861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MCL] MiracleCoin | No ICO | Proof of Faucet distribution | Traders Coin on: November 05, 2014, 05:37:28 PM
It has a future?

Yes, it does.  What that future is, is anybody's guess.   So far, I've found this is not a pump/dump coin, also not an ICO/ scram/ scam coins. no premine, although the dev readily admits to having a wallet or two open during the distribution phase.

He's already said, this is a weekend project, and not to expect updates when he has no news.  Personally, this is a good thing, you just get actual achievements and not a bunch of promises.   He has laid out a road map of where he plans to take the coin.

So if your patient, and the developer produces, the value could be great.  If you sell now, or the developer abandons ship, we could all be sunk.

5000%?Huh?

i staked around 6k since over 24 hrs and i got only 700 coins!

thats not 5000%

whats wrong

now i have no mature coins..

I would guess that 5000% is actually compounded interest for 1 year.  And once you stake, the coins used to stake have to mature for another 24 hours.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Snowballs | Do you have the BALLS for 5000% PoS!? | 5000% Staking is LIVE! on: November 03, 2014, 05:05:16 PM
hi

just one question. i dont understand.

If i have in my wallet 100 snowballs with 14h of age if i send some more to my wallet what appens ?

i sill have 100 with 14h of age

or i get 100 + some more i send a the age reset to 0h ?

b.r. maxximm  Huh
So far i know your 100 coins will stake first and new coins will stake later when they reach 24 hours. Let somebody correct it if i am wrong  Cheesy

That's the way it works. each collection will have it's own transaction date for staking.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Snowballs | Do you have the BALLS for 5000% PoS!? | 5000% Staking is LIVE! on: November 03, 2014, 04:19:47 PM
ok i just got my first stake i think, but ballance went to zero and it is not even showing in stake section, i hope that ballance and staked coins will reapear but from what i knew before when coins stake they show under stake which is not the case here ..anyoe same issue(if it is an issue)

I had the same problem with the balance not showing.  If you go to the debug console and enter getinfo you should see the coins.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMS, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Pearl, Recent Mandatory Update on: November 03, 2014, 05:12:15 AM
I completely forgot about this one.  I might have a BTC wallet that works with this.  What are the average amount coins sent to each wallet?  23?

I averaged 4.1 per.  But I didn't have much in any of my wallets.

Than my next question is this...what is the point for 4 clams?

No offense to the dev.  I remember when I first read about this and thought it was a novel idea.  It just seems like the effort to claim the clams is better spent elsewhere...

That was also for a very small balance, and the total for about 20 minutes work was 12.3 clams.  Plus this is a pretty active community and I'm a sucker for POS coins.  And I liked the way they did the distribution.    And as time goes on, and the value goes up, you might just decide it's now worth your time to dig up those clams.  Just hope you don't delete those wallets before that happens.

Whats wrong with faucet? It says no more free BALLS for you, try again later  Roll Eyes

I think you get one shot at it.  If you screw up the captca (like I did) you don't get a second chance.  And that captcha sucks.  First time I've seen one like that.  No explanation how to do it.  Took me 4-5 trys to figure it out.

Dear OC,

I sent coins from suprnova to my wallet 30 minutes ago,but I haven't received them in my wallet.

my suprnova account no: 1824, could you please help.

Best Rgrds,

Got a TX ID ?  Look in My Account / Transactions

Make sure your wallet is at the same block height like the pool.

A Block Explorer would be cool...
OC, also automatic payout is not working? I reached threshold but still not processed. I think ill not manually withdrawing until guys here say they received their coins Wink

Yes Automatic are not enabled yet.

I just restarted the Wallet as there were only 2 connection, now I have 9 connections, withdrawals should arrive much faster now.

My withdrawal just showed up 5 mins ago.  You must be on my chain (the right one Smiley ) now...

