821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH LESS MONEY? on: August 28, 2023, 08:58:46 AM
Engage in business that requires smaller amount of capital, yet the demand is high especially if it’s placed in its perfect location. When I say perfect, it also means there is less competition around which makes your business the center of the people’s demand. That way, regardless how small your business at the start, it will surely grow because the scope of your business is wide and not limited.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons Taken from Previous Bull Markets: How Will Your Approach Change? on: August 27, 2023, 09:29:06 PM
One lesson to learn is to sell all you have when the price reaches its peak because you don't wanna hold BTC and tokens where prices are going down for more than a year. It happens every after the bull market. I have to remind myself all the time that bears are going to keep selling until those who invest in the bull market dries up. Those who didn't sell during the last bull market and hold still to this very day I think understood how much was lost.

The bull market will teach us about the loss of chances to sell the holding with good profits. Many traders with less skills will sell their holdings at the beginning of the bull run.But they fail to understand the market and basic of the trading. The bull run will survive for certain period of time, when the market auto adjusted to all time high.Thenthe trader should not delay for the further increase of price,he should satisfy with the market and get profits by selling at that price. When the bear market starts, you feel like loss of the opportunity.
Exactly. And you will definitely miss the chances to be profitable if you refuse to sell when the market is bullish. With that mindset, you are not hodling to gain future profits, but you are missing another opportunity to be in profits. Furthermore, know that bearish market happens after a bullish one. That time, you will no longer have an idea as to when the market will be bullish again so never be greedy enough to save all what you can save,  but know the value of bullish market and learn to sell when its certainly the perfect time to sell and gain massive profits.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: August 27, 2023, 05:01:06 PM
Today I am going to tell you something that ridiculous to me or out of my mind that it's so hard for me to believe that it just a coincidence.
Yesterday there was an accident on the road between a car and a motorbike, to my surprise my friend stopped writing the number of the motorbike and car and when I got home my friend opened a gambling site playing roulette and placed a bet on that number and I asked him why he made this stupid bet. the numbers on the roulette game from an accident and he just answered trying his luck.
After that I was shocked and held my head because the bet chosen by my friend got a multiplier of 100x and the ball stopped at that number and I thought was it luck or just a coincidence and to this day I still think about ridiculous things but it gives good luck.
a lot of people do things like that, but whether it's a coincidence or how I don't know..? but many people do just that.
but what made me wonder, instead of people rushing to help people who had an accident, what they did was they were competing to record numbers.
it was just a coincidence that made his friend lucky. even though some people believe in such things, but still in the game there will be winners and losers.
and the numbers only give suggestions and belief in someone. I'm sure if there was a similar incident and his friend repeated that kind of thing he wouldn't have the same luck either.
something like that will only foster someone's obsession with winning.
yes maybe it's true like that, they are too obsessed with getting victory and I agree with the opinion you put forward. But it seems we have to avoid excessive obsession with winning, because otherwise this will be bad for us.

when someone is obsessed with winning they are willing to do anything to get victory like doing mythical things to get the numbers to be installed. the bad thing is when someone doesn't succeed in getting a win, what happens is he will feel excessively stressed and anxious.

It will likely give you that specific result if you're too obsessed with winning that you as the gambler already forget the possibilities whenever you are in the middle of gambling, loses are normal and that is something that we cannot do to prevent it because it's inevitable. You can have some wins along the way because that is also a part of your chances but it will be too much if you're only hoping for the positive without even having some troubles in the process and that's just impossible which will lead is to an unwanted road.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: August 27, 2023, 02:08:17 PM
Jerwin's only accomplishment at bantamweight is beating a journeyman on a 5 fight losing streak, yet somehow ends up getting an opportunity to fight for a title. We see once again that it's all about being well connected if you want to be a champion. Ancajas is a limited fighter but this is not the strongest division and Inoue is a beatable fighter. At this point another setback would be devastating but if he can win it would be interesting to see him against Alexandro Santiago who defeated Donaire a month ago.

