881  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a viable option for newcomers? on: August 10, 2023, 08:48:57 PM
It can be appealing but it will never be sustainable for long term usage most especially for beginners who have less or no significant experiences in trading. While it can be effective and profitable for experienced and long time traders, but it will be a different story when beginners try to rely on copy trading.

Copy trading can be hassle free as it saves time from its users. But if only you were not copy trading from fake and inexperienced traders. Otherwise, you will end up losing because you fail to follow the right traders, but instead fall on the trap of unsuccessful traders.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the way to Prosperity for a Determined Dreamer on: August 10, 2023, 04:39:44 PM
At the end of the day @OP, it is your hard work and smart moves that will make you prosper, Bitcoin is just a tool for you to use and get profit depending on what kind of action you did in every situation.  I agree that since Bitcoin is still in its early phase, it can be an opportunity to make our dream come true but I would like to state that Bitcoin is not only the one option to prosper, there are lots of ways.  But the one deciding factor whether we will be successful to achieve our dream is our own actions and dedication.
Absolutely right. Bitcoin will never be the only solution to your problem, but your positive mindset and dedication to bitcoin will lead you to your future success. So just grab every opportunity that comes especially if it concerns bitcoin. One day, you will be amazed that all your hardwork and efforts have finally paid off.

However, do not just limit your dream into bitcoin. While you are still young, continue to chase your dream with all the opportunities coming your way. If it’s not bitcoin, then it’s okay, after all it’s not only bitcoin that will determine your fate, but your own passion and persistence will definitely make it happen.
883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As an undergraduate, is it advisable to invest my trustfund in Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2023, 03:38:55 PM
Do not put all your hard-earned money in bitcoin just because your classmate tells you to do so. If you want to invest, then DYOR it and tell me right after if you are still determined to invest in a high risk asset like bitcoin.

Bitcoin is indeed a profitable investment, but the problem is it’s hard to tell when you will be making profits. That’s why it’s considered a long term investment because it takes years before you can see its significant profits. However, it’s your money, it’s your decision that will prevail. But as a suggestion, only invest what you can afford to lose. That should be the very basic rule when you decide to invest.
884  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a legit way of income for beginners or just a marketing tactic? on: August 09, 2023, 09:56:56 PM
Copy trading is a way for a lot of bad traders to earn money off fees(they take a small cut). They might look like good traders because of their less-than-2-years-long track record, but a huge majority of them end up losing money in the end.

I’d say only do copytrading if you want to have a little bit of “fun” with some of your spare cash.
Many times copy trading does not give reliable experience, because some of those who provide for this copy trading are actually not real and professional traders on their own. They just simply make this a source of living out from the payments they get from those who carelessly subscribe to them. So yes, it would be more acceptable if those who copy trade are just for fun, and definitely not to earn profits.
885  Economy / Economics / Re: New Research found Work from home workers to be less productive on: August 09, 2023, 09:18:51 PM
Well, as long as there are complete resources at home that you can use for your job productivity, then there’s no reason that working from home becomes inefficient and ineffective. In fact, a lot of self-employed individuals who have been working solely at home still find their results impressive and outstanding, so much more to those who were supported by their own company.

The only reason why a job becomes less effective if the worker itself has less motivation to do it. Maybe because the company lacks of bonuses and incentives, the reason why their workers do not have the strong urge to finish their jobs productively.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 will determined bitcoin fate on: August 09, 2023, 08:59:38 PM
Many expectations of bitcoin this year failed, but I notice that bitcoin always breakout into a new price after interval of five years, the last massive explosion of price was between 2017-2018 and since then, bitcoin has not record major price increase. Now if you calculate from 2018 to 2023 that's about 5 years though because of policy of economic inflation and influence the price has not gain its actual strength to break resistance limits and if the remaining quarter of the year fails even more, then we should expect 2024 to 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 fire. We should start to make plans for 2024 more buys more gains.
Your analysis about bitcoin price in the past is incorrect, I would want you to go back make research about the last bull market in bitcoin,  you need to know you can't predict the future of the market because it might not actually be the way you think it will be . If you are trying to predict the market it can lead to get distracted and not to concentrate with your investment. If you want invest in bitcoin hodl and take your mind from predicting when to gain profit, doing this it will help you in making a successful investment at the end of everything.
The market is widely vague and unpredictable so there’s no chance that any prediction will certainly come into reality. And if there’s any, it’s only rare to happen especially that the market has a lot of factors to consider why all these things are happening.

