You seem to have a thing about people going to court/prison. Are you from Interpol?

Hello, this is not a scam,    I can bring you to a small court for this topic

Go on then. Let us know how you get on.

As you wish,   come back here tonight

Is there any way to know whether I belong to anyone's trust list?

Yeah, go to your Trust Settings page and hit Ctrl + f and see how many times your name comes up.

This works only if the people on the default list (DT1 or DT2) or people who you have on your custom list trust you.

For example, if user#50000 not on my trust list, not on the DT list, will trust me it will be no show on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust, or do I missing something?

Yeah, you're right, I've just been using my method to quickly check how things are changing regarding my custom list.

Next one...

First off all Bitdeer doesnt pay you. The mining pool pays you every time u reach withdraw amount.

When and how do they deduct the maintenance charge? Every day or what?
847  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 10, 2019, 01:30:18 AM
I think hilarious is a no-brainer for DT1, unless there is a perceived conflict of interest with his moderation position.
philipma1957 is one of the most valuable members of the forum imo, whether that makes him DT1 material is another matter.
Tomatocage no. That "room mate" routine he pulled was a piss take.

848  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 09, 2019, 11:24:41 PM
I have a relatively short trust list that Lauda suggested a while back with a couple of modifications, and I'm going to just keep it as is for the time being.  I wouldn't mind eventually adding Jet Cash to it, since I do trust him and he's done quite a bit for newbies and the forum at no cost to himself.  Anybody opposed to that?

It's your list, feel free.
You can stick me on it too if you like, I'm a very nice chap and honest as the day is long.  Cheesy

Yes, it would.
That list also appears to be out of date as the knives are already out for zazarb, by the look of it, going from undisputed +2 on that list to -1 now, (and consequently struck thru and off DT1?) according to this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;dt
How does one find out where his 3 negatives came from?

It doesn't seem like this page lists all of the exclusions for some reason? Looks like Lauda has an exclusion, BitcoinPenny has an inclusion and I can't find anything else for zarzab.

Oh good, I thought it was just me. I wonder why that is then?
849  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 09, 2019, 11:14:16 PM
The lending scammers were on zero too. I guess with a negative from vod that would've pushed them positive if that was the case.

Vinsin is zero too.
Might be worth to build a custom list then, if you don't trust DefauftTrust?

theymos: Total votes 9 = included

It would be nice if these scores were actually shown here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;dt. All I see is -1 or +1.

Yes, it would.

This is a bit much for my tired brain, I probably have it wrong.
Some simple relaxation before sleep is in order, Game of Thrones anyone?
850  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 09, 2019, 10:19:22 PM
Would it not be logical that when one leaves a positive or negative trust for someone, that one's own trust list should automatically change to either respectively include that member or exclude (~) them? Or at least to have that option in Settings?
851  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 09, 2019, 09:23:42 PM
I just deleted my all trust list personalizations and going to start again.
Why, I'm not sure, but my brain just melted a bit and I want to think about it.
In view of the small number of members who actually set their own list, then I guess the vast majority will be seeing red and green trust by default left by these DT1 and DT2 members

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust

Is that right?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;dt is the DT view regardless of your own settings.

Yeah thanks, that's what I thought.
As some amount of previously left "untrusted" feedback will now be lighting up green or red lights, maybe it would be a good idea to have the "Show untrusted feedback by default" box in profile settings ticked by default.
The older hands here will be able to appreciate the subtleties of Theymos' action on this, but it's important to remember the children newbies and look at things from their POV if poss.

Today is January 9, 2019.  I was just given a negative trust rating from user Laudra from an incident that happened back on November 8 while I was working on the VENA Network bounty....
The negative trust was not delivered until today, so I can only assume they figured I forgot about the whole thing.

No, you are mistaken, the trust from Lauda was left on 2018-10-26, but only showed up today in your "trusted Feedback" because of Theymos' changes to the Default Trust list, which now includes Lauda (again).

854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardworking pays not luck on: January 09, 2019, 01:56:11 PM
Sure, hard work is important in life, as is a bit of luck, but so is using your brain so that your hard work isn't wasted.
Tell me, suppose in real life, a person came to you and said "I want you to do some work for me. Do the work and I promise to pay you when I say the job has ended. I will give you something you can sell which I say will then be worth money".
You have never met this person before, none of your family or friends know them, they may not even give you a real name or address for themselves. You don't understand the project he wants you to work on apart from what he tells you, and there is no legal contract of employment.
Would you do the work?

This is what "bounty hunters" should ask themselves. They should research the project that is offering future payment in new tokens and if they don't understand what it's about, why should they work for it? Or if they do, who will listen if they don't get paid?
Crypto is a new and complex part of life.
Learning and understanding should come first, not spreading spam and crap on social media on behalf of projects which are useless or scams, in the hope that some token or coin might be worth something.

Think first, learn, understand, then work.

In what stage is token sale now - pre-sale or main sale?

Nikita Kutsenko, [02.01.19 05:59]
Pre-sale company with 30% discount.

Lucas K, [02.01.19 06:32]
In roadmap in January is main sale. Is it mean that token sale will be extended?

Nikita Kutsenko, [02.01.19 06:52]
Yes, pre sale will continue until company raise $3 mln.

Investor reaction seems underwhelming.

