I don't want to be pessimistic, but here are some facts:

https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-36
We will update this news site as often as we can with news. - Nothing new last 9 days?
We will even have some videos this week from our Swedish assembly factory - I saw 10 sec long video with PCB without chip this week. Where are "videos from assembly factory" from last week?
The first chips off of the production line we will run at full speed in our launch video - We are 3 working days (5 days) from deadline. Where is launch video of working unit?

https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-34
Firstly, our orders for September delivery are now closed - I think, that there is a difference between shipping date and delivery date. Yes, KNC promise delivery of unit until September. - they have to process 1st day of shipping until Saturday and 2nd day of shipping until Sunday.

https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-32
Finally we wish to confirm that yes we are still on track for our delivery towards the end of September. - delivery not shipping (again)

@fanclub: there are just facts, you don't need to advocate KNC now.
without the chips there is nothing to show, the pictures are fake borards without chips

bad scenarios...

i think chips stuck at customs for the next 3 weeks... or more
like avalon ones

every chip have to be checked and this takes time

there is a technology transfer issue and homeland producers protection plan

or even worse

846  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Man, the order # that KnC is up to is scary. on: September 25, 2013, 04:56:27 PM
Are you sure they are using linear order patterns?  I know BFL, Avalon etc. did not.  Your order # might not mean you are 8,000 in line.

There is a lot of fake or test orders so dont worry

4PH max till end of nov.
Ask for refund and buy some cheap shares Wink

You own a company and dont know consumer law situation?
you tell me I can get VAT back?
If you doing b2c i suggets you contact your attorney asap  Wink

I have to pay 19% VAT from all selling to the state.

you buy goods for 100 usd from china
you pay 19% vat + customs fee at delivery usually
lets assume 120$

then you sell to customer
lets assume 1$ margin

you sell for 121$

you declare costs and you get your 19$ VAT back.
then your profit is 1$
next month you have to pay 20c CIT

it is EU law, there is no double vat lol.

We will lower the price within the next 24h.
After that I will delete all postings about VAT, tax, EU/US consumer laws (total different to US laws,
Inform yourself before posting)
If you want to discuss these things fell free to do in the off topic section.

short:
VAT 19%
german tax and EU consumer protection laws are far too complicated to explain it here
google and wikipedia are your friends, have fun with the german tax system Grin

What do you mean eu consumer protection laws?
Is it a cost or tax for you?

In eu all is clear,
You pay import duty, vat. When you sell it you get vat back and vat pays your customer.
Then you pay income tax from your profit.

I hope for blades below 3.6 btc.
855  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Official ASICMINER Block Erupter Europe|usb 0.15|blade 4.199 old & new in stock on: September 25, 2013, 04:56:09 AM
You guys that are not in Europe(The netherlands, Germany and England) Dont know what they are talking, The tax is 21% here. plus you have to pay extra import duty. And no you cant get it back. END OF DISCUSSION.

Vat varies in eu 19% - 24%
You can get back vat and income tax if you have a company.

Import duty is minimal per blade.

Usa resellers sell below 3.2btc bulk and eu guys have to pay 5?

I am a company owner in eu.
856  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: September 24, 2013, 06:06:10 PM
I think i will craft some options especially for you Smiley

I admire your optimism, but I'm curious, what do you think will keep the share price up after tomorrow's div of < .01?

Hardware sales will be big but most important is board statment...
yes, but we won't actually see anything for several weeks.  Until then, people have to live with weak dividends, and that might prove to be difficult for some.

Weaker dividends compared to who? I'm curious. Which securities offer better divididends than Asicminer, even at 0.01 ?

thats is my point

labcoin divs 150 satoshi
vmc divs 160 satoshi

like that...

pmbs divs are good but their share price goes lower with diffilcuty rise...

857  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 64Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/Ghash on: September 24, 2013, 05:07:30 PM
25% more Ghs than the cheaper competitor ?  In the .28nm chip competitor or any die size ?
I'm willing to pre-order but need more info about how the price will be determined.

Will you still honor this "not yet clear" promise even if the competitors sells for less than 1$/Ghs ?
Or even lower than 0.50$/Ghs ?

This scenario is quite possible IMO..

can you make new way to preorder ?
30% now, 70% on delivery ?
like on normal service buisness ?

Get your bets in. Bitbet is closing the KNCMiner bet in 2 days.

Timer removed. End time: 2013-09-27+00:00:00UTC

http://bitbet.us/bet/472/kncminer-will-deliver-asic-devices-before-october-1st/

I absolutely would not bet any further cash on this. I've been asked to arrive this weekend, not leave, so delivery by Mon is still a stretch, again devil's advocate here. I'm not making Bitbets on this.

so bet will be resolved as no.
859  Economy / Securities / Re: Community Mining - Bitfury Asic Miner 120GH/s --> All Shares taken on: September 24, 2013, 04:32:21 PM
just red this, in Bitcentury thread:

Hi guys,

The last couple of days have been exhausting. I will post details as soon as I have time in the next couple of days, but long story short we have some bad news in the sense that we are not going to be able to ship any of our customer's units. The good news is that you will get a full refund from us.  This morning we got a call from DHL regarding the first 4 units we shipped a few days ago which got stopped by export customs due to lack of an "FSB" (Federal Security Bureau... aka. the new KGB) notification ID# (I will explain what this means when I get a chance).  Today we picked up the units from DHL, and headed straight to Metabank along with all the other units that we spent days testing and packaging carefully. Metabank has already issued us a full refund late this evening, and we'll do likewise with all our customer in order of who paid first as soon as we're able, but likely after I head back to Canada which will be this week . Refunds will be performed in bitcoins and for the amount you paid us. We still need to sort out some internal details but generally speaking, that's the plan.

Our sincere apologies this did not work out as intended.
I will write more details soon, but I just wanted everyone to be notified immediately of the situation.
Kind Regards,
Luis
