841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has nothing to do with crime on: August 13, 2023, 08:56:50 PM
Illiteracy and ignorance make people say what ever they like about Crypto,it is normal for them to express the feelings about it but not to talk I'll about it because this is what has really made some many people live bouyantly.I wish they understood that Bitcoin is not related to crime in any way,it is a legit and legal way of making money through investment, either long term or short term. This question of whether Bitcoin is crime related was asked by someone I know sometimes ago,and it only takes time for you to explain in details what it's all about before they will believe you.But if they don't believe after explanation, then there is nothing to worry about because you owe no one explanation.
One will wonder what the activities in bitcoin are that gives them the money, but it is left for you to tell them the things one does that makes the money available which also gives them and edge over other financial sources.
I agree with you, the main factor is that bitcoin is legal under regulation in several countries and if the impact of bitcoin can be dark activities to launder money or opportunities to commit criminal acts then of course regulation of the use of bitcoin will not be legalized in developed countries, so that explanation should have been enough to explain to them that they have a negative opinion against the use of bitcoin, if they don't accept our explanation then there will be no problem and everyone generally knows the use of bitcoin is not for criminal acts under any circumstances.
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really not for everyone? on: August 13, 2023, 08:33:42 PM
When telling people about bitcoin, always make it very clear the advantages and disadvantage of investing in Bitcoin. Let them know the volatility rate of the market and tell them it isn't a must to buy immediately that they can buy with dollar cost average through accumulating.

Don't force anybody to invest in Bitcoin, just teach them and in the future they'll come back if they don't invest when you were telling them because bitcoin is a type of investment that grows on people with time as they'll see the profits they could have made if they bought.
I agree, we must clearly explain everything related to understanding crypto investment to beginners, we don't only explain the benefits but don't hide the high risk of loss so that they can anticipate using reserve funds for bitcoin investment in new portfolios.

I have tried several of the same approaches but their response is not ready to enter into crypto investments which have a high volatility level, they need time to make decisions about managing their finances, but I am sure they will become part of the bitcoin holders in the future without anyone coercing them because they already know the details of managing crypto funds.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 13, 2023, 07:41:54 PM
I think it will be easier for Adesanya to finish the battle and there will be unimaginable surprises later.
Even though Strickland is more favored than Dricus, Adesanya himself is a fighter who doesn't give up easily to be able to hold on to the championship belt in his class and destroy anyone who wants to drop his title.
Don't call him the Chinese champion because now that title is no longer valid because Adesanya has become the UFC champion for the Middleweight class. Roll Eyes
Whoever Adesanya's opponent will definitely experience increased emotional feelings but precisely all of that can burn Adesanya's fighting spirit when in the octagon.
I haven't seen the distinctive style of the Adesanya fighter since the last two fights against Alex Pereira, even though Adesanya won in the last fight but he is still recorded in history having one unfinished defeat against Alex Pereira back in 2017. But I am surprised that Strickland's next challenger will be against Adesanya and based on his history he lost against Alex Pereira and there are other defeats that it will be difficult to predict his chances of winning.

As @bittraffic said, the Pre-conference will be more interesting to watch than a real fight in the octagon as they will be fighting for recognition as the best fighter position, but I hope Strickland doesn't talk as much nonsense as he did during the UFC 276 Pre-conference, if he doesn't prove his ability to defeat Adesanya.
844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: August 13, 2023, 07:00:22 PM
Yes because as person like me, who loves sports will be one of those people who are probably be addicted in sports betting for example because at first we love sports and then sometimes we like to bet as well to show our support to the team. The only thing that I knew to stop being addicted is to have a discipline to ourselves , we have to limit our spending as much as we want it.
Your gambling behavior is not included in the category of gambling addiction because you only bet on your favorite sports team and usually a person has no more than 2 sports teams from all major football leagues, you can also limit spending in gambling, so gambling problems are easily handled without the help of others Otherwise, if you want to leave gambling activities because you support your favorite team, you don't have to have to bet on sports betting. There are many other activities that we can do to highlight the popularity of our favorite sports team, better than other teams.

