I added BadBear on depth 0, look how someone's reputation has changed: <snip> Oh, and that someone is you! Explain to me what happened there? I'm assuming he trusts someone who gave me a neg but don't know who. I'm not even sure how to check BB's trust list without modifying my own. Yep, ignorance at its finest and I've been here long enough that I should know this. Yeah, somehow ~spartan82 is on his trust list and this is messing up the score. But, as Lauda said above his list is pretty old and he is not active anymore so I don't think it's a good idea to add him on depth 0. God knows how many accounts under him have already changed hands either sold or hacked. Yeah that list looks iffy. I had BB in my list but I have removed him now. This is starting to feel like a full time job. I thought I was almost done with my list but then started digging deeper and there is still some work to do.

Yup. I think I've changed my list more times since the introduction of this system than I have in all the previous time spent here. Former members of DT (1 or 2), who are no longer included in the "new" DT or have been excluded. Please review and if you find someone worthy - include them.
If I look at activity/inactivity, sent ratings and their trust lists, I don't see anyone else noteworthy of being re-added. Inactive accounts are now more dangerous than ever. There are some weird names, e.g. Gavin Andresen should never have been on that list.

New members of DT2, who were not in the "old" DT2 or DT1. No user ID on the trust page, so I couldn't create profile links, sorry. Please review and make adjustments if needed. This is based on coinlocket$'s snapshot of the old system vs the current DT2 list as of a few minutes ago. Things change quickly so feel free to yell at me if something is wrong. ChiBitCTy Banned user in DT2 list, look like activity criteria need to be fit for DT2 user also?

I have already contacted the user who has added him (and posted about it here; read all of the posts).

mike is a zero post zero feedback newbie, added by BitcoinPenny.
I guess that BitcoinPenny meant to add someone else who also goes by the name Mike but his forum account name is not Mike.
Also for whoever this may interest, I will keep https://anduck.net/files/bct_trustlists.txt updated.

These new DT changes are putting the forum on fire, Meta and Reputation are about to explode.
DT members kindly don't over-use your power to tag people you dislike, try to accept criticism and be willing to change your decision when needed.
Members , kindly ! if you are tagged for something "unreasonable" , PM the DT member FIRST and try to settle the issue before making new topic.
People , let us calm our tits "my favorite Vod's avatar goes here" and make use of this new update to have a better trust system.

Ok, new trust system looks a bit more complicated and difficult to understand. I just want to ask one question - is it jamalaezaz https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=721115 now DT member? Because I see feedbacks left by him are shown as Trusted. If he is DT member now, who have him on their trust list (sorry but I don't know how to check it)

No. Go to some random user who received trust from Jamal. Then append ";dt", e.g. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=487418;dt. Because I see feedbacks left by him are shown as Trusted. If he is DT member now, who have him on their trust list (sorry but I don't know how to check it)
It must be something related to your list. Did you build a custom one?

trust depth is 4 There's your issue. A trust depth of 4 means that you are trusting the ratings of probably half the forum. So someone on DT1 trusts someone who trusts someone who trusts jamalaezaz. Lower your depth to 2 and his ratings will disappear. Better yet, make a customised trust list.

With recent changes building a customised trust list is good suggestion, but for me it will be more difficult to do that because I'm not doing trades or business here, so in most cases I can't use my personal experience to build my trust list.

That seems like a reasonable change. Perhaps also consider upping the 10+ merit limit to 20+ or higher? This will obviously need periodically adjusted. On a long enough time line, the number of users who will finally earn 10/100/250 merit is theoretically massive. Number of 10-merit trusters: Typo? (10 -> 100)

No, that's just a possibly-interesting extra stat. The 100 merit list would be too big.

You might want to do this before the rebuild on monday. The previous number is likely only to get bigger as more and more people build lists.

If DT1 was reconstructed now with that modification:
That's still a huge list and only after a ~ day of everyone tinkering with their trust lists. Imagine what will happen next month. I'm thinking that having the same trust list serve multiple purposes (trusted vs untrusted feedback, DT2 level, voting for DT1) might be a problem. E.g. there are users whose feedback I trust but not their "subordinates" so I would prefer to not vote for them but still keep them in my list. Not sure if there is an easy solution to that though. Certainly don't want to force everyone to maintain several different lists.
