881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming industry is moving to bitcoin, Wargames the first on: February 04, 2016, 08:14:12 PM
Valve won't let Steam have bitcoin purchases because their policy for returning money back will make them incur losses dealing with fees and payment processing companies. The Arkham Knight debacle called for so many refunds that I am not sure Steam could handle bitcoins refunds like ever lol.

well if they didnt use bitcoin for pre-orders and game deliveries (where issues could occur) but instead for ingame 'fancies' like gold, bullets, vehicles.. where once they are bought the customer has to keep. there would be no issue

This could work but I think the easiest solution to this is just allowing people to buy Steam gift cards with bitcoins to do whatever they want so in case of unsatisfied customers Steam will just return the amount to their Steam wallet no issues there.

I have been playing World of Tanks Blitz on my Android tablet and I would love to buy some stuff for it with bitcoins instead of buying Playstore cards with bitcoins.

Has anyone else noticed that Humble Bundle removed the paying with bitcoin option at checkout? I bought some bundles and I had to use PayPal for the purchase.
885  Economy / Services / Re: 1 BTC reward for removing my name from a local newspaper article on: February 04, 2016, 07:26:06 PM
It should be easier to get it removed if you bribe someone at the newspaper to do it for you.
886  Economy / Services / Re: PIZZA, KFC, SUBWAY etc for BITCOINS/PERFECTMONEY on: February 04, 2016, 09:55:16 AM
Where are you from? I would think you are based in the USA but why not just sell the gift cards so people would be able to buy the foods they want themselves?
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees over the last 2 years on: February 04, 2016, 08:51:47 AM
Current fees are effectively pittance, I'm always happy to pay 3 or 4 times the average fee to ensure my transactions are confirmed in the next block.

They may be pittance if you are sending considerable amounts of money but if you need to do microtransactions daily for whatever reason it will add up very quickly.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshis left on exchanges on: February 04, 2016, 07:26:11 AM
Don't the fees depend on the TX and are not correlated to the price of Bitcoin at that given moment? I would guess the fees increase exponentially with the bitcoin difficulty to mine it.
889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Comes to Online Multiplayer Gaming Giant Wargaming on: February 04, 2016, 07:14:41 AM
I would love it if Steam integrates bitcoin in their payment options and also other online game shops like G2A and GOG. This will bring good publicity for Bitcoin being associated with thriving businesses.
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EU plans KYC regulations for online wallets and exchanges services on: February 03, 2016, 09:34:03 PM
Bitstamp have been asking for KYC documents from customers for a while it's a standard procedure when moving money around online so it's not a big problem to get verified but the bad news is if online wallets start to ask for IDs it will be a big bother to move from one wallet to another this way.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshis left on exchanges on: February 03, 2016, 09:27:43 PM
I don't know why you would care so much about dust anyways if it's less than 1 mbtc it's nothing to worry about. It's like you were at a bar and left the waitress a tip do you care about that money too?
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The need for decentralised exchanges — has never been more important on: February 03, 2016, 04:30:34 PM
If the now decentralized exchanges get slapped with subpoenas to hand over some suspect's ID do you think they will just refuse? From decentralized to centralized in a matter of seconds.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Europe unfriendlyness is growing on: February 03, 2016, 04:04:36 PM
It's not the money but the people who are using it,they do not have to blame everything on the crypto -currency,they will always find ways to get hold of the funds in any way possible, they should increase their intelligent and restriction on who are entering their country not blame it on bitcoin..

nobody is blaiming X e-currency. the new restrictions will apply to all e-currencies.
Nobody can regulate the transaction of bitcoin but if they restrict on exchanging them to fiat than that will not make big problem to bitcoin ecosystem.

What if they make it so it records your MAC/IP address every time you make an exchange from bitcoins to fiat and vice versa it becomes quickly transparent who you are and where you are in the world.
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Europe wants end to anonymous Bitcoin transactions on: February 03, 2016, 03:57:31 PM
The immigrants need to smuggle their money in Europe using bitcoins obviously imagine what will happen if they get caught red-handed.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gamerholic: A Platform for Crypto Gaming on: February 03, 2016, 06:35:32 AM
What kinds of games are there for the competitions console or PC? I have seen similar services for fiat and it's a nice opportunity to get some cash if you are a skilled gamer.
896  Economy / Services / Re: I want to earn enough for a trip to Washington, D.C. on: February 02, 2016, 04:09:43 PM
If you are so hard-pressed with earning enough cash for your trip I would suggest looking into other sites like Fiverr or Freelancer sites that pay you to your PayPal account because earning enough bitcoins here just from posting will take a very long time.

898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used to do money laundering - will it become a huge problem? on: January 31, 2016, 06:16:13 AM
Not just Bitcoins, but all types of currencies are being used for money laundering...
Does that mean that BTC alone should be accused for the same???

That's true but the pseudo-anonymity of Bitcoin is a desired feature by the money launderers because it's harder to detect and investigate into.
899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: joy and sorrow you, since know bitcoin? on: January 31, 2016, 06:13:40 AM
It has been all joy since I have been involved with Bitcoin because I see it as a side income not a major investment opportunity.
900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe BITCOIN in ONE word. on: January 29, 2016, 07:03:21 AM
I think the perfect word to describe Bitcoin right now would be 'volatile'.