But majority think about they are just wasting money for hiring those financial advisor since they also need to pay them. They didn't know that they can be save by those professionals and can help them manage their finances especially if they are the type of guy who act as one day millionaire when they receive a lot of money. For now to many people doesn't know about importance of those particular professional and maybe the lack of financial literacy leads for that outlook.
The millionaire gambler class needs financial advisors for better financial management to avoid using high funds for gambling, financial advisors will diversify your finances to limit the allocation of gambling funds and they will plan to use investment funds for passive profit. The function of having a personal financial advisor can help manage finances wiser to use funds for investments that are beneficial for the future, but you need to know that their work is not focused on dealing with gambling problems because they cannot control gambler behavior, if gamblers are already experiencing an addiction to impulsive gambling then having a personal financial advisor will not be beneficial for financial management.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: August 13, 2023, 05:32:02 PM
However, the AI twist is some next-level mojo! Though I'm skeptical about AI making casinos go broke, I'd be lying if I said I wasn’t a tiny bit envious of someone smart enough to use it to their advantage. Just imagine: a little digital buddy whispering in your ear, giving you the lowdown. But remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Game responsibly, folks
However the implementation of AI technology algorithms will not produce accurate sports betting predictions, AI technology provides all information instantly based on any question, but so far regarding the question "sports betting predictions" there is no answer, AI suggests we look for sports related sources to analyze several factors regarding match predictions and the conditions during the match are likely to change according to the game tactics and weather conditions so that the predicted results will not match expectations.
847  Economy / Economics / Re: Would You Consider Adding Bitcoin to Your Retirement Savings on: August 13, 2023, 03:58:55 PM
lucky that now we know bitcoin, especially in a bearish season like today, of course it's a good price to invest, so that later when mass adoption grows, of course this will make the value of bitcoin go up, especially like I'm a private employee, where there is no retirement from the company, even whenever you can get out of work, with bitcoin and there is still a lack of bitcoiners in the world, it is a great opportunity to join in
The price of bitcoin during bearish season is still relatively expensive even though the price is -50% from the previous ATH price, I just remember to be careful investing crypto from pension funds and make sure they know the risks before investing, they should diversify the pension fund to some other investments for gold, property and another investment for long term passive profit, I would allocate 30-40% for crypto investment.

A pension fund is the last salary given by the company in appreciation of your work, usually someone who has retired has no savings other than a pension fund, so you have to be wiser in financial management when making decisions to choose long-term investments.
848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or Why not? on: August 13, 2023, 03:10:19 PM
As Franktoshi said, like 2020, the covid pandemic has caused bitcoin to be severely dumped before we enter the 2021 bull season. So there is still a chance for bitcoin to drop to $20k again but it would take a big black swan similar to the covid pandemic or an economic crisis like 2022 to do that. Other than that, I can't think of any reason why bitcoin would drop to $20k again.

According to recent charts shared on social media, in 2023, we officially end the bear season and what we are experiencing is preparing for the bull season.

I don't think there are any other incidents that can drop the price to 20k again, the current global incident is facing inflation in various countries but whatever the case for inflation is not related to bitcoin, instead bitcoin provides the right solution to prevent the impact of inflation. The potential for other cases related to crypto may appear ahead of the halving period, such as the past binance US case or the top coin becoming a scam coin will affect the bitcoin market price, we will never know what will happen in the future.

We must manage the risk of loss to avoid unexpected incidents although some argue about the recovery period to prepare for the bullrun season.
849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or Why not? on: August 12, 2023, 08:39:03 PM
I think Bitcoin should drop to expected levels before it goes up. Because when the expectation is met, the increase will be more robust. But I don't think the price will drop below 20k. Because we left those times behind. As we get closer to the halving, the anticipation rises, but I wait for a solid correction in the price first.
We must know that every price movement scenario will not be the same every time before the previous halving, so even though they predict the price will fall significantly before the halving, it is not certain that this prediction must be trusted. Even though the price is dropping going forward but the market price position will not be below the expected 20k, the crypto market is currently trending positively with a fairly good market recovery from the previous 25k price, we just need to wait for the next bullish moment to reach 40k before the halving.

Quote
I wonder what predictions will hold up towards the end of the year. Negative news should not be made in the market. Good times await us towards halving.
My lowest price prediction until the end is 23-25k but if the positive trend persists then the price of 40k will be reached until the end of the year, I expect a positive market trend position until the end of this year because there is a high chance the market price will reach ATH after the halving.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had a time traveling machine, then? on: August 11, 2023, 10:57:56 PM
It's a good and understandable fantasy. A relatable what-if from you. Because same, I would love to go back in the past and buy as much btc as I can. However, it is what it is, we are here now and we grew organically. All we can do now is be smart with what we have and how we are going to let what we have to grow for our future. Sadly, as much as we want to have control of our past all we can have a hand on controlling is our future by being smart in the present.
I agree with you, anything related to the past is an experience that will never be repeated and discussion of time machines is just fantasy and illusion only exists in movies, the only thing that can be taken from the past is only experience to improve market analysis in the future.

