841  Economy / Services / Re: Stake.com - A signature campaign for everyone! Earn up to 0.1 BTC weekly on: May 24, 2019, 05:57:17 PM
I hear what you saying about the fixed price but you were paying 100k for hero when btc was 4k now btc is 8k that is double so it should be 50k but it is 37k that is 3x less.
Just saying...
842  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Easy to Use 'Choose Ur Faucet & Claim' ROTATOR -ONLY PAYING SITES(Updated Daily) on: May 24, 2019, 03:01:50 AM
Why do you ignore felicita?? They are trying to help you they want you to add their faucet. Do it!! It is what you want isn't it? When I visit your website there is a massive clipped image and it takes up the whole screen and is all I see aside from the side scroll thing on the left hand side. It says it cannot connect to the server to retrieve that image. What exactly is the image and why is it so big?

Have you been receiving the airdrops you entered so far? If your website collects good quality airdrops that pay then it will do well and I will definitely use it more.
843  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: My experience with faucet-sites on: May 23, 2019, 11:23:29 AM
check out my faucet Wink
www.speedshatoshi.com

How old is your site? Did you buy that scrip? Really nice and includes shortlink for better earnings. A fair amount to click as well. You should add it to a faucetlist. DOes Hcaptcha pay you when users fillout the captcha?
Have you heard of fun-captcha? It pays. Can you swap the one you use for it with ease? Or is it a bit complex?
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your unfashionable Bitcoin opinions? on: May 22, 2019, 07:46:20 PM
Everyone has a few. What are yours?

My main ones are - unit bias has held back BTC's progress in the mind of the public.

Bitcoin will never see widespread use as a currency.

95-99.5% of the world does not want to be their own bank. And a decent proportion who do want to be, should not be.

"Bitcoin will never see widespread use as a currency. " seriously you have been on the forums for how long??? This isn't even an opinion its a fact that bitcoin is being used and is widespread.

"95-99.5% of the world does not want to be their own bank. And a decent proportion who do want to be, should not be." so you hav spoken to 95-99.5% of the world have you? You know what people want more then they do? Tells us more.

Everyone has a few. What are yours?

Bitcoin will never see widespread use as a currency.
95-99.5% of the world does not want to be their own bank. And a decent proportion who do want to be, should not be.

My unfashionable opinions about bitcoins are:
1. It can not be used as a replacement of regular fiat currency due to high fee and network load. There are other crypto currency that can do this job better.
2. Better to use it as a store of value than a regular currency
3. No matter how much we deny, it actually helps criminal to stay under the radar.

"No matter how much we deny, it actually helps criminal to stay under the radar." same can be said amount social media and phedophiles. Hell lets just blame the internet entirely while we at it. No matter how much how you deny it the internet/guns and many other things help criminals.

"2. Better to use it as a store of value than a regular currency" look up the word currency.

My unpopular opinions:
1.Bitcoin is only a bunch of code and the creation of that code (mining)wastes electricity.
2.The only incentive about using bitcoin is the possibility of a future price increase.
3.People will never fully adopt bitcoin, because they want to be slaves of the government protected banks.(it keeps their false sense of security)

Banks also have a server that runs all day long to handle their transactions. Saying bitcoin mining wastes electricity is like saying a lock on your door wastes money.

846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CannerGrow - OWN YOUR OWN CANNABIS PLANT 🌱 on: May 22, 2019, 07:18:01 PM
Where is a website to look at? Where are the plants? I don't see any. I already own several of my own anyway I just think this is very interesting but I am not seeing substance over here so whats up?
On the first page is a button at the top called "Website" click on it and you will see our page, or just press HERE

We have a live cam in our Dashboard or just check our social media channels to find out more and see our plantation, the links for them are also on page 1 at the top.

Yes I see but it goes to the registration. Change the link that says website to go to https://cannergrow.com/ you already have a registration link at the bottom. Also, your twitter link on your website is missing the .com part so it is broken.

100 tokens is a bit less then 400 EUR and the profit projections are as follows.