You got a point and it's not that new anymore in this industry because the boxers who got some connections can indeed pull some strings to fight against a much better name, a champion, even if they are still new in the division. But in this case, I think we can also make an exemption just like the other boxers because Ancajas isn't an ordinary boxer either, he just had one fight but that also proved that he's way better than them that is why he is now getting the chance to fight against the champion, which I think he got the upper hand as well.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 27, 2023, 01:25:54 PM
Tapales Arrives in Los Angeles, Starts Camp For Potential Inoue Undisputed Fight

Him arriving in Los Angeles with a headline of potential camping means that their deal is about to be done, there's no going back now and I'm glad that both camps have finally come up to agree with a deal. It shouldn't be that long before we will know the fight's final details and as the OP stated, November might be their official month as well but for the venue, I've heard that Inoue's camp is planning to hold it in Tokyo, Japan in a much bigger stage.

Hopefully next time, Inoue will start to explore his options in US soil too to have a much better benefits compared to Japan where stadium's aren't actually that big.
826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What could be the problem here? on: August 27, 2023, 09:54:35 AM
What do we think could be the cause for a trader that has been experiencing a win and lose repetitive occurrences in his trades.

Like he places a trade today he makes profit and the next day when he places another trade he would lose it, whereas the next day he then makes another profit and lose it the next. And this happen been repeating for more than a month.

Has anyone had such experience? If yes! Then how was or could it be solved or stopped?
The situation is getting psychological.
I think his trading strategy is not completely working, that’s why he is more into losses and some winnings lately. If he will continue to use it, probably there will be no changes in his trading outcome, but if he’ll develop a new and a more reliable strategy, he can start maximizing his profits and minimize his losing moments. Moreover, his trading habits might also be triggered. He should assess more of his trading habits and strategies so he can finally track the sources of his trading losses.
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 26, 2023, 03:49:03 PM
What do you think about the Warriors signing Blake Griffin to a 1 year deal at the minimum to make a CP3 lob city reunion? I think it’s a great idea from a business perspective and I also think it’s a great use for your final roster spot. CP3 and Griffin definitely have a chemistry that makes them more dangerous when paired together.

https://clutchpoints.com/nba-rumors-warriors-eyeing-blake-griffin-chris-paul-reunion-to-complete-roster

If they needed a good big men, I doubt that Blake will be a perfect fit for them, I thought that they are supposedly getting their former player Javale MgGee was their target.

But in any case they choose Blake over Griffin, I don't think that Blake can play that lob city, just like when they are in the Clippers uniform. Blake is no longer in his prime to dunk and have highlight reels just like what he did when he was still that high flying player early on his career.

Blake would play max 10 minutes on this squad and be there for a veteran presence.  His days dominating the pain and being agile enough to play down low are over.  Golden state still lives and dies with the splash Brothers.  Everything else is gravy.  Interested to see how the inclusion of cp3 helps with floor spacing for klay.

I'm not sure though if his veteran presence is needed there. I mean we have the big 3 of Warriors, bringing 4 titles in them. And add to the equation, CP3 then you have a lot of experience in that squad that I doubt that you can fell the veterance presence of one Blake Griffin.

If they wanted him to the Warriors, he will have to come from the bench and provided relived for Draymond to play tough defense and to Looney too and get those defensive and offensive rebounds. But he is way out of his prime already so I don't think it's a good idea for the Warriors to acquire him even for a veteran minimum, just saying.

That might be the reason why it was rumored that the Warriors are thinking of acquiring Blake Griffin, as a substitute for Draymond as his experience is going to add some extra flavor on their defense and that's it. They already have enough firepower and so he's not really that needed to play as much as 10 minutes per game because the other players in the roster can also do that, if not, much greater than him as he is not the same Griffin anymore.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 26, 2023, 02:36:23 PM
Here is another fun fact from NeonMan himself,

The record attendance for a FIBA game was 25 years ago, Dream Team II at 32,000. While the Arena in the Philippines and the attendance there was 38,115 fans rooting for Gilas to win, unfortunately, KAT was too strong. Kai Sotto try to guard him but it was clearly a mismatch.

But the good thing about KAT is that he recognized and respect the efforts of team Philippines.

He see how passionate the Filipino on basketball and he receive a lot of love from Philippines so expect that he will say something good to their opponent also to the host country. But its really a tight game between Philippines and Dominican Republic if Philippines didn't collapsed on last quarter and Clarkson didn't get fouled out maybe the result is different. Philippines coaching staff seems having a big mess and looks like he don't have proper plan if Clarkson is out of the game.

