861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: January 30, 2019, 06:53:57 PM
I do check coinmarketcap almost everyday to know the status of my cryptocurrencies either they are improving or dropping down. Sometimes several times for day.

You can use application to alert you if your tokens being pumped or dumped hence you can save your time from such routine. There are many applications on playstore you can use. I use coinmarketcap not so often and if I will access it, it is just to see the informations of coins that interests me.
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 30, 2019, 02:57:41 PM
After Manchester City failed to get point from the last game against Newcastle United, there is now an opportunity for Liverpool to distance themselves from the pursuit of MCT. I think Liverpool will not meet a significant obstacle tonight since they will play at Anfield.
863  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome my fear and how to start trading? on: January 30, 2019, 10:43:06 AM
Hi I am just new in the trading, I just want to ask how to overcome my fear in trading and what should I do to start trading. I also want to trade with a short term cause I need to earn daily for my daily needs can someone help me and give some that I used to start my trading now.

You can use the money that will not harm you and your finances if you lose it. I guess, it can reduce fear. Short-term trading means you have to sacrifice most of your time in front of your device and you must make the target either up or down. Do not place a higher percentage of short-term profits, 10% or even less than that is enough.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predictiing Cryptocurrency price.. Is it possible? on: January 29, 2019, 07:11:34 PM
As you know, the cryptocurrency market can see huge changes in a matter of few minutes, making it very unpredictable. However, there are some fundamental factors which can influence the prices of any cryptocurrency. Prediction of Cryptocurrency future price are base on two factors 1) Historical price trends
(2) Historical volume trends. So,  there can not be a single and concrete prediction of any Cryptocurrency because of the very nature of cryptocurrency.

What is your view about Cryptocurrency price?

Prediction is an effort that we do based on the knowledge we have to maximize our profits in crypto currencies. But unfortunately, not all predictions will be correct, but at least we have tried and continue to believe in our own predictions. I think there will be another bull one day and that is why I try to hold my coins especially bitcoin as long as I can. I can be right and I can be wrong but I am prepared for the worst one.
865  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best coin for long term investing on: January 29, 2019, 05:11:00 PM
You don't need to do a lot of technical analysis while you invest in long-term. Because it is really easy to find the money that is suitable for long-term investment. In my opinion, it is the volume of one of a few features that should be long-term money. Second feature sought is the strong impact it has on society. According to these features, you can even know the which coin is best selection; bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin.

Yes, it should be easy to choose which coins are best for long-term investments. Coins that have been around for a long time and proven to be able to survive in every condition are the best coins we can take. Bitcoin is one of them. Instead of investing in new coins, bitcoin will be much better!
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The danger is the addiction, not the odds on: January 29, 2019, 12:20:42 PM
People must only gamble with amounts they can afford to lose. It sounds stupid but it’s that simple.
An addict don't follow any rule. Once they have money they want to multiply it. Eventually they lose it and go back to the home empty handed. Once people get addicted they don't analyse much they just see the odds and place their bet.

I can tell that because I was addicted to gambling. I lost a lot but used to felt nothing at all. I used to place bet just seeing the odds.
You're right, It's the urge to bet and thinking that you can profit big by that odds or that bet. Once a addict lose they're not going to stop they and think the ways to get that money back and bet again. As for me at first i just looking at the odds but not analyzing that things could turn out not well but that is gambling.
And history says they always fail. Gambling is okay as long as it's fun but when it cross the fun limit then it's driving you to the wrong direction. You will find your destiny once you are totally broke, bankrupted and lost all the relationships.

Gambling is about mood. Even though gamblers have a steady plan by not playing with the amount they can't afford to lose, but when the bad mood came, the plan can be broken. Though it is not always, but based from what I've seen, the tendence for such case to happen is big. Playing gambling is like playing with fire, we can be burned even with a small mistake.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No Regrets in cryptocurrency on: January 28, 2019, 06:08:58 PM
Due to the volatility of the market and the possibility of missing out in great profit, we tend to regret our decisions and wish we had made a different choice. We all have reasons to regret, but it's best we appreciate every move made. I've come to realise that every disappointment is a step towards greater success. Every experience is essential towards getting a wholesome knowledge about the industry. Success won't be appreciated, if nothing like failure existed. We need to be knowledgeable on all sides and appreciate every opportunity and experience the cryptocurrency space has to offer. Let's enjoy the ride in its entirety.

