous case, they all asked me to transfer the money into a portfolio they had created for me.

I think the broker platform that you used is a scam. Can you mention its name? This girl who contacted you is undoubtedly from the scam poker platform team and tried to access your contact information and messaged you. We point out that if you already own $300,000 of tokens on the blockchain, why not your withdrawal process completed without you receiving these tokens? You mentioned that the NDAX wallet was created for you, and they have security methods and wallet information, and this means that after you deposit 10% of the amount, which is $30,000, they will open the wallet and transfer the funds that you deposit immediately. What they mentioned to you are false inducements, and you do not have $300,000 of tokens on the blockchain; what I know is that the blockchain does not ban any transactions for anyone. No legitimate broker platform demands such exorbitant fees from its customers to proceed with the withdrawal process. You also mentioned that four others contacted you like this girl with the same temptations, so do not believe them at all.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: June 21, 2023, 10:41:04 PM
I was joining bounty from year 2017 till present i have experience joining different signature and social media campaign with good  earnings and there are also campaigns that is not profitable  and sometimes there are campaign that doesn't pay, because the project does not reach the hard cap when they launch ICO, most of the projects pays token that is not listed on exchange and we need to wait a months or maybe a year before we can sell our tokens and get the profit and sometimes we also buy tokens from the good projects that we promote and hold, can we considered the patience of the bounty hunter same as the investors patience?
Bounty hunters are investors, but not with money, but with the patience, time, and effort that they expended in promoting new projects whose tokens were not listed in the exchange platforms, and they are undoubtedly exposed in the first place to scam and their numbers can exceed hundreds and thousands of participants who seek to achieve good profits through the projects that they promote, which may be scams, or they refuse to pay them in the end. Yes, I agree that the patience factor links bounty hunters and investors because they undoubtedly wait months and years to achieve their goals of being able to sell their currencies after they are listed and make profits as a result of their long patience, and the thing I hope that the bounty hunters follow is that they do not work in any bounty and promote any project before they do their research and study all its aspects because in this way they will drag the investors who invested their capitals in the mud and lose them in the end.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife on wedding. on: June 21, 2023, 10:05:10 PM
Although I still studied, I invested a small amount in Bitcoin. I will get married if I get a good job. Many people give many things to their wives as wedding gifts, I have a different plan. I am planning to gift bitcoin to my wife on her wedding day. Bitcoin is still illegal in my country so I invested with caution. On my wedding day I want to gift half of my investment to my wife.
Should I gift bitcoin to my wife? I want your advice
What if your wife does not know anything about Bitcoin and about, ways to store and invest it, and so on? As if you gave her something unknown; in addition to that, if she knew that Bitcoin is illegal in your country, the gift will be an unpleasant thing for her because she does not have sufficient experience and culture, and her responses will be harmful towards your wedding gift. The best thing is that you invest in Bitcoin if you have enough experience and information, and through the profits of your investment in Bitcoin, you can give her an appropriate, tangible, and familiar gift for her. Do not give her half of your investment in Bitcoin. I appreciate that you know the unparalleled value of Bitcoin and the mighty power of its technology, and we are all convinced that this is a really outstanding gift, better than gold or precious metals, but excuse me, thousands of people do not know and are ignorant of the truth about this matter, so keep the secret of your investment to yourself and do not tell her about it until the day that your wife gains sufficient experience and education.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why has Bitcoin suddenly jumped above $30,000? - 06/21/23 on: June 21, 2023, 09:49:35 PM
Did China do something that made the Chinese people start buying? Or what?

Cool
I don't think so, but the applications of the new spot BTC ETF in the United States by giant investment companies to the SEC, such as BlackRock, which is a leading investment company around the world in asset management and has trillions of dollars in assets, this famous name in the world is seen by the community as a positive step for mainstream acceptance to the world of cryptocurrencies, BlackRock paved the way for other companies such as Fidelity Investments and Citadel Securities and others, and their entry into the crypto space led to the price of bitcoin jumping to above $30,000, reaching this price for the second time two months later, after the bankruptcy of FTX and after the regulatory war by the Securities and Exchange Commission on the leading exchnage platforms and after a lot of other negative news that took the price of Bitcoin previously to a low price range, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the US government can fight crypto and do everything they can, but they will not be able to stop Bitcoin.
830  Local / العربية (Arabic) / صعود كبير فى سعر البتكوين, والسبب؟ on: June 21, 2023, 07:55:33 PM

831  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1XBIT SCAMMED for 30.69mBTC on: June 19, 2023, 06:42:42 PM
UPDATE while writing this: It seems that I can log into my account again, they refunded all my bets and I have only deposit amount of my account.
So basically they stole 28.69mBTC, everything I made over this day they decided to not pay me out, I bet on 7 events at all and every bet got refunded, I did not use any software or I did not abuse any bug with odds, most of bets were live-bets based on what I saw watching cs:go matches.
It's good that they didn't take all of your deposits either; you made a mistake, man, in choosing this fraudulent 1Xbit platform; you can try to withdraw the remaining mBTC of your account immediately because I'm sure that the 1Xbit platform owners, after seeing your topic, can close your account again. This scam casino platform has had a bad reputation for years, and it has a red flag, I don't know why it hasn't stopped until today. And why is it attractive to players despite the spread of so many accusations of scam around it? There are many famous and reputable casino platforms here, so before depositing your funds on any casino platform, you should do your research and watch the ratings and reviews of the players about it, so as not to lose your money and waste your time in vain.

