Barcelona is planning a move for Manchester City's Erling Haaland in 2025:
Barcelona are said to be interested in a future deal to sign Erling Haaland.
The 90min report claims Haaland has a £150 million release clause that runs until 2025, and Barca wants to activate that clause.
The Blaugrana are far from being able to afford this situation, but they can plan accordingly two years in advance, as Robert Lewandowski's salary should also come off the books. Because he will be getting old and Barcelona could take their replacement as Manchester City player Erling Hallond. [1]

Erling Haaland would be open for new adventures after his release clause on his contract becomes active. Because as far as I know his father said that Haaland is eager to play for different big teams during his career. Hence he would be willing to listen to offers from other top teams in a few years the most. Barcelona would be an option for him as well of course. Because Lewandowski is already 35 years old and it is doubtful whether he would play here much longer.

Barcelona had better make their financial condition solid until then so they can make a record-breaking offer for Haaland.

I was surprised by not seeing Ronaldo against Luxembourg. It was just the game for him as he could have made even a hat-trick probably.  Grin  It was a really incredible effort by Portugal. I mean Luxembourg collected 10 points until this match. But when it comes to facing Portugal they can't do anything good just as it happened before as well.

Today there is an important match for Group C. If Italy win against Ukraine they are taking the second position from them. It was unexpected for me to see Italy struggling against North Macedonia once again. But I think Spalletti will start doing a good work by winning against Ukraine today. What do you think about Spalletti's future at this team?

Lyon has officially parted ways with Laurent Blanc. It seems that the rumors a few days ago have finally been answered and with this Lyon will immediately look for a new coach to fill the vacant coaching chair. Laurent Blanc was fired by Lyon after a poor start to the season, suffering many defeats and eventually placing them at the bottom of the standings. At this time it has not been confirmed that an interim coach will be appointed in the near future and considering that this week Ligue 1 has started again, Lyon must move quickly before they suffer another bad result.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1701240619279032749

I have mixed feelings about this decision by the board. A part of me says that this is the right call considering Laurent Blanc's not being able to make much improvement since the previous season. You know they couldn't qualify for any European competition due to their bad placement. This season started horrible for them as well.

The other part of me questions this decision about if it was too early to sack him. But I guess they did the right thing because Lyon's statistics so far have been really poor. A team like Lyon deserve to be managed much better than this. They should be competitive for top 6 to achieve something this season.

There is still a rumour about Jadon Sancho to leave by the way. Because it is said that he still hasn't figured out a solution for the issues between him and Erik ten Hag.

However even if he decides to leave and the team also don't make difficulties for him I don't know what team can sign him. I mean the transfer window for the Qatari league is still open as far as I know but it is like the only one now. Even Saudi Arabia isn't an option for him currently. He would need to wait for at least January.

I don't know what you think about this but I think it would be the best for Sancho to leave in this situation.
887  Local / Ekonomi / Re: Hani Faiz sebep enflasyon neticeydi? on: September 11, 2023, 11:18:40 AM

Something is going wrong with them and I wonder if they can solve an important part of their problems until the group matches start. If they don't then this group might turn out to be really interesting.  Smiley
It needs time for manchester utd to solve its problems. It will not be easy task for them to leave from so many allegations toward its players and the club.
I would like to see galatasaray to be qualified for play off stage rather than manchester united. Galatasaray potentially beat manchester united to finish at the second spot.

You can imagine if ten hag will put meguire and evans in the game.

If we see Maguire in the starting eleven of Manchester United then Galatasaray's getting a positive result against them would be more likely.  Grin

I don't expect Manchester United to rotate their starting eleven in the first match they play against each other though. But the next time they are facing each other is on match week 5. Maybe then we can see Manchester United making a rotation. I'm just waiting for especially both matches between these teams as these ones will be the decider about the second position.  Smiley

Galatasaray need to improve their defending until the tournament starts by the way. Otherwise I won't be hopeful about them much.

European teams must be really relieved after end of the transfer window in Saudi Arabia today. Because Saudi teams have been making really big difficulties for European teams for a long time. This summer they have been the most talked teams with the transfers they have made.
I don't think European teams should be too worried about the amount of money that these Saudi clubs are willing to spend, it is not as if the European clubs are losing the best players to Saudi, most of the players moving there are either above 30 or their time in Europe was already up, players like Haaland, Mbappe, Rodri, Saka, Bellingham, etc, can never think about Saudi Arabia. Quality/high level football will remain in Europe and nothing is about to change that.

I hope you are right about this and we don't have to watch superstars like Mbappe, Haaland and more in Saudi Arabia at early ages. I was really worried about the possibility of Mbappe's accepting Al-Hilal's offer for example. They offered a one-year contract though but still I would like to watch him in Europe until quite old ages just as we watched Messi and Ronaldo like that.

However if UEFA decide to accept Saudi teams also into their organizations then things might get more interesting. Then I would wonder if these players also think about signing for Saudi teams and play in the Champions League while making a lot of money at the same time.
891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 08, 2023, 07:50:20 PM
Group A is really challenging for especially Copenhagen and Galatasaray. We haven't seen any match in the group stage yet maybe but I'm theoretically speaking now. Bayern Munich have a big potential to win all of the matches. Manchester United are a little unbalanced these days. Actually a little wouldn't be the right definition because they didn't have a good start to the season in the EPL. Lastly they lost to Arsenal by the goals they conceded in the stoppage time.

