The blockchain explorer has recently experienced some problems so the number may be not really correct or you have created yourself an own fork which is bad As far as I can see, the block explorer provides the right outcome for Inves address. I think there's been a very common misconception, Inves have checked a single address on block explorer, instead the wallet displays the total of all his addresses. As a general method for testing if you are in the main chain, look at the number of one of the last blocks shown on block explorer. Then in your wallet, in the console, impart the command "getblockhash" and the block number, for example: getblockhash 7218 Result: 21486276aad5101b792be575d74c5243806aada689eb4733957921ff1b716fb3 The value shown, must match the hash of block on block explorer, which in the case shown, you can see here: http://64.57.133.230:3015/block/21486276aad5101b792be575d74c5243806aada689eb4733957921ff1b716fb3 |

Is it possible to add the option of locking per staking bracket? it could be maybe with a drop down list with options ranging from unlimited to the current brackets - 256 days, 128 days etc
and of course once it reaches the max locked days it will automatically unlock and be ready for staking.
what do you think?
A kind of "lock until", as I understand it. I seem to recall that of this it had spoken in the early stages with PressTab, but maybe at that time was not a priority. PS: Hi! I am another of those who write about very infrequently.  |

That error has been corrected in the next version, so, IMHO you should try
to update the your wallet to the latest version.
I got version v1.0.0.0-g-Beta, where can i find/download a new version of the wallet?? The wallet on the OP is also version 1.0.0.0-g-beta. The version number has not been updated, even on GitHub. The latest version of the wallet, which you can find in the OP, it has two additional tab, showing some statistics and a kind of block explorer, very rudimentary. So if your wallet, has these two tabs, then it is updated, otherwise it is obsolete. |

My wallet is not syncing, it's stuck on block 5012, i got 16 connections but still it is stuck for almost 24 hours. When i remove everything (except wallet.dat of course) it syncs fast until block 5000 and then after a couple of hours it get stuck on block 5012 and stay there. Any one else got this problem??? This seems to be the result of a problem, present in the initial source code, due to a zero missing. That error has been corrected in the next version, so, IMHO you should try to update the your wallet to the latest version. |

I would also really like a more dressed down pure Staking wallet that could run on the PI2 nav wallet is kind of a recouces hog.
(PI2 would allow people to keep it staking 24/7)
For a Pos coin Imo you cant really go lower then 12% a year if u want to keep people motivated to keep staking.
I have no direct experience with Raspberry or other stake-box, but it is interesting theme to explore. I guess you are referring to the version of the wallet without the QT GUI, right? Unfortunately I think the heaviness at runtime, is an indirect effect of the large number of blocks that are in the block chain now. IMHO, to solve this problem, it could take a deep rewriting of the architecture of the wallet, a work of high engineering. PS: Maybe the new Odroid XU4, having the double of memory than RPI2 could be a better choice. |

Usual graphics, now you know them.  Currently the average time of the blocks is around 12 seconds. It should be noted that in the last few days I have seen a large number of blocks orphans, of about 40,000 blocks observed 5527 have become orphans, about 13%. With respect to the chart below, I warn you that the data on which it is based are related to several hours ago. In the hours after my wallet was closed and I could not record data in real-time.  Even here there are no change, the black sheep continue their slip in future, now they are at around 150 seconds in the future, even when they are sheared and lighter, they are always black sheep. |

There was some mis communication with yobit.... I think i got i wrong about 7 hours ago the count was 5053/10000 So give away past 50%.... By the looks of it 1000 drops given a day Hi! I have a curiosity, the stakes that are presumably generated by Yobit, from the sum of 10000 Drop intended for free distribution, such as the stake in the block # 100, they are to be considered as a reward for the work done by Yobit, or stakes automatically recharges funds for free coins? The command, getinfo, should normally provide this information, but in that routine is missing this line: obj.push_back(Pair("moneysupply", ValueFromAmount(pindexBest->nMoneySupply))); In theory, there should now be: "blocks" : 1407, "moneysupply" : 11900.10643000 That would be very helpful if the Dev wanted to add that line which is present in many standard wallets, in the next release. PS: In OP is not indicated the Block time, it seems should be 2 minutes. |

The first chart shows (in step of 12 H) the trend of the last weeks of the average PosDif, the interval between the blocks, and the percentages of the blocks that have a time antecedent also to their previous block.  The current average of block's interval time is variable, near 12-14 seconds. Now, the blocks's timeoffset chart.  In the top side, there is the trace related to one week ago, on the low side there are the data related to the last 12 hours. As you can see, the time offsets of block are more close, better than a week ago. The isolated peak on the right side is the small group of black sheep dispersed, which are generating blocks in the future, and continue to go away. And this is all folks. |