1 Plants
100Token
350 EUR
pergrow50 EUR
peryear300 EURin
3 years900 EUR

How did you come to these figures and how on earth can you give an actual % you have no idea how it will go. I am very wary of investments that tell me they will make you "X" amount. Please expand on this for me.
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect your digital coins? on: May 22, 2019, 06:57:36 PM
I use the hardware wallet Ledger wallet it can be used for many cryptocurrencies and I currently hold my two main ones which are btc and eth. They work very well and I feel safe. I treat my ledger as a bank.
I use good antivirus (nod32) with a firewall and I am careful what I download and from where and what links open. Most nasty links open and try download or even launch and installer at placed like paid to click or traffic exchange. The money-making sites attract people so scammers put their stuff among it because they know people are going to see it at some point. Even some faucets do it. Some have a mining script that runs by itself when you visit the website. This is ok if they tell you and do it in place of ads but you get obvious banner farms and places full of ads and popups you cannot even navigate around.

As long as you keep your wits about you, then you should be ok. One more thing is always double check when you copy paste things and when you about to login somewhere. Make sure you don't get phished.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can we buy with one BTC? And is buying something with BTC worth it? on: May 22, 2019, 06:24:30 PM
New article on BlockChain24.co made me realize that I've never bought anything with Bitcoins. I mostly consider it as an investment target. Is it right? Cause this is a currency after all.
And you, are you buying something with BTC?

I have been using bitcoin to buy things for the past 3 years. I only use fiat for food/petrol/rent but the person I pay rent to has started accepting bitcoin and said they will allow me to pay in it so they can keep it as an invesment. The lady I rent from is clever like that.

Anyway here is a short list of somethings I have bought with bitcoin just so you have an idea.

Video games (lots of these)
An entire pc+eth mining rig
Gardening supplies
Cannabis seeds
Cellphone airtime
Netflix giftcard
Google giftcard
Online subscriptions to adult entertainment sites as well as exclusive forums.
Electronic equipement
Electric plugs/adaptors
Lights/Led
Airbrush kit and paints
Arts & crafts supplies
Figures
Software
Shoes
Certain brands of clothing from certain online stores

There is much much more, these are all online and deliver to my house. There is also a mining store where you can buy coffee and tea and treats for various crypto. It is the only physical place you can walk in and spend bitcoin.
849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If there is a store like Amazon or ebay that accepts only BTC would you use it? on: May 22, 2019, 06:14:14 PM
We already have two. takealot and bidorbuy both accept bitcoin and both are massive markets. I live in a third world country so what is your countries excuse? You act like such htings don't exist lol. I have been buying things with bitcoin for years now.
What I'm trying to ask is would you use that type of store with your crpyto (maybe that store accepts more crypto not only BTC) or you see crypto only as an asset that will provide you more fiat money in the future?

of course I would use it , without a doubt
I'm a staunch supporter of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general , so the more stores that allow direct purchases with btc the better
I would not buy just because it accepts btc if it doesn't have competitive prices or offer no goods I'm interested in , though
as for treating crypto as an asset , yes it is an asset to me currently simply because there is no infrastructure ready to use it as money at the moment
maybe soon , when there are more stores like you've described appear and there is more competition and the adoption is huge - this is the goal in mind
Different peoples have different mindsets. Cryptocurrencies are not actually that bad option to spend for shopping but originally cryptocurrencies were not been established as a mean of payment on online shopping sites but it was been developed for the community to earn great profits into.

There are a number of opportunities including mining, trading, gambling, etc which gives us the chance to multiply or coins or simply we can HODL those coins until the ATH price is reached. Considering all these benefits, there hardly might be the need to develop a marketplace where only cryptocurrnecies would be used as a mean of payment.

"cryptocurrencies were not been established as a mean of payment on online shopping sites but it was been developed for the community to earn great profits into."

Lol sure dude.
It is a currency look the word up.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs USD - Which one is better? on: May 22, 2019, 06:09:25 PM
Wow someone gave you 2 merits for that?? If this is how you feel then why are you here? Get out!! Now!!
Why you even here?