When you say that 2024 is the fate for bitcoin, maybe it could be true because of the upcoming bitcoin halving but we can’t still give assurance if bitcoin halving this time will still create the same effect from the past bitcoin halvings. Know that the market is never fixed and certain, so whatever event may happen, the results may also come out differently.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 07, 2023, 07:08:48 PM
Just imagine, when a popular fighter retires or stops in UFC because of injury or they are aging, they still have another opportunity to make big money in boxing. The good news is that they can even make bigger money compared to what they earn in UFC.

This is the silver lining that I see in these otherwise boring fights. If you have made a big name in the UFC but you were kicked out and you still want to make more money because you earned much less when you were there, it is an option to shift to boxing and fight some businessmen like the Paul brothers. You don't even need to know how to box like Nate. Aside from your name, you just have to appear very eager to break your opponent's face, throw those awkward punches, showboat a little, taunt your opponent, and that's it. You will make good money.

Still, it's a business for the both of them and it will all be good if there will be some people that will watch the fight, doesn't matter if the results were already predetermined even before the fight, like in this bout. Nate is a grappler and not those kind of UFC stars which pack a good power in their punches, and so that is his downside that is why his chances were never that great against Jake Paul who already knows a thing or two about the sports.

Aside from that, transitioning from boxing to MMA or MMA to boxing will just be a one-time thing specially if they lost their debut because people will not be interested in the same participants anymore as they already see their limits.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 07, 2023, 06:37:23 PM
Only about 2 more months until the NBA is back upon us. I don’t think there’s much room for surprise this year. The Denver Nuggets have been the young team on the come up for a while and I think they’re still the team to beat. I think Phoenix is the team that has a lot to prove. With their roster everyone should be expecting a championship.

Yes, time is indeed running fast, isn't it? Before this month will end, the respective teams in the league will commence their training camp to prepare for the upcoming season and what it could it bring to them. As usual, a couple of underdogs will be on the top in the first two weeks while other teams are still busy rectifying their arrangements while having a test run in the first couple of games.

Nuggets will still be a top dog in the league while Nikola Jokic is having a full rest in the summer, and I'll be watching the Phoenix Suns's improvements and as well as the Miami Heat if ever they can acquire Damian Lillard successfully.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Claressa Shields Vs. Keith Thurman?! on: August 07, 2023, 06:15:03 PM
This is a hundred percent rubbish and this is not something you can be proud of when you win against a female athlete when you are a man. boxing is not something you want to see a man and a woman fight inside the ring because they are both different in strength and capability. They should stop these kinds of provokes against female athletes the last time I heard about this one was when that female athlete wanted to play against Cousins in a one-on-one basketball match which did not really happen at all.

I guess these all started when these so-called feminists believed that they could do the same job that a man can do. Well, they are right about that but not in all cases and situation because there is a fine line between that divides us from doing what a male and female can do. What should they do is to focus on their sports which is the women's boxing, but I guess they are now trying to climb the fence because it is clear that they aren't making that much money on their own sports.

Back to the discussion, it's quite an embarrassment for Keith Thurman because he had been chosen as the target of Claressa Shields but he cannot do anything aside from keeping his mouth shut as this kind of situation doesn't require an answer as the flame will just get bigger if he do so.
890  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather start/grow a business from scratch or buy an existing business? on: August 07, 2023, 04:25:11 PM
I would rather start a business myself, shouldn't matter if it's small because that is not my whole point. My point is that I want to experience it personally how to handle some business by creating it from scratch and having to go through the difficulties just to make my brand known to my community up until I can expand into a much bigger business.

It's somehow easy for me to say it but I know it wouldn't be as easy as I imagined it because it's not really my forte as my field is very much different from owning myself a business. It should take me a couple of years and if it will not bloom like the way I imagined it, there's nothing wrong if I will start it again from scratch up until I'm confident enough to grow a business that already existed or in simple terms, franchise a specific brand name.
891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: August 07, 2023, 04:02:42 PM
Weird question. Gambling is an ancient reliable and simple business, just like baking bread. Even if there is a total adoption, gambling will still be more popular than bitcoin, and I'm talking not only about investing in bitcoin (there are always much fewer investors than ordinary users), but about all areas of application in general.
It indeed is a weird question and comparison. I don't understand why would someone compare the fan base of Bitcoin with the fan base of gambling because both of these are totally different things. Gambling is a business that has been around for centuries, there have been changes and upgrades, and updates in all aspects of gambling, but it has been there when there used to be no date, and Bitcoin, on the other hand, is an innovation that is only a decade old yet.

So it shouldn't really be surprising that gambling is gaining more fans than Bitcoin, also after knowing that gambling has a different kind of attraction for gamblers towards it that makes them addicted to it, and Bitcoin is not addictive, it is just a great and useful innovation of today's era.

Really weird because its so different, he can't compare gambling to bitcoin since in first place bitcoin is currency and that one is activity.

Maybe OP overthink to much that's why he come up with those questions that its really hard to connect.

Although gambling exist for so many decades and its just other gambling operator just want to adopt new things that they can use where they cannot get disturb easily by government that's why we can see crypto casino exist because they see how big the potential of bitcoin when they use it as their main currency.

Yes, that might be it that the OP might've over complicated the situation where-in he did a comparison between bitcoin and gambling when in the first place it's not even comparable. Maybe he thought that somehow it would be comparable because gambling platforms are now taking cryptocurrency as a form of deposit instead of the usual where fiat is needed. Still, it's not really the same because gambling has been with us for a couple of centuries now while bitcoin is still making its name known throughout the world while having the challenge of being banned by other governments.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 06, 2023, 08:22:52 PM
Undefeated against MMA fighters. That's the rank of Jake Paul now. But not against true boxers.  Cheesy
Nate Diaz only showed his tough chin but that's it. First round he was knocked down but as an MMA fan and a Diaz fan too, I know that will only boost the morale of Nate and not the other way around.
He loves the challenge and when he is hurt, that's when he keeps on going. That is why the fight ended in a unanimous decision instead and not a KO or TKO. I am also glad that the referee knew Nate and he won't just stop the fight even if he is badly hurt.
Nate showed how strong his cardio is even against a tough opponent, it ended as a good brawl which I thought will end quickly because Nate is old. He never fails to amaze me even in the boxing ring. That might not be his best when it comes to offense but damn, having that cardio and toughness at his age must feel pretty good for him.

I will admit that it was true boxing event atmosphere, lots of fans in the arena watching the fight live. And Nate find a way to survived the first round and I'm glad that the referee didn't stop it early as it will be a big disappointment for their fans.

But what can we say, Nate endurance is different, he is very durable. I didn't bet as well in this fight because it's hard to predict this kind of exhibitions. But it seems the Jake is really serious and tries to score a knockdown or a knockout win.

The longer i see Jake Paul fight, the more I start to believe that he is actually trying to become a genuine fighter. I heard that he is doing hard work, and i also heard that he is definitely trying to be a great boxer. The reason why i did not respect him was because he was fighting retired guys.  But this was a good fight, i was a little surprised to see the fight, go like this to be honest, but it is what it is.

I think to get the respect of people, Jake Paul needs to do more. He’s not going to get peoples respect if he just fights against old guys.

I think someone asked Andrew Tate about fighting Mike Tyson. He said it perfectly. Basically he said that Mike Tyson is old right now.  And it is not going to be morally right for a 36-year-old Andrew Tate, who was a four times kickboxing champion by the way, fight against old Mike Tyson.

I guess you can say that but, in my perspective, I see a different version of him because what I think of him is that he was just there fighting in the ring to make an easy money by taking advantage of an MMA fighter who wanted to test their versions as a boxer. While there is also that chance where he is indeed training to be a bonafide boxer but he cannot achieve what he is aiming for if he cannot even defeat a real boxer.

Bringing Mike Tyson in the table for discussion is again an easy money because people will surely watch Mike Tyson, not to see if he can still fight because that is not even a question, but people will be watching him because it's nice to see Iron Mike stepping in the ring again as a boxer.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: August 06, 2023, 07:47:57 PM
When traveling to a new country, it's important to be mindful of its unique cultural practices and customs, and Qatar is no exception. We must show respect for their traditions and way of life. However, with the world becoming increasingly diverse, it's essential to recognize that some countries may have different standards and cultures than what we're accustomed to. For example, while drinking beer may be allowed with no restrictions in many places, it's not permitted in Qatar due to religious beliefs. In my opinion, FIFA should consider reevaluating their decision to allow countries with such strict cultural limitations to host the World Cup. It's crucial to ensure that the event is accessible and enjoyable for people of all backgrounds and beliefs.

The world cup is a transnational competition so FIFA should consider other people's cultures or beliefs before giving hosting rights to nations. Most of the most influential or longtime sponsors of the world cup are breweries or brewing companies. The world cup in Qatar made them lose their advertisement slots. FIFA was not too concerned about the implication because Qatar had money to compensate for FIFA's financial losses. But the religious and cultural beliefs affected the world cup negatively. Host nations should be flexible during the world cup period and they can continue with their laws after the world cup.

After all Saudi Arabian government permitted Cristiano Ronaldo to cohabit with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez because they wanted him to play football in the country. This means that these laws can be readjusted or relaxed to suit world cup fans. These laws should be restricted to only the nationals of the country and those that have the same religious or cultural beliefs. But fans with different religious views or cultural beliefs should be allowed to enjoy the world cup without restrictions.

Yes, that is one example that rules can be bended for certain situations like Ronaldo being exempted with the rules because he is not a Muslim, and the league needs him to bring success on the club and the whole SPL. I bet FIFA have learned a thing or two about what happened in the last World Cup and that made them think that certain scenarios should be exempted even if a Muslim country will host it because it is expected that all kind of people with different culture will flock towards them to be entertained and enjoy the event.

As far as I can see it, only two things will happen;

1. FIFA learned their lesson and will not let these Muslim countries to host another FIFA event in the future
2. FIFA will still let these said countries to host an event given that they will flexible enough to accept that there might be some rules that needed to be bend

Either way, FIFA is still on the winning side because there are still many countries out there that can host an event successfully without having some problems. A country that is more open and can give freedom to the people that will flock to their country to watch the said event.

That might be the case because Saudi Arabia has also expressed their interest that they also wanted to host a World Cup soon and preferably this coming 2030 but they are not alone with that because again, three nations (Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Greece) have combined and submitted their bid to host the 2030 World Cup. So hopefully, FIFA will impose a condition to Saudi that hopefully they are open to the fact that their rules might not apply to the other people who are just there for their country to watch some games.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 06, 2023, 06:54:23 PM
That fight was pretty much exactly what I thought it was going to be. Nate Diaz is a pretty terrible boxer and that was very clear after the first round. The only thing that really surprised me about the fight was that Jake Paul wasn’t able to cut Nate Diaz. I thought for sure that there would be lots of blood. I guess now we wait for Nate to get his revenge in MMA with a quick chokehold.

They have yet not reached that discussion AFAIK. Although Jake had been training with UFC fighters, it could just be for Nate to hope he can get even. In boxing JP couldn't KO Diaz but in UFC cage, JP will definitely find himself in trouble when he is not in a real MMA fight and being taken down. That is Nate's world already and JP wouldn't put himself in such a situation. And so the reason why it's not in a contract. Nate may be old for boxing but in UFC fight, Nate has more experience. I doubt Jake will agree to fight.

In line with the discussion above, it was already expected that Nate Diaz will get defeated in this fight and he just have no chance at all because aside from the fact that he is not a real boxer, he also doesn't have any knockout power to gain an advantage towards Jake Paul. Which is also the reason why Jake is not that cautious because he knew that he could take and shake Nate's punches.

Now for their rematch, no need to be hyped by it because there is a chance that both of them just said that just to hype their first fight and to get the people's attention to make them watch their first fight to see some comparison aside from seeing a boxer and an MMA fighter in the ring. The fact that it wasn't inked makes it more difficult to expect.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 06, 2023, 06:13:58 PM
That's right, everything that the Saudi Pro League has done so far, will not produce big results very quickly. Because all of that must be gradual and will not be able to immediately explode and succeed. So you could say this is the initial stage for the Saudi pro league to advance its football world. Maybe at this time the Saudi Pro League is raising the name of their football club. So after this stage, then entering into the training process for local players who are still young will definitely be intensified. So basically the journey for the pro Arab league to increase its quality and degree is still very long.
Saudi clubs have developed perfectly compared to their previous budgets. Perhaps their goal is crystal clear, they want their domestic league to be on the same level as the European competition which they're working entirely to achieved by signing European players over, placing hugh offers for them. What they failed to understand is, they can't just keep signing players that are no longer effective for European clubs, if they actually keen of improving their popularity in the world of football, there primary aim should working towards the supporters, grabbing the big names and important players from Europe, checking at the previous signings, more like average and aged players that are brought over.

No need to be hasty about the results because they are still on the process of developing their league while making it known, either way, the Saudi League is going down to that path which is why as of now they are recruiting known players from European clubs to attract people as they are frequently making some headlines in the sports industry and soon players will get in line just to get a contract, that is just the start. Future football stars will start to flock to their league because not only they can provide competitive contracts, but they can also provide an experience just like what the European league can provide them.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 06, 2023, 05:49:25 PM
I just think that we should consider that Rubio may have been like this because he played professional basketball since he was 14. This dude could be one of the players with highest epectation for a career out there ever. Imagine being epected to be great sinc 14, its been 20+ years easily. If you are lebron and achieve it then its ok but when you are not that good then it may hurt you in the end. This shouldnt be a big deal to give a break, do some stuff he has fun doing whatever he likes doing. Dont know if he is married or has children but if he is, spending time with them would be a good choice for sure. I wish him the best for rest of his life, I will always remember as a great passer and a good PG

Shouldn't be an issue I think because even before they played professionally in the NBA, they have already known some facts that the greatest players aren't born every day. LeBron James himself did not expect it to happen to himself as by his words "I was just a kid from Akron, Ohio and I shouldn't even be here". He was just playing basketball since then and turns out that he is born to be great at it.

What I think is that it would be an issue that will eventually turn into a mental problem if the people around you is giving you so much pressure and expectation that you will be one of the greatest and will change the system of NBA, and in this case it is Rubio. Anyway, we don't know that much about him that led him to this situation, so let's just hope for the best and that he can overcome his challenge much sooner.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's safe to say - gambling is a guy thing. on: August 05, 2023, 04:38:12 PM
Indeed, for men gambling is a natural thing because it is his style, fun and hobby, but for women I think they are being impudent.

Indeed, when talking about gambling, it is not limited to young or old and male or female. However, when I see women playing gambling, it feels like that... the same thing as when I see women who are drunk and smoking, it just feels weird because this is not their style. And maybe this is because I have never talked to female gamblers so I don't know the exact reason they gamble. Also because most gamblers are men which allows this to be a separate perception of women who like to gamble.

I understand you mate because it's not just you, I bet there are more like us here who think the very same way that it is indeed kind of weird and unusual to see a woman gambling while a having a drink and cigarette on their side. I mean, it's not every day or every week where we can see that kind of view which makes it more weird.

I know that in these times, gender doesn't matter anymore as they have the power to do what we can do but for the sake of limits, it's just hard to digest seeing a woman gambling.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: August 05, 2023, 04:12:08 PM
Losing in gambling is unavoidable, but we can avoid losing huge amounts of money with good self-control.
therefore gambling is intended for adults and established. Of course, gambling is not a way to seek cheap pleasure. because there is a possibility that we spend all the money in our account to play. Self-control may not only be possessed by adults. but adults may be quicker to think rationally to be able to decide whether to continue the game or have to leave the game.
anyone doesn't want to lose the game, but every gambler must know when to stop playing. no novice gambler is suddenly very good at playing. I'm sure every gambler feels some self-control issues within themselves too.
Therefore, if we cannot accept that gambling is not cheap fun, we don't need to gamble, let alone spend a lot of money because we have the possibility of losing. Anyone can control themselves but not everyone can have long-term control and most people will lose self-control after playing gambling for a certain period of time. That is why we also have to limit how long we play gambling so that we can still control ourselves and prevent losing money. Gamblers who experience some self-control problems should be able to practice their skills so they don't become addicted to gambling. And even though it's hard, they have to keep practicing because it's for their own good too.

As they like to say it, gambling is a very expensive form of entertainment

Which is true because aside from getting the money you want if in-case you are lucky on that given day, it's also hard to deny that you will not be entertained that is why people forget sometimes what their boundaries are because of that factor. As always, casino have the advantage because of what is mentioned that is why we should be careful from spending towards this form of entertainment even if we are just chasing for entertainment.

900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 05, 2023, 02:46:00 PM
Hopefully that will be the case for Inoue, stay at the top of 122 lbs division for at least to defend the belt. The problem though if by chance Inoue had all the belts in this division, sanctioning bodies are going to have their mandatory. So it's very hard to defend all the belts that he had that he will have to vacant some of it and then defend either 1 or 2 belts only. And if he doesn't want to, then he can go up in the next weight class and for sure, that's one option as well that he and his team is looking for. So maybe a Casimero fight, as much as we want to see it, the chance are very slim, just saying.

Yup, those sanctioning bodies also want to earn some money by doing mandatory fights but the goal of Inoue is to be a unified champion at 122 lbs and after that he could relinquish some of the belts that he doesn't want to depend but first, he needs to fight Tapales to achieve his goal and give the latter the appropriate money for that fight as it a big fight that I think would earn big money.

Luis Nerry or Casimero is the fight they target before going up.

It depends if Inoue's camp are planning to make him stay in his current division for long, it has been said that he will stay for like one or two title defense fight considering that he is already the undisputed champion but after that, there's no telling if he will stay or not as there is also a chance that he will climb the next weight class and try to be a champion again.

So, these sanctioning bodies may throw successive mandatory fights towards Inoue if they want but nothing will stop him if they are already inclined to fight in the next weight class. He will be stripped for sure if that is the case but that will become irrelevant as he already unified all those belts beforehand.
