Hi everyone ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I just started out in 1337 and I'm currently staking this coin on POSWallet which is a online wallet service with staking. I currently only have a few thousand coins but I plan to buy more once I get the desktop wallet. Right now that's going to have to wait until I get a desktop computer, as I only have a laptop and I don't have much space left as I'm staking a few other coins. I'm glad to be part of this great community ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Welcome and thanks for informing me about POSwallet.com , I wasnt familiar with that service. I'll check it out and list it in the ANN as others have stated already, there will be a halving soon. im also planning to have all the next halvings hardcoded in this new wallet at a set time interval. i was thinking every 3 months. what do you guys think about this?
Great idea! Any minimum PoS rate in mind? If you need any help, you know where to contact me ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Cheers, Banzai Thanks man. maybe we (mostly you ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) ) could hardcode the next 2 halvings already in the next release and the remaining ones after ~6 months? this will give us an opportunity to modify a few things if needed at that time. as others have stated already, there will be a halving soon. im also planning to have all the next halvings hardcoded in this new wallet at a set time interval. i was thinking every 3 months. what do you guys think about this?

If you need any help, you know where to contact me ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Cheers, Banzai wow amazing help for another dev and a hero member i think halving will bring some rise up in the price so better to hold some coins inside my trading wallet good luck dev and hope to see some progress from this project. yeah hes an amazing guy and a great addition to the team. Thanks and good luck with trading ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Im looking into organizing a monthly raffle for a triple A Game like Overwatch, Doom, TotalWar: Warhammer etc etc. i'll talk to some of my gamer friends to see which other games are popular at the moment. i guess no more 1 sats coins... finally people smartened up this coin has much more use than other coin that are similar supply at a higher price just hope the dev decides to do something about the high inflation then we are on our way to 100 sats yeah im glad to see that theres some movement in the price and bigger volume. i think i even saw a ~1 BTC buy at 2 on c-cex but it got dumped on pretty quick as others have stated already, there will be a halving soon. im also planning to have all the next halvings hardcoded in this new wallet at a set time interval. i was thinking every 3 months. what do you guys think about this? we also got added to cryptopia.co.nz ... well kinda. we're not listed in the BTC market yet, Ive contacted them and they replied that they will list 1337 in the BTC market after they see some consistent volume in the other markets for some time. Let's see how it plays out. I also noticed that the diff went sky high, it even hit 200+! Don't forget to recombine your blocks and use the setstakesplitthreshold command ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Thank you for your patience and ongoing support guys!

Do you think you could maybe get some origin and blizzard games please ?
yes but 1337 has a very fragile economy atm. if we can get listed on bigger exchanges i will consider adding games and items with higher price tags. most prices you see here are heaviliy subsidized and i cant afford to do that with more expensive items. I for one have no issue paying full price so long as it helps 1337 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) the transfers will be helpful to stimulate activity. ok lemme know which games youre interested in and i'll see what i can do for you ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Not sure about this but I think Prohashing mines Stablecoin. They have a Stablecoin block explorer running. Since my mining system is not accessible by me at this time, I bought a Gridseed for about $25. I will set it up in a couple of weeks. It should keep the blockchain updated.
Afterall, the network hashrate is about 10 Mh/s and as many as 10 nodes connecting to the Stablecoin wallet. With few blocks being mined, not sure how that is.
ah yes youre right! thats good news. i noticed that they mine quite a few blocks every day but sometimes the blocks are far apart.

It appears that Cryptopia adjusted their prices according to the recently increased DOT/BTC value. This is great news for us because now we get 1337 listed on there ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fpuu.sh%2FpR2zF%2F0d2a688dfa.png&t=663&c=W8GYLz02M4t0kw) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fpuu.sh%2FpR2Ew%2F554d5e0639.png&t=663&c=5Y-pni2H1vLtfw) Thanks to all of you who voted for 1337!

