881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the way to Prosperity for a Determined Dreamer on: August 10, 2023, 08:02:37 AM
You have a good teacher giving you a cell phone so that you can make good use of your cell phone.

I think your teacher is a BTC investor I think you can add knowledge about BTC to him, by investing in BTC of course you can potentially get profits in the future, provided you also have to be prepared for the risk, because we won't know the price of BTC in the future front. By using half of the money you have from your hard work to invest in btc, of course that is a good thing because investing in btc will be very good if you use idle money.
Well that's one hell of a rare teacher, there are millions of teachers who still reason by the old ways, go to school, become a lawyer or a doctor, I am thinking that this teacher is a smart one, his way of reasoning is surely not like the others.

I expect someone like him to tell OP to face his or her studies and stay away from anything that's not government-approved, he is lucky he have a good teacher, if not, he would have been discouraged.

Let's hope his plan goes perfectly executed and his dream comes true, I have all my hopes on Bitcoin too, and can't wait for 2025 to bring me amazing gains.
882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 10, 2023, 07:19:51 AM
I expect this to affect those who are not from very harsh countries where your only chance of survival is money, I will never feel like this if I made a big amount of money from investment, I am expecting six figure in the next bull market, after waiting for years and accumulating different set of assets, I should now make 1 million dollars, which I wasn't expecting you now expect me to face SWS? That will never happen to someone like me, I have family that I need to help.

The only part that feels right is feeling unsafe, and that's because of those who doesn't have but always want to take things by force,  you know what I am talking about, it's right to feel unsafe when you are worth a lot of money.

I have never experienced sudden wealth syndrome before, maybe it's because I haven't made big amount of money yet but I know myself, I can never feel like that because making big money is my goal, if it comes it's because I deserve it.
883  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 09, 2023, 11:19:04 AM
I’ve always sort of thought that if you didn’t want people to know you were doing something then it is probably best for you not to be doing that thing. Whether gambling, or anything else. A lot of people end up having regrets after doing things that they are ashamed of. I think your time would be better spent doing things that would make you proud.
We can't all be the same, what is horrific to many, some can have joy over them, I don't like it when people know what I am doing, we are not from the same place and experiences differs,  when I was young I always put people first but later I figure out that some people come into my life to check if I am climbing up or sinking into the ground, if it looks more like I am not progressing they are happy about it.

When I started investing in crypto I kept it as secret, I did this because I was around negative people who only know how to stop you from becoming anything.

To cut all this short, just because I don't tell people that I am into Bitcoin investment then why haven't I sink? I think it's dangerous to let people know what you are into unless they are your spouse, wife and kids, apart from these, people don't want the best for you anyway, very hard to believe but it's real.

it's better and safer to look hopeless and dumb in the face of the world, you know what you are into, grinding in the back, telling people can bring up strong walls in your path to freedom, for your path to become clearer you must keep your progress a secret.
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin decentralization debate on: August 09, 2023, 10:11:29 AM
What you believe is what matters, not what someone is saying, have you done your own homework on Bitcoin? If No it's better you should do your own research, I have done mine and that's why I am able to know that Bitcoin is truly decentralized, privacy? Not really because privacy belongs to privacy coins like Xmr, Bitcoin is not a privacy coin it's a decentralized coin, there is a different between privacy and decentralized.

Like I've said, you only need to enlighten yourself, by doing your own research on these things, there is no greater understanding than seeking for one, not relying on what others have to say, they might be right or wrong, but it's left for you to find your own answer.
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Slots fever on: August 09, 2023, 09:29:56 AM
The first time I tried slots in my life, I use 1Eur to make 240Euro, this was my most joyous day in gambling, it was so unexpected, I freaked out and freaking lost my mind, since then I started believing that gambling do have some surprises when you don't expect them.

The saddest Slots spinning day was when I use 300$ to spin for hours and had on 20$ left, that was where I finally decided to cash out, I felt bad for a week before I got over it, that was when I started having a gambling limit in mind.

Till today, I have had some losses and also some fine hits, what about you guys? Do you have any Slots spinning story to share? I'm sure some people are more lucky than many others.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can Bitcoin provide food for our table on: August 09, 2023, 08:14:29 AM
Having a job secured will provide food for your table, going into Bitcoin investment without having a job will probably lead you broke, the best way to have a easy life is start working in a company or have yours, you can start a business or go learn a skill first, after you've done one of these you can then decide to invest some of your money every month into Bitcoin.

Bitcoin investment is still very risky but your job is less risky because it's offline and you aren't putting money into your job, instead you are the one to get paid, this is also why we are advised to only use percentage of our salary to invest, because nothing is guaranteed with investments.