Failure is part of every process and indeed regret must be there when we make one or more wrong decisions. But failure is unavoidable and we must use it as a whip to make better decisions in the future. I myself have some regrets too because I made many wrong decisions in the past but I have to move on. There are still many opportunities and I will never stop hoping.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 28, 2019, 05:15:34 PM
I am going with this parlay whats your view about this
Arsenal
Everton
Wolves
Man Utd
Man City   Smiley

I won't trust Everton too much,  I'd just have everton on over 1.5 goals and then remove wolves. I could also be tempted to have both Man City and Manchester Utd on -1.5 handicap with an increased bank roll.

Indeed, Everton performance isn't good this season but in the next game they will meet with the weakest team in Premier League. I don't thik that Everton will waste this good chance to collect more points. Btw, the parlay above, looks good. I may follow it, if it gives a suitable odds.
869  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time To Exit Trading on: January 28, 2019, 04:15:00 PM
Nobody controls the market and this is the reason why nobody should be greedy when trading. In any business, if you can make a 30% profit, then that is a good deal. Take whatever that is on top and leave before the seen profit turns to a loss.

Yes, we must have a target every time we do trading, otherwise we might lose the opportunity to make a profit. I know some people who keep holding their coins when the bull happens at the end of 2017 and now they are regretted due to the current conditions. Exit as soon as we hit our targets!
870  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm loosing. What to do? on: January 28, 2019, 10:46:55 AM
What to do now when things get worse every day, only hold will help us? Who is trying to survive in such a market? Your advice, friends!

Hold may be better but you must be patient until the increase comes again and it can take a very long time. You can also cut losses while waiting for the right time to trade again. Both has its respective risks btw. Tbh, it will be so hard to make the right decisions at current state especially for those who already lost some money from their investment values.
871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A quick cancellation can make a profit? on: January 27, 2019, 06:42:35 PM
Do we sometimes think that as soon as we get up, we did a good thing and we will not lose. Sometimes it's better to retire, the only way to save profits, if we see that it does not work for us and the day of happiness is not with us. It was enough for me, the two hands of my cards were bad and nervous. I got up, lost some money, what is the next thing I should do?

I'm interested in your thinking and a lot of help for the next time

When you have a feeling that today will be your bad day in gambling, that means you are in a bad mood and it is better to stop till you can get your good mood again. Tbh, when we are in a bad feeling, then we tend to make some decisions badly too. Clear mind or good mood is something that take a big role in our gambling actions.
872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: failure to gain profit on: January 27, 2019, 03:47:04 PM
The crypto market is currently very unstable. I am easily affected, in panic selling conditions like now I sometimes sell bitcoin at a price lower than the purchase price. The result is a fatal loss.

So far, I have only relied on news information obtained from forums and social media and a little understanding of the foundation of price charts and market movements to make investment decisions in Bitcoin.

Then what is the way so that I can make a big profit ...?

How to effectively avoid unnecessary losses ...?

Patience is the key. When we face a downward trend most of us will panic and tend to make rage decisions that can give bad results. Stay calm and wait for the best time to sell our coins. With patience at least we can make decisions that are reasonable and not based on emotion alone.
873  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A better way to invest in cryptocurrency. on: January 27, 2019, 09:23:51 AM
I know a lot of people who quitted their day job to trade in the cryptocurrency market.
But it was when the market was good.
In this bear market, they're struggling very hard to survive.
So I think the best way to invest is this :
Have a side job, cut down your expenses, then invest 10-20% of your monthly income in the market. This way you never have to worry about gain and loss and surely you have higher chance of getting rich because the market will recover in the long run!

The important thing is we shouldn't quit our job just to be a trader. Using only small part of our montly income to try our luck in trading would be better instead of staking our future just in it. It depends on each person on how to manage their financial for both daily life and investment, but we shouldn't risk everything in a thing that is still uncertain. I agree with you in term of investing 10-20% of our montly income into crypto currency as long as it won't disturb our daily needs.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: January 26, 2019, 10:54:33 AM

We tried this before but not on video games rather its from an actual sport .

its basketball . i and my friends play a normal game just to past the time and to have a bonding but we sometimes add some twist like betting some cash . its only a small amount so that the winning team can buy a snacks like junkfoods and softdrinks  after a tiring match   .

This kind of gambling is not for a purpose of earning a money or for profiting but its for the sake of having fun  .

