yes but 1337 has a very fragile economy atm. if we can get listed on bigger exchanges i will consider adding games and items with higher price tags. most prices you see here are heaviliy subsidized and i cant afford to do that with more expensive items.

great! and yes, technically its not called mining but staking and you will receive a reward of 1.8% per day. depending on the amount of coins you have in your wallet it can take longer than a day but eventually you will receive your stake reward. feel free to ask anything you want btw, its nice to see some new stakers for 1337

thats weird, i just checked my node thats hardcoded in the wallet and its running fine with 78 connections. so you should be able to connect to it unless your anti-virus/firewall is blocking connections maybe?

you could try creating a 1337.conf file and put this in it "addnode=212.24.106.51"

i think the script gets stuck sometimes, it doesnt update transfers and the amount needed for the next winner

thanks for your input guys. i paid for the first week and setup of the marketing and promotions service. they are involved with some pretty big names so i think they can expand our reach to a much bigger audience. hopefully the community will grow bigger and more people will get into 1337.

About Cryptopia, yes would be nice to get listed there, theres not a whole lot of volume there but it might help to get more people into 1337. Last weeks paid votes winner got in for pretty cheap, maybe we can try to do the same. im not 100% sure but i believe that coins that have 2m votes in total get listed so the 2 coins at the top of the paid votes currently will be listed and removed from the list? lets keep an eye on it. Bleutrade might also be a good one to get listed on.

Im currently in negotiations with a crypto marketing and promotions service. they have an impressive portfolio and i think they will do a good job at getting the good word of 1337 out there. im dedicated to make this project work but cant focus on all aspects at the same time. ive got people helping me with all kinds of stuff but some things just take time. webshop is being worked on, more games are being bought, webgames are also being tested, lots of things are going on with this coin... still, it looks like we have some problems cause the price is tanking hard...

if the total supply is the problem we can try to fix that too. i personally own 10% of the supply, 20% is owned by a very good friend and part of the team who has been supporting the coin from the start... and at least an additional 10-15% procent is owned by stakers that i know or friends of friends. what im trying to say is that almost half of the current supply is off market and in hands of people that wont dump their holdings to destruct the market... IMHO the supply should NOT be a problem.

also, 1337 is not some corporate coin thats backed by huge funding or anything. everything has its price... from new wallet release, to new graphics, logo's, games, translations, giveaways, blockexplorer etc etc... on top of that there will be a 0.1 btc fee every week now for advertising and promoting. i shouldnt have to worry how to pay for these things when im holding 230M 1337  for development costs of the project....right?

so what else could be the problem? the fact that 1337 is only listed on 3 small exchanges maybe? well that can be fixed too right? but its going to take some team work to accomplish that. i dont think bittrex will list 1337 for free, it costs 3 BTC to get added plus i need to get a Proof of dev certificate. with 1337 at 1 sat that would need more 1337 than i own currently but with 1337 at 10 sats it would cost me 30M coins 'only' . Im willing to sell that amount of coins at that price to get it added on Bittrex. it would be similar to a crowdfunding campaign and a healthy incentive to buy the coins, even for just the traders on the exchanges who are chasing the latest pumps and dumps. i could put 15M for sale on yobit and c-cex at 10 sats, once they would have been sold i would pay bittrex their fee? im just trying to brainstorm with you guys, trying to find out if im doing something wrong and/or if measures need to be taken to save the project. i'll have a talk with bittrex to see what the options are and will post updates when available.

i asked the game dev to increase the rewards in 1337 but that needs some coding and he said he would work on it next week. at the moment the game pays out the same value in btc for all 3 coins on there, soon 1337 will pay out the highest value.

I need help with 1337's Stake2Play webshop and offer a nice bounty in 1337 as reward. I would prefer to run it on WP E-commerce or OpenCart. Some items are digital downloads like game codes, others are services and dropshipping.