That was the turning point – when he fouled out, it became the reason why the Philippines couldn't find their offensive rhythm anymore. Nevertheless, I believe it's time to move forward. With two more games ahead, I hope the Philippines will learn from their mistakes and make the necessary adjustments. We have a good opportunity against Angola, although I'm uncertain about our chances against Italy.

For the article I read and noise on social media many Filipino basketball fans doesn't like the current coach because his system use is outdated and it really show how inconsistent he is in creating crucial decision that's why they always left behind by their opponents. Lets hope that their lose to Dominican republic will be their wake up call to create more better plays and decision especially on crucial minutes. They there full of talents but they are just been wasted because their coaching staff doesn't know how to use them they just let Clarkson get tired and receive more fouls then we see how bad the result it turns for them.

Indeed, the Pilipinas have a good roster and yet coach Chot Reyes, their coach, cannot utilize them all to make a much better play and just like what he had done to the team the other day, it was evident that he's not the right man for the job. Even the Filipino fans knew that there are others who is more deserving but they were not given a chance to have another coach.

There are lots of window at that time that he could've pull out a good move as a coach but it's like he don't see it or sometimes, he's already late before he realized it. Even the challenge calls wasn't utilized well.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 26, 2023, 01:45:33 PM
Yes, there's no other reasons other than money on why would SugaSean try to call out Tank Davis. To be frank, he is way too early to make this step because he haven't made a name in his own field yet which is also a reason why would Tank accept his invitation. There are way more challenges in his current career that he needs to face and jumping towards other sports industry is certainly not an answer because eventually, he will lose himself as money is his only motivation.
If this fight is officially happen, I will not surprised to see Sean O'Malley will not extend UFC contract and move to boxing or another MMA promotion that give him a way to fight in boxing. Maybe he can stay in UFC, proving if he's really worth with his title and make a big fight with Conor. But that big money is only fight with Conor, while boxing he can take many matches and make a lot money in every matches.

It's going to be a wrong move though for SugaSean if he wanted to fight Davis right away. He should stay on his path, in UFC and then defend his belt and that's where he should chase his greatness first before going out and look for money fights.

For sure, Dana White is not going to let this thing specially if he had a huge contract with UFC. Maybe if he doesn't have any contract, but for sure, Davis is not interested here, he will just focus on his boxing career and win some real belts.

Well, yes, he still do have an existing contract with the UFC and that means he couldn't have a fight in other sports industry even without Dana's words as the contract itself is already there. Furthermore, I don't think as well that Gervonta Davis is likely to accept any offer from SugaSean as he might not be inclined for a circus fight this time and SugaSean will not ring any bell in the boxing world because he's still a new fighter and of course will have a hard time if a fight will happen.

It will be too clear what would be the motive of the fight and so, there will be no hype in it because people will not be expecting something good in their fight.
830  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: August 25, 2023, 09:15:26 PM
Yes, trading is way more profitable than long term hodling. But have you been trading and making decent income in most of your trades? Because it’s easier being said than done. Trading is done with high knowledge and skills, and only experienced traders only stood the test of time, because a lot end up losing and eventually quit from trading. That is simply the reason why most of the traders end up settling with long term hodling. At least, when you hold and tend to forget that you have been keeping bitcoin in your portfolio, you are likely to profitable when the market is in profits.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: August 24, 2023, 04:18:40 PM
This is a good fight.

Ancajas have defended his IBF belt for 9 times which mean he was a strong boxer, but later he lose two times against Martinez make me feel he's not that strong. On the other hands Takuma ever lose once against Nordine Oubaali, one of the best boxer at that time, so it's still understandable.

I don't expect KO in this match, so I guess Takuma will win via decision.

Jerwin Ancajas might have more chances in this fight than we thought because aside from having more experience against the young Inoue, the former champion also has the reach and height advantage which we know that is really useful to the boxer specially if they know how to utilize their advantages. This might be a division for the Inoues but Jerwin is also a different animal, in-fact, he already had his debut at 188 earlier this June and had a TKO win.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 24, 2023, 02:55:37 PM
^ I have my doubts that Zion will ever be able to play a full 82 game season. He’s just too big to be a professional basketball player. The speed and strength of this guy almost ensures an injury. Healthy, he’s the most dominant player the NBA has seen since Shaq, and more athletic than a young LeBron.
Well, we might truly see a repetition of what has happened to him for several seasons having an injury. But boy, I've seen the recent photos of him and he's got more buff. I guess it's time for him to invest in how to maintain his body but not compromise his performance just as Lebron takes care of his body.

