841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: February 08, 2017, 08:22:35 PM
I normally gamble for fun so technically i go to some random site and invest 4$ and enjoy. Now for your other question which part of
day do i gamble. I don't get it how does it make sense i gamble when i have time and when i'm in a mood to gamble. And i don't think
there is any kind thing in the world that if you gamble at this time you will win.
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: February 07, 2017, 06:43:30 PM
maybe... But btc is famous because of its wavy motions. If you just hold your btcs doing nothing, you may not gain enough. Its better to try some exchanges / trades etc
Technically what you are saying is wrong. If you currently see the price it has increased from 700$ to 1000$ in just 1-2 months. So you still think that in the future the price won't go up??
I would recommend all the people who currently have btc to hold it and not sell it because it has lot's of potential in the coming months.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: February 07, 2017, 06:37:39 PM
That is not going to help you at all, no strategy is going to help you. Just go with the flow and just bet whatever you want. You are going to lose or might win thats for sure so dont try any strategy. If you want to make money, invest in a gambling sites instead and make money in the long run , nothing is better than that
I don't agree with your statement fully. I agree that gambling is full luck but everyone who gambles need to have a strategy, what I mean by that is a goal for when to stop when I am in profit or loss.
Investing in a gambling site is totally useless as they give us returns of 1-2% per year which is too low.
844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to choose hi or lo in dice games ? what you have in mind when you gamble ? on: February 07, 2017, 06:14:43 PM
I don't know what strategy you use. The strategy I use is kind of profitable for me but I used ut only once till now.
So the strategy is invest minimum 0.1 btc in a high roll dice. I did 1 btc but it's your wish.
So I setup a robot to auto roll for 20 moves each roll worth 0.05. I didn't check it in the middle. When I checked my balance in the end it was 1.25 btc or something close I remember I was in profit. So I never invested again. I don't guarantee it will work for you I just shared my story.
845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: February 07, 2017, 06:02:59 PM
You can try lending your money on exchanges like Poloniex, OKCoin and so forth. Just keep in mind that you're giving up control over your BTC once you lend it until the duration of the loan has expired.

What I found to be a comfortable way of increasing the amount of my BTC is getting passive income on trading sites. If you get others to sign up using your link, you'll get rewards for every trade they do (mostly, it's a percentage of the trading fees or spread from each trade).

I don't prefer to lend money on exchange sites better to go with trading. I don't want to have some obligations on paying debts.

There are a lot of other ways to grow your bitcoins and if you are one of those people who are holding a lot.

You may also invest with bankroll casino's.
If you technically see lending money and trading both are really risky. If one has bitcoins and wants to grow I don't think bankroll casino's are also a good idea because they provide return of 2-3% per year which is really less.
The best way to grow bitcoins is to let it remain in your wallet as currently bitcoin is providing returns of 10%-40%  depends at what price the person has purchased it.
846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: February 07, 2017, 05:41:52 PM
Ok so basically there are two things I'm gonna tell you. You can decide which one you have to use.
First if you want money for an urgent use or for any emergency reason and you are getting profit by selling it now then sell it. If you just bought bitcoins to get a short term profit then sell it.
If you can wait for 2 more years I can guarantee you that the price will be more thanthe current price so if you don't have any special need  then don't sell it and wait.
847  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: February 07, 2017, 05:17:56 AM
Yes certainly, fiat money is used, bitcoin used no more than 0,005%, I am sure there are many countries that are 100% not using bitcoin. so impossible that bitcoin replacing fiat money.

It is a fact that only few countries are into bitcoins most of them still doesn't know what bitcoin is. And it is an impossible thing that bitcoin will replace fiat because it will always be preferred for the transactions that are happening worldwide and countries will not gamble their government upon trusting and replacing fiat with bitcoin.

To make bitcoin replace fiat it must be teached at schools to the next generation. The old persons are addicted in old behaviors, that means fiat and not crypto currencies. On long term bitcoin can replace fiat but it will take too much time.
Luckly it will happen in decades, but there is the possibility to happen only after a century or so.
I don't think bitcoin will ever replace fiat. The reason is pretty obvious as bitcoin isn't stable at all and the price keeps on increasing when a person purchases it so technically it can be really profitable for a person like the pizza guy who sold a pizza for 10 million or something or a loss like for the guy who bought pizza for 3000 bitcoins. So that's what I was trying to tell because price change it can affect lot's of people.
848  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: February 07, 2017, 05:11:43 AM
I can not see any reason why Bitcoin should take the place of the Dollar. Now the dollar is moving in very good shape, one of the important functions of the markets. Bitcoin does not have a central authority, so the support of the people here plays a very important role or it is not accepted in bitcoin.