We are not too late to start everything about bitcoin from now even without a time machine because we have studied the market cycles leading up to the halving every year from the past, so make the best decision to increase the bitcoin assets in the portfolio and we will be ready for the next bullish season.
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gas station payment with bitcoin. on: August 11, 2023, 10:15:59 PM
OP you should definitely post pictures of your gas station. Because promoting free bitcoins is definitely a good thing to do. And your business goals are great if I may say so your mind will definitely come through. If you can definitely manage the business then the future will be much better as you keep the bitcoin transactions going. Especially if you keep your bitcoins in a safe wallet because of the upcoming bitcoin halving. Of course you will get 2×-3× results if you deposit bitcoins of course if you can sustain the bitcoins.
I also thought the same thing to see pictures of gas stations and some customer activity when paying using bitcoin, media evidence is needed if he wants to prove the truth of the information that has been explained in this thread.

Actually it is not easy to add optional bitcoin payments because we have to ensure state regulations regarding the legalization of the use of bitcoin, if the legalization of bitcoin has not been stipulated in the latest regulations then we are dealing with the law if we add payment options via bitcoin even though even in tourist areas, but I make sure the state from the OP already has legalization regulations regarding bitcoin and congratulations to the OP for the very extraordinary initiative to increase cryptocurrency users.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 11, 2023, 09:58:16 PM
For those who make gambling to make money, this is a very ridiculous thing and this will be very detrimental for them, they can even spend all their assets on gambling. I agree with you if we think of gambling as a place to seek entertainment, this will benefit us if we experience victory and we can accept it if we experience defeat.
If someone positions gambling to get additional income from each bet then you behave badly in handling your gambling activities, the effect will bring all other finances to gambling and you cannot control yourself for every bet that has been placed in gambling. However, if we place gambling only for entertainment then we will not always be active in gambling games but only for betting on sports teams or favorite fighters, they also use the minimum betting funds because they are not aiming to get profit from the bet, they also anticipate losses if the results the bet didn't live up to expectations and they won't regret it if they lose from gambling.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 10, 2023, 08:04:55 PM
Conor McGregor is proposed to fight the right opponent in Michael Chandler as he is also on a loosing streak and the only win he has is against a wearing down Tony Ferguson and so is the reason he picked that fight against Chandler and then we might see the trilogy between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor and both of these fights will sell massively and then he will retire for good.
Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler's last fight history is even though Chandler's fight history is superior to 1 win in his last fighting career, but both of them have collected consecutive defeats and we have the reason why both of them are reportedly being set up for the first fight of Connor's return to the ring. I think they predicted the potential for a connor win to elevate his reputation in the next big fight.

Connor still has problems to finish the trilogy fight with Nate Diaz, the fight will probably be scheduled for the next fight, they have to determine the victory in the trilogy fight as the best fighter.
854  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 10, 2023, 07:25:54 PM
Some people are secretive by nature. Whether they are doing something legitimate or not, they will not want  share with people. Be it about relationships, travel or opportunities. Some people do not also say the type of work they do. If such a person becomes a gambler, he will not discuss it with anyone and I see no problem with it.
The major problem will be if by chance such a person becomes addicted, it will be difficult to be identified let alone to be cured.
Secretive people will find it difficult to know their habits, so if they are already addicted to gambling it will be difficult to cure because they do not dare to openly seek help from other people to deal with their problems except to undergo therapists, counselors and other assistance, finally they must be open so that their problems can be given a solution right before they get depressed as a result of not being able to control their gambling addiction.
However, everyone who is addicted to gambling has the potential to be cured and not related to closed nature, all problems can be overcome depending on the level of gambling addiction.
855  Economy / Economics / Re: How billionaires are really affecting the economy. on: August 09, 2023, 09:20:51 PM
It's a good thing when billionaires care for the little people who need help. They can create jobs and absorb more workers who are crammed into communities that really need jobs. The rate of unemployed people has recently increased. And this happens due to the lack of land for jobs and the high number of job applicants. thus causing more unemployment. So here the role of billionaires is needed if they really care about the grassroots. But somehow I feel that nowadays there are more rich people who only care about themselves without much concern for other people who are under them. Although not all of them are like that.
Social-minded billionaires are needed in the midst of social life because they have financial management for business development to create new job vacancies so that they can reduce unemployment, they also help provide business capital loans to the community but must meet the required criteria, so millionaires can have a positive influence on increasing economy to the community in addition to service options from the government. But most of the rich do not care about the economic fate of others and they choose to invest in assets rather than creating new jobs for other people.
856  Economy / Economics / Re: what do we thinking about investment target? on: August 09, 2023, 08:16:08 PM
Most governments barely care about people from the lower classes, they are left to suffer and survive on their own, and if they can't survive, they deserve to die as per the government officials of some countries. They would never think of increasing the minimum wage so that the poor population can have enough money to at least eat food twice a day with what they earn, all they care about earning money themselves and filling their own banks and pockets.

