if you are using windows, enable view of file-extensions and double check, that your magi.conf is true "magi.conf" and not "magi.conf.txt"

delete blocks/ and database/ again, import blockchain from archive and retry again.

you should see 16 connections in your wallet with all these connect lines added. if not, something is wrong.

Followed your directions and the wallet synched up and I was able to the the repair. I then unlocked the wallet and it started minting.

Weird but after 15-20 minutes it fell behind on the blockchain and getpeerinfo and the icon says zero active network connections?

Also weird I have a green checkmark now as if the synch caught back up and yet it still says zero active connections?
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HYP] HyperStake | Generous Reward Staking | Advanced Staking Controls & Wallet on: August 16, 2017, 10:11:46 AM
I installed the latest wallet update and now windows has reported this: Trojan:Win32/Fuery.Z!cl in HyperStake-qt.exe

Windows quarantined the thing and of course now I can't open and run the wallet.

Has anyone else run into this?

Is the fix to downgrade the wallet to the previous version?

843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XMG] MAGI | CPU mining | mPoW | mPoS | [MagiPay] on: August 16, 2017, 10:06:08 AM
Yesterday I followed the directions here and updated and added the blockchain download and then I synched and began staking again like normal. This morning I get up and my Magi wallet was hours and hours behind on the synch and it isn't able to synch. I rebooted the wallet and checked the nodes in the .conf and everything seems okay.

I have these nodes in .conf

connect=213.32.21.37
connect=192.99.63.44
connect=89.34.96.133
connect=185.38.149.64

connect=95.211.209.73
connect=193.105.134.118

Any suggestions?

Me and other people are asking for very very simple help as in NODE IP's for BCH so we can synch the blockchain.
I would try the nodes used by Cryptopia which are publicly available:
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/CoinInfo/?coin=BCH
You can click on 'Connections:8' to see their active connections at this time:
addnode=35.158.208.170:8333
addnode=52.66.10.204:8333
addnode=91.121.183.128:8333
addnode=52.65.84.70:8333
addnode=37.59.46.194:8333
addnode=173.23.228.234:8333
addnode=106.14.210.42:8333
addnode=185.50.191.68:8333

Thank YOu!!!! so much Cheesy

Please add these to the website and the 1st thread of this ANN.  Tongue

One other question what is the correct name of the .conf file for ABC BCH wallet?

845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 15, 2017, 11:46:43 PM

It's of no value to me. I need to manually configure the .conf file with node that only support the BCH network and your provided link gives no list of IP addresses that I can add to my BCH .conf file.

Again, if BCH wants a loyal community of people to buy/hold/mine/ invest the first step will be to provide quick and valid answers to very very simple community questions like how the heck do we synch a wallet on this chain@!@@  Angry

This will be a reason why BTC is worth $4200 and BCH is worth $300.... you won't help people who wish to be a part...
oooooookay then...i just tried lol  Roll Eyes
sorry it wasnt what you needed...and with that attitude, im not going to try helping you anymore  Kiss

Thanks but you're no help. Me and other people are asking for very very simple help as in NODE IP's for BCH so we can synch the blockchain. And so far not one person has offered a solution. This says a lot about the coin BCH and if you look at other coins IP nodes are obvious in the ANN thread, website etc. and if anyone in the community asks for nodes people will provide them but unfortunately not here ugh. Again, if you want BCH to grow and value and have a loyal community you will need to understand that when people can't synch the blockchain and ask for help and nodes somebody will need to care and also provide helpful information.

Assistant needed: Cannot spend my BCC using standard wallets.

Using any of the windows desktop wallets and then importing my private key shows a zero balance, when block explorers show that I have a balance.

The wallet shows a Transaction for withdrawal on August 2nd using the Bitcoin blockchain, which is why there is a zero balance. The transaction is listed as confirmed yet the TXNID is of course not in the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.

Bottom line is I have a BCC balance but no wallet lets me spend it due to some TXN ID nonsense.

I would like to simply create a txn to move my BCC to another address using my private key. Any help appreciated.

Have you exported ALL private keys including your change addresses?

If block explorer shows correct balance, you are probably not on the right chain.

What is "any of the windows desktop wallets" exactly? They might be using blocks from the other chain/client.

I only exported the ONE private key that had my balance. I had sent all of my coins to one address two days before the fork. I have no idea how a BitcoinABC client can see a txn ID from Aug 2nd, which is on the Bitcoin chain.

I can import all of my private keys, but I don't think that is going to make a difference.

I suppose I may not be on the right chain. I installed Bitcoin Classic and on a brand new desktop, then spent two days downloading the chain. Maybe it pulled from the original chain and not the Bitcoin Cash chain. That seems to be the only reasonable explanation.

So how do I get my BitcoinABC client to point to get the correct chain?

Don't feel bad I have the same problem. I've installed the Bitcoin Classic wallet and redid the blockchain 3 times plus a reindex and still on the main bitcoin chain ugh. I've poured through this thread and the website and all the block explorers and I cannot find any node list anywhere. I also politely asked for help in this thread for some BCH nodes so I can get synched on the correct chain and be a part of the bitcoin cash community and not even one person has provided any help.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) sure has some big dreams for their coin to not be providing such simple answers/help to the community such as what are some proper nodes to get synched on the correct chain.... wow.

If you want me and other people to run a node to support the BCH network and you want me and other people to hold/buy/localwallet your BCH coin you need to politely provide answers to people such as myself and this quoted poster as to how we are supposed to synch to the BCH blockchain without wasting days and days of our valuable time.