Such games are very common here and to this day some of my friends still do it. Badminton is the game that often being used as the medium. Two pairs of groups will compete and whoever loses must set up drinks and foods. Cash is also often used as a betting tool. Stakes are usually intended to make the sport's game more stressful and they didn't do it too often.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Unforgettable Gambling Stories... on: January 26, 2019, 03:04:52 AM
As what the subject says, lets have a new discussion here (Well maybe not)
So let me start first:

This isn't actually mine but my friend's story and I was just a chaperone that time. We're on this gambling game called "Guessing Game" (Three caps and one penny) which you can mostly see on carnivals. We have seen this game with a big crowd of people betting on every cap that they seem to be their lucky bet.

And because of the winning pots, my friend has been demonically lured into it. We noticed that there something wrong with the shuffler, he's dynamically cheating. My friend took a bet on it and we're sure where it resides, but the shuffler talked to him and during that time he shuffled again as fast as he can without us noticing it. And of course, we lost that game. Can't even tell the cheating thing publicly for we didnt have the evidence.

And after that, we didn't play any games at the carnival until now. We just enjoyed the seats, rides and foods.

What's yours?

Playing games at carnivals or in similar crowds held by strangers is of course prone to cheating. I often see this and even they consist of a group of people who have their respective duties. And without us knowing it, these people in the game are ready to pounce on our money if we are affected to try it. They have many tricks to cheat us and they sometimes can act like a magician. Don't try to play the game at such places!
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the house always win???? on: January 25, 2019, 01:23:22 PM
More balance, more chance to get wins and need more luck about that, that's gambling, everything needs luck. Often strategies not working and also other tips, in gambling., for me it's hard to get win which's planned, let alone try to against the house until always win.

The perception that house always win is wrong. If it was true, then why still many people are playing gambling. I think gambling is also profitable for the players as it is profitable for the house itself. The thing to note is that both gamblers and casino are increasing day by day. This is only due to the reason that gambling is beneficial for the both.

Greedy is a trait that we often encounter in gambling. Most gamblers, especially the addicts, will always return to the gambling places regardless of the results they get. Of course there is limit that will stop them from gambling, namely bankruptcy. Whereas the upper limit is not there. People can win today, but they will play again at a later time and so on until they meet the lower limit. That is the other advantage of casinos besides the house edge. Indeed, there are gamblers who are able to benefit, but in general, most of them will fail and the house will always win. It will depend on us how to manage our gambling habits so it won't hurt us in the future.
877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many speculators in the cryptospace? on: January 25, 2019, 09:49:56 AM
the cryptospace is filled with lots of speculators who from time to time try to speculate price of bitcoin or what willl happen to bitcoin. This has so far left so many heart broken and even lost so much money as when they thought bitcoin price will go up, it goes down. i think we should all stop speculating and just watch the market.

Speculators give an impact on the market and without them I don't think the market will be like today. After all, we don't know what will happen to prices in the future and that's why we can consider most traders are speculators. And if we just watch the market without doing anything, we will get nothing!
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Outside risk: similarities between gambling and trading? on: January 24, 2019, 04:52:17 PM
I Think risk and reward are the two similarities between gambling and forex, stocks and cryptocurrencies trading. For those that have been doing trading and gambling what did you notice as a similar among the two and through experience how much have you made from the both?

Because I only use cryptocurrency for gambling and trading purposes, I have the following conclusions. In some cases, gambling and trading may have something in common. It is when we take actions based solely on our feeling that we get when we overseeing the price movements. Mostly the decisions will be taken shortly.

One thing that I think makes them different is the duration of the end result of an action we take on both. Gambling is an action whose results will be immediately known and we cannot do anything else when the results are out. Whereas in trading, we have the freedom to determine our respective choices, when we will end our session. For example, today we buy bitcoin at a price of $ 3580 and a few days later, the price drops drastically. At that time the final result will be determined by ourselves. Whether we will cut loss it or keep holding it until the asset value increases again.
879  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What about your trade? on: January 24, 2019, 03:45:02 PM
I found lot of traders who bought a special coin from many exchange site. Then few months they go for sleep and wake up after 5 years. So now what about your trade?

I definitely can't do it! I tend to check my portfolio regularly now and every time I get enough profit, I will sell my coins. I really can't let my investment unmonitored. People from the past who bought coins and could leave them for a longer time, mostly because the price was very cheap at that time. If the investment involves a relatively good amount of money, I don't think we will leave it for 5 years or more.
880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware Bitcoins Email Hack is going viral. on: January 24, 2019, 02:20:34 PM
Ignore all emails from strangers even though they look very attractive. There are a lot of weird emails coming into my inbox almost every day, but fortunately, I have never been interested in opening one of them. This trick, sending emails to random people for fraudulent purposes, is very common nowadays and we must be very careful.
