This is the one reason why traders have been holding bitcoin and selling it on prices rise beyond 1000USD. The prices keep on increasing every year and so the people are willing to buy some bitcoin, hold it and then sell it sometime later. Holding the coins for years may not yield so much profit as daily trading but still its good for people who are busy with other work and cant watch the markets all day.

Holding it is the safest thing to do but then you are going to miss a lot of money to earn by just holding it. Its not like you stake it with your wallet and your BTC grows, its the value the grows yet its just $.  If you don't own a lot of it, its better to just buy low and sell high as what they say.  Sell your current BTC during its bubble and then buy them back after seeing people are already dumping. Its the game traders master overtime.  Exchanges with BTC/USD are your friends.

i am agree, bitcoin is our asset for future but we don't have to keep all of our bitcoin and only waiting the increase of the price, if we want to make our bitcoin grow, then we should search another way to make it growth like trading, investment, or others so if we know that the price is on higher price, then we can sold it while we still have another bitcoin in our wallet.

Of course , like if you would have purchased bitcoin at the beginning , when it started.
You would now have been rich.
Even you can do the same , but now the prices are very high .

although i am also in favour of long term investment. and specially when the price of bitcoin is trading about 1000 USD. because currently short term investment can be risky, but i think but i think long term investment can only be profitable that if you have a good amount of bitcoin and if you can hld it for a long time. then long term investment be more profitable.

Technically what you are saying is wrong. If you currently see the price it has increased from 700$ to 1000$ in just 1-2 months. So you still think that in the future the price won't go up??

In order to benefit from short term fluctuations you can simply secure profits every now and then where alongside that you have a certain amount of coins for the long term. In that case you will be able to benefit from both your short and long term investments. Why choosing just one option when you can do both things without any problems? It is really be a good investment and its price really is unpredictable. But my big and worst regret is not earning bitcoin when I had first seen it and talk about by the people around me. It was 2007 or 2010., the price of bitcoin that time is like a candy and I can buy a lot. Well if I just start earning bitcoins that time and then save it until now, I think I am somewhat rich.

but short term investment is good only for those people who have good experience in short term investment and those people who are good decision taker as to me i am not a good decision take and i really feel very hard when to sell my bitcoin. as i am holding  my bitcoin for  long time and in previous two bumps i cannot decide to sell my bitcoin. therefore long term investment is too good for me i think.

You got to accept price fluctuations, people buy in (Whales who buy large quantities) which pushes up the price, then they cash out.
I guess as market cap increases, it will be harder for a Whale todo that, but look at Gold and Silver, they're also manipulated and their
market cap is bigger than bitcoin.
Fluctuations are inevitable, and are actually a good thing, yea, it causes uncertainty, but at the same time, volatility can be a source
of gain.
A few weeks ago, I just happened to buy some Monero, quite by accident, the price shot up afterwards, and I cashed some out to
buy back in to Bitcin and other altcoins.
I only made around $100 byt that was over a third of my holdings so..
Price fluctuations can be a good thing, we all feel good when the Price of Bitcoin / Altcoin Soar, but equally, if you have long term faith
in your altcoin holdings, price crashes can be a way of buying more cheaply.