I know that first-world countries suffer from inflation and economic crisis as well, but they at least have minimum wages at a level that won't make people earning minimum wages starve to death or don't even get to have the basic necessities of their household fulfilled, that's the difference.
The government has not made any efforts to increase people's welfare against inflationary conditions, the government only complains about the impact of inflation causing state income to decrease significantly, but officials' salaries and benefits have no effect under any circumstances, the people are allowed to suffer when the effects of inflation are without making any proposals to increase the minimum wage so that people can prosper under conditions of inflation.

Government policies are not pro-people in any decision, so even though there is no inflation the government still has no plans to increase the minimum wage, I am of the opinion that certain countries do not prioritize the interests of the people, especially when elections are approaching, many political actors take advantage of the impact of inflation to recruit poor people to carry out plans to damage the reputation of political opponents, so that people are used as political tools because they are forced to accept offers from political actors to get costs for their living needs.
857  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if BTC won't see ATH again? on: August 08, 2023, 10:40:48 PM
If bitcoin just drops to a price below $20,000, you can be sure that everyone is competing to buy it. Why are they buying? because they believe that bitcoin will continue to increase every 4 years. So I agree with you that if bitcoin doesn't create ATH, then you can be sure that the crypto market is no longer in demand and is not just a falling market.Until now, there are still many who believe the bitcoin market will continue to shine, and there are still many who have become investors.
Of course, many investors will increase their investment if the bitcoin price drops below 20k again, meaning bitcoin has decreased -70% from the ATH price, the market predicts that there may not be a significant decline ahead of the halving period as the market recovers to reach the previous ATH price or potentially reach ATH after a few months of the halving period. Bitcoin will be able to reach ATH in the long term, although not necessarily in the halving period, many other factors will support an increase in bitcoin prices such as wider adoption of bitcoin use in several developed countries, and many other factors that will make achieving ATH even closer. So prepare bitcoin assets when the price is still low because we have no doubts about holding bitcoin in the long term, the history of bitcoin price movements has proven that the highest bitcoin price achievement never disappoints and the bitcoin price increases according to the ATH target we predicted.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: August 07, 2023, 08:59:47 PM
It's hard to monitor the children for all the time.Because they are exposure to the social media,So they come to know about the gambling at the earlier age.Taking care of the children is most important one, because gambling alone not give loss. They should have a capacity to accept the loss, the main reason for the children to keep away from the gambling is they will not have a capacity to handle the big loss.So keep the children in the eye of  us will help the people to keep the children from the gambling. The gambling had enough support from the people from the adult people, the big business man are enough for the gambling. They only know the worth of the gambling and handle both the profit and loss balanced.
Children under the age of 20 are still the responsibility of their parents to provide formal education and monitor their activities at all times so as to avoid negative problems that are not appropriate for the age of the children. However, the news of the case above has absolutely nothing to do with the age of the child, he is 22 years old and he is addicted to gambling but no one knows about it, he is very quiet and his best friend does not know he is very addicted to gambling, his best friend trusts him to provide an account PIN for withdrawal of funds sent from his parents and he also stole funds from his best friend.

Sad story, he shouldn't have killed himself just for that reason, even though the problem could have been solved if he was willing to pay off his friend's funds and apologize to his parents, but unfortunately he has ended his life in an embarrassing way.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: August 07, 2023, 08:24:43 PM
You can predict, of course, predict prices and also make an analysis of potential prices, but never make those predictions your main criterion in a long-term investment plan. Even if you believe that your analysis will pay off in the long term, but never put 100% of your budget in one fell swoop (lump sum).

Minimize investment risk with your own strategy and experience especially due to price volatility, so it will be very useful to better build your portfolio as a long term holder. No one knows how much it will price for sure, which is why minimize your risk.
Everyone has predictions with different patterns for long-term investments but we must have investment management to avoid high losses including prioritizing reserve funds to buy when prices are bearish, I have 25% reserve funds which will be added gradually to the portfolio if the market price drops below 25k, reserve funds will minimize the risk of crypto asset losses but we need to review market update news for consideration before using reserve funds, there are several factors that cause a decrease in market prices that must be avoided or it is not recommended to use reserve funds because the influence of these factors can cause prices to fall lower on subsequent market price movements. So always be careful in managing crypto investments and don't be influenced by other people's predictions.

The crypto market is very vulnerable to price volatility, so we must increase our investment strategy knowledge to reach an expert level to maximize crypto asset management, many new holders are not knowledgeable about investment management, causing panic over market movements and they are easily influenced by other people's predictions.