If they did figure out how to keep him healthy for the rest of his career, he would no doubt be one of the best to ever do it.
This is without any doubt. We do recognize how good and full package he is.

He truly is a destructive power in the center which makes him even more dangerous, and he can be a menace at times too. It's just unfortunate that he cannot play that much in the league in the past few seasons that he's been in because of the injuries that he acquired that seems not going away from him. And to make things worse, he keeps on getting a season threatening injury when the season is approaching its end, meaning the team badly needs him during those times but he cannot do anything but to see in the sidelines cheering for his team.
833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you must follow or use the services of trading signals providers on: August 24, 2023, 09:57:53 AM
If you must follow those trading signals providers, then you are bound to lose your capital. That’s probably the reality in trying to rely from those trading signals because you think that will ensure profitable trades.

There are no guaranteed profits in trading. Even professional traders lose from their well planned trades, so how much more for those beginner traders who are trying to make shortcuts and just rely their trades on other people? Trading is all about learning. The success of your trades will greatly depend on how you follow the rules in trading and on how you put some risk management into your trades.
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 23, 2023, 01:58:01 PM
And speaking of this fight, I read that the two camps are back in negotiation tables right now? So it's good for Tapales though, perhaps it was a mistake on the side of Inoue and maybe they realized that they really need Tapales as he has the 2 other belts as well.

As for the rankings in PH, yeah, most likely Casimero and Tapales will be the best 2 fighters for them. So regardless of who is going to be the #1 or second rank contender, still valid as Tapales has the belt while Casimero is just racking up wins in his new division.

I cannot blame Inoue or somebody from his camp for playing against Tapales's camp because before the fight, they should talk about business first where everything is a must.

And for business, Inoue's camp might've thought that Tapales will be okay with what they are offering because even if they are both fair in this bout, Inoue is the one who can bring more food in the table but Tapales wasn't impressed by that because they know that they are playing a tug-of-war and they are asking for a much fairer price as they know that Inoue is more inclined to have his belts rather than jumping another weight class again.

Regarding about Casimero, what's with him these days? He should at least fight once again this year, specifically Luis Nery, to keep him warm and defeat the competition because he is the one chasing for the champion and surely not the other way around.
835  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: YOU ARE LUCKY TO BE IN THIS FORUM on: August 23, 2023, 09:38:31 AM
Absolutely lucky. If I have not known this forum, probably I’m still in the struggle of looking for different side hustles that will offer me good income, knowing my main job is not sufficient enough. And no matter how hard I work, for sure my income will not be as sustainable like I have today. That’s why I feel so blessed and grateful for being part of this forum because my life has gradually changed, and my finances are not bad anymore like I used to have. And I’m sure a lot have also experienced the same as mine. Some are even more lucky and more successful because their achievements are way far more from their expectations.
836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which Trading Bot Is The Best? on: August 22, 2023, 08:59:37 PM
I don't know how many times this has been said here, using bots does not guarantee that you will make profits every day. In fact, before you use a bot, you must have an idea about trading manually and also your best working strategy.

You only use a bot to automate your best working strategy.

Avoid signals. Most of them are scams. Learn how to trade first instead of looking for the best bots and signals.
Absolutely. Using trading bots are like increasing the risk to lose your money because you dare to trust a robot more than yourself who lacks the real human intuition. Trading needs more experience and expertise when it comes to analyzing the market trends, assessing the factors that would trigger the market next, and I think using trading bots do not have the real capabilities and are not worthy enough of your money and time. While trading bots may be helpful for some beginners, but always remember that when you aim for a successful trading outcome, it’s only your own knowledge and skills that you can always rely and not some other trading bots or signals even if they’re given for free.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: August 22, 2023, 03:58:36 PM
Yes, but all the same, there will always be such people who believe in various external forces, talismans and other nonsense. And no one can convince them of this. Superstitions in medicine can do more harm to human health than in gambling. Although in some small cases in medicine it is possible to cure some psychological diseases through self-hypnosis. Including gambling addiction.
Superstition isn't always related with psychological disease, I think almost everyone have such believe because it's related to experience, people always remember something based on their experience. That's why when someone carry a weird stuff, I'm not really surprised because when you ask them about that weird stuff, they can explain how the stuff can give a luck to them in the past.

