Had to really put some thought into the total impact this partnership will have. There are so many different directions this could go. The
biggest factor will be the costs to make the exchange moving from NAV to BTC / other currency and how to best utilize it.

...

**Interested to see what everyone else thinks about this particular topic and how the merger will have the most impact.

The DevTeam in this last weeks is doing really great things.
Sometimes even too big [1]  Cheesy Cheesy

I agree with you about the Polymorph, things can go very differently.

The difference can be made by so many factors, some macroscopic, quality of
business cooperation, type of technical integration, overlap of services and markets,
many other factors could be instead just the details, for example, fees, operating
times, use of blockchain and many others.

Not to mention that the other competitors certainly will not stand idly and will copy or clone the best solutions.

Not having been able to receive news directly from the conference, well
when I read the Flying_triangle message, I was a bit perplexed.

Only by having a more complete picture I think we can get us a opinion.

Apart from that, I would like to take this opportunity to thanks Juguelo and Colvano,
not only for the recap of the event, but also for the work and the guides sent in recent weeks.

[1]
Do not worry, it's just a play on words, I'm referring to some blocks there are a few days ago
in blockchain of unusual size in bytes, due to some change of the new wallet 3.9.

723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - ANONYMOUS TECH. LAUNCH NOV 1 on: December 15, 2016, 02:06:52 PM

it is already added at c-cex but you can not buy for there are no offers, at yobit is the same, no offers, the open trades are at cryptopia where you can find some expensive NAV.

About C-Cex, his Nav wallet is properly synchronized, or is even halfway?

I see this in the corner of the wallet info:

Quote
NavCoin [NAV]
POW: 0.00 , POS: 550976.65
Ver.: v3.9.0.0-UT-ZAH-HA-DEZ-BIN
Block: 575980, Sup: 60346007

So basically alcurex's acting like the middle men and executing trades on your behalf.  As an example, i use it. I cant not trade on polo as i am from a US state that is banned from using polo. i use alcurex and buy coins in their global market.

https://alcurex.com/#NAV-BTC

I should note that being Alcurex an exchange of the second level, an intermediary, in case of technical hiccups,
or it is delayed for any reason, if you are not careful can happen little disasters, placing orders at prices that are
unrealistic.

To be clear, this is not a specific complaint on Alcurex, delays can be anywhere at any time.

IMHO, I think Alcurex is very useful but everyone should keep at the same time also an eye on its source, Polo.

Hi, Gas, good to see you.

I was really hoping that you could come back before another ThunderClap campaign, I
can only imagine how you'll be glad to do your part to make another great thunder
clap campaign.   Grin Grin Grin

Jokes aside, How are you?

What were you referring indicating the "Distribution List"?

umm, is it me, or wasn't c-cex dropped due to low volume? and/or maybe late update to wallet upgrades? maybe i am thinking of other exchanges, but i thought it was this one...

Perhaps you're thinking at... Safe-Cex?

Notice: this is not a proposal of any kind

I checked how much is the worth of 25 NZD at current exchange rates in euro, approximately 16.8.
On Litebit it seems to me that instead, the 500 NAV can be sold at about 13:8 EUR.
There I do not see many explanations on the cash withdrawal process, fee, limits or other requirements for the user identification.
Someone knows something more?

Hey Remy,

I just checked litebit and 500 NAV can be sold for 16.8€ at litebit. So same same but different ;-)

Strange, it must be a very volatile exchange rate.

What I see (a few minutes ago), are here:
http://s14.postimg.org/tj1u2gp9t/LB_Buy_Nav_20161130.png
http://s17.postimg.org/440toi3an/LB_Sell_Nav_20161130.png

In brief: 16:45 euro to buy 500 Nav, while selling will get 14:26.

And as promised, the details of the Nav Coin event:

Quote from: Nav Coin

The first 50 Android users to enter the venue will be gifted 500 NAV each (~$25) to spend over the bar as we showcase the Nav Coin Point of Sale offering.

...

Followed by the live streamed announcement of Nav Coin's feature road map for 2017.

I would recommend you to record the streaming for people who are not physically present at the event or live in other timezone.

It will also at benefit of 50 lucky winners and other clients present at bar... because since the donation of 25 NZD can only be
spent there (in drinks), the next day that event could become for them the most forgotten presentation in the history of cryptocoins.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

NZ team, all of you are well and in safe?   Shocked

Yes, we are safe. Thanks for the concern. We are all at the northern part of the islands, far away from the earthquakes.

 Smiley

Really very happy and relieved to read that all of you are safe.

When I read the first news, and I have seen on geonet that there was a dozen of strong aftershocks,
it does not take much imagination to picture the damage suffered in the areas closer to the epicenter,
and how the spirit of people can be worn.

My best wishes to all the inhabitants of New Zealand.

Mr Remy_5

Always making contributions that help Navtech!
Where have you been mate?

For Newbies:

Remy has been helping a lot to the community...lot's of technical knowledge about QT wallets, blockchain and such...
And a very acid sense of humor... Perfect for NAV Coin...

And I also try to limit myself:  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I'm always around here, mostly for sentimental reasons, but due to
the little time I read the post a couple of times a week, so I'm
always out of time to write something useful.

Many members are becoming more expert, talented and good at helping each
other.
Apart this, fortunately the cryptoid Block Explorer works very well, indeed
there are a lot of sophisticated information on it.

You do not need my presence. The community NavCoin is doing well. Smiley

And about doing well., I do not remember if I've already done this before,
but I would like to thank Pakage and Wasda who have donated to the whole
community, a sort of concreteness.

In the past the NavCoin was a piece of bits, a completely virtual currency,
which could only be traded with other pieces of bits, other crypto currencies.