Something is going wrong with them and I wonder if they can solve an important part of their problems until the group matches start. If they don't then this group might turn out to be really interesting.  Smiley
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 08, 2023, 07:39:52 PM
Stuttgart has changed since last season. They won both home games in the Bundesliga and now they have also won a test match. They played 8:3 against St. Gallen. If you consider that last season they had to go to the relegation and fought against relegation for almost the whole season.

I couldn't agree more about Stuttgart's look this season. They have started to do something better in offense especially and they are getting efficiency from this a lot now. They demolished a team like Freiburg by 5-0 recently. This isn't a thing that you can do with just luck. They were very efficient about making use of their shots on goal. Nearly all of them ended with goals I mean.

But the important point is about how long they can maintain a good work. Can they be a team like Union Berlin? You know how impressive Union Berlin were last season. We are going to watch them perform in the Champions League this season.  Smiley

It was really surprising for me to see USA losing to Germany honestly. USA didn't bring many superstars to this tournament though but they were still the strongest team on paper. If USA used the balls better in the last moments they still could have won the match.

USA bring their superstars for the Olympics mostly. If they do the same for the World Cup as well I can't even imagine how strong they could be.  Grin  I would really like to watch players like Steph Curry here. He would be really unstoppable. Anyway when it comes to who can win the tournament now I think it will be Serbia.

European teams must be really relieved after end of the transfer window in Saudi Arabia today. Because Saudi teams have been making really big difficulties for European teams for a long time. This summer they have been the most talked teams with the transfers they have made.

They were leaving European teams in a difficult situation in multiple ways. They weren't only going for the same targets with European teams. They were trying to steal their most valuable players at the same time. For example Al-Ittihad tried their best to get Salah but Liverpool resisted their every offer.  Smiley   As long as Saudi teams don't have a requirement of abiding by FFP rules European teams have a really bad future about transfers.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 07, 2023, 05:09:11 PM
When it comes to PSG's chance in their group it is quite high on paper. But we can't think of this situation from a plain point of view. PSG have made some changes in their squad. Especially the attacking area is quite different than before. Mbappe is the only member left there in the starting eleven. The names they have brought to the team are really skilled attackers in fact. But it looks like they need more time to start showing their usual performances.

Attacking power is everything for PSG. Mbappe's responsibility is even bigger now. Newcastle, Dortmund and Milan are all tough opponents. This group is open for a surprise so PSG had better stay solid as a team.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 07, 2023, 04:59:40 PM
Paris Saint Germain player Kylain Mbappe has extended his contract with the team until 2025, this was said by the club President Nasser Al-Khelaifi. The french forward holds Paris Saint Germain a great favour cause he is one of the best player in the planet.

https://www.reuters.com/lifestyle/sports/mbappe-signs-contract-extension-with-psg-until-2025-2022-05-21/

Moreover the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar has all departed and have been replaced by Ousama Dembele and Randal Kolo Muani. Paris Saint Germain did all they could to pin Kylain Mbappe in the team which is a good one for them, having him is an asset to club. The French national team consist of Paris saint Germain forwards Kylain Mbappe, Ousama Dembele, Randal Kolo Muani and some other players who will play in a Euros 2024 qualifications match and also a friendly match against the Germans.
After that the French forwards and other players will be back to the club and may be tired causing fatigue in the team in the match against Nice in the French league. Nice have not lost any game this season, but have drawn three of their games which means they have a fairly strong defense. PSG may struggled to win that game.

First of all the date of this news is May 21, 2022. Moreover it isn't even telling the truth.  Cheesy  His contract is still until the summer of 2024.

But one thing is true that PSG are still in talks with Mbappe to extend his contract. They are trying their best to find a way to convince him for another season. But for now Mbappe still remains adamant on not accepting their offer. I just feel like this time it won't be easy for PSG to convince him like the last time. Real Madrid and Liverpool options are on the table for Mbappe on one hand.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 07, 2023, 04:54:01 PM
This season Inter, Milan and Juventus all want to be competitive for the Serie A title. At least the kind of start these teams have made is telling me that. I don't exclude Napoli from this competition of course. I already see Napoli as one of the biggest title contenders. Losing to Lazio doesn't change anything and this loss happened last season as well by the way.

But it feels like Juventus might be likely to have problems after some time again. Their look in the last season was really worrying and I'm not sure yet about if they have solved the most of their issues. On the other hand they won't compete in any European competition this season. Hence they can concentrate on the Serie A easier. I think they will manage to finish in top 4. What is your opinion?
899  Local / Konu Dışı / Re: 2023 BALLON D'OR ADAYLARI on: September 07, 2023, 04:37:33 PM
Cristiano Ronaldo'nun listede yer almamasını beklemiyordum.

I think that it would be much better for Sevilla to go down to the Europa League rather than continuing in the Champions League.
LOL. You think it's that easy to go down to the Europa League? Sevilla also wants to be in the Champions League even though many doubt it like you, let's just wait until the group stage rolls around.

Sevilla have already started poorly to the season. On paper they got a lucky draw in the Champions League. But considering their effort these days I don't expect them to do better than Arsenal and PSV both. They can just make sure to get as many point as possible from Lens to consolidate the 3rd position.
I know Sevilla this season started badly including in LaLiga with 3x matches lost, it can be widely assumed Sevilla will not qualify we will never know Sevilla's game in the Champions League sometimes it will surprise like in the Europa League last season.

I don't have any big expectation from Sevilla in the Champions League honestly. That's why I think the best thing for Sevilla would be to move on in the Europa League after the group stage. Considering how much successful Sevilla have been in the Europa League they can earn much bigger amount of potential income there at the same time.

Winning the Europa League title would be much better for Sevilla compared to reaching last 16 in the Champions League. This is my prediction about them for this season.
