901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the price be stable? on: March 08, 2018, 11:49:07 PM
Probably not as there will be no more supply. It should increase If the demand remains the same/increase. I wouldn't think much about it though, we would be all dead by then.
No the bitcoin proce will not be stabel because the prices of bitcoin is changing every single time. But then it ia important and essential to invest in bitcoin because these can help you earn and gain so much money using the less of your time and the less of your effort.

How to Explain Bitcoin to a 7-Year-Old
Quote
I’ve been explaining how Bitcoins work since 2010. Here is the simplest analogy I’ve discovered that explains transactions, anonymity, and coin production.

There’s a room that anyone can access. The room has security cameras that anyone can view, and every second of recorded footage is available online forever.

The room is filled with indestructible piggy banks made of transparent plastic. Naturally, these piggy banks have coin slots, and everyone can see which coins are in which piggy bank. These piggy banks can never leave the room.

Each person has a key that can open their piggy bank. Let’s say I want to buy a pair of alpaca socks, and you want to sell them.

First, you tell me which piggy bank is yours. Then, I walk into the room with a ski mask on. Anyone in the world can see me on the security cameras, but not my face.

Next, I unlock my piggy bank, take some coins out, then put them into your locked piggy bank. I leave the room.

Now, everyone in the world knows that your piggy bank has coins that were previously in my piggy bank. This is the case with every transaction, so everyone knows the history of every coin.

“So where do the coins come from? How did it start? Who got the first coins?”

There’s a robot in the room that runs lotteries. Every so often, this robot randomly chooses a piggy bank in the room, and puts 50 coins in it. When it first started, there weren’t many piggy banks in the room since nobody knew about it. Back then, it was easy to win the lottery. Today, there are millions of piggy banks in the room, so your odds aren’t very good.

“Ok, couldn’t someone make their own fake coins?”

No, because everyone has records of every coin in the room, and they know when the robot hands new coins out. If a fraud were to put fake coins into his own piggy bank, everyone would know that those coins were never handed out by the robot, and wouldn’t accept them.

“Who made the robot..?”

Supposedly it was a super genius Japanese man named Satoshi Nakamoto, but nobody knows for certain. Since the security camera footage is available from 2009, we can see that the robot was putting coins into a piggy bank since day 1. We assume it’s Satoshi, but that’s about all we know.

“… Crazy.”

903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: March 08, 2018, 03:06:49 PM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
Bitcoin in college cam be possible.I think it can really help so many students to gain knowledge about bitcoin. And from that many people can get a help from bitcoin.Bitcoin can be a source of income to many students and they can gain and earn so much money at their early age.

905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2018, 08:34:31 AM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

People should use bitcoin because bitcoin is a very helpful tool to many people. Bitcoin can be an aid to many people especially on their financial needs. In bitcoin someone can be productive and effective with the less of their time ans the less of their effort.
906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2018, 06:31:52 AM
So my question is.
Are you investing into Bitcoin purely as a investment?
Or are you investing because you believe in Bitcoin and the technology?
Back when Bitcoin started i feel people invested, because there believed in it, and wanted to see it change the world.
Now days i feel people only look at it as a way to make money, and don't really care about the future of it.
Whats peoples thoughts?
I am investing on bitcoin because I believe that my investment will not be put in vain.I believe that I can make my investment in bitcoin productive.I think it can help me to be effective and productive in life.Bitcoin has already helped me in so many ways.

908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of my friends still think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi on: February 12, 2018, 04:51:07 AM
Dear all,

I just heard some of my friends chatting in a gathering and they think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi. I just give them a smile and wish they will educate themselves a bit.

So, I would like you to give me some suggestions, how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?
It is just normal because bitcon is already in the news and the news it telling the bitcoin is just a big scam so already a lot of people are get influnce by the media and at the same time the bitcoin is really use in illegal transaction in the black market so they see bitcoin as a thing in the deep web because it is the currency use in the deep weeb.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Limit of Bitcoin on: February 12, 2018, 02:01:02 AM
I think about Bitcoin, and this is just my meaning.
As you know Bitcoin is limit. Total of Bitcoin is 21 million, we have dug nearly 16.8 million Bitcoin. Neither founder can not create more Bitcoin. Is this  the reason for raising Bitcoin price high and it's also cause for Bitcoin price reduction when we have nearly reached 21 million.

Not at all  we all have the mindset of rue bitcon is already at his limit and bitcoin will go down on its price but we all know that bitcoin and like just market or stock market every thing has a era and the price will go up in every 5 years so absolutely that price pf bitcoin will go and pump again in rue comng months or years.
910  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall below $5000? on: February 12, 2018, 01:45:49 AM
I do believe that 5000 is a good possibility before we start our next run up.

Elliot wave has hit the 5 wave at $9000 a couple of days ago and now a retracement is likely to happen all the way down to just under 5000.
There will be some bounces on the way down, like yesterdays 700 dollar one, but the direct from here is down. Makes a really good buying op
Might be but i guess it will not going to happened dont be influence by the mews because it is all like they wanted you to sell your bitcoin and if you do not you already fall in the trap they dont like bitcoin and they wanted bitcoin to fall down meaning bitcoin will be dump and its depend on us if it will or not.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stop listening to false news on: February 11, 2018, 04:07:04 PM
The current "crash" is caused by one bad "news" after another.   A lot of them are the false or twisted truth.

For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto".   What the...    Why is it causing another crash??  Why is it even "news"?

It was already banned in China back in September 2017.   All trading platforms suspended trading in September.   Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms.   Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall.   So what?  These people have VPNs!   When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs.   Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago.   So what?  Everyone is still using it.   Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth!   Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.

