PSG - Lille match was a really competitive one today. After seeing that Lille ended the first half 1-0 ahead, I was quite surprised. Because Lille weren't going on very satisfying so I thought like they would even lose this match easily. But doing this away against a team like PSG was really impressive. However, PSG took the control in the other half and managed to make a comeback also and won by 2-1. Di Maria was the player of the match I guess (1 goal, 1 assist).

What the hell was that result Bayern Munich got against Gladbach by 5-0 away in the DFB Pokal match today? I didn't watch the match and I wish I did. I checked directly the lineups but I saw that Bayern got their main players in the field which made things even more awkward. Normally, Gladbach can't ever beat Bayern Munich by a result like this one even in their dreams.    But something interesting happened here and there it is. This is football of course and no team are unbeatable by a big gap. But still we are talking about Bayern Munich. It can be Gladbach's best day in their life.

It seems like we are going for one last round with Ole Solskjaer against Tottenham away.    He has a very valuable last chance in this one and he should make use of this in the best way to be able to continue doing his job at Manchester United. Otherwise, I'm sure that he will get sacked like Koeman got today after the Vallecano loss in the La Liga. So, Solskjaer had better prepare very well for the match ahead.

After waiting for some time and seeing Roma struggling, I couldn't do it.    Maybe they won by turning the game around but it was still quite hard for them indeed. Freiburg are going to play against Bayern Munich in an away match in two weeks in the Bundesliga. And this is going to be their toughest match in this season that's for sure. We really saw that Bayern Munich literally ended Leverkusen by 5-1 away not much time ago. Leverkusen were even sharing the points with Bayern Munich. It looks like one of my score predictions has won.    Real Madrid managed to defeat Barcelona by 2-1 away and I wish that I placed a bet on this score. However, this was the reason that Real Madrid scored their first goal as they benefited from a counter-attack. And the other two goals interestingly came in the stoppage time.

Milwaukee Bucks got their second win in their third game against San Antonio Spurs by 121-111. Middleton and Giannis carried the team to the victory. And Giannis was nearly making a triple-double (21 pts, 8 reb, 8 ast). At Spurs, McDermott's performance was really impressive to me. I agree with you. If the champion driver is decided in the last race, it would be awesome. I assume that it would be the most watched race of the season. Because normally, Hamilton would already guarantee his title before the last race which is Abu Dhabi GP.    I really missed to see a big competition for reaching the title continuing until the last race. Verstappen is strong enough to beat Hamilton too. He just needs to fully concentrate on the remaining races. Otherwise, it is really tough to beat a driver like Hamilton when it comes to winning the title.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund both succeeded in winning their games against Hoffenheim and Bielefeld respectively. Bayern got a 4-0 win which must be really delightful and satisfying for them. Lewandowski scored one goal also and he is the top scorer by 10 goals in the league now. And Upamecano had a very impressive performance that he made 2 assists. In the other match, Dortmund defeated Bielefeld by 3-1 away. Haaland didn't play in this match and lost his lead in the top scorer standings to Lewandowski. Bayern are still the leader now and Dortmund follow them one point behind. I hope that we can witness this title race between these teams until the last week.

I was expecting a draw in the Arsenal v Aston Villa match but Arsenal really surprised me by playing very solid. They erased Aston Villa in the first half and ended it by 2-0 ahead. Aston Villa couldn't even take a shot towards the opponent's goal. In the second half, Arsenal started giving the ball more to Aston Villa and they also started finding goal chances. But Arsenal found their third goal early and ended the hopes of their opponent. Aston Villa scored their only goal in the last 10 minutes. But that was a really great goal by Jacob Ramsey though.

And today, Chelsea defeated Norwich by 7-0 and Watford defeated Everton away by 5-2. These were very surprising results for me. Actually, Watford's huge victory was more surprising to me. Because Everton were the overwhelming team normally here. And it seemed like they were going to win until the last 15 minutes. But it was a very insane time period that Watford scored 4 more goals in it. Everton were completely shocked at the end and it will not be easy for them to get over this terrible loss.

Here we are, on the United States GP weekend. This is going to be a really crucial race for the drivers in the competition for reaching the title at the end. There are only six races left (including this one) until the end of the season. Verstappen is only six points ahead of Hamilton in the driver standings. I really like it when there is a huge competition for being the champion. Because it was boring to see Hamilton dominating every season. I hope that we could see a different champion at the end.

There was another great game between Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers last night. It was a highly competitive game and GSW barely managed to win the game by 115-113. LAC tried to equalize the score at least in the last moments after a free-throw but it was in vain. And the player of the game was definitely Stephen Curry. He showed a really huge performance in this one. He got 45 points and 10 rebounds. He got 13 three-pointer attempts and 8 of them were successful. He really fired up that's for sure. When he plays like this, GSW's wins are more guaranteed.

Today is another important day for Arsenal. Because they are going to host Aston Villa and they really need to play decently and win also. They had a really poor performance against Brighton and Crystal Palace before. Actually, they were better against Crystal Palace as they scored two goals but they still barely drew with Crystal Palace. The fans really missed to see their team playing strong and winning comfortably. But this is even a tougher match than the last ones. Aston Villa are showing a good performance against big teams. Arsenal can't be considered one of the biggest teams now but they will surely have a hard time beating Aston Villa. I think that it is likely for us to see a draw.

It looks like Barcelona are preparing to offer a brand new contract to Ansu Fati. And they are thinking of a one-billion-euro release clause for the 18-year-old just like they did with Pedri. Fati is seen as one of the most promising players for now. Maybe he will not be like Messi but he can really be one of the best players in the world in the future. He just needs to work hard to actualize his potential.

Lille really disappointed me by the result they got against Clermont. They had a good run like three consecutive wins in the Ligue 1. Clermont were really terrible on the previous weeks and they seemed like an easy target for Lille actually. An in-form Lille should have been able to defeat them. But their performance was not good enough for even drawing with their opponent. It is not good to see the last champions like this but I still understand them. It was even like a dream that they won the title in the last season despite PSG.
