On what basis ? Current block: 6000ish. 1500+ blocks are mined everyday. Most whales will dump at 8500-9000ish. As I said, a pre-pump until the last 9k ish blocks, then a big dump. Check the 100 top addresses. These guys also want to cash out. 3000 satoshi is not sustainable. |

Haha, I have never seen someone work this hard to make other dump their coins. If you hate BC so much, why are you in this forum trash-talking everyone who likes it? It's really annoying man, and it's not going to work. Blackcoin has achieved a net hashrate in 3 days that most other coins will never achieve. Can't be totally worthless. At 1MH you can mine about .3 LTC per day...... A person with a stake of about 10000 BC will generate about .3 BC....... Better dump your LTC guys its not worth it to have by this guys logic. Isn't the inflation going to stop suddenly once all coins are mined thus making them much more rare instantly? Could see a huge upward swing.
What is the incentive to invest in BC after the 10,000 blocks? Who gives a sh** about rarity? If the coin receives no development and isn't backed by a strong community (see Noblecoin), then BC will die. BTW, at 2200 satoshi (current market price) I believe the total market cap is already around $2M USD. It's a bubble. Get out at 3000 satoshi and call it a day i hope youre joking. There will be about 2740 new coins generated per day. That's more than some coins that are POW on the market today. The stability of POS along with the amount of coins generated not being insane will allow for a steady growth. Gonna be a whole lot of people regretting dumping in about 5 days.

No development, no games, no news, dev doens't even post here I think after the 10000 blocks, one big dump and that's it. With PoW: 15,000,000 mined everyday. (1,500 blocks/day @ 10,000 coins/block) With PoS: 2,740 mined everyday. PoS generates 0.02% of what we currently get with PoW at time of post. You call this steady growth? I call this death It's not even worth it. Again, my predictions; perhaps a pre-pump to the 10,000 mined block, then a big fat dump from whales. |

As someone with a MSc in Finance I am at a loss as to how the developer[Rat] has not explained the POS in any detail that is not subject to wild speculation on this thread. The opening post says 1% pa but others say 1% per 8hours which when compounded is exponential...some others says 1% per 8hr period for those with open unlocked wallets selected at random.
No one can accurately value this coin without these basic questions answered and I am issuing a warning not to invest unless you yourself can answer the below questions:
The questions to the developer are:
1) When do untouched balances stake [days] ?
2) Will all wallets with untouched balances stake ?
3) If the answer to quest#2 is NO then which qualifying wallets will stake?
4) Is the qualification by random selection ?
5) If not all qualified wallets stake, what proportion of the 100,000,000 coins will stake ?
6) When an amount is staked how long will this amount collect interest ?
7) Is the stake interest rate 1% per annum, per 8 hours, etc, etc ?
8. Will locked wallets stake ?
9) Will encrypted wallets stake ?
10) Will unopened wallets stake ?
