Lets not forget the hybrid. I know the 2011 (1) Bitcoin brass/Lealana holo hybrid is a 1 of 1 original. Dont know of any other hybrids that might be part of this mintage.

There is 1 rare 3 coin LTC set also .... 5, 10, 25 LTC All but 1 set had the 10 LTC taken from batch 2 of the 10's. 1 set has it as a batch 1 error 10 LTC. I need to double check the number. But that set is one of a kind.  |

I have opened a few new rolls of casascius coins. I have treated all coins the same. Using gloves taken them from roll to flips, and submitted them straight for grading.
For each of the rolls I have done this for, the coins have recieved a range of grades. Generally the variance between the top and the bottom is 3 grades.
Not all rolls are equal. Not all coins in the same roll are equal.
Effectively MS67 and above are all 'mint'. The differences then have nothing to do with anything after they have come out of the roll, and everything to do with what happened getting them into the roll in the first place.
Casascius coins are no different to any other silver coins. They will each have a bell curve of grade distributions. The highest grades will generally always be the rarest. For any coins the market will decide the premium that the higher grades recieve.

I reckon the silver needs to have another trip to ANACS. Cant see any reason for it being a 65. Needs to get to 67 to match the rest of the set

I have all of the Cryptolator 'animal' special editions (Pig, Dog, Sheep), in a variety of finishes. But they arent for sale. I do have a number of the 'USA' variants - USA2 as I recall. I am happy shipping any number of coins.
If the number gets such that it justifies it, I can use my UPS account. I get roughly 50% off, so ballpark £35 - £40 delivery to US, with express delivery. And I trust it 100%. End to end with just 1 company. Insurance is 1% of stated value, but with physical cryptos, I generally just put spot of the metal values (but would be happy to do whatever was needed)

Elianite, if you want to use the pic for the encyclopedia, thats all good as well Surprised noone else has stepped up saying they have one of these bad boys - whether for sale or not. Makes me think more rare than I first thought, or in the hands of people who may not 'really' know what they have, and who arent active 'coiners'. The distribution channels for these were not the normal for cas coins - generally meet in person, hand to hand exchange, potentially people from mainstream media - whether financial, technology, or just general news. I would love a link to any news articles / paper based media where these coins were pictured as part of the story, would add nice provenance to the coin. If anyone has one, I would appreciate it. |