The possibility of having a good future is why we invest in Bitcoin, and not everyone works online to get paid in Bitcoin, the best advice I can give is to get a job first before anything, or learn a good skill, this will bring income for you and from here on you will be able to take risks with investments.

888  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 08, 2023, 12:27:44 PM
After making money from gambling, even if the amount is gigantic enough to change the lives of those around you, keep your gambling activities a secret, thanks for dropping this advice.

I am living in a country where gamblers are given zero respects, and some will even start looking at you like you are evil, your points are valid and online gambling have made the secret more possible.

I have never step out of my house and visit any gambling house nearby, it's not because I don't like to gamble, it's because of those people that loves watching and gossiping around, they will tarnish your image very fast and start calling you names.

Gambling is a sin or act of unseriousness, this is the definition of gambling in my country, even if you change your life with gambling it changes nothing about how people feel about you.

I am a proud gambler and I have never feel shamed about it, and that's not why I kept it as a secret, only those who don't understand the risk of gambling or who doesn't gamble responsible will feel ashamed of themselves, gambling is not a major source of my income.
889  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal becomes first major fintech to launch dollar-backed stablecoin on: August 08, 2023, 11:12:47 AM
Finally, Grin something that can beat USDT is unleashed in crypto world, many aren't going to be happy about this, and that includes the Tether guys, I think many funds will leave USDT at this point and swim into Paypal new stable coin.

It looks like a good news, this could be the bridge between biggest payment systems in the world and crypto space at last, I had this dream in 2019 but it failed, lets hope this one will kick off well.

Maybe this will make payment option on online shopping more easier, because in my county I still have to get a virtual dollar card to shop on online marketplace and it sucks so bad, maybe this is the begging of the solution.
890  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: August 08, 2023, 09:22:30 AM
Your second point talking about cryptocurrencies, you are simply talking about crypto trading, and that's just one of the few ways you can make money through crypto, volatility can also turn into money for you, so you are not completely right.

If you know what you are doing, every market situations in crypto space can be profitable for you, only those that sucks in trading complains about market volatility, also only those that sucks with crypto failed to understand that volatility of cryptocurrencies is where the biggest opportunities rises from.

Just be good at whatever you are doing, either real estate investment or crypto/forex trading it doesn't matter, the question is, are you good at it?

I find Bitcoin investment as the simplest of them all but we will see some people that do better at more risky way of making money online, e.g gambling and others, like I've said, whatever you are doing, just be good at it, that's all.
891  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free Condolence Bonuses to Betnomi exit scam victims on: August 08, 2023, 08:05:52 AM
I believe the validation won't be easy, there have to be some requirement to actually believe that someone is a victim, this is why I sometimes screenshot my balance when I am gambling on any online casino and after I won some money, you won't know what's waiting for you in the next hours, always be prepared for anything.

This is shocking to me, because betnomi is one of those casinos I can recommend to anyone because it's popular on this forum, who would have thought that they will one day exit scam on their customers, I've never use the platform before because I got few numbers of online casinos that I prefer over betnomi.

Now it will be harder to trust new online casinos, on this forum or out of this forum.
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Do you think it's a good idea if BTC has smart contract capability? on: August 07, 2023, 12:23:32 PM
I have this discussion with few friends two days ago and I want to share it today on this forum, my friends believe that if Bitcoin has the same potential as Ethereum every crypto projects in this space won't matter and Bitcoin would probably be more pricey in value than what it is today, they also claimed that there won't be a lot of scam projects like today.

I answered them with the following, though they don't really accept, so what do you guys think?

1. If Bitcoin is smart contract active it won't be able to keep it's decentralized part alive because smart contract ability will give access to centralized projects building and running on Bitcoin.

2. Many new projects will tarnish the respect and image that Bitcoin has right now, because meme coins and stupid shit coins will run on Bitcoin and this will make people to lose money, once that happens Bitcoin as scam is just going to get worse.

3. There will be bridges chaos and more money will be lost, the problem will be much more than what it is right now because I believe it's easier to lose money through smart contracts e.g hacks that happens through bridges and other.

4. Bitcoin is perfect as it is right now, adding smart contract or trying to perfected Bitcoin, into all in one would have make it a less noticeable in crypto space, because it will be contending with Ethereum and others, it's best because it's not like other projects.

If you think my friends or I am right or wrong please share your own opinion.

893  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why don't land-based casinos have an online version? on: August 07, 2023, 10:34:32 AM
There are still many gamblers that prefer going to locations to gamble, for fun and for money making purposes, if a offline casino is doing well they might be occupied enough not to have time for online casino, because both won't be able easy to manage anyways, it will even cost more to set up an online casino, I think this depends on the owner, if they feel they can handle both then they can do it.