hey guys im still here. im a bit late with the new wallet/halving but i wanted to wait till after the bitcoin halving because i expect things to get wild if/when btc pumps again. i'll contact BanzaiBTC about this. I was indeed thinking of doing a coinswap to reduce the supply and introduce the reduced apr % at the same time but sadly it will cost 1.5 BTC to do a swap on c-cex which is too much imho. so we will have to find a way to make it work as it is... as others have said before, its important that we get the word out there about our coin, especially to people who are into gaming since the stake2play project plays a keyrole. i will set aside some funds for this purpose. however, before we start doing any big promotions i think i should at least have a website ready to direct the traffic to. i also found a webdev to help with the webshop so that shouldnt take too long either. i also saved some funds to offer some other items to you guys when the webshop is ready. thanks for your ongoing support guys! oops almost forgot: https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_1337/

well we all know why this is happening to almost every coin. so have some patience and dont panic and we will all be fine. anyone remember what happened the last time btc mooned? alts went.. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) well im not trying to panic but if theres no buy support i cant do much on the development side either. also, people are most likely gonna stack their sells at 1 satoshi in the time coming so even after the halving of btc its will take a good amount of btc to go up from there ever again... but yeah, patience is a virtue i guess

Ouch. Buy orders have pretty much dried up @ Yobit and C-Cex ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) yes they got dumped on during the weekend. before the weekend there was 1.4 btc buy order on yobit alone but it got slammed. i wish we could ffwd to a few months after the btc halving... its killing the alts

It appears that many supporters are giving up on this coin. Will it take a return of Artos to garner interest?
He probably decided to either just disappear or is supporting another coin. I read some indications in the past that he was one of the developers of Namecoin. Maybe that is were his support is.
In late 2013, Artos provided the 1.5 Stablecoin wallet update and global marketing which caused Stablecoin's price to skyrocket to 650,000 satoshi.
What say it happens again.
those were very different times, altcoin wise. also, SBC was aiming to be the very first anonymous coin but Artos couldnt deliver what he promised (failed twice at least). there are some old threads/forums/msg's archived somewhere. after reading those and the lack of interest in this thread i cut my loses. ive been buying lots at 10 satoshi on cryptopia though so 650k sats would be nice if it ever happend again...

I think hoping to sell 30mil at 10 sat is a bit optimistic. It has been trading at 1 sat for quite a while now. It is not often a coin will do 200%+ so expecting 1000% is a bit too much. Other holders will try to cash in before it gets to 10 sat, as we are seeing. What sort of time span are you expecting before you maybe sell that 30 mil ?
true, probably a bit too optimistic under current conditions but for now that would be the only way for me to get 1337 on bittrex. 1337 hit 5 sats on yobit yesterday for a short while and i see lots of buy orders today. TBH i dont like keeping that amount of 1337 on any exchange, i'd rather keep it safe and staking in my wallet. On another note, i found a great wordpress gaming theme, you can see the demo at http://stake2play.com/ . As you can see it has a blog, forum and webshop, all under one 'roof'. For now its loaded with demo data but its being worked on. I would like to organize some kind of fundraising event for https://www.facebook.com/OneMoreStoryGames/posts/547933082046057 ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fpuu.sh%2FpuJXi%2Fd866584602.png&t=663&c=Z45lxLLq5-1fLg) I got in touch with them on twitter and theyre very excited because its the first time they will use bitcoin and/or other alts, as you can see here https://twitter.com/1337Foundation/status/743119731792695296![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fpuu.sh%2FpuKhb%2F5797bdb736.png&t=663&c=xfr98gMnKfDiPg) more updates will be posted later

I'm looking forward to seeing 1337 on bittrex, for now I'm staking my coins.
yes thats probably the best thing to do atm ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I got in touch with C-cex's owner and we are working to get 1337 out of maintenance there. Should be fixed soon

guys im really trying to make this work for everyone that has invested in 1337. times are tough now for altcoins in general so it will be a challenge to thrive (or even to survive) at this point. just know that whatever may come, i will do my best to make this work. IMHO getting on Bittrex could give the coin more room to grow without us getting too worried about surviving.

Good volume of over 1 BTC on Yobit so far today. Those sell walls are holding it back though. If they get removed we might see a good price rise.
1337's pre-Bittrex Crowdpump has started ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I placed 30M at 10 satoshi on yobit to pay for the sponsored listing on Bittrex