Staking starts tomorrow at noon GMT - New clients are already out, hard fork for lower, though still significant, fees to enable coin sending will go live very shortly. New clients are already out. If you haven't updated, you will no longer be able to connect to those of us who have once the fork goes live at 1414900800

What have the fees been changed to?

Ah damn you beat me to my edit just above you  Wink  It's in the OP, too, in parenthesis for others that need to know in the future

Correct me if I'm wrong.  That's 6.4 balls per transaction.   Minimum...

Dev? Any update?

I don't know where your located, but on the east coast of the USA the weekend is just starting.  It's 9AM Saturday morning here.  Still has 39 Hours left to this weekend.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MCL] MiracleCoin | No ICO | Proof of Faucet distribution | Traders Coin on: October 31, 2014, 04:53:18 PM
What makes you people think that a bot would increase the value of the coin?  You are making so many assumptions while watching your value drop.  Just sell it and rebuy at a lower price when this miracle bot gets announced.  That is how you minimize your losses.

I've still got about 20 that I got for free so if we decide it is worth 100k satoshi some day I will still be happy.

LOL. Do you think that a well distributed coin that allows to use a well done bot will have no value?  You are making a stupid assumption. The bot will affect the price for sure.

I am not assuming anything.  I asked a simple question, "What makes you people think that a bot would increase the value of the coin".  Your answers indicates to me that you seem to think that a bot will increase the value because I am stupid if I don't think a bot will increase the value.  Not really a convincing reason but you are correct that I am stupid so maybe you are right.

You are assuming several things. You are assuming that it dont hold any value and that you are able to buy in at a lower value.
There is not any bot released yet. He just started this coin. Stockmarkets hold the same truths, Its future values that is dictating coins value.
There are just 1 million coins so it can be hard to predict how low it can go. So if someone sells their coin then maybe they cant buy in before it rises higher. Because you are able to buy a bot with this coin means it holds the value that people want to spend on a working bot.

Then there is daytrader, short term investors, people that got free coins that want to sell. Some people want to buy in at the lowest point.
But all this you should already know. Its better for you to stay away from alt coins because its wild west and unregulated and you dont understand the inner workings..

I got some free coins and I dont sell them. I buy his bot when its ready from my given coins. It takes some time to code a bot, but I can waite for it.

So once again, the reason you think the bot will increase the value of the coin is...... what exactly?  You didn't sell the majority of your FREE COINS when this shit was at 15k and you have convinced yourself that was the right move.  Think about that.  Or don't.  I really could not care less.

A Bot would be the first thing of real value that a crypto coin has produced (in my opinion, and as a trader).  What value does any other coin have?  Most coins that you can actually spend are tied to very volatile markets.  You can't count on those to retain there value. and as far as the latest tech wiz bang feature?  That won't matter to 99% of the target audience.

Since we don't know what the new trading bot will be, it's still open to speculation.  I'm actually more excited about the BOT market place.  This is supposed to be a platform that other developers can create customer Bot's for sale.   You can almost compare MCL with windows.  It can provide the platform for others to expand on.

Is there any more word on the ICO quoted at the following url?
http://mmxivcoin.com/forum/index.php/topic,2.0.html
It's on the backburner for now while we work on the Snowball. We may or may not do the anonymous chain. The amount of interest in anonymous chains within the M community has faded significantly, so we are unsure as of right now
Ehhh, I have been buying so that I can swap for new coins. Now that launch is postponed, is the staking continuing beyond Nov1?
Please update the OP so it is clear to everyone what is happening and I can take action such as moving coins from exchange to wallet
for staking, instead of leaving them on the exchange for sending them to the burn address.

OP says offline staking will end Nov, 1st.  I understanding that to mean wallet staking will continue as normal.

Can anyone explain how the Clams staking works.  I have a basic to a little advanced understanding of staking, but this isn't making sense to me.
How does the wallet decide which pile of coins to try to stake?  Or is that something done on the block chain?

My question relates to the following.