I do know that many offline casinos are own by businessmen, and they also have many other businesses apart from the casino, so it depends on the person that own the casino and what they want or plan to do, but it's not going to be that easy.
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't give you instant 100 percent profits on: August 07, 2023, 09:06:19 AM
Do you know that there are some people living around me that want the exact same thing and some of them are even expecting me to teach them how to make instant profit out of Bitcoin investment till date.

They still don't believe that I have to wait for few years before I can make something meaningful through Bitcoin I am very well aware that people are looking for a fast way to make money that is why most people are poor because at the end of the day, they will end up getting in hands of scammers and people that will just run away with their money, they don't want to understand that it is not that easy to make money, there are some consequences and risk that has to be taken before they can make good amount of money.

I won't worry myself much about such people because at the end bitcoin market always has its way of getting rid of such people, they are the types we call weak hands.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 07, 2023, 08:02:43 AM
If you are onto gambling for the first time it's not possible to get addicted to gambling because you haven't tasted what winning feels like, you will be consumed by doubts and uncertainty.

But wait till you have a taste, win some money, that's where you start feeling like there is more if you keep digging, is this not where gambling addiction starts?

We have had a lot of conversations about gambling addiction, but I had the same conversation with someone close yesterday and this was my answer to him.

Do you think its possible to become addicted to gambling when you haven't win a dime or after you win?

I think addiction starts after you win, even if it's just once, that's when you start gambling recklessly and you also start betting higher.
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A advise to my friend about his decision on: August 06, 2023, 11:21:07 AM
A 100% made up story, you can find the not so hidden truth in this topic easily, it's crazy how some people replied normal to this fake story as if they can't see that it's not looking legit, as a youth, who dares get furious about inheritance in Bitcoin anyway? Even those who don't get involved will still be happy that someone left Bitcoin for them, if they lack the knowledge about Bitcoin they surely knows Bitcoin is worth something and they will start looking for a way to sell, not walk away.

Sorry pal I ain't buying this no single side of truth story, nice one for the write up anyway.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 06, 2023, 08:37:19 AM
It's at owners risk, anonymity isn't the only thing that casinos take away from Bitcoin owners, moving your Bitcoin from your wallet to casinos wallet makes you a centralized puppet too, but there is nothing we can do here, everyone is entitled to how they use their Bitcoin anyway even if it's the most decentralized digital currency till date, but since Bitcoin gives that freedom so its left for users to do as they like with their Bitcoin.

For KYC requirements, we have discussed this so many times on this forum already, reputable online casinos need your KYC information to keep saving their business from the centralized penalties that gave them access to keep running, it's not about stealing users data, sigh! It's boring to keep having this discussion over again.

You need to run your own casino without KYC verification first to prove that it's not needed, even those few casinos that started with no KYC requirement end up asking now because they are getting more popular and successful, they don't want to face panel.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: August 06, 2023, 07:55:53 AM
Thanks for share your experience.
Ok each site offers its benefits, but I have a couple of questions:
- is it really an advantage to play to get this result (i.e. reach a vip rank?)
- why not maximize these benefits on a single gaming account (and therefore get these advantages on a single platform)?

We already know this answer to this one, since gambling is all about luck it makes no sense to keep trying your luck on one casino when you can do same with two casinos, either with higher VIP rank or not you will still lose and the game of luck is still running either ways so..

I have tried using more than one online casinos before just to see how it plays out and the experience is not much of a difference but it's still better, I took this route because I gamble for two weeks straight on a single casino and I got nothing, I kept losing over and over again, but when I try another it's not the same.

This is why I think it's better to use more than one online casino to try your luck, it sometimes make sense.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 04, 2023, 08:05:41 AM
That's cool amount of money, but 600k is not something you can have and decide to start buying things that wont be appreciating in value in time, if I have 600k right now or I won it through gambling it will be use to speed up my retirement, I will use 80% of this money to buy Bitcoin and wait for new highs to sell them, I will be in millions of dollars if that happen, I am presently living the life I want to live and the only thing I have in mind is to keep growing nonstop.

If you make such money from gambling I don't expect you to go back to gambling, trying to make more money, you will only end up where you started before making the 600k, learn to always walk away when luck favours you.
900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: August 03, 2023, 10:02:57 AM
This look like a drug case, maybe the victim was drugged by his friends? And that's a bunch of bad friends that he should stay away from, if I am the wife I will make sure he never get closer to such friends anymore because they intentionally shamed him, while he was running naked or about to run naked where are the friends?

And for those that are surprised that this happened in a casino well if this fella went to a church he would have done the same, this has nothing to do with where is his, casino has nothing to do with this, it can happen anywhere.

But I still don't understand why he decide to get drunk or drugged at a casino, aren't gamblers need to stay focused? A serious gambler will never drink with friends in a casino, unless casinos now have bars?
