Ok guys, here's what the poll looks like before tonight's first games of the 1/4 finals. Right now, Juventus is clearly the favorite to win the competition.
|
|
|
For tonight's games, I believe Liverpool is clearly the favorite against Porto but I don't think it will be that easy. I'd say 2-0 for LFC. In the other game, I see Tottenham winning this one 3-2 against City leaving the 2nd leg pretty open.

So you guys have prediction competitions for everything lol ? I'll come back to post mine if that's ok.

I wonder how long it's gonna take for the SEC to take a closer look at those IEOs : https://twitter.com/crypt0moon/status/1115259397356257282Apparently the IEO craze reach the point where VCs/presalers are initiating sales to dump on retail investors, without even the approval of the project (Algorand in this case). https://twitter.com/lawmaster/status/1115313069318725634This is unbelievable. @BgogoExchange is running an IEO without the project's permission. But that's not the best part - Algorand (the project in question) won't launch for the next couple of months and there is no ERC20 token. So Bgogo is literally preselling an IOU. Dump 2.0

There's Coinbene but there have been rumors that they just got hacked. They denied it though and the site seems ok. Like it's been said before, Binance will have a local exchange in Singapore soon.

There are gonna be many names mentioned in Real Madrid's transfer operations for next summer but if I were to bet I'd say their top priorities are Hazard and Pogba. Mbappe would be for the following year. Hazard could leave for 110 millions (apparently Chelsea wants 116) and Pogba for about the same price. I don't think Real sees a striker as a priority as Zidane is a big fan of Benzema.

BITCOIN PRICE SURGE SEES VENEZUELA HIT RECORD LOCALBITCOINS HIGHS https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-price-surge-sees-venezuela-hit-record-localbitcoins-highs/"Data from monitoring resource Coin Dance, which tracks volumes on P2P Bitcoin exchanges Localbitcoins, Paxful and Bisq, confirmed South America in particular saw huge amounts of fiat currency change hands during the seven days ending April 6. Having steadily increased over the past year, volumes for Localbitcoins in Venezuela led the way last week. In total, 26.4 billion sovereign bolivars (VES) went through the platform. ... Economic woes are not confined to Venezuela, with Argentina and Colombia likewise seeing increased Bitcoin interest as its own difficulties persist. Last week, just after investor and Bitcoin bull Tim Draper met the country’s president and even made a Bitcoin bet with him, ordinary Argentinians put more pesos through Localbitcoins than ever before – in total, 10.7 million ARS ($243,000). ... A more unexpected result came in from across the world in Kazakhstan meanwhile, where Localbitcoins had its most successful week ever. In total through April 6, users just beat the all-time record in Tenge (KZT), with 38.8 million ($102,000) being exchanged."

This Top-100 Cryptocurrency Smells of a Scam – After Spiking 382% in a Day https://www.ccn.com/top-100-cryptocurrency-scam-382-percent-growth"From the daily low of $0.006056, the value of VEST tokens jumped 382% up to a peak of $0.029249 on Monday. That briefly put Vestchain’s market cap at $206 million, temporarily inserting Vestchain as a top-forty token. ... The token price eventually rebounded back to the $0.01 range and left the project with a market cap of $80 million, and a place among the top-seventy capped coins. There’s little to explain the token’s movement at this point, and Monday’s surge was achieved with volume of just $11,000, from trading on just three exchanges."

TOP 5 COUNTRIES WHERE GOOGLE SEARCHES FOR BITCOIN JUST TRIPLED https://bitcoinist.com/top-5-countries-where-google-searches-for-bitcoin-just-tripled/1. Nigeria Venezuela, Turkey, Kenya, and Nigeria have all started to become aware of ways to shield their wealth from devaluation by buying Bitcoin. It may be volatile, but even a drop of over 80 percent in a year is nothing compared to Venezuela’s 95 percent in 24 hours or Nigeria’s unpredictable sudden drops. 2. Netherlands There are countless events and meetups scheduled about blockchain for developers, investors, and the general public alike. Brock Pierce was all over the news for buying a $1.2 million mansion in Amsterdam in bitcoin. 3. South Africa the Crypto Assets Group formed by the SARB aims to implement stricter KYC/AML requirements this month, perhaps its citizens are also searching to find out the fate of bitcoin in their land. 4. Austria With the Austria Blockchain Summit in full swing last week attracting speakers, investors, and delegates from around the world, the conference put Vienna on the map. 5. Switzerland There are Bitcoin ATMs in this tiny land, Zurich’s luxury hotel the Dolder Grand just announced that it will take Bitcoin payments and, of course, Switzerland is home to the famous Crypto valley. Switzerland’s own ‘Amazon’ Digitec-Galaxus also began accepting Bitcoin for payments last month.

I don't know Guigui but banning him because he copied part of a generic message to participate in an airdrop seems a bit harsh. Plus he didn't copy an important text, it was just a random valueless message from another member here. Many have done kind of the same thing, saying "good project" or else just to be eligible for one of these airdrops. It's spam, it's annoying but people don't get banned for this afaik. He could have posted a one-liner like this, he didn't. That's what got him where he is now. From his post history, it's obvious he's not a scammer nor an idiot. I don't think he saw any harm in what he was doing.
I recently learned that a few years ago account selling was tolerated. Now it's still authorized but you lose your account for doing such a thing. Maybe in a few years, we'll change our minds on that plagiarism rule as well. Circumstances change, rules do too. Why not treat each case individually ? I'm not saying this because he had a Legendary account but just because he has proven to be a valuable member of this community. I agree that rules should be the same for everyone, whatever your status but still there is a difference between a spammer/bounty hunter and a guy who's been here for 5 years and has (apparently) never done anything wrong.
He obviously cares about his account, he even asks for his right to a signature to be revoked. So why not give him a chance ?
