842  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 06, 2014, 12:05:53 AM
In writing? forgetting to ask for "full BTC refund" in writing. the TOS clearly states full refund via payment
Quote
2. PURCHASE AND PAYMENT.

(a) Guaranteed Baby Jet Delivery Dates. All of the 550 Baby Jet units from

Hashfast's first production batch are guaranteed for delivery by December 31,

2013. If Buyer ordered one or more units of such Baby Jets, and Hashfast does not

deliver such units by that date, then Buyer may cancel the undelivered portion of

the order at Buyer's request and Hashfast will refund the payment for the units

that Buyer purchased but did not receive and cancelled. This cancellation and

refund is Buyer's sole and exclusive remedy for Hashfast failing to deliver by the

December 31, 2013 guaranteed delivery date, and Buyer must cancel the order by

January 15, 2014 to avail itself of this remedy.

Well, mate, good luck putting that equality sign between these two things in the court. I'm not saying it can't be done, but don't you think it would be a whole lot easier if you would have ""full BTC amount" instead of "payment"?

This is not a problem as the ToS clearly defines 'the payment' as:

Quote
Payments are due in the amounts, in the currency, and at the time stated in the order or confirmation sent by Hashfast, or if not so stated: (a) paid in Bitcoin

https://hashfast.com/checkout/terms-of-sale/

So I your payment was a certain amount of BTC. A full refund of the payment is the return of same amount of BTC.

I'm sure it was converted to Fiat right away. That and prices risen tenfold. But good luck in your quest for a refund

846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MCXNow Realsolid Has Screwed Everyone. MCXNOW SHUTTING DOWN!! on: January 03, 2014, 10:01:22 PM
like others say, the guys is a real jerk. I bought some fees and got screwed like everyone else. Unless I had waited and stuck around. Maybe they would be worth the same. But who knows? So much for the 3-4 weeks before the site is back.. Well avoid RS, otherwise known as Real Shit.
847  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 02, 2014, 10:10:25 PM
people are never get paid back in BTC. As prices have risen tenfold. I'm sure they converted BTC to Fiat right away. But good luck on your case
848  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: public record, case 13LA09619 won against BFL on: January 01, 2014, 07:14:43 AM
Interesting.  First I've heard of this... I wonder who they served (if anyone in BFL).  You know you really screwed up your "win" when the defendant first hears about a case on an unrelated 3rd party internet forum, heh.

Should be an open and shut case to get this re-opened and dismissed.

Such words of wisdom from Josh. Shouldn't you be working on writing your next delay??

849  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 12 (2 T/hash) early Jan CoinTerra order. on: December 30, 2013, 01:01:35 AM

No, you're just babbling incoherently like an idiot.

Please just leave the bitcoins community alone. You've got to be the most hated person in the bitcoins world. Why you post is beyond me..

854  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: Advanced Mining technology (AMT) on: December 20, 2013, 10:10:15 PM
What an astonishing concentration of cheer-leading newbie posters in this thread, many of whom claim to have ordered the 1.2TH product:

alsey7:  1 week old account, very first post is a thinly disguised AMT ad
Clenell:  3 week old, took 2 posts in newbie jail before mentioning wanting to buy AMT
Chazaki: 1 week old account, and already "extremely grateful for AMT" as "they are one of the few companies daring to take on this incredibly unstable market." (really?)
NaranKPatel: 2 week old account, second post mentions AMT
YourPalToots: 1 week old account, second post mentions AMT
pierred: 2 week old account, second post mentions AMT
smelly: 2 week old account, took 10 posts before finding this thread. This guy could be legit Smiley
russellthies: relatively old (6 month) account, but inactive (purchased?) until now. First post straight to AMT thread claiming to have bought 2 1.2 TH rigs
lucianoribeiro: 1 day old account, heads straight to this thread
majalen33: 1 week old account. Immediately heads to AMT thread to cheerlead
mrpark: 2 week old account. First newbie thats not a cheerleader (yet?). Might be genuine.
frank754: 1 week old account. Third post is in AMT thread
mdtspain: 2 weeks old account. Second post in AMT thread claims to have bought 1.2 TH miner.
Burebista: 1 week old account. Second post in AMT thread. not cheerleading, may be genuine
MinerTrain213: 2 weeks old account. Second post cheerleading in AMT thread.

I may have missed some more.

+1

Now I dont judge people by post count or age of the account, some of the above may be genuine accounts from real people who just happened to stumble upon AMT. But what are the chances of 16 newbies posters stumbling upon AMT thread almost immediately after joining this forum, ordering expensive rigs from a dubious company, and for the most part, not posting anything in any other thread?

Whats that smell?

And sure enough, so far, the only confirmation of AMT shipping anything at all comes from one of those 2 week old members. Confirmation consists of pictures of 3 off the shelve bitfury boards crammed in a PC case, something any one of us could do. Specs cant be right either and for added lulz the machine is reportedly not even working. I guess thats supposed to make it more credible.

Im not ruling out anything at this point, but forgive me for not yet rushing to send my bitcoins to AMT.

855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worldcoin's Financial Service Enters Beta Testing TOMORROW! [WDC] - Apply Today! on: December 19, 2013, 07:35:56 PM

856  Economy / Speculation / Re: The inevitable collapse of hubris on: December 19, 2013, 02:58:33 AM
I'm not sure hoping that speculators lose everything is a particularly kind world view.  It's rather destructive to the soul.

agree, now think of the elderly.. Things are slowing down for them, maybe not running on all cylinders. They decided to invest in the hopes of making some money. It's hard not to feel bad, rather than being happy OP.

Soon, all the vested interests who were screaming at people to buy in at $1000, telling people to sell their houses, cars, shirt off their back to buy buy buy will be shouting 'SUCKERS!'.

I hope there are plenty of people who lose absolutely everything to this scam. And I hope their utter financial ruin will serve as a warning.

regardless of people's decision. Whether it is greed or not. I wouldn't be happy for someone in financial ruin (if that happens).

You probably hate yourself, so your happy when other people are in despair..

The type of person who if you didn't like the neighbor and his house burnt down. You would be happy.

How is KNC able to set a date for delivery and meet that date and BFL has never been able to be on time?