But don't be surprised if they will avoid and keep a safe distance from you from knowing what their bets are because that's also one of their beliefs where they strongly believe that it will contradict to their bets and get unlucky if they share their prediction which will lead them to more losses. I guess you don't want to get blamed for that Cheesy
So, let's just respect them for that because that's their life to begin with and nothing will make them change mainly if they are already accustomed to it.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 22, 2023, 02:45:30 PM
Some people who suffered from this syndrome are lottery winners and those who won a huge amount of money from casinos or even investors who made huge profits from trading

Sudden wealth syndrome can be controlled, the first step to doing that is to maintain privacy, there's a level you will get to and win a huge amount of money and then you try to avoid going public with it, the second thing to consider is in the clique we move with, we have to be very careful of friends i gambling, they can lead us astray if we are not careful in whatever thing we are doing while gambling, some people have achieved nothing over years and don't mind you loosing together with them all you had, since they have nothing to miss at the cause, lastly, every opportunity in winning a huge amount of money should be invested and not a time to begin irrelevant celebration to lavish the money with friends, drinks and women.

Keeping the winnings secret can't lessen the SWS IMO, the best move I think is to seek out financial advisors.  Since we are not familiar in financial management, it is not bad to look for advice on things we are not familiar with.  We don't have to expose that we won a huge amount of money, since we have the right to keep our financial status secret, but getting advises, and knowledge about financial literacy often saves us on this kind of syndrome by knowing what to do next.

I also agree that we should not live our lives in a luxurious life, boasting about our financial capability, it is always best to have a low profile, this will save us from lots of dangers and headaches.

Making a habit to buy luxury brands and other luxury things that aren't really needed is just a plain symptom of SWS and yes, you're just getting yourself in a dangerous situation as you will be targeted by someone who wanted something from you. I know that they deserve to buy things on their own preference because they now have the power to buy things on their own accord because they are already wealthy, but these things can wait because they don't have any knowledge yet how to maintain their status.

Hiring a financial advisor would be the best and safest move while you yourself is learning on the sidelines how to handle things because these hiring these types of people is not cheap that is why you should be on your best version to get things in control.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: August 22, 2023, 01:11:15 PM
Next year will be my first bull run and have just been thinking about what will be best to do when it finally arrives next year.

Do you plan on just holding till an amount you are happy with or is it a good idea to try and trade altcoins whilst they are pumping to earn even more?

For my altcoins, I'm definitely going to sell a few fractions of it because in that way, I can hold the real profits in my hands for real and not just on the screen saying that I generated profits. Furthermore, I already have a plan for it that's why I'm selling it instead of holding or trading towards any other crypto in the market.

Besides, the only coin I'm holding without touching any of it is bitcoin and that will remain as is until my desired goal is achieved.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 21, 2023, 12:48:15 PM
I don't know where some gamblers are getting their confidence from, do you know that online casinos can keep rejecting your ID after you made some high amount of money? Some people cares about winning first before passing KYC, it's cool you believe that you won't always win but the luck comes when we least expected.

Imagine winning and you find it hard to pass KYC, trapping your money on the casino for like ever.

It's not always the casinos fault, I know some are dubious but the thing is KYC verification is something you should first deal with before making your first deposit.

Online casinos can be frustrating at times, some casino won't accept your submitted document even when you haven't make any deposit on the platform yet, so always confirm your identity first.

Submit your identity and wait for approval, do not be in haste to make deposit first, because the identity you submitted without a green approval from the team can still be rejected, take your time to get the passed approval first before proceeding with gambling.

Are you willing to do that while exploring your options on which casino can meet your needs as a gambler? I assume that your answer will be no because identity is a precious thing to us and that keeps us different and unique from any other people, surely we wouldn't do such mistakes where we keep on submitting our identity firsthand while also using a couple of casino. You know, until we can find that casino that is suitable to us.

But if you're inclined to do that, I suggest that you filter a couple of reputable casino and select whichever you want before you start submitting your information to them. That way, it's more safer compared to what I mentioned above.