I have 2 piles of clams I setup at exactly the same time.  Both piles had 4 clams in them.  One pile has already staked twice, the other has yet to stake.  So I'm assuming something is random somewhere.  I'm looking at coin control sorting on confirmations.  I currently have a pile of 5 and a pile of 4 clams with almost 22K confirms.  I also have a pile of 7.7 clams and that is      21K confirms.  All other coins are smaller piles with 19K or less confirms.  I'm assuming (and we all know where that can get me) that the weight is based on the time (confirms) and the size of the pile.  But for some reason the last few stakes have been for piles in the lower portion of piles.  IE less confirms and less size then the 7.7 clams at 19K confirms.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MaryJane the Chill, Sexy & Secure Coin...[ANN|MARYJ] on: October 30, 2014, 06:31:52 PM
so what's the total coins then, 51... or 15... mil?
Its 15mil, 34-35 mil destroyed many days ago.

Why do you ask this question?  Huh Huh Huh

because i want to know how deep i am into this economy yo?

First page of the form, the website and Crypto marketcap has that answer for you. And I get called a fool simply for asking if anyone has heard anything new from Adam. Bullshit..

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/maryjane/

thanks rabbit! do we happen to know when will the last coin be created? (Adam Thursdays he's in the lab preparing wax i think)

Never.  2% per year, as long as the coins lasts.  You have to have an incentive to keep the network running.  In this case the network is the wallets staking the coin.  I don't know the commonly used figure for coin loss, but I'll bet it's close to the 2% value.

Also that is 2% of the coins staking in wallets.  Not all coins.

i sent 2 PMs, first 10 august, second 5 october and did not get any response or partial payment until today, seems that not everyone will get a refund from btcarbs Sad

Did you send him all of the info he was looking for?  I would keep trying.  Last update from him, was that he's gone through all PM's and was starting the second round of payouts.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MCL] MiracleCoin | No ICO | Proof of Faucet distribution | Traders Coin on: October 30, 2014, 04:56:17 PM
I think Bittrex listed this coin to soon.  They should have waited till there was at least one bot available.  This coin can't hit their volume until we have a little more substance and the price is quite a bit higher.  Right now it's all speculation, and the price is set that way.  Most folks feel this is a win and are holding their coins, so at a low price and low available coins your going to have low volume.

But if the dev can somehow have an in wallet peer/peer trading system that would be really cool.  This is not something that is planned, so don't buy coins based on it.  This was just an idea that came to me while typing this reply.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MCL] MiracleCoin | No ICO | Proof of Faucet distribution | Traders Coin on: October 30, 2014, 03:45:54 PM
There is little buy support left

Sell walls coming up. One big sell and this coin will be pretty much dead. Not enough volume either. Its poised for delisting next month if it goes on like this.

dev I feel bad for myself for believing in this coin's potential.

Part of the problem is the believers won't sell at the bad price (who can blame them), there are only 29,000 of 1,000,000 coins on the market for sale, and people trying to buy more than will ever be made.

There are another 67K for sale over on C-cex.  Just sounds like FUD to me.  Another person trying to scoop up coins cheap.  This coin will always be poised for de-listing.  There are not enough coins out there to cause the kind of turn over the exchanges are expecting.  A lot of holders believe in it.  And this is not a hand holding pump and dump coin.  Don't expect hourly updates, or even daily one.  Dev seems to update once a week.  And new code comes when he feels it's ready to go.  Nothing pushed out to manipulate the price.

And don't feel bad for believing.  Sell your coins, there are buyers waiting.  You'll feel better. Smiley

Hardly FUD when i was defending the coin.  so around 1/10th of coins are on exchange, that still not a huge amount,

Sorry Aaron,  That's the problem with Multiple quotes.  I meant the first quote was mostly FUD.  I don't know where he got the info that the coin was poised to be de-listed.  But that is just trying to play on peoples fears.  The F in FUD....

I really wanted to comment on both posts (your just to point out C-Cex volume).  Again I didn't mean to imply you were fudding.....