835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to accept crypto payments? on: June 14, 2023, 11:29:37 PM
I am wondering what are the ways to accept crypto payments in an online business. Should I share my wallet address and ask clients to send payments to it? Isn't it troublesome? Payments could be sent to the wrong wallet address and also it would be difficult to manage the transaction history. What should I do?
If your business is small, you can directly send customers the address of your wallet or your barcode in order to transfer the required amount to it, and you can from any explorer know information about the transaction and its history, then the matter is not complicated, but if your business is large or medium and you have thousands of customers, then I I strongly support what most of the members mentioned here that you deal through a good and reliable payment gateway or payment processor that has a wide reputation and positive reviews. Yes, they will cut some fees, so it is vital to choose a platform that suits your budget, but this will make it easier for you to receive a lot of financial transactions from your customers in less and anytime, anywhere, at the lowest cost of fees, with excellent security, with full transparency, and protection from price volatility for cryptocurrencies during payment, so you have to do your own research to choose the appropriate payment gateway for you and identify the defects and characteristics of each of them to choose the best that suits your needs, and among the best payment gateways are BitPay and CoinGate BitPay, OxaPay, and Shopify.
836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend interested in investing in BTC but the friend's father does not agree on: June 14, 2023, 10:38:33 PM
But when the friend's father found out about this, he forbade him to invest in bitcoins and later predicted that he would be banned by the government and that he would have problems with his job. Yes but it is true that there is a possibility of loss if the government staff comes to know about this investment during government office.

But my friend is not listening and instead he will invest on Bitcoin. I don't know what kind of suggestion I should make to my friend in such a situation. Should I ask my friend to invest in Bitcoin? Or ask to pay more attention to his job?
I cannot blame the father of this friend because what I see from his words is that he is ignorant of everything about Bitcoin despite his noticeable fear for the money of his son, who wants to invest in Bitcoin. First, what he said about investing in Bitcoin, the government will ban it, and he will face problems in his job; this is wrong because there are many ways to make a person completely anonymous in this arena, and it is complicated to reveal his identity, as thousands of people invest in bitcoin in countries that prohibit bitcoin and crypto in their laws, and things are going well. Because if a person does not deal with CEX platforms and did not provide his documents and sensitive information to anyone or any centralized platform, how will they recognize him, since the blockchain technology also maintains privacy? Do not force him to invest in Bitcoin, but advise him to gain experience and get acquainted with all aspects of this investment first because it is fraught with risks if the person is a beginner and his experience is limited, and he must be discreet and not declare that he will invest in Bitcoin to anyone, no matter who is him.
837  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam targeting Metamask wallet user's on: June 13, 2023, 10:38:09 PM
I just got a message from some scammer claiming to be Metamask with the statement that my Metamask wallet needs an upgrade.
Unfortunately, Metamask is not the only wallet that scammers send such messages to its users to upgrade their wallets. I previously found the same message, but for the application of the Trust wallet, Binance, and MEXC platforms, and they put a malicious link containing a fake application in order to be downloaded by the recipients of the messages and users of the platforms, so the first step is to know what the message was real or fake is to look at the official email of the sender, the domain link that these scammers sent, and the tweets and announcements of the wallet or the exchange platform on their official websites or social media. And I advise you to use a "Custom email" for the public and a custom email for your financial accounts; also, do not open any links in the message sent to you and do not download any application from the mail or any PDF, and finally make your trust zero in incoming mail messages so that you do not regret!
838  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [warning] Fake Private-note -- pirvnota.com on: June 13, 2023, 09:30:16 PM
Its called Pirvnota
Code:
 https://pirvnota.com
and It should be used with maximum caution since It seems they "read" the notes and change the btc address inside (putting their own address) [source telegram chat scarce.city ].
I used the pirvnota site and wrote a note containing my BTC address, and pressed Create Note, and after that, I got a link containing my note, and after I opened the noted link and showed it, the surprise was that they changed my BTC address to theirs as in the following image:

Thank you for posting this warning, and indeed pirvnota is a fake site that has the same interface as the original Privnote.com site and manipulates users' notes, and these scammers certainly see them before any user sends them, so I honestly do not see the benefit of using these sites that provide anonymous notes, because I am sure that this is a lie and that the users' notes will be exposed to the site administrators.
839  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarized Whitepaper - MetaSystem Token on: June 13, 2023, 08:36:18 PM
They most likely hired the BM and not the well known campaign and/or bounty managers for this very reason, because they know the BM wouldn't care to do a research before accepting the job.
Great catch holydarkness; well done
This bounty manager doesn't want to learn from his mistakes, I don't know where he gets these projects from, maybe he finds them through the dark web and contacts them in order for them to hire him to post their nonsense here.

I'm slow as a turtle Grin @FatFork beat me to post the proof about their fake team, well done you too man.

Now a plagiarized Whitepaper and fake team, the result is that it's a scam project of the first degree, I hope bounty hunters stop promoting it.
