901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [VOTE] Kraken Exchange seeking input on whether to delist BitcoinSV! on: April 15, 2019, 06:25:05 PM
I voted yes of course. Just dump your BSV and buy the real thing, Bitcoin.
CSW is responsible for the november dump, so this is Karma.

Binance will also delist it and others will follow.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 15, 2019, 06:19:18 PM
For tomorrow's games, I'll go with this :

Juve / Ajax 2-2 (yeah yeah I know but I'm a believer lol).
Barca / MU 5-1 (I'v said it before, I don't think MU belongs at this level).

LedgerX Reveals Bid to Beat Bakkt to Physical Bitcoin Futures Launch

https://www.coindesk.com/ledgerx-reveals-bid-to-beat-bakkt-to-physical-bitcoin-futures-launch

"Cryptocurrency derivatives provider LedgerX plans to become the first U.S. firm to offer physically settled bitcoin futures contracts.

The company announced Monday that it has filed for a designated contract market (DCM) license, which would allow LedgerX to offer physically-settled bitcoin futures products to its customers. Unlike the cash-settled bitcoin futures offered by CME Group (and previously, Cboe), customers would receive the actual bitcoin underlying a contract after it expires, rather than the U.S. dollar equivalent.

Once approved, LedgerX will offer bitcoin, bitcoin options and bitcoin futures to retail customers through a new platform, dubbed Omni.

En gros LedgerX veut faire la nique a Bakkt et a demande ce que l'on appelle une licence DCM.

Bitcoin Processed $7 Billion Worth of Transactions in the Past 24 Hours

https://www.trustnodes.com/2019/04/15/bitcoin-processed-7-billion-worth-of-transactions-in-the-past-24-hours

"Close to $7 billion worth of bitcoin has moved on-chain in the past 24 hours, with 1.3 million bitcoin exchanging hands or changing addresses.

More than a quarter of a billion dollars has been on the move every hour, with the average transaction value standing at $22,000, while the median is at $100.

Meaning about as many transactions were worth less than $100 as more.
...
What couldn’t fit on the screen is the 100 largest transactions. They moved about $850 million, or 165,000 bitcoin, just over 10% of the entire transfers.

This might suggest the majority of transactions are not exchanges or other large entities, but ordinary individuals using bitcoin in commerce, for international transfers, or to exchange value."

>>>

I'm just going to leave this here :

Seasteader in legal troubles, platform to be removed......

https://www.bangkokpost.com/news/general/1661300/seastead-couple-in-crosshairs

Edit: He's possibly in very big trouble here if they proceed with the charges as mentioned.

Quote
Referring to claims by the couple that the seastead was set up outside Thai maritime territory, the source said the claim was untrue.

Officers, the source said, are investigating the Thai company in Phuket responsible for building the platform for possible financial misconduct. Mr Elwartowski was rich from bitcoin trading.

Definitely looks like they have no case but still want to fuck it all up. I would say "bribe 'em" but I don't think that would do it, especially now that it's out.

EDIT : funny that the Thai government is only mentioning this now. Like it wasn't an issue before ?
Maybe some politicians are just trying to make money out of this after all.

Weird to see that MU received three more votes after losing 1-0 to Barca. Are you guys really objective here ?

Hmm... One of those votes came from me. Supporting ManU for more than two decades now... can't shift the loyalties just because they lost one match. And I am not going to support Juventus as long as Cristiano Ronaldo plays for them.

Fair enough.  Wink