Also bitcoin can be used worldwide and is accepted in many places so who knows what you talking about. I can see you new. So be humble.
This morning while talking with my mom, an over 60 years old woman, about economy, government and things like that she turned to me and asked "how do I start to use Bitcoin?".. I was quite surprised because I never talked much about it with her as, in my mind, "she is old, she will not understand anyways" but I was wrong.. then I spent a time to explain how to get started, how to invest.. everything in an easy way to make her able to understand about all the risks yet see all the possibilities and, at the end, she surprised me even more when she said "from this next month on I want you to help me buying a few (satoshis) every month"
Then, I never had any doubt about BTC or USD but now I am more sure than ever, BTC all the way  Grin
The incident mentioned above by an user is a clear example to choose the right one. Bitcoin is truly the best to have as a store of value. With USD, the backing by the government makes it more of a trusted asset than bitcoin. To overcome this scenario we need to get the legal support from governments which we're lacking with bitcoin. When all levels of people come to know about bitcoin, surely we'll experience a big change in preference from the common people.

Lol dude wtf are you talking about?
Legal backing of the goverment?? Why would we need that?
Bitcoin doesn't need the goverment thats the whole point. OMG BRO!!!
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Israeli court rules Bitcoin an assets and taxable on: May 22, 2019, 06:01:04 PM
Eh... How exactly is crypto going to be taxed? Does the goverment have crypto wallets for paying into? No seriously I want to know because so many people keep going on about crypto bring taxed. It can't be taxed how?
Please explain how crypto will be taxed?? At the end of the year I must send my crypto taxes to goverment controlled crypto addresses? You talk of capital gains. Capital gains on one currency to another?

So capital gains on trading eth to btc and back to eth again? So I make let us say 2X profit and I had 1btc now I have 2btc so now my gain is 1btc and capital gains is 10-21% so I must pay 0.10-0.21 btc?? To where exactly?
You pay vat tax when you buy anything anyway. If I buy a car with bitcoin I pay vat tax there is nothing else to tax. Crypto is not an offical currency of the govenment and noone is in control of it so it cannot be taxed.

The only way the goverment can tax crypto is if they create their own blockchain and currency and require people to be paid in that. Good luck with that though. Times have changed and the goverments have lost control.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not money on: May 22, 2019, 05:53:41 PM
Isn't money just something of value people trade between one another. It has value because we have agreed to give it value and allow us to carry with us currency. So we can trade with a few different currencies but by thousands of things. This way we don't need to carry thousands of things around because the "money" has a rating that can be exchanged for those things. That is all money is really.
853  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can explain to me in simple term what is KYC AML CFT? on: May 22, 2019, 05:35:56 PM
Wow some people know so very little. KYC= I am gonna scam the shit put of you/hold your money till you give me your KYC/sell your KYC/visit you at night an murder you/exploit you/threaten you/ blackmail you.

KYC is for authorties and banks. End of story.

You can ask for KYC untill the cows come home but noone has to give it to you. I suggest you stay away from anything that asks for KYC.

Your bank can have your KYC and your goverment for your ID and tax forms and drivers license. Large finicial institutions go through KYC but they have authority. KYC is not new it's been here forever. YOu take KYC when you open a bank account for example.

If you give your KYC to some random person who started an ICO(anyone can start an ICO and claim KYC) do not give it to them please. It has nothing to do with crime or money laundry.
Criminals launder big money. No criminal will launder $500 that is just stupid. Criminals launder 10k plus so if they use that tired excuse and say they need your KYC for $200 then go somewhere else because that is not very professional. There is no legal reason to be asked or given KYC. Go ask your local police station what they think and they will look at you funny for even thinking of giving personal info. Infact I bet your local police station encourage people not to give out personal info.

I mean hello people even as a child we taught not to give out our personal info. I don't know why this still needs to even be explained or why people still give their KYC.

Btw do you know how horrible identity theft is?? Having your identity potentially stolen just to prove to some stranger you not a criminal?? Besides many people send fake KYC so who knows what is real or not. A real criminal would bypass this anyway so its pointless. Just collecting personal info waiting to be stolen.

857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think ? Is this an opportunity to get in or get out on: May 20, 2019, 03:00:10 PM
Please stop talking about bubbles. When people start talking about bubbles I just want to tell them that their head is a bubble. You believe or you do not as simple as that. Follow through if you believe and use action not words. Buy and hold and use bitcoins instead of fiat.

