The best remedy for all these sites that people have lost thier money is to file charges with the Internet Crimes Division.They are coming down harder on all these so called scam sites and putting them in jail.For one example just last month the owner of one site in canada got 15 yrs for a ponzi scam and recovered most of the funds from the investers.So just file charges and lets get rid of the scammers
The Ponzi games can't be charged for as they're legitimate. They state the risks and run their site as a game. As for the Canada incident, do you have a news incident or anything like that we can take a look at? Was it a fiat or crypto currency situation? Edit: just looked up the article and found: - It was fiat currency - Had nothing to do with crypto currency - Over 400mil investor money was stolen. Thats why police investigated it. Not even CryptoDouble got that big, and if they did, they still wouldn't have been caught. Crypto currency is to hard to trace until it is in fiat currency and even nearly 2 months after cryptodouble closing i haven't seen any news on the owners identity let alone arrest as of now. I think we should do a fork, however it is important that we do this correctly. first of all and i am adamant about this, we should not end POW. I present you with an alternative, instead we should introduce an emission curve for the mining reward, which in effect would reduce the reward for mining over time. Most other mined cryptocurrencies also have this feature. for example Bitcoin, Litecoin and Darkcoin. Introducing a emission curve would also reduce the total supply of Exclusivecoin making it more rare. It is important that Exclusivecoin remains a currency that can be mined, at least in its formative years. There are many reasons why POW is favorable, most importantly are the factors of distribution and security. In terms of the economics it makes Exclusivecoin less inflationary, and the incentive for mining is maintained because of the potential increase in value offsets the reduced mining reward. I think we should also reduce staking frequency, this should give the wallet less of a processor footprint and should increase its performance. It would still be two percent per year, however staking rewards would just not come in as often. Since if we are doing a fork it makes sense to introduce any useful changes now, doing a fork is a change on a fundamental level, and an important step in the evolution of any cryptocurrency. This is why it is so important that the community is included in this process and is able to participate and contribute. So if anyone has any ideas that you think we should implement in Exlcusivecoin then please speak up and share your ideas with us. Kingscrown asked me about helping him initiate a hardfork in order to change the POS rewards of EXCL and transitioning it into POS only much sooner. What do you guys think about this?
I have had some good success with PayCon and initiated a hardfork with no issues that changed the Proof of Stake reward to be 30 Coins per Block (along with the base difficulty), in every Block which mimics Proof of Work (PayCon is a Proof of Stake only Coin). The initial inflation is high with PayCon, 15.8 Million Coins per year (30 Coins * 1440 Blocks per day * 365 days) currently the float is 3.4 million, but Coins are only going to active Stakers so have only seen price increases along with the inflation because POS holders tend to hold their Coins instead of dumping because the cost of Staking is 1000X less than POW and you need to own Coins in order to Stake.
You guys seem to really dislike POW always dumping on the price and so do I, so if you would like to make a change and kill the POW then please decide what you want to make as the changes and why.
Well, I am miner for more than two years now and since x11 came on scene I was mining dark for 6 months, then move to cannabis for 2 months and from September I'm mining excl. First two brought huge success to me, I still want to mine this very very much. If you move it to POS what shall we mine then? And this coin isn't near where it should be. You would mine other Coins in the multipool and have it converted to EXCL which increases buy pressure. what ever it takes to get this coin where it belongs is fine with me i stake it anyway so would be no difference.I will let the techies look after this kind of stuff |

Excuse me but "STUPID" is not a good choice of words for anyone in this community.I think we have a very smart community here every since this started and we all want the same thing here for this coin to flurish.You have to remember it is the end of the month where bills need paid before we play.And i also think that it is the miners who are dumping thier small amounts from mining at a lowball price so it would be them who are keeping the price down and if it is them doing it now that would be questionable for even at the price they dump at not worth a dam certainly not enough to pay any bills.I mean i do not mind the low price it is great for adding to my inventory but if we are going to make this work lets get the price up where it brlongs |
