Korea Bitcoin ETF Approval Depends on US SEC Decision, Admits Stock Exchange Officialhttps://www.ccn.com/korea-bitcoin-etf-approval-depends-on-us-sec-decision-admits-stock-exchange-officialThe nation’s sole bourse operator, Korea Exchange (KRX), admitted that it was carefully observing the constantly-unfolding crypto ETF scenario in the US. An official at the exchange – on condition of anonymity – told the Korean Herald that seeing the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) response to the bitcoin derivative products could assist KRX in understanding how they could move forward with similar investment offerings in South Korea. Excerpts from his statement:
“The US has been the front-runner on the cryptocurrency market and related derivatives, and there are strong voices supporting the launch of bitcoin ETFs within the market — which is why we are observing the progress and response of the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s decision on bitcoin ETFs.”

this topic need a new moderator.
Yeah this current moderator sucks. Anyway, he's been on vacation, and slacking even more than usual. Will try to catch up. In other news, it appears the bulls were getting ahead of themselves. I think the only moderator is the OP himself. The forum mods do not moderate this topic. Infofront is the op and moderator.

Wash trading ? https://cryptobriefing.com/crypto-market-traders-algos/"As Crypto Briefing has previously reported, an increasing amount of market activity can be attributed to algorithms or ‘bots‘. That in itself isn’t a surprise. But some sources have suggested that actors, including some exchanges, could be using these ‘algos’ to inflate volumes and artificially raise prices – a practice known as wash trading. When coins reach a certain price, the algos are switched off and the market drops again. With no apparent reason for today’s decline, any more than for the price hikes in the past couple of weeks, this could be the end of a particular wash trading cycle."

Why price fell so quickly and so steeply is not very clear, but it may have been whale hunting especially on Bitmex. Ethereum saw a 10 million contract get called just above the recent low of about $140, down by circa $20 within 15 minutes. The now rekt eth bull whale can find some company with a bitcoin 7.5 million contract that just got wiped. Autre theorie : le wash trading par certains echanges . https://cryptobriefing.com/crypto-market-traders-algos/"As Crypto Briefing has previously reported, an increasing amount of market activity can be attributed to algorithms or ‘bots‘.