My advice is always the same, if your system time is accurate, but the
command "getinfo", reports for timeoffset a value far to zero, try
to restart your wallet and after a while, check it again.
out of curiosity what would an ideal timeoffset be would that be zero? I was just looking and mine says 22. Thanks I love the curiosity, I consider it the fuel of progress.  In an ideal world, all computers would have their time reference perfectly synchronized between them, so their timeoffset would be exactly zero. This is not a perfect world, and although there are atomic clocks as a reference of great precision, and in the operating systems there are tools to keep synchronized the systems, often they are used very loosely, for example once a week when the computer has already accumulated a quite offset, or worst not used at all. In my case, I have a PC and I forced to resynchronize every 4 hours, and with a wallet (almost) always active, the present timeoffset of my wallet is -3. Synchronize every 4 hours is somewhat exaggerated, but when you want to do measurements, the first thing to do is to always double check your instrument. The process that the wallet used to arrive at a time shared, is based on the timeoffset, and the system to calculate it, said in "few" words is more or less this: The wallet when connecting to another peer, exchange information of the respective time, and each one calculates the relative offset from the other. If the ip of the other peer has already been seen, nothing is done. Otherwise, his timeoffset is put in a table, and if the table gets to 200 items, the oldest item is discarded. A copy of this table is sorted according to the offset, and it is taken the value of the central item, and that will be the new timeoffset of the allet. The heart of this process, it can be found in the function AddTimeData, it is in the file utils.c, and is used in the standard code of many different coin wallet. Finally, some comment lines in the code, already present in some older versions of bitcoin wallet, would seem to suggest that this process of using the median time was to be only a temporary stopgap, pending a more precise. I believe that this system, reasonable, has been designed for networks with a higher number of peers, in which case the table would be continuously updated. But IMHO, in a network with few nodes and always the same, I think that shows its limits and can be easily influenced, or continue to consider data which can be very outdated. Restart the wallet is a simple way to clear the table, and acquire new offsets of other peers. But it can give good result, or bad. Taking a look at this table in my wallet, online for nearly a week, now it consists of only 51 elements and values are from -71 to +81, this is definitely not an ideal world, but it seems that most of the other wallet has an offset from between -6 and -1 seconds, more reasonable. So if your wallet shows a timeoffset of 22, and your PC is perfectly synchronized with the rest of the world's clock, then IMHO probably should try to restart your wallet. Here are two diagrams relating to pos dif. The first you already know, and shows the trend of the last weeks of the average PosDif, the interval between the blocks, and the percentages of the blocks that have a time antecedent also to their previous block. As you can see there was a little worsening in the last hour, and the PosDiff is again dropped and with it the interval between the blocks, now near 11 seconds.  This time the "whale" has gone from a timeOffset very close to zero, it held this condition for several days, but now it is about to -35 seconds. Even others have moved, but their movement is less noticeable. My advice is always the same, if your system time is accurate, but the command "getinfo", reports for timeoffset a value far to zero, try to restart your wallet and after a while, check it again. For those curious, below is another chart type. The graph shows how many blocks have been generated in a period of 12 hours, and they had a certain timeoffset compared with real time, and how many were addresses to generate them.  In the top side, there is the trace related to one week ago, on the low side there are the data related to the last 12 hours. The isolated peak on the right side is as some have imagined, the small group of black sheep dispersed (group A), generating blocks in the future and that day by day increasingly moves away. |

hi,
my wallet is pretty unresponsive... anyone observing the same issue? any idea what to do? it freezes anytime i try to unlock or send some coins.... is it the huge blockchain?
Long ago someone had already happened, but I do not remember the detail. Check if you have enough free space on the system disk, and you have enough free memory. If necessary, move the file debug.log, if it has reached considerable size. As an interim measure there is an option that temporarily inhibits the activities of staking. You can put it on the command line of the wallet: -staking=0 or on a new line in its .conf: staking=0 If the above helps, and your wallet.dat reached considerable size, maybe it's time to think of a migration of your coins to a wallet.dat brand new. Obviously then remember to remove the option anti staking. |

Is it possible that "our whale" restarted his wallet at the same time we entered our 3rd year?
Nice try, but do not correspond to reality. He \ She \ It was active both before and after, and has maintained roughly the same time offset until I checked a few hours ago. Here is the graph of the Pos-Diff and the interval between the blocks.  As you can note the event linked to the whale took place many days ago, while the new increase in PosDiff started on Sunday. For the record, the block 2102401 was generated at 2015-10-18 11:48:10 GMT. |