I had my bitcoin classic wallet properly synched on the correct blockchain. After a few days and a restart I was surprised that it had become synched with the the old bitcoin blockchain?  Huh

I have two questions:

1. What is suppose to be the name of the configuration file for bitcoin cash? Huh.conf

2. Can someone supply me some addnode IP's so I can use the conf file to sych with the proper chain?

Lets make that 3 questions  Grin

3. Do I just drop a copy of my Bitcoin wallet.dat in the bitcoin classic wallet to be able to have my bitcoin cash coins?

What is best for staking BCC?

Should I use the coin control features and move all the coins into one big block?

Thanks for the kind words Smiley

Can anyone confirm whether or not this is the most recent wallet version?

Biblepay Core version 1.0.1.9 (64-bit)

For some reason after rebooting the wallet it gets stuck on the synchronization at 0 hours behind?

9% per annum paid out in proportion every 35 days OR 9% every 35 days?

Guys...plz help

I have bought some IncaKoins...and have them in my wallet...wallet is fully synced...what do I do to stake?  It shows 5 transactions...plz help guys!

@cryptohome welcome to the community and congratulations on your wise purchase!

No worries on staking as IncaKoin is a fabulous coin for staking  Tongue

You don't need to do a thing except have the coins in your wallet for about 35 days. The coin will stake approximately 9% roughly every 35 days or so.

Any other questions or issues please let us know as we want to help out as much as possible!

9% every 35 days and then the next 35 days you stake even more because you will be staking the coins you got from the last stake if that makes sense. Break it down per year and it's a ton of percentage gain. Let me throw together a quick worksheet and I'll come back and edit this post so you can get an idea of how the coin would stake across a years worth of time  Tongue and rest assured the yearly staking percentage is well above 100%!

One other thing. You can also play around with the blocks. For instance you can put every coin into one massive block and it would stake about every 35 days. You could also be creative and take all your coins and each day split them into a 1/35th block. A setup like that would stake pretty much every day if that makes any sense. From what I've been told most of the Inca stakers tend to keep all the coins in one massive block.

Q3 2018 - July, August, September

Multi language wallet: Chinese, English, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Russian, Bengali, Portuguese and French.
Seed word restore: Ability to restore wallet coins without any backup copies of wallet.dat.
iPhone/Android app: Full featured native apps built with phone gap.
64 binary - Win/Mac/Lin: 32 and 64 bit binaries will be available for the three major operating systems.
Master nodes: Switch to master node implementation to further secure the network.

I like the roadmap and there is so much work to do.
Two things to mess;
- I would also like to speak Romanian and Italian as a "Multi language wallet"
- The Master nodes, it looks very far.
we will be able to add things as we go forward but this is a project that is going to last. Let us get the basics done and we will have more information about the next phases. Cheers everyone. We love the feedback and it does help us point this project in the right direction.

Seremas that would amount to about 1/2 the time or about 15 days. That is something I hope we can have community discussions on and reach a general consensus prior to doing the coding  Grin
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NKA] INCAKOIN l Perú l Launched Aug 2013 | Roadmap released | on: August 01, 2017, 02:12:24 AM
hi,

In your roadmap, you said: "Online only staking: Nodes will only stake while connected to network."

Does it mean I will have to run 24H/24 my wallet for my coins to stake and earn more coins?

Seremas that code change is designed to help secure the network. As it stands now a person could open and sync the wallet once every 35 days and get the stake and then turn the wallet back off. The problem is that the stake reward is a benefit of helping to support and secure the network.

The way the code change should work is that the stake will be done in continuous increments 24/7 as long as the wallet is connected to the network and probably we will also have a minimum node connection count of like 4. So anytime that wallet is online and connected to at least 4 other nodes it will stake at the normal rate. Now if that box is off line then the staking will pause. So if you need to do updates or reboot or whatever the case may be you won't lose 35 days worth of staking but just lose for the time your not connected to the network.

The code hasn't been fully designed and written yet so it's always possible their could be tweaks to the final code depending on community feedback and other considerations.

IncaKoin RoadMap Q3 2017 - Q3 2018

A Few Quick Points

First of all we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has been a part of this coin. That includes those of you who contribute to the discussions, miners, stakers, and other contributors. Without your involvement this coin would not be experiencing the success of late! Now to quickly bring everyone up to speed, we want to remind everybody that IncaKoin is a stable - tried and proven 4 year old blockchain. Well - that's a bit of a stretch since the IncaKoin blockchain technically dates back to August 28, 2013 so honestly we have about 4 more weeks left until our 4th birthday.

With all that being said we have a lot of very exciting things planned and we are already getting items completed and checking them off the list as this post is being written.

Last but not least we would like to take this opportunity to give a quick shout out to @Cryddit who was nice enough to list us as a dead altcoin on April 28,2014. You can take a look at that thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=588413.0 Hopefully @Cryddit might catch wind of this post, our recent gains, our forward pointing agenda and then kindly remove IncaKoin from that dead altcoin list!

Truth is IncaKoin is alive and well! In fact just very recently if you were monitoring https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/incakoin/ you may have noticed that on several occasions we have made the top 10 list in terms of valuation gains! You can see some very interesting screenshots of that below:

Why Should I Care About IncaKoin?

We get it and we understand that there are more than 800  Shocked coins out there so why should you even care about IncaKoin? Well as already mentioned we're a stable and old blockchain that has stood the test of time. We also have a totally committed founder that has stuck by this coin and will see it through.

IncaKoin also has a great community and if you take a minute to look back through the board you'll find a friendly atmosphere of core supporters that are always working hard to resolve any problems and lend assistance. Finally, we feel that this coin has respectable specifications and a ton of potential to grow in valuation.

In short this coin stakes very well with good ROI at 9% every 35 days. It's also fairly easy to mine with inexpensive hardware right from the wallet. It's also a great buy at the moment and you could speculate very reasonable valuation gains as we move forward implementing the changes in our roadmap.
