Are these upgrade orders, or full price orders?
882  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL SC / Jally first picture? on: September 19, 2012, 06:58:40 PM
I am not a lawyer yet, but I am awaiting the results of the CA bar after completing four long years of law school just recently.

Conveniently, I married a person who is now a federal attorney, and I have discussed the fraud issue with her.  And just to be snide, she finished her JD while also getting her MA in three years.  At a top school. Smiley

Whoa.....did this just turn into a dick measuring contest???

Alright boys, belly on up......
883  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 3 BFL Singles Rev3, 2 Icarus, 2 X6500 Rev3 on: September 19, 2012, 03:42:46 PM
180 BTC for the 3 singles.

And just one more clarification.....I can deliver the shares over whatever time frame you want up to my maximum speed of 1,300,000 per day.

Say you want 5,000,000 shares as fast as possible, then they would be delivered in just under 4 days time.  If you wanted them delivered over 10 days, I would crank down the power pointed your way to roughly 500,000 shares per day.

It is very scale-able.
885  Economy / Services / Re: Selling 1,000,000 - 10,000,000 shares on: September 18, 2012, 09:48:13 PM
I may be confused but I buy 1,000,000 shares that will net me about 18 BTC but it costs me 20BTC - I am obviously missing something.

10% fee = profit for yochdog. Unless he is running a hash farm charity.

Another use for this could be gambling your luck on finding larger than average numbers of blocks in that time frame. So I could make a bet that I will be lucky and find an extra block, or get payed out more from the pool's good luck with a proportional payout system.

However, I am not very lucky. I suppose another use might be the reason anyone buys shares @ GPUMax.com which is to launder coins, in my opinion.

I do wonder what other uses this could have.

Any suggestions for us, yochdog?

Some people run tests on new pools, and like to have a blast of hashing power pointed their way and are willing to pay a premium for it.  I have done several deals like that in the past.

The gambling aspect is the other reason people purchase shares.  They can either hope to find a block quickly, or get lucky on a proportional pool while they are a large percentage of the hashing power.

As for other uses, I am unsure.....but I do see a fair amount of offers come across the desk.
886  Economy / Services / Re: Selling 1,000,000 - 10,000,000 shares on: September 18, 2012, 08:26:38 PM
Just curious if anyone is interested in purchasing shares, but does not want the hassle of going through GPUmax and their notorious delays.

I can deliver large swaths of mining power, either in a short burst or over a prolonged period.

Pricing is 20 BTC per 1,000,000 shares.

what is the average net for 1,000,000 shares at the current difficulty etc

I believe around 18 BTC for a PPS.......could be much higher or lower on a proportional pool.

<@pirateat40> Those looking to file a suit against me or BTCST will not be eligible for repayment.

I would be fascinated to know on what legal ground, he believes this statement is enforceable.

Let's use a little common sense.  He is essentially taking the position of "I know I breached this contract with you. But if you sue me for breach of contract I will never pay you!"

Good luck with that.

What contract?  Does anyone actually have a signed contract?  A loan document?  Even a promissory note?
888  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying Pirate Debt at 1-2% on: September 18, 2012, 07:11:19 PM
I would go 5-10%......but not 1-2.

If that interests you at all, let me know!
889  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 5 miners with triple HD 7970 on: September 18, 2012, 03:14:57 PM
hey yochdog,

how big is your mining farm?
can we get details of your mining operation?

Pushing 70 GH/s

Comprised of roughly 2/3 GPU, 1/3 BFL singles.  Most of my GPU's are 7970's, with a few 5970's and 6950's sprinkled in.
890  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] 100 BTC Pirate Debt for 5BTC on: September 18, 2012, 02:45:28 AM

Someone must be interested.

As an FYI....I calculate that I can deliver roughly 1,300,000 shares per day.

I could make the same offer.  Except it would take me 4 days to deliver 1,000,000 shares.  How long would it take you to deliver shares?

less than 24 hours.... Cool   That is my competitive advantage.

600W is not exactly trivial... I mean, you need some really cheap power to make 600 watts, 24/7 a trivial matter.

.029 per Kw/h for me.

Very trivial.
896  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 2 X6500 Rev3, 3 BFL Rev3, 4 Icarii plus goodies. on: September 17, 2012, 07:38:07 PM
Ready to talk more reasonable prices on those singles?
897  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL SC / Jally first picture? on: September 17, 2012, 07:35:09 PM
Considering the new player and their claims of 60GH/s ASIC offering, then perhaps BFL's claims are not that far off?

Just saying Cheesy

"Avalon" ASIC mining machine, announcement & pre-order start.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=110090.0;all

It was originally quoted (and subsequently removed) that the Avalon would mine at 60GH/s @ 600W. Who knows what the final power draw will be, but it's a far cry from BFL's 40GH/s @ 80W.

Either way, I don't care. GHs/$ is all I care about, and someone finally gave BFL a run for their money!

Yes, who gives a shit about the 600W.  With that kind of power it is really meaningless for those of us with cheap power.

I will offer my standard $.55 per MH/s

approximately $5,225 for the whole set-up