We can say that even most people can use bitcoin even if it is difficult to use. That's why the dollar will always stay.

in near future it is not possible for bitcoin to replace bitcoin. in fact USD isi one of the most stronger fiat currency of the world and until all the people of the world will start using bitcoin tell, up to that time i do not think that it will be possible for bitcoin to replace USD.
yes i also do not think so that bitcoin will replace USD so easily, USD is a very strong currency and have a very form support of the strongest country of the world and it can only possible if USD start using bitcoin instead of USD.
bitcoin is not going to replace any fiat currency. bitcoin is created for online purpose. most of the people are using it for online shopping trading etc, while in areas bitcoin is use as fiat currency but facilities of using bitcoin in local shops is not available. may be in future when bitcoin will become more popular then shops will start accepting bitcoin for shopping but still it need a long time.
The starting part was correct but the end part is totally wrong. Most of you have invested in bitcoin because you know the potential and also the past about it. But 80% of the people are not aware that even if the government agrees to use bitcoin as a currency we still couldn't use it as a currency. The reason is bitcoin was made as an alternative to gold which everyone knows. But what people are not aware about is to make something expensive or maybe gold alternative it should be unique, for that the bitcoin system has been set in a way that the maximum bitcoins allowed to be mine is 21 million that means after 21 million bitcoins are mined the only way to get bitcoin is to purchase. So if it is used as currency there can be a huge shortage in the supply of it.
849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: February 07, 2017, 04:44:37 AM
People will have different feeling while playing gambling because they will feel shy to share the news to his friends and family when the won money through gambling. Because many people have feeling that gambling is an illegal activity.
That's the biggest problem of today's society. They don't let people enjoy their life or let them do something they actually wanna do. I think the people who say to you that gambling is bad, illegal , etc they should ignore those people and enjoy their life.

Gambling and drugs and all the other things that are illegal are bad for the individual and/or for the society. Some believe that one must be able to do whatever they want to do as long as it doesn't affect other people. For example, one can do drugs and gamble whole day long as long as they don't hurt other people. It's their body, let them do whatever they want to do, right? That's what people must be thinking. When democracy was implemented, freedom was taken in a much different way than the government expected. Today, freedom means the sky is the limit. Freedom means that doing whatever you want without anyone interrupting you at all.