So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times).   Do not fall for it!
1.  Summer 2017, China banned ICO.
2.  September 2017, China banned crypto trading.
3.  November or December?  China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4.  January 2018.  China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)
5.  Today, "China Full Ban Crypto"...  (Really?)

So what is next?
"China really ban crypto"?
"China really full ban crypto"?
"China really really full ban crypto"Huh
"China will jail anyone who trades crypto"Huh
"China will execute anyone who trades crypto"?
"China will nuke every country who trade crypto"Huh??

Stop spreading this nonsense.    What's done was already done in September 2017.   Nothing has changed ever since.  NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Yellow journalism at its best.

Same goes for Korean and Indian news.   South Korea did not really ban crypto.  Just one guy wanted to ban it.  It was not approved, nor implemented.   So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously.   So what?   Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?

India also did not ban crypto.  Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto.  No real "ban" whatsoever.

From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down.   The sad thing is, people are falling for it.   The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened.   Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.

The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news".   Use our brains.   Not hearsay from yellow journalism.   It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.

We all know that the fake news is the one who make influence the decision on the holders in the market and they get influence to sell their hold or bitcoin in the market we all know that it is why the bitcoin is falling down in the market because of the panic selling and thats is the reason of the drop a lot of fake news to influence people to sell bitcoin i guess it is because they dont like bitcoin so they created something for bitcoin to have a bad image in people to make them believe bitcoin is a scam.
912  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for bitcon fall on: February 11, 2018, 01:05:35 PM
Despite Good news coming from bitcon this days, the fall still continue..... Can one help identify the reason for the fall?
Obviously a lot of country are banning bitcoin and i guess this is the main reason why the bitcoin is market value is going down and for that reason negative new about bitcoin is also coming out that persuade a lot of holders to seel their bitcoin causing a panic selling and as it continue to goes down a lot of holders panic sell their bitcoin meaning as they sell their bitcoin the market will be dump more because of their and continue to a cycle thats why the bitcoin go down.
913  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: February 10, 2018, 06:47:37 AM
Things that are happening these days is only the result of governments in some countries that banned the usage of bitcoin in their area. It will actually affect the price of bitcoin because we have decreased users. We, current users should not worry about its price because it will surely recover and we all know that more people are being familiarized and introduced to bitcoin, which makes more users of it and its pri e will slowly increase again.
914  Economy / Economics / Re: what benefits you've got from bitcoin in 2017 on: February 08, 2018, 11:22:16 PM
I just started using bitcoin these past few years, and I can say that I have started so well in bitcoin. I may have experienced some things that are not good in my learning, I have received so many good thins from it. The person who shared bitcoin with me said that I was so lucky i have known bitcoin when its price is already high. Last year I have earbed few bitcoins and I have known few things about it. I can say that I did not pay for proxyban unlike today, even if you are a newbie, you still have a fee needed to ba paid.
915  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: February 08, 2018, 11:14:20 PM
We all know that bitcoin is volatile; you never know when will its price increases or decreases. Beyond this incident, as user, I would still continue to hold bitcoins. We may experience this today, we don't know what it can do in the next days, weeks, and months. There is a lot of things that can happen in a year; just like what happened last year. As for me, I would still hold and trust bitcoin that it has not yet showed its full potential and use to the internet.
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: February 08, 2018, 11:09:06 PM
Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks
You have worked hard just to get your regular job, and I think you should not quit it for the sake of learning more about bitcoin. You can give your efforts to both sides; in the end you're the one who will benefit from the works that you have done. Master your time management; maximize your time doing such things and you can work while learning bitcoin. For me, bitcoin is perfect for being a source of extra income, not your main source of needs.
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: February 07, 2018, 06:23:09 AM
Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?
In my opinion, bitcoin is not losing its popularity; actually, it is in the stage where it is just starting to be known by many people. If you can observe, altcoins' prices depends in the bitcoin's price. When bitcoin's price decreases, majority of altcoins' prices are also decreasing. Even though we have so many altcoins everywhere, bitcoin will be the main crypto currency that will be used by users. Bitcoin is getting more popular with the people and in this case, it has a chance that bitcoin's price will go up.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will people lose intrest? on: January 23, 2018, 07:06:56 PM
Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?
I think if bitcoin dies, people won't feel loss of interest, but disappointment. Bitcoin is a great innovation nowadays in terms of money transactions and processing. I believe it is not even reaching everyone, but everyone in the world must know about this because this is the generation where you can do things easier and faster, including these cryptocurrencies. For me if bitcoin disappeared, the number of users  will be dropped and altcoins will not function easily, I even think that after bitcoin's disappearance, others will slowly disappear as well.
919  Other / Off-topic / Re: What age to teach kids about crypto? on: January 23, 2018, 06:57:35 PM
cryptocurrency really is a complicated topic for children to understand and grasp fully what it is.
I bet even adults are having a hard time understanding it!
Focusing on the right age is not really necessary to teach someone about cryptocurrencies. Like what he had said, even adults does not know and understand it well. Nowadays, we are already living in a world that is driven by innovation and tehnology, and I think every normal child (even pre-schoolers) know how to use gadgets. So teaching kids cryptocurrencies will not be a hard thing in the near future. Best learners of crypto will be teenagers. I'm sure majority will be interested with it, and teenagers are fast-learners.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shall we be afraid of bitcoin ? on: January 23, 2018, 06:46:50 PM
We should be happy that bitcoin exist....
New opportunity come...
On point. I think that instead of wasting our time worrying about it, we should be thankful it existed in the first place. This kind of happenings here in bitcoin should be normal for us because we all know that bitcoin is volatile. We should not be afraid of bitcoin; if ever you are afraid of bitcoin, what will be your valid reason? Just continue to use it no matter what happens and you'll never know what might happen in the next days.
