Picked up a couple hundred TH on miningrigrentals.  Owner of the rig pushed it up to over 600 TH to ramp it up.  It's settling back down to the 200 I rented.  Yes I overpaid for it... But the gambler in me is hoping we hit a few blocks in the next 6 hours Smiley

Just rented some myself. I did good on what I rented the other day when we hit those back to back blocks. Hoping to repeat it again.  Wink

do take note, if possible rent those rigs as close as possible to your own node or whichever node that you may be mining at. high latency no good for p2pool.
I was renting on Westhash which the node is in the Chicago area, which I think would be about somewhat centered as far as east/west.

when was your last payout?
mine was almost a week ago.

I had a payment yesterday in full as I ran 1 S3 miner there to check on payments.
867  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Electrical questions on: February 07, 2015, 12:29:08 PM
Sure Smiley but what I calculated... I have to buy psu's for the sp20's and to have the same power than a sp35 , it would cost me pretty much more than buying sp35's and I would need approximately 3 sp20's to equal one sp35. So more outlets and space..:/ anyways I guess it won't cost a fortune to modify stuff... And I guess to be on the safe side it would be only one machine per outlet. I will get in touch with my electrician soon and give some feedback here if anyone needs help on approximate prices for parts etc...

Its always a toss up over what to buy. If the SP35 goes down your 100% down, if 1 SP20 of your 3 goes down, your only down 33%. Most here have been thru a lot of upgrading of equipment and we just sell off the older stuff but keep the PSU's to use on the newer  stuff.  So I like buying good quality PSU's and am still using the same one I had used on my BFL 60GH Single, then on my S1 and then S3 and now use it on my S5 miner.

So BAN are using hardware they haven't paid for to mine their own pool?

Why would anybody believe this from ONE FedEx proof of delivery to SOMEBODY in Las Vegas. It was not signed by s0br (Gil) and we have no idea what this one package had in it?
869  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Whatever happened to Bitcoin Affiliate Network? on: February 07, 2015, 12:06:36 AM
WTF is that all about Huh

Just a bunch of BS...

After a barrage of insults from s0br/ThePhwner & their multiple aliases,

Come on s0br/ThePhwner & all your fake alises - bring it on. Tell me I was wrong  Roll Eyes

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING THIEVING LYING POOL!!!

ThePhwner no longer works for BAN

You want me to believe Black Arrow?

Normally, no. This checks out though, follow the link supplied by them - here's the delivery confirmation, signed for by J Kerrigan - & I know who that person is  Wink

It sounds and looks like Black Arrows beef is with whom they sold it to? If that is Minersource then that is who they should go after. If Minersource sold it to someone in Las Vegas then that is whom Minersource should go after. I didn't know any equipment manufactures were shipping without payment first? Something does not sound right and unless you got some proof to backup what your saying I find it all hard to believe.

One other thing that stands out to me is why was all this equipment sent 3 different carriers? Why when I look up the one complete UPS number 1ZT6T450E140305549 I see that package went to CO? Hell all that ONE FedEx shows to me is s0br ( if that even went to him) may have bought something? It does not prove a dam thing! It does not prove any of that equipment was sent to him? What a joke

don't think the ping plays a roll but. i think our shares and payouts are doing well. these days

but we hope you continue to find coins after all that's the main goal here = )

The ping I get is still not as bad as going to the East or West Coast that I checked. As Arnold would say " I'll be back"

I just wanted to thank this node for peaking my interest in p2pool but I have tried another area node and I get a better ping. I get 75ms here and 51ms at the other. I will check back and still use this node as a backup.
While ping is certainly important, it's not the only factor you should use to determine whether or not to point your miners to a node.  Take a look at the node's efficiency, their getBlockTemplate latency, and their fees as well.
I have and it does seem I do better at this other one but maybe it's just me thinking it.

The Chicago node that I am using pings at 51ms.  Can I expect to do much better running my own node?
