I'm the founder of Heat Ledger Ltd. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1543991http://heatledger.net is the official forum for HEAT. The OP of this thread offered to promote the contest for more visibility and is apparently doing good job at it. Logo contest bounty and other possible payments are paid directly to the winners by Heat Ledger Ltd, a registered Finnish company that collected about 1600 BTC worth of cryptocurrency in its ICO ending in August. Thanks for your interest in contributing to a perfect symbol for the HEAT token! After seeing this post, i am going to start designing the logo soon. good luck to all !

I have still not achieved my first whole bitcoin but i am on its way of achieving it. Till now i have accumulated about 0.7 btc from signature contests, logo contests, signature campaigns and other micro tasks. I even have used some part of my earnings, got into ponzi while in newbie stage, but now i am holding until i get 1 btc.

Bitcoin is not at all popular in my country. The only bitcoiners i have seen of my country are just online like on this forum. There are not any developments related to it. Very rarely i see some news regarding bitcoins in newspapers and that too are just some general stuff and not some national news. I think bitcoin has a long way to spread out its roots and be popular here.

You can use electrum wallet for this purpose. Load your addresses into it and all your bitcoin transactions would be shown from the blockchain. Further there is a option to add description regarding the transaction, you can add one-liner detail related to that transaction and voila ! your transactions are recorded !

I saw a lot people recommending blockchain.info, coinbase, and localbitcoin wallet, I suggest to all newbie to try Bitcoin Core or Election to experience what is difference between offline and online wallet.
Yes because blockchain.info is one of the most oldest and safest bitcoin wallet nowadays and it will more secured now that you can sign a message to provide your identity of the address here in bitcointalk.org i love using it is easy to use and it is not hard to use anyway Not so safe there is still risk to use online wallet but you can secured your wallet so that hackers can hack your account.. use always 2 factor auth. that can prevent hackers to login to your account.. for me i will suggest to use electrum instead its more safe than online wallet.. I would also prefer using an offline wallet like electrum over online wallets as they give the user full control of their private keys. While using online wallets, the private keys are shared with them and thereby there is a risk that they might get misused by hackers or the site might crash suddenly. Online wallet like coinbase are worst as they don't even provide the private keys of their addresses.

If signature campaigns and tweets are your only way of earning btc, then it may get boring overtime. But if you are a skilled designer or coder then it will not be the same. It depends on what mode you choose to earn btc. btw, when you are posting here you come across exciting news and sites about bitcoins to remove the boredom.

I think the reason why people hate bitcoins is fluctuating price, though now the price seems to be stable. Other reason may be that they would have got scammed in the past and so left the crypto world or the transactions view-able publicly to all . Btw, most crypto users love this currency. It is my only source for online income too.

At first i would be very sad as all of my earnings would get lost. I would not take the risk again in investing any other currency. I would keep my btc with me till they rise back and sell them to assure my money in fiat.

|
I have managed to get get around just 0.7 btc. All my btc are earned online and i have never invested any fiat into it, just my time and skills. My target is to collect at-least 1 Btc as early as possible so as to benefit more in the future.
