882  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market? on: August 03, 2018, 02:58:20 PM
Hello everyone!

I am talking to quite a few people who are investing in crypto and notice that very few have a broader investment spectrum. People either focus on ICOs, some small caps, others play it safe and stick with the high caps or established projects.

But hold on, is the later really playing save? In my view, even with high caps you will still be massively exposed as you have all of your eggs in one basket. Namely in the same market. Different eggs in size and colour but all eggs. If the basket falls, your eggs still get crushed.

As mentioned before, I am trading stocks for over a decade and crypto since last year. I also agree that is easier to trade stocks, simply because the volume is so high that a few whales or big investors cannot influence the market as easily by dumping their shares. The stock market is also much more regulated, if someone is being caught doing washtrading or spoofing the consequences are dramatic. In the crypto world manipulation is something that poses a constant threat. Just look at the market now, the recent dip is not tight to any event, news or even fud. 25 billion just disappeared and people are wondering wht‘s going on.

Long story short, it‘s great you have a diversification plan but also think about moving assets from crypto to fiat, stocks or raw materials and precious metals.

What is your view on that?

First of all this is a crypto currency forum so people from here will more involved in the crypto currency investments than any other investments like trading, real estate and gold. And there are different kind of investors in the crypto investment as well like short term and long term investor and traders.Id someone looking to earn profits in short term then they will go with ICOs and cheap coins and the people who want money in long term then they will go with bitcoin and other well know coins.
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum/Altcoins Be Valuable Or Relevant without Bitcoin? on: August 03, 2018, 12:43:34 PM
I'm sorry I could not agree with you. Because Bitcoin is a coin whose radiant power covers the entire market. With its ups and downs, the whole market shone with it. Because when the price increases, the price of the whole market including the ETH increases and the price of other coins decreases and decreases. Yes Ethereum usage has increased but Ethereum / Altcoins can not be worth more than Bitcoin.
Actually all the investors just look at the bitcoin price as a sign of investment time so they will invest and sell their holding when ups and downs happens respectively. But there is no reason that it has to be like that forever maybe in future the prices maybe valued based on the utility of the coins so if some coin created which can excel the usage of bitcoin then it can have high value than bitcoin. But in my opinion it will never happen bitcoin will be the best always.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency back from the dead? on: August 03, 2018, 09:12:06 AM
After several month we saw crypto currency prices is decreased fast, and a weeks ago the price is going up, but now looks go back to the bottom, the chart looks so confusing, but in my prediction if crypto currency getting better in august, so we must be happy, because I believe crypto currency is the economic future of the world. But if this august, crypto currency is fall again or maybe have no positif movement, so this is the end. What do you think buddy?
Don't decide about the future of crypto currencies by short term price charts, the dump and bump is just normal in the crypto currencies so we no need to panic now just hold it this month or the upcoming months may brighter for the bitcoin prices. There is always some reason behind the bumps and dumps the recent bump happens because of ETF hype and when they rejects ETF now again the prices were falling.
885  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: All Porn Sites For BTC on: August 03, 2018, 07:04:44 AM
OMG! Who will waste btc for this sheet?
'Sheet' or 'Shit'?

Most of the people in the world addicted to girls or drinks so they will spend lot of money on either two of these so it is not wonder that people are spending their bitcoins for watching cam girls.Actually it is a good thing that people were ready to spend their bitcoins.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY ANXIOUS ABOUT BITCOIN PRICE? on: August 03, 2018, 04:53:15 AM
Don't look at the bitcoin prices everyday then you may get scared even if there is a small dump in the prices. The price fluctuation is a very normal thing in the crypto currencies and it may dump or bump at any time but if he can hold it for few more years then he can make lot of money, just look at the bitcoin price chart that will make him to hold. And one thing don't sell at lower prices.
887  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any reason to day trade anything other than bitcoin? on: August 02, 2018, 02:23:07 PM
Serious discussion please.

Obviously some alts can have significantly bigger gains than bitcoin when it comes to long term and bull runs, the last bull run from 6k to 10k for example, sure bitcoin was strong, almost a 2x but some of the top alt coins did more than a 2x even 3x. However that's only long term.

Short term I don't see any reason to trade anything other than bitcoin, especially knowing how little volume some of the other coins have, even top 10 alt coins, for example stellar only has 33m volume. So my question is, what's the point of trading stellar, for example, instead of bitcoin? You know that even if you are a whale and trade a lot, you wont be moving the market as much, if you have 1m and you trade stellar, that's already huge and we all know the 33m volume is probably not even real, a lot of it from bots trading.

It's also much easier to follow bitcoin because, well, the whole market follows bitcoin. Bitcoin dictates where the market goes.
Day trading is much easier when we do it with bitcoins because as you said there is lot of price swings happens in a day and it also happens with altcoins as well but it is hard to predict the price of altcoins than the bitcoin. If you ask me never do day trade with any coins because in long term you will end up with earned nothing.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cheapest cryptocurrecny for investment? on: August 02, 2018, 11:40:01 AM
There are lot of crypto currency available even less than a dollar but when a crypto currency is very cheap it is hard to predict the future of it,maybe you can invest on some selective coins and you can do that by going to the coinmarketcap. But don't invest on a coin based on its valuation just invest on based on its technology and the development team then you may get huge return.
889  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Dilution fee lowered to 1% on: August 02, 2018, 07:14:53 AM
Dudes, i lost almost 2300 bits two days back and obviously that is not a big amount but this was my first time playing in bustadice. Tried with number of bits with number of targets but nothing worked out. But only one things kept consoling me is 1.01 target with 1 bit. Every time i tried, i own .01 bit, but it really swallowed my time. Hence i left out. What is the best time to play with how many bits with how many targets? Is it the right place ask this? I am sorry if this is not the right place to ask.
It dice games its all about luck, all timing is perfect to play in the gambling sites. If you keep losing in the bets ty to change the random numbers in target multiplier that is how I play and worked for me few times and lost many times. Smiley

