901  Economy / Gambling / Re: ReelDice.com - The Bitcoin Dice Industry meets change on: May 21, 2019, 03:50:02 AM
Pros:
Website is fine
A new concept of 6 digit results instead of traditional 4 digits
Chat support

Cons:
Website lags a bit
Look didn't impress me at all
Site is neither smartphone-friendly nor good when used in Desktop site mode

With just 1 person available over chat and just 26 users (stuck to that number) online, I don't understand how they managed to get more than 17 BTC wagered and are able to spread a prize of €4788.12 (at the time of writing).

the concept  is not new , bitvest had 6 digit dice for ages
it does allow for larger multipliers so its a good thing
other than that I do not see many pros there , its a new site , there is no mobile version as far as a I can see
the site looks deserted , the chat is empty and as much as I love good sense of humour , deposit bonuses are nothing to be joking about
still didn't get it - if it is real or a joke?
you cannot be offering 50% deposit bonuses with 50x wager on dice with a 1% house edge and provably fair rolls , it doesn't work this way
902  Other / Archival / Re: 🎰 Livecasino.io 📢 Play and get free bets! on: May 20, 2019, 07:21:46 PM
a decently looking casino , pretty simple interface
as far as I can see there are at least three slots providers: Microgaming , Evolution and Onetouch
could not find M-gaming's new slots though , for example DOA II etc.
I wonder are the slots original licensed or not ?
and please , introduce an affiliate like almost every other casino does so players could promote you
903  Economy / Gambling / Re: CrashBot - Crash Game Bot Investment (BTC, ETH Deposit) on: May 20, 2019, 12:22:24 PM
Sorry but only Ponzi schemes do only offer these kind of rates.  Grin

Yes I agree. I don't really know what is the purpose of their investment and daily % of investment. They can just post here their software and market it. I don't really believe in projects like this but we should let them try their best and answer also to explain this feature.

Bots are not 100% income or profit so its risky as the site says. Better be cautious when joining this kind of offers. Plus I am seeing that no other new withdrawals since April 2019.
We cant even sure if those past withdrawals history are legitimate.I havent still tried to check those tx though but those alone is already giving the doubts if there are really people who do use up
this crashbot.People nowadays is smarter than on earlier years.
Would you believe into these statistics?

I definitely would not
no stats from any bettingsite , if you are running this bot on bustadice, for example
show us the stats of the account(s) you are using it on
anyone can put such a beautiful random graph , doesn't mean the data can be trusted
anyway 3% daily is a ponzi , there is no guarantee in gambling and can never be
no fancy strats or bots can profit long term , math cannot be beaten
904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: May 20, 2019, 11:19:27 AM
I always advise newbies to at least learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies
people I talk to usually heard about bitcoin and want to learn more about it
or they have no choice other than hear me talk about it given the first opportunity  Grin
in any case , I spread awareness as much as I can and I say: buy and HODL
long term bitcoin investment can turn to  be huge in 5-10 years time
even if you bought at 5000 and sell at 10.000 in a couple of years , 50% return per year is something you will never get anywhere else
905  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-20] Poloniex delists 9 cryptos for U.S. traders, they may be securities on: May 20, 2019, 10:59:31 AM
double standards is the name of the game!
they delist 9 coins quoting: "Today’s action is a result of regulatory uncertainty in the US market. Specifically, it is not possible to be certain whether US regulators will consider these assets to be securities"
do US regulators consider any other cryptocurrencies as securities?
or they just preemptively complying ?
as for Ripple read this: https://www.theblockcrypto.com/tiny/ripples-quarterly-reports-understated-xrp-released-from-escrow-by-84-million/

"According to Coin Metrics, the number of XRP released from escrow has been underreported in two quarterly market reports. The total difference between the reported figures in quarterly reports for Q3 2018 and Q1 2019 and on-chain data equals 200 million XRP (approximately $84 million)."
906  Economy / Gambling / Re: Game of Thrones Finale Bet - Win 3x Bitcoins to guess the New King or Queen on: May 20, 2019, 10:31:17 AM
lol i direct checked the btc address if it got any payments Cheesy
Why should anyone deposit to a newbie address when there are so many trusted casinos out there with the same bet Cheesy

regards
Yes I agree why would we trust a newbie as a host of betting?
And besides your first and only post is this thread how can we trust you,
When there are so many trusted casino that offers this kind of bet.

thank you for pointing out the obvious Smiley
you can recheck his addy - not a single transaction , so I'm happy to say that there are not too many incredibly gullible people among bitcointalk readers
what is funny , that there was no winning option at all
907  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: May 20, 2019, 08:43:20 AM
@Cloudbet. What were the winning bets on Game of Thrones' who will die first on Jaime, Cersie and Sandor Clegane? Can you send them to me though private message? To avoid spoilers hehehe. Thank you!