I just realize that now there is two tokens in this ICO: security and utility token. So which token are you selling via your website?
The main ICO should to run from 15th December, but on website still is information about 30% discount and that PRE-ICO is live.. Do the roadmap is changed?

It seems that the uitility token is the one offered for sale, with the added security token in some sort of limbo land

Currently our team is focused on investment transactions with private institutional investors. In this connection we have made a strategic decision to issue STIPS securities.

It appears that STIPS have ceased responding to this thread, despite being active on the forum. Earlier they replied to every single comment: now, nothing for a month.
This corresponds to the doubts raised by the earlier post

...these scammers know literally nothing about crypto-world. They didn't even know what Circle or Greyscale are, while happliy burning investors' money on a "roadshow". I'm pretty sure they had no idea what either IDAX or IDEX is.

Here's a few fun facts:

1) They're lying about being British startup. All three founders of stips a from the deepest arse or Russia — city called Yekaterinburg, around Ural montains. This is where their main office is located.
2) All they really do is marketing — all the actual developers are outsourced from whatever. Meaning their "platform" most likely already have a lot of backdoors installed or, at the very least, not too well made.
3) They had nothing to do with the cryptocurrency untill last summer, when the smell of big scam-money and ICO filled the world l;ike a hurricane.
4) Yes, they don't even know the biggest players like Circle or Greyscale. They're totally incompetent in terms of crypto-world.
5) They're already spending private investors' money on luxury trips like Blockchain Cruise. And no, this has nothing to do with finding more potentital VCs.
6) They hastily removed the real-time investment counter from their site shortly after ICO began. To obscure actually low numbers, I guess.
7) They even scam the freelance people who were helping them with PR and translations, even when the sums in question are laughably small. They just tend to "forget" they owe someone something.

All in all, this is clearly aimless and incompetent project that just wanted a piece of that big tasty ICO-pie. Luckily, they're also slow and came too late to the party, so I doubt they'll get a chance to scam too many people.

There has been something unconvincing about this project from Day One for me. Why should they require an NDA simply to find out their UK company details?

Quote from: Stips 20 Oct 18
At this stage we are ready to disclose to you the information about the UK company after signing the NDA, since we value our intellectual property.

What "intellectual property?"
UK company registration is publicly available data. All Stips are doing is claiming they have a UK base and refusing to tell anybody what it is. Why?

Good day!
The bounty program is over, all the calculations have been done and spreadsheet is finish, when can we expect the transfer of rewards for participation?

That's a reasonable (unanswered) question. And a lot of tokens.

Quote from: Telegram
4 871 708 tokens (STIPS), or 2% of the total amount of the tokens, are allocated for the purposes of the Bounty Campaign.

I wonder if their ubiquitous "Advisor" Salina Bo and her strange vehicle AA Union Capital are pleased with progress so far?

856  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I'm having trouble understanding market makers actions. on: January 06, 2019, 03:03:07 PM

Without details, it's not possible to say exactly what's happening in the example you're watching but, in general terms, a market maker's idea of heaven would be to sit there all day making his 10 point spread without holding a long or short position for any period of time.
In quiet Sunday market conditions with no news, that's quite likely.
A market maker's main worry is inventory management in a trending market i.e. not getting stuck with unsold longs during a bear move or vice versa. There are various techniques to mitigate this including hedging, arbitrage and volume adjustment algorithms.
The expression "picking up dimes from in front of a steamroller" applies to market making.
The big picture is what matters at the end of the day; if he does 1000 trades making a spread profit of 1 point on each and loses 5 points 50 times by being caught long/short in a trend move, that's a successful day.

In your example, there's also the possibility that the account you're watching is in fact the exchange playing market maker, or wash trading to provide the illusion of activity.

8.1.2 Bitcoin Cash (BCH or BCC1)

In 2017, Bitcoin users adopted an improvement proposal for Segregated Witness (known as SegWit, where transactions are split into two segments: transactional data, and signature data) through a soft fork. SegWit made it possible to store transactional data in a more efficient form. However, a group of users had different opinions on how Bitcoin should evolve – and developed a hard fork of the Bitcoin blockchain titled Bitcoin Cash. Rather than implementing the SegWit changes, the developers of Bitcoin Cash decided to increase the maximum blocksize (additionally the developers made changes to other aspects of the system, such as the difficulty adjustment algorithm). When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

Judging by the gaps in posting history, it's just another account bought to promote some shit scam, this time the 777 ponzi, flavor of the month because it uses "smart contracts."
The account came to my notice because he left me Christmas Day negative trust for my Scam Accusation about NELUNS, which has nothing to do with him.
The NELUNS [ANN] thread is run by another bought account lowlife milonite, who also left me similarly worded red trust.
Both accounts promote scams in threads protected from criticism by Self Moderation.
arguelles84 just uses newbie shill accounts in his English language thread, whereas milonite employs a bumping service.
They both deserve their red trust and are probably associated.

Diskcroc8  January 04, 2019, 03:16:07 PM
Ccrypthon  January 04, 2019, 03:20:54 PM
Scodeist    January 04, 2019, 03:25:08 PM
bithawk     January 04, 2019, 03:28:15 PM

Not to mention each comment is vague yet similar-sounding.

They also all recently commented in this thread.

Wow, what are the odds?! Either very, very slim or else 100%, depending on how you look at things...
