"we all have hopes and dreams" type of conceptualisation about dreams is close to the gut feel about what dreams are, maybe closer to what dreams truly are, not just a classification and defrag alogrithm but that and more, categorise the present and the past AND project desirable individualised futures into the shared Universal Collective Consciousness to see how it is manifests in our shared future reality ... AND visions returned from the Universal Collective Consciousness about how the shared future reality is manifesting individually given the billions of individual consciousness dreaming inputs
... like a live decentralised network of individualised minds each contributing their hopes, dreams into the universal network consciousness pool of possible future realities and the optimal reality is manifest by the collective outcomes for the multitudes .... reap what you sow, be careful what you wish for
... maybe if we all dream about a beautiful future and share the vision it will become manifest ... or vice-versa

I suffer with REM Sleep Disorder. We should definitely talk in meatspace if the opportunity ever presents itself. I know exactly what you mean, about your "weird" dreams. Some of mine tend toward themes of being "lost" and unable to "find my way home/the destination I'm seeking". Crazy stuff, and the REM Sleep Disorder vocalizations and parasomnic-limbic actions are pretty fucking amazing, I'm told. Interesting. As a non PHD pseudo genius psychologist i'd say this sounds like dream manifestations of a control freak's deepest fears Ever been to sleep lab? I was in the lab two times to get my brain activity mirrored in sleep cause of daytime sleepiness. Takes me about two minutes of lying on my back, eyes closed, to trigger microsleep events. This also gets very annoying in sitting meditation. The lab results were showing that i don't stay in the deep sleep state for more than 24 minutes (at best), but my memory impairment keeps me from memorizing all those dreams, while i move comparably little when i am sleeping. On these daytime sleep attacks, i always stay at REM levels, with very active dreams based on sensory input by the happenings around me. Reportedly, i don't move at all in this state. ....  |

It's been years since I had an employment dream (job-free since 1976). They always involved standing around trying to look busy. Now I get poverty nightmares... trying to scrape up enough change to afford transit fare home or buy something to eat. Funny how that works. I don't have nightmares. Just weird dreams with annoying repeating themes. One is walking through town, fruitlessly trying to find my parked car. Another is always ending up with someone else's cellphone that is broken. I'm sure some pseudo-genius PHD psychologist character could come up with deep meaning... My dreams are like that too, not nightmares, but just annoying dreams where I just can't do the task at hand. My favorite dreams are where I “consciously” realize I’m actually in a dream (disappointingly this happens rarely in my case) and so I decide to take on super human powers or some such thing. Like flapping my arms, leaping up and soaring through the skies. That is awesome. But anyway, not to stray down the dream rabbit hole as it can get rather deep… GO BITCOIN |