*spoilers alert*
interesting , having watched the final episode I cannot tell who died first either
wonder how on Earth they settled it before the final episode was aired Smiley
in theory this can be no event as there was no clear indication
but probably Sandor will be considered the "winner"
908  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-17] BTC's Biggest Intraday Price Drop for Over a Year on: May 19, 2019, 09:33:21 PM
You can’t call this "Biggest Intraday Price Drop" because it came after a rise of more than $ 2,000 in less than a week.
I do not remember seeing the price below $ 7,000 in the last few days but the price has recovered. $ 6700 is the minimum point of view but the market returned to what was happening in 2017 as any analysis is considered an unaccountable adventure.

I saw 6500$ and it must have been lower at Bitstamp since the orders for 5000 bitcoins were executed at a very low price
the price went down to 7100$ or so and then recovered to 7300$ and to 8000$ today
this wasn't a price drop per se but some sort of manipulation by an unknown whale who could afford to sell 5000 coins at once at a very low price

909  Economy / Gambling / Re: Game of Thrones Finale Bet - Win 3x Bitcoins to guess the New King or Queen on: May 19, 2019, 06:39:13 PM
will just leave it here :

https://www.blockchain.com/en/btc/address/34ddVoBdPian9uurGVDcLbuZDvwr5pJaBr

^^what is dead may never die  Cheesy

its a nice try , OP but I don't think there will  be a single person in his right mind to send you any coins
next time to have any chance try to create a smart contract
this way at least you will have some chance to attract a risky individual or two

910  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-16] Bitcoin Bull Run Could Eclipse The Last Crypto Bubble on: May 19, 2019, 06:15:15 PM
Over the last two months, Bitcoin has actually doubled in price, from less than 4,000 dollars to more than 8,000 dollars. Judging by the fact that Bitcoin periodically moves to a minor price correction, it is going to continue to grow in price.
However, I do not think that the situation with the price of Bitcoin can grow as much as it did at the end of 2017. That is, we are unlikely to be able to see the price of Bitcoin up to $ 20,000 by the end of this year. Closer to this price, investors will be afraid of a repetition of the events of 2017 and 2018 and will not invest at high price values of Bitcoin.

we can only hope for it to steadily grow onwards
although the market is as unpredictable as it can be , Bitstamp 5000 coins damping had the price drop almost 1000$
now we are back to 8000$ and are ready to test 8500$ mark come next week or so
judging by the graphs and the volumes , the bull run shows no sign of stopping
positive news and steady growth and we might eclipse the "bubble" of 2017
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally $200 billion total Marketcap is achieved. on: May 19, 2019, 04:41:34 PM
I went to sleep yesterday, and then the market cap was $260 billion and the Bitcoin exchange rate was around $8,000. When I woke up 7 hours later, the market cap has declined to $220 billion and the Bitcoin exchange rate has plummeted to $6,800 per coin. What's going on here? Then I checked websites such as Coindesk, to get an idea about this crash. The only interesting news I could find was the decision by Judge Joel Cohen of the New York Supreme Court, who asked Tether to freeze its loan and the line of credit that was provided to Bitfinex. But I don't think that this alone can cause the crash.

In my opinion, retracement begins now. Its good to market because in bitcoin history, after a huge move, there is correction or retracement and its healthy to market to have strenght before bullrun starts.

Agreed. A major correction will reduce the volatility in the future and will make sure that most of the coins remain with the serious investors. But still, I am surprised by the market resilience. I expected a 25% correction, lasting at least a couple of weeks. The prices initially went down by 25%, but they recovered very fast. And now, the exchange rate is around $7,400 per coin, which represents only around a 10% drop.

now we are back at 8000$ after this dip , the market has almost recovered
this proves that the bull market is strong and there is a potential to see figures way above 10.000$ this year
of course , this can change any moment as we saw yesterday
it only took 5000 bitcoins sold to drive the markets down across all of the exchanges
but no matter what happens this year , bitcoin proved yet again to be one of the most lucrative assets to invest into - now 100%+ growth in less than two months , from 4000$ to 8000$

913  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-17] Bitstamp Starts Investigation After Large BTC Sell Leads to $250m on: May 19, 2019, 08:02:25 AM
A whale pumps bitcoin from $4000 to $5000, everyone cheers. The same whale, or also possible another whale, tells himself that the trade is good and dumps his coins. Why is there a necessity for an investigation?

simply because there were standing buy orders at 7700$ or so
this whale or whoever it was put on sale huge amounts WAY below the price at 5500$ +-
this doesn't make sense , if you are offered 1 mil dollars profit and you say oh, I'll have 500k instead ,thank you
the sum is not huge huge but substantial enough to cause a cross-exchange price crash that we are only recovering today
besides there is this tweet that explains it further: https://twitter.com/DoveyWan/status/1129246233917382656
914  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Choose your lucky number 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: May 19, 2019, 01:31:12 AM
Yes, I agree that if the withdrawal isn't minimum the fees wouldn't be felt. I just pointed out the change of the minimum fees so no worries regarding that thing because we're just looking for some reason why it wasn't the same as before.

I think we should close the discussion regarding the fees and I hope this will be the tail of it, moving on with other topics related to windice.
transaction fees for altcoins (Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Ethereum) are very cheap. Especially, bitcoin transaction fees are cheaper as of 2018. Fees even much cheaper with Segwit Address, that gives both faster transaction speeds and much cheaper transaction fees. All transaction fees presented are just estimated, not exactly what users have to pay for each of their withdrawals, even they have to pay maximum fees listed on the site, it is cheap, in my opinion. Of course we should not withdraw with too small amount of money.