That's the very reason why people say "YOLO" and then do some shady activity that might put them to jail.
Well I agree that drugs can disturb other people as most people get 'high'. But gambling? How does gambling affect other people. He has money he goes to casinos which are legit and registered with all the documents , etc. But no still people have problem with that because he is gambling. The problem of the people is they have a mindset that gambling is bad, illegal even though most of the times it isn't , but I think the best solution is to ignore those people who have a problem with you because you gamble.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: February 07, 2017, 04:29:10 AM
Yes, trading is like gambling in many ways. First of, like in gambling no one can actually predict what will happen next. In gambling it's about what number you will roll or what card will appear next. In trading it's about which coin will be pumped today and which will be dumped. Second, like in gambling, the higher the amount of money you risk in trading the higher your profit might be in case your predictions were right ones.
I agree with the points yoy gave to show similarities between trading and gambling. But generally trading is way more risky than gambling as gambling is mostly luck but in trading a really good strategy is required if a person thinks he has the skills to determine the price or other factors then trading is best for them but if you are beginner and has zero knowledge about trading then I would recommend you to stay away from trading.
851  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 05, 2017, 08:32:55 PM
I will choose Bitcoin for the reason that I can buy it freely. How to buy gold online, I do not know.
To buy small gold bullion in the bank, I need to collect a significant amount of money.
Ofcourse  option of bitcoin is much easy to choose for investment but still in the present time many numbers of sites are offering to buy gold online but here after that these type of services still bitcoin is best as an investment because ease of use bitcoin in the online market as an currency/money but selling of gold at online is about impossible , So gold option is good but not much good according to our recruitments .
Secondly bitcoin is profitable much than gold , because of fluctuations in the price of bitcoin is more than in gold .
The gold is an evergreen product, the price is low to compare bitcoin, but if you check the value of gold in world market, it is high to compare bitcoin. You can invest gold in any business without asking any questions people will accept. But Bitcoin we can not invest in all business. It's not global currency but booming currency in the digital world. I like bitcoin because of present price, and I like gold forever.
I still don't get it what makes you invest in gold. It is currently at a all time low from the past 10 years. I know many people who bought it as an investment 6 years ago and the price became half now. I think bitcoin is the next gold for sure. And bitcoin is accepted most of the places. And you can even get 10% in cash after you sell your bitcoins so what's the problem in that i don't get it.
You probably do not understand why people invest in gold at this point and  I suppose you think the price will keep falling, so if  someone who buy now will lose if he sells in the short term, well, You are considering only the past 10 years, if you moved a little behind maybe you would see that even today's price is  high in relation to time that you mention, that is on one hand, In the other hand the answer could be in your  explanation:  I know many people who bought it as an investment 6 years ago and the price became half now, Did you see? The price became half now, It means that it could be a good time for someone buy at this point, much better than somebody did it 6 years ago, assuming that your sources of information are correct, the fact is that it has been said many times that the gold is a refuge value by nature and always retains its value, in that sense some prefer for the yellow metal.
No man i have seen i remember buying gold when the price was some 50-60$ per 24 carat. And now i the price is currently some 30$ i don't remember. But we normally didn't purchase for investment purpose tbh, maybe we could have but mostly for family pride. All i was trying to say that if you compare bitcoin and gold i would prefer and recommend a person to invest in bitcoins. But rest is your wish.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: February 05, 2017, 08:16:14 PM
Well for obvious reasons online gambling is banned in many countries. I think the reason can be because the government thinks it is bad and they don't want people to spend there money on risky things.
Now for the difference
Online gambling has a minimum investment of 1$.
While in real gambling you can't jusr be like I wanna bet 1$ on this blackjack game or anything.
Second online gambling doesn't require many paperwork while real gambling requires lot's of procedures to build a real casino.

Yes, I think it is really good to ban online gambling because it will really make someone addicted to it. But why ban onlime gambling and not real gambling? Well because i think it is business and has a high tax which they collect, they cant collect taxes in online casinos and gambling site.
In online gambling you can bet the minimum of .00000001 and no one cares really. Thats the beauty of online gambling and what more I love is online gambling can make you anonymous, noone knows you won a big money.

Well in my country there isn't any casinos as far as i remember. And about tax i agree that online gambling is basically a loss for the government. But yeah that's what i was exactly trying to say online gambling is anonymous and of course affordable investment also.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 05, 2017, 02:24:42 PM

Well managing is the biggest problem as mostly when I invested just to gamble for fun my investment got over after 4 days. So I stopped for a while and did that again after 3 months but it got over in a day. So I would recommend who all just gamble for fun make it like 10-20 games per day of the minimum bet like that u can gamble maybe for a month also.

10-20 games per day? why would you do so if you have no intention to win? If you dont feel like going to play to win then dont play at all. It is silly to see people that actually treat gambling as a sake of entertainment, please just go and find another entertainment instead of wasting your time and money with gambling
I was just saying for example. I gamble for entertainment and that amount isn't so high. I spend around 5$ 3 times a year. So you are saying that someone can't spend even 5$ 3 times a year for entertainment purpose. It is just like watching a movie for me and i don't mind spending.