Don't feel low, just keep on playing maybe today you are more lucky. Smiley
890  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current BTC price below 8K on: August 02, 2018, 01:57:12 AM
Just be calm, the price will get back above $8000 again one one or two days. The price falling in the bitcoin is just normal if it falls under less than 10%,there is no appropriate reason for that to be.The price has some little spikes now so we may see the price bump upcoming soon,so buy now soon.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you aware that some Banks accept Bitcoin? on: August 01, 2018, 05:50:07 PM
Those you mentioned were just like online banking system but in my knowledge there is no banks accepts bitcoin to withdraw the fiat money but there were lot of discussion going that bank will accept the bitcoin soon but whey they need to,we don't need banks anymore for using the bitcoins. Shocked
892  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: August 01, 2018, 02:32:51 PM
This question is especially for those who have been into crypto for a long time. How did cryptocurrency help you, most specifically financially? Did you earn more? Gain more investment? I do have a friend who wants to get into crypto but he does not have a lot of savings in his bank account or any major investment. I told him to save more before getting into crypto because they still have mortgage and car loan to pay. Do you think crypto will help him out to?
First of all crypto investment is not a way to become rich in short period this is very risky investment with high returns as well. You said that he have debts to pay so he need too continue to do that and if he can managed to save money other than that debts he can buy bitcoins as much as he can even small amount in every month can be a good investment though. At the time he finish paying all his debts the value of bitcoin he ought maybe increased several times.
893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is profitable coin? on: August 01, 2018, 10:37:01 AM
Expert traders, can you say Which is profitable coin? I like easy and short time trade. Now which coin is better and which exchanger also better for short time trade? I like small profit and it is short time. Say your option please.
Bitcoin will fit for the all the criteria you mentioned but still it is not going to be easy. You need to have analytical skill as well as the patience but still everything based on luck most of the times because the crypto is unpredictable market. If you want crypto to crypto trading then you have to choose the shitcoins which has the highest profits when compared to the potential coins.
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: banks investment and the crypto world on: August 01, 2018, 01:18:37 AM
Its really good to know that banks are now getting to know the potentials of crypto that they've decided to venture into it. Though bank investment is the safest but you can compare the profit in bank investment to crypto investment.
Banks have two types of investments that is depositing and investing,so both have different risk level. All the people think that depositing their money into the bank account is safe but it actually the most useless depositing because the long time investment as fiat money will kill its value because of inflation and also many governments have such policy that they an take the users's balance if they made serious loss in their stocks so know your bank's policy before saying that is safest. When comparing with that the crypto investment is much profitable with the considerable amount of risk level.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: July 31, 2018, 03:24:38 PM
Not really, sometimes before i make a bet i already thought it will be a lose next but when i click bet, the result is i win and vice versa. Positive thinking is not effect my gambling for sure lol, i think it's just about luck and hoping your bet is win.
I don't know how the system will understand about our mindset. Cheesy

In online gambling or real life casino only the luck matters,if you be too positive while gambling we will continue to bet even after the lose and it will cause more and more lose only so don't be too positive just be calm while playing.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone teach me? on: July 31, 2018, 01:59:08 PM
Poker is not a hard game to understand, you can learn it by downloading some free poker games on the internet and learn the basics but gambling is different from free games, you are risking your money if you lose the game you also will lose money. So don't do gambling if you are here for money making.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: July 31, 2018, 10:39:50 AM
The crypto currency investment is risky and there is no guaranteed return here so investing all your money into bitcoin is bad idea. But unil now the bitcoin never failed to give profits in long term so if somone knows that bitcoin can give more returns than any other investment they will take such risks to make more profits. But if you ask me invest half on real estate and the remaining in crypto currencies will be the safest combination I think.
898  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why Bitcoin Will Hit New Highs - ETF Date August 10th on: July 31, 2018, 08:15:12 AM
I don't consider that much about the approval or dissaproval from SEC because I think it will only create the temporary changes in the prices of the bitcoin,if you are holding bitcoin in long term just sit back and relax while what is happening after August 10,just like me. Cheesy
899  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best News Sources for Cryptocurrency Traders and Investors on: July 30, 2018, 05:55:49 PM
Honestly you no need any sites other than bitcointalk.org where you get all the updates about the crypto currencies, you just need to keep checking all the discussion threads if you want the news about the crypto currency.I use only coindesk app to fid the news related to the crypto currencies other than this forum.
900  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction in upcoming 3 Month? on: July 30, 2018, 05:10:46 PM
Move this to speculation. Go there and start speculating about the future price whilst hodlers are the ones profiting by not selling Cheesy
In the next 3 month I don't think we could see $20,000 again but I'm sure that we'll see that price someday.
At the end of last year we saw that the price of Bitcoin suddenly increased several hundred times. And in the first half of this year though its price was slightly lower, but it has been rising again over time. So I think may be something can happen like last year.
It never did such a thing. Moving from $4000 to $20,000 is not several hundred times Cheesy
Anything is possible in the crypto currencies prices,we may see $20K even in one month too,but first of all take that $20K from your mind this is not the maximum price of bitcoin, the prices will move more than that too so keep holding if you want more profits.