I would not say bitcoin transaction fees are cheaper as of 2018
for example, yesterday I was asked to pay 165k satoshi for an average size transaction of 0.01
it all depends on the mempool condition , unconfirmed count was at 56.000+ transactions
at windice they only cap the highest amount you pay , 20k satoshi the rest will be covered by the site if the mempool is full and a higher than usual fee is required
and usually altcoin tx fees are cheaper , but it also depends on many factors , sometimes gas prices are outrageous and you pay lotta etherium to transfer your coins

one thing for sure: you are not addicted to gambling , you are addicted to that feeling of winning
and you want it to repeat ... wait .... that is what called gambling addiction  Grin

"After one big withdraw of 500 BTC, I was then on the path to losing the majority of my money.

Before I knew it, I had lost nearly half of my winnings."

isn't it fascinating to be able to change your life like that? winning 500 btc ( even if losing half or more of it later) is a lifechanger
916  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-17] Bitstamp Starts Investigation After Large BTC Sell Leads to $250m on: May 17, 2019, 05:51:07 PM

Wow...that was a huge amount of money and am sure that Bitfinex was alarmed as this was the one that triggered the current correction we are experiencing right now...and of the press time bitcoin is now in the $7,100 vicinity with no sign that it is ready to move up. Just a single transaction has the potential to cause the bitcoin market crash all because this involved a big amount of money. I am hoping Bitfinex can uncover something unusual with the transaction and share the results to the rest of the industry.

wasn't Bitfinex , it was Bitstamp
they could not NOT execute a legitimate sell order even if it was way below the price level at that moment
it is rumoured that it was 26 mil worth of coins sold at 5000-5600$
this drove the price down and all of the exchanges followed , I saw Bitfinex price at 7600 $ while Bitstamp graphs showed 6500$
I guess some traders made huge money out of nothing buying for 5k and insta reselling for a higher price

this is what Bitstamp has to say on the matter:
https://twitter.com/Bitstamp/status/1129311518091300864

https://twitter.com/Bitstamp/status/1129311623951409153

lets hope that this won't trigger another dump and panic sell
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally $200 billion total Marketcap is achieved. on: May 17, 2019, 05:29:53 PM
according to some sources  , the cause of this wipe  was Bistamp
there was a 26 mil worth of coins sold at a suspiciously low price  5600 or so if I'm not mistaken
the price was around 7800$ but this damping of coins made the price go as low as 6400$ at Bitstamp and caused a lot of troubles
this tweet sheds light on what has happened :

Anyone of you claimed the rakeback VIP program? I have been upgraded to 25% Rakeback yesterday, it is obviously a nice offer as I can get some money no matter I win or lose while gambling at Stake. Thanks for this nice VIP program but as I have suggested to Irena (IIRC) as the one who offer me through the support chat, I would like to see automatic calculation for the rakeback that can be checked and claimed directly on the site without asking support first. Hopefully it will be implemented soon, so users can check their rakeback anytime by something like clicking our own user's profile.

I claimed the rakeback - it takes a minute usually
it is not displayed in your profile but you can ask Live support any time and they will tell you the exact amounts you have
you can pick a currency or collect all , easy peasy
automatic calculation would be nice , of course , but it would require additional code , downtime etc.
at the moment I'm pretty happy the way it is done
919  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoGram - graphic crypto casino in Telegram. What do you think about? on: May 17, 2019, 07:03:30 AM
Hello! I want to tell you about CasinoGram. CasinoGram - first graphic crypto casino in Telegram. There you can find the collection of your favorite slots: Book of Ra, Dolphin's Pearl, Lucky Lady's Charms etc.
Now you can play and win real money! All transactions are made using Bitcoin. So you can not worry about the safety of your money.
Firstly, we invite everyone who likes gambling.
Secondly, we are interested in your opinion about our project.

+ Special promotional code just for you: Hello

Our bot: @casino_gram_bot
Our channel: @casinogramnews
The sentence you made - all transactions are mad using Bitcoin, so you don't have to worry about being safe. How exactly is someone safe by making use of Bitcoin? Does that change anything, Bitcoin transactions are irreversible and you're talking about safety. Bitcoin is not safe please. And I don't even understand the project you're talking about, don't really know how the program is set to be working on Telegram. You bet with a bot and it pulls a random number and that's it. I don't get.

In short, we used all the algorithms of the classic online casino in Telegram. For us, this messenger is an anonymous and reliable platform.

well I believe that you used all the algorythms of the classic online casino in Telegram
the problem is that this slot , Book of Ra is a licensed slot and I never heard of Novomatic licensing it for telegram casinos
therefore this is just some unlicensed software which I would not trust

today the market cap is back to 220 bil after a sudden crash
at one point in time , the price was as low as 6500 ( Bitstamp)
so there is nothing certain in this market - while the analysts and traders were mulling if its a 10.000$ or 9.000$ mark next
bitcoin got 700$ surgically removed from its 8.000$ price just 6 hours ago  Wink