855  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: February 04, 2017, 07:45:31 PM
not at all .usd is more popular than bitcoins .it is becoming more and more popular .as the price of bitcoins would increase day by  day it is becoming more and more popular but it would never go higher than usd.
but although bitcoin will become more famous in the future. it will not make bitcoin replace fiat fiat or even make disappear, the dollar will continue higher and popular than bitcoin
That's correct, bitcoin is already popular but not as popular as fiat or USD. I don't think it will be the mainstream currency of the world as this world is still manage and controlled by our government, they dictate things and implement what is right to be implemented. The government has their own fiat in digital form, so most likely it will be their version to compete with bitcoin.
For obvious reason usd will of course be more popular than bitcoin. But i suppose why do you want bitcoin as a currency because it free from government interference or maybe from any other reason.
Let's get to the point usd has unlimited supply so it can be used as an currency. But bitcoin can't be used as currency because the maximum amount of bitcoins allowed to be mined according to the system is 23 million so if it becomes a currency it will be impossible to distribute it among the people right..
856  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: February 04, 2017, 07:41:08 PM
Well it has already reaches 1000$ as for now.
But yeah I guess there are a few reasons which will help it reach 1000$ easily.
First if china government doesn't interfere and tell it's people that it is risky as last time they issued a warning that bitcoin is risky the price fell from 1100$ to 800$.
Second reason awareness.  As day by day bitcoin keeps getting more famous daily due to this reason it can be easy for bitcoin to touch 1000$.
If China had the power to compromise the operation of the network, I think they would have already done it. They know that without points of centralization it becomes difficult to stop the currency, so I suppose the best thing they could do is not try to interfere with Bitcoin's progress, since that would only bring more media coverage, and more people would be aware of the existence of the currency.
I think that even if china has the hash power for the bitcoin people always relate any change of the bitcoin price to it and that is completely wrong, the price of the bitcoin changes according to the demand and we who are holding the bitcoin if we keep on holding the price keeps going up and that is how the price can reach $1000.
Well of course you are absolutely right that the price changes because of demand. But you are also wrong when you say that china doesn't control the price. Here's a proof:
Remember recently bitcoin reached 1100$+ and then suddenly fell to 700$ or something. The reason for this is because people in china started selling all their bitcoins. Now it is weird why would so many people start selling their bitcoins suddenly right. The reason is the central bank of china issued a note bitcoin is a risky investment. So you still think that the price isn't controlled by china.
857  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: February 04, 2017, 07:26:49 PM
Wait what did you just say that bitcoin can replace dollars.
I don't think this will ever happen. It's just not possible. I agree people keep saying bitcoin is future, investment opportunity , etc. But bitcoin replacing dollars will never happen I can guarantee you.

Everyone would love a Digital Wallet that can be
brought to any place and have fast transactions.
As he says, it will not replace dollars, bitcoin may
be a popular crypto currency, but it is impossible to
replace dollars. I think bitcoin will be more used by
people in the future but will not replace currencies in
the future, though looking forward on making bitcoin
acceptable at any stores.
Well i still think there are many people who are forgetting the purpose of bitcoin. Bitcoin was made to be a unique currency. It was made to replace gold as an investment so why do want to use it for daily transactions. Bitcoin is just an investment platform please don't try to use it as an currency.

859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 04, 2017, 11:27:57 AM
Well first of all gambling is never addicting.
The reason I would say this is because most of the people who gamble and cry that they lost this much money is because of human nature as they are greedy to get more. In other words addicting = greed. I think the best way for not getting addicted is not investing or maybe having a goal before investing or maybe a strategy
But if it is addicting people into itself then we can say that gambling is addicting but only for those people who do not use much of their mind while those people who use their mind and do not waste much of their money and much of their time will be saved from it to be addicted in gambling and he will also continue his daily activities along with gambling.

It's much more of our own willingness on when do we stop in gambling. If you really can't control yourself in gambling tendency is that you will be more addictive to it and that's what happened to those people who always find time going in casinos.

Causes of own willingness probably is to win more or probably win what you lost from the casino. People always want to benefit from something,  you can't blame that because that is human nature. It is addicting because of the possibility of the winnings, and when you hit that win, you will get more addicted and probably will come back many times. That's why it is so addicting.

Playing in casino is not good thing, cuz in casino house always wins. Roulette is unpredictable , card games can be won in several ways and slots are just for fun.
Some of this game are to addicting and that way most of the time you hear or even say that gambling is addicting.
Well, playing in the casino is very fun if you know how not to become addicted to it. The more you play, the more pleasure you are. Only when you gamble without think about the profit will you feel satisfied. I have played blackjack and poker for many years and I never get addicted to it
Playing is casino will of course be fun like you are watching everything live and stuff. But that's the main problem most of the people who gamble only try to get profit and then when they get they find this is an easy way to make money and finally they end up getting addicted to it.

Well what you said did make sense. And if you see the price is controlled by the Chinese. But about media coverage I don't think it will affect the price much. Because I think the investors in china don't have any background knowledge of bitcoin as we saw last time when their government wanted to reduce the price they made a warning and of course without thinking anything they started selling bitcoins and the price reduced. If the government makes another sort of warning this time and the Chinese again start selling then I'm 100% sure they have no knowledge about bitcoin.