Bitcoin has become more popular in the financial world due to its sudden growth but When I see exchanges there is a high percentage of people who are trying to sell there Bitcoins to make temporary gains using current price increase and some fear this is a temporary situation so they use this moment to abandon the market but My personal opinion is they doesn't understand this is a time that any investor should invest more into Bitcoins because after along time BTC has shown us it is not a Bubble or just another financial failure so as investors we should have a clear understanding in order to make this opportunity an advantage
There is nothing wrong in having a trade, there will be people booking profits and people buying all the time, so what do you think is a optimal situation, a situation where people only buy bitcoin  Cheesy , if that is the case we will see the price of bitcoin going high all the time and that is not a realistic situation in any market situation, glad that there is a huge liquidity and nothing else, if there is no liquidity in the market, the entire market will stall. Tongue

In the long term like 5-10 years we will all be rich anyway ^^
858  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tools Used by Hackers to Steal Cryptocurrency: How to Protect Wallets on: May 20, 2019, 02:55:46 PM
Nice article. There is also a particularly nasty malware I feel I must mention. Thank goodness I only lost a few $$$ but you can lose a fortune. It was an app I downloaded on the google app store. There are pc versions as well. Basically it replaces the clipboard with the thives address so when you scan the QT code you do not double check the address and think you safe but the software you use is malware. Never download funny unknown QR scanners. I use bitpay. Even though It is legit I still double even tripple check payment addresses no matter how I pay.

It doesn't have to be software/APP it can also be an infection on your pc that runs in the background and overrides any copy pasted address with the thieves. Very nasty stuff. Please add this to your list I would hate someone to lose money to this bs.
859  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning BTC Daily with faucets and Surveys etc. on: May 20, 2019, 02:43:24 PM
Faucets barely give you any BTC that you can really withdrawal after paying fees.

That problem is solved with all faucets / sites who use FaucetHub as microwallet, fees for withdraw is very low in that case.

Can you give me some directions for those faucets websites?
Few time ago I searched for faucets and found nothing that was worth my time or that didnīt look like a scam.

I can help you. Please look at this website https://faucet.thecrypt.xyz/ it has over 1000 faucets that are listed on FaucetHub so they are legit. You connect your coin addresses to FaucetHub and use them when filling a faucet. This list is great because you don't have to be logged into FaucetHub to use it and everything is all one under another ti going from website to website is fast and no need to bookmark or waste hours finding good faucets. They are also updated directly from FaucetHub every 24 hours using the FaucetHub API.

The next thing that people struggle with and is time consuming is to find where to get the wallets. If you go to https://faucet.thecrypt.xyz/ abd look at the navigation bar at the top there is a dropdown called "wallet links for caliming" these are the links to every wallet you will need to have every supported coin on FaucetHub and to use at https://faucet.thecrypt.xyz/

The links are to the official wallets and there is one multi wallet called exodus. Keep in mind it requires you to deposit before you can back it up but its no issue since you just need top cash out once from faucethub. But keeo this in mind, write it down somewhere so you don't forget.
860  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make bitcoin wallet and print out the private key? on: May 20, 2019, 02:34:28 PM
Hi. I need to create private key for bitcoin that I can print out. I have learnt about https://www.blockchain.com/ and https://www.bitaddress.org. What would you recommend?

Let me give you my sincere advice: Donīt start your journey in crypto trying to make a paper wallet.

You are clearly new in this ecosystem, and there is a lot to learn. Paper wallet to be secure need to be properly generated in an offline environment, which requires some skill.

I suggest that you begin with Electrum.org wallet and a hardware wallet if you can afford one (ledger nano).
But just try out electrum, learn how private/public keys work, study a little, and then try to make a paper wallet.

For now, you will be safer with electrum. Just my 2 satoshis

I agree with you and I don't know how trusted these paper wallers are. My what if's are..... How do we know the privatekey is not stored or saved by the software and send off somewhere to be collected and stolen at a later time in the future when your wallet is nice and fat?

I offer 2 options.

First is the easy one and works 100% and is safe. Simply get your privatekey and go offline (disconnect the cable or turn on wifi to make absolutely sure) the use anything to print the privatekey out in regular text then keep that page safe somewhere. I better way and more professional would be to do the same thing but with QR codes instead. Offline again and just generate your code of the privatekey as if it were regular text.

The next method is to use one of those official paper wallets (because they really nice and have tamper proof) Use the paper wallet software to make a blank template then import that template into another app and porint it out cut it out and fold it up. Remember do this offline.

Hope this helps.