Now that there is a coin-payment processor that accepts the NavCoin,
suddenly the NavCoin become a real currency, which can be exchanged for real goods.

Then the NavCoin itself has become something concrete, not just a virtual thing,
but a real thing with a real value on real world.

It may seem like a detail, obvious, but well... it seems to me very significant.

Yes GASFORCE  (nice one Remy!) has made a habit of playing cheerleader and then inventing some kind of crisis (my cats brothers dog needs a pacemaker etc.) and dumping.

Our friend Gas has the habit of doing the cheerleaders in an exaggerated way,
and even write in a manner as if it were part of the DevTeam, but perhaps
in this case you're merging the memory with those of another hero with very
similar nickname that starts equally with "hash".
A user who seems to have a lot of bad luck.

Being similar names could be easily confused, or maybe I'm wrong,
it's been many months ago.

733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - ANONYMOUS TECH. LAUNCH NOV 1 on: November 12, 2016, 07:30:42 PM
Hash, seriously are you on drugs? or maybe not enough drugs?

Naahhhh,   I think it's probably due to too much gas.  Wink

He definitely needs to go outside and breathe clean air.  Grin Grin

Wow what a Journey we have had. I want to make this my Final post and say Goodbye!

hype + dump + bye ?

This is not the first time.

I think we should thank HF101 for remember again to all of us, what could
be one of the silver rules in crypto:
Higher the hype, more deeper is the will to dump.

About this rule, as He often liked to write: "I have 0 Doubt".

A month ago, He had described himself as a "Very proud Farther.", well
I'm not good at English, so at first I wasn't sure about the
meaning of the word.

There was supposed to be a small error, but what was the wrong letter,
the "R" or "H"??
May be meaningless, or more probably could be one of those small errors
that reveal the darker truths about the writer.

Suddenly, this formed my mind an image of HF101 that unfortunately I
can't erase.

Since that day, and I fear for the rest of my days, I'll think to him
only as "Gasforce, the proud farter, the self-propelled Viking".

735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - ANONYMOUS TECH. ● ANDROID WALLET LIVE ● NAV 2.1 SOON on: October 09, 2016, 10:11:21 AM
A 5th transaction and same issue.  Huh

But 4 transactions in a row? Between the 1st two was about 11 hour gap. Then about a 12 hour gap between 2nd and 3rd. Then a 5 minute gap between 3rd and 4th.

Do you have checked if the system time of your computer is currently on the accurate time?

736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - ANONYMOUS TECH. ● ANDROID WALLET LIVE ● NAV 2.1 SOON on: October 09, 2016, 12:10:29 AM
Wow page 1000, what a journey.

WOW indeed !!!

An incredible and at the same time incontestable milestone.

Congratulations to DevTeam, Foundation and all supporter.

737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pascal Coin: P2P cryptocurrency without need of historical operations on: August 16, 2016, 12:10:27 PM
@PascalCoin
When mining should cpu load be 100% ?
I only get 50%...

Probably the 50% is the 100% of a single cpu core.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pascal Coin: P2P cryptocurrency without need of historical operations on: August 16, 2016, 12:06:38 PM

Some other explanation would be useful.

I would think that most correct answer is "d". I've been developing and testing during months. Client App has some bugs, of course, but I think Kernel is Ok.
Idea started at 2013, when I discovered Bitcoin, but I was not a C developer, so I decided to search how to make a new Cryptocoin more easy to use and, of course, writting full source code in Pascal.
The final concept, writted in the White Paper of Pascal Coin, was born 6 months ago.

My intention is to grow with it... If you can, thanks for helping.

Now it's much better, thank you.

I was hoping more in a response of type A or B, because being a different
type of blockchain, it must be checked and tested on the field.
IMHO, A new type of blockchan should be put under stress up to the point of
rupture, with all kinds of generic attack, or specifically targeted on its peculiarities.
Do it on a "purely virtual" currency or in a testcoin allows to make everything without
worries and remorse, or damage to anybody, eventually also changing structure, parameters
or other details of the blockchain along the way.

But if each PascalCoin is already a real and immutable thing, and in the future
will have a concrete value, to avoid losses for the existing users, these tests
and changing are much more difficult to do, if not impossibles, and need a lot of
extra cautions.

Apart this, the project is interesting, and there is a lot of work to do.
I have used the Delphi for a while more then a dozen years ago, so I'm very rusty,
when I have put together a working development environment, I hope I can be helpful,
but having little time, I can not promise anything.

739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pascal Coin: P2P cryptocurrency without need of historical operations on: August 15, 2016, 12:16:32 PM

The design of this new currency, which it wants to be:
a) A "simple" proof of concept that it is an end in itself?
b) A limited prototype, you need to prepare something different,
which you have already started to design?

c) The advanced stage of a defined project, but not yet totally evolved?
d) Or this is in effect the final stage (or almost all) of the project, then
a valid coin ready to be used for real, and to land to the Exchanges?

Or e) I just want to buy a Pizza for 10000 Pascal Coins ;-)

I like people who think out of the sheet.  Grin Grin

But to be honest this reply does not help me figure out if it is appropriate
to reserve time and resources to this project.
Some other explanation would be useful.

PS:
Be careful not to starve in the meantime.  Wink

740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency without need of historical operations... PascalCoin is the first? on: August 15, 2016, 12:12:28 PM

I want to know if there is another cryptocurrency that doesn't need blockchain to check balance and/or double spend... PascalCoin is designed to use the Blockchain only to generate and modify a "Safe Box" where all accounts and their balance are inside.

Maybe there is some affinity even with "HEAT", but I do not know it well:
