8901  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: June 24, 2017, 11:13:40 AM
I think it is a very good idea because many people believe in Bitcoin and the more people who adopt it the higher the value. It's still in it's youth so we can all still benefit. Holding Bitcoin is probably the best thing you can do for yourself right now. Also investing in some altcoins to accelerate that. There many good altcoins.

It will always a very good thing to hold bitcoin. And if you are playing to keep on holding that will give you a better profit there are some risk because the price is down but most of the time the price is good to increase.
Everyone predicts that bitcoin prices will always increase, but we do not know when it will happen .. How when we need real money and then the price of bitcoin is decreasing. We will eventually earn a little money. So holding is not necessarily much better in my opinion. All must be in accordance with the conditions.

We don't know what will happen but everyone has the same words like this "bitcoin will increase in the future so just keep on holding". And sometimes there are situations like that happening, when we do really need some cash the struggle is starting by seeing the price of bitcoin to decrease.
That's why we have to only put the amount that is intended for investment so we will not panic sell when something bad happen
or we will not think of selling anytime. This should be our long term investment and only sell once you achieve your goal on the desired price.

Even if it is for investment or not, it is a good thing to keep on holding for better. Having no idea with what's going to happen in the future but upon seeing a good future in bitcoin, the price, the demand and it's users are happily investing to bitcoin. That is making each everyone of us to keep on holding.
8902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao VS Horn (Boxing) on: June 24, 2017, 11:03:38 AM
I just watched the news today and Pacquiao now is heading to Australia for his upcoming match. I bet that this is going to be a unanimous decision and Pacquaio will win this fight.
8903  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: June 23, 2017, 07:49:26 AM
It is hardly possible(but don't forget that everything is possible) and i know btc isn't stable. Its value goes up and down every moment but i honestly can't see him dropping under 2000$.

Yes it's now how to see on when we are going to see the bitcoin's price again at $1,000. And everyone is looking at the peak of bitcoins price. The good news are truly affecting the movement of bitcoin's price.
8904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: June 23, 2017, 07:04:57 AM
I mostly like dice game and sports betting. Also don't forget that I like to play poker but when it comes to playing poker, I prefer to play more with the real live action rather than online. I can simply have the feeling on how to play well in front of my opponents.

8906  Economy / Speculation / Re: India to legalize bitcoin on: June 23, 2017, 06:04:09 AM

8907  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: June 22, 2017, 09:45:11 PM
When a consensus is reached to solve the network problems, that's the way we're going. But I'm still confused about the miners choice for segwit2x. AFAIK,  it's not something the core devs consider the safest way

I don't have an idea on this but many are saying that this is going to help the network and will resolve the current problems that we are experiencing. But whatever it is I hope that the price will be landing to this speculation very soon.

8909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 22, 2017, 08:23:34 PM
Tomorrow's draft will be an exciting one to watch. Basing it on what people say about how deep this draft class is we might see some franchise players even in the 2nd round that is why a lot of lottery picks are big assets for them. What I am expecting is that there would be a lot of trades especially a lot of big names involve with the trade. This draft will determine a lot of future of many teams because this can make or break them depending on what player they choose.

Hi.

This new NBA Draft is already off-topic sir. If you wanted to talk about something else aside from OP, you should create another thread.(see unofficial list of bitcointak.org rules)

To OP, since the season is already over it seem proper to lock this thread and start a new thread for the next season.

Just my thoughts. Cheers!

It's still about NBA but well yeah it's for the season of 2017/2018 so I guess someone will create the new thread for us. But I don't think op will lock or close this thread. He looks more focus with alt coins and local threads.

8911  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: June 22, 2017, 08:01:04 PM
I guess the panic time is already done, as the price of bitcoin starting to show it's increase. But it is still a good time to buy bitcoin as we will potentially see the price of bitcoin fly to the moon.
It's not totally done, maybe temporarily but expect the price will go down again, that's how it works because the price of bitcoin is volatile.
Actually there is nothing to panic if you understand and believe bitcoin will be able to achieve a bigger value in the future, in fact the reality says or the trend says that the value is increasing on a yearly basis.

It's a normal movement in the bitcoin's price and that's for sure that there's a sudden price falling.  But after that movement expect another increase. Yes, it's true that there's no need to panic as only those people that are new to crypto are the ones who are panicking.
8912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: June 20, 2017, 10:38:37 PM

Where I can find a good chat for fast trading?

Best news site?

thanks

What are you trading, btc/usd>btc? Here in forum there's a talk about the speculation of bitcoin's price. You can visit this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.0 and I suggest don't visit yobit. There's a lot of people that are hype makers and don't avoid that website.

8914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin needs to die on: June 20, 2017, 10:14:26 PM
I don't know if OP is just trolling around. Bitcoin will never die and just because you can't afford to spend it on real life on your place. For sure you still have bitcoins on your wallet and there's no need for you to tell some this kind of words. If you don't want to use bitcoins anymore, just sell them out then you still have profit on it.
8915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 20, 2017, 09:47:42 PM
I heard a rumor that Cavs want Paul George in their team. If that thing happen, there's a big possibility that Cavs and Warriors will dominate both East and West for how many years. There's no chance for other team to go in the Finals.

Is this for real? Wow this is another great addition for the Cavs is Paul George will sign a contract for Cavs. This will give them more assurance that they will be the most feared team for the next conference. But I don't want to underestimate other teams, they still need to have a nice play game with a new teammate, if ever.
8916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: June 18, 2017, 09:45:11 PM
Trading is still profitable than gambling where every traders knows about this thing. but others even they know its profitable why they still go in gambling? it is because they want an instant millionaire because they are luck dependent.

It's a fact when it comes to profit power, many will still dependent to trading. But gambling is also a good way to earn not by the usual way of gambling but you can invest to different casino's that are allowing people to deposit to their bankroll. The profit is not that high for small investors but if you've got a big load, you'll receive justifiable profit.
Investing in a casino is also not the best answer. Investing in casinos is very risky, many people have experienced this problem. Now we have to distinguish between gambling and trraders. For me a true trader then he will not play gambling. Every corner of work there are chooses.

It is not the best but if you want to expand your business and capitalism it is one and good to consider on your list. It's like that you are having 2 investments, trading and casino bankrolls. But if you think that you are gaining more with trading then stay with it but it's like holding your coin there on casino's.
Its really better to have both, Putting up money on casino bankroll is considered as an investment and its risky and remember every investment do involved some risk which means we are not totally safe at all even on doing trading. If you want to extent then having both would really be a good option.Better to invest on casino bankroll than to play gambling on it,.

Yes it's considered as an investment as you will not directly gamble with your bitcoins but the risk is there. We do have our choices and we know on where we are good at. And for me, I can say that with the various alt coins existing in the crypto world I will certainly go for the choice of trading.
8917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: June 18, 2017, 09:37:26 PM
I don't use any method when it comes to dicing. I just press the roll whenever I want and there's no certain time and date on when it is effective to play dice. I just keep on reminding myself that I need to play only with the amount that I'm willing to lose.

That is the most risky way to gamble. You don't set a plan, strategy, so you are more vulnerable to losses. You start clicking and clicking without thinking and then you lose money for mistakes that could be avoided. To play Dice game without a strategy set is worthless, you need to calculate first how much to increase on loss, back to base, these things.

Yes I know it's risky but this is suitable for me. I know that I'm vulnerable to losses but the good thing about it there's no hassle. And there's no need to worry for me as I'm only dicing with smallest amount I've got when I have spare money.

8920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using low fees? on: June 15, 2017, 11:30:46 PM
I have used low fees without many problems, sometimes to my surprise the transaction gets confirmed within a short period, some others I've had to wait days for them to confirm. On a couple of occasions after waiting forever, the tx were discarded by the network and the bitcoin returned to my wallet.

Before, I'm setting my transactions at the lowest priority and fees today are really high. I did experience to wait for almost 20 hours before my transaction gets confirmed because the fee is only 0.0002 BTC. I have seen people paying .001-0.002BTC just for their confirmation gets faster. Hoping this will fixed soon.
People that pay for a huge transaction to get confirmed is the ones that should be paying because they are doing business with large sums of money. I wouldn’t want to make money and wait a bunch of hours when spending $7 for some transaction fee. I am pretty sure that people will have another type of method of spending Bitcoin pretty soon. Since Ethereum is getting more famous, the people that use it will try to use it to spend Bitcoin instead of waiting for their transaction to get confirmed?

If you don't have problem on waiting for several hours then just set your fee to the smallest one. But if you need to cash out your bitcoin then you don't have choice to pay for the higher fee. Well after the PoS turn over ETH, I'm thinking that many will still stick to bitcoin because it will do something great soon.
