Hamsik's transfer isn't done yet. There seems to be disagreements about the transfer fee.

The exchange is now accepting credit cards which means more funds put in the exchange, more transactions, more fees using BNB...

One of the memorable plays of Carter that I can't forget (I alwayd watch gameplay highlights in youtube) is that when he dunk against a very tall player which come from a European team I think.

1825  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3 Reasons Why Bitcoin Always Declines When Lunar New Year on: February 06, 2019, 05:00:29 PM
1. Ang Pao Na Lai Cryptoholder who joins the Chinese New Year sometimes has to take or cash their assets to prepare for the Lunar New Year, of course, for the Ang Pao hero. Among all the assets that have Bitcoin is the asset that was first thought of, given the rather high price.

2 Bitcoin Sale Off Because every year Bitcoin always decreases when Chinese New Year. So many of the cryptoholders sell their assets before the Chinese New Year. This causes a shock to the price of bitcoin.

3. Whale Dumping Bitcoin prices tend to go up a day before Chinese New Year and continue for the next few days. Analysts suspect Bitcoin Whale is anticipating this by doing a dump before Chinese New Year and pump afterwards.

I can't understand how these events are connected with Bitcoin and how you correlate the effect of them to Bitcoin prices.
I think there are just assumptions or something that you have created from your mind... Are there any sources that indicate this relation of them? I would like to read about it if you have anything to prove it.

I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
OP clearly doesn't speak English well enough to give you an answer here.
He probably copy pasted an article he read, translated it with a translating tool but I'm willing to bet he definitely has no idea what he's talking about.
I guess he was hoping for merits or something here.

Seriously...?  Not Juve?  The 'Ronaldo factor' comes into play at big matches like these.  I think he could even carry Juve to the finals.  To the trophy even.

Atletico is a cup's team and Simeone is a great coach who can find the right tactics to beat Juve.
On paper, Juve is definitely the better team... but we need some upsets.  Tongue

https://www.coindesk.com/312-million-in-mt-gox-cryptos-possibly-sold-via-bitpoint-exchange

https://www.trustnodes.com/2019/02/05/mt-gox-trustee-sold-500-million-worth-of-bitcoin-on-exchanges-says-new-court-evidence

https://www.goxdox.com/2019/02/the-dumpening-trustee-bank-book-reveals.html?m=1

“The new data from the trustee’s bank book coupled with BTC’s price declines in May/June 2018 indicate that the method BitPoint used to conduct the sale affected price discovery.  In other words, BitPoint sold on an exchange and not OTC.
...
May started off with BTC continuing to rally, surpassing $9,900 on May 6. But the price fell steeply and consistently from there. By June 5 the price had fallen to $7,500 USD. Thereafter the price continued to fall to $6,200 as bearish market sentiment dominated after a month of heavy selling by BitPoint.”

MT Gox sold about $750 million worth of bitcoin and BCH in 2018. They secured half a billion to pay off in full all exchange creditors at 2014 crypto prices. Then they sold another $250 million to potentially cover other creditors, including Coinlab.

Coinlab has now made what looks like a frivolous claim of $16 billion, holding up the distribution of the remaining circa 140,000 BTC and an equal amount of BCH in addition to the $500 million in fiat.

It remains unclear how the Coinlab situation will be resolved, but with $750 million secured in fiat, it appears unlikely that the trustee would need to liquidate any more cryptos."

1832  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 05, 2019, 07:11:30 PM

Looks like GOX trustees dumped $500 million this summer and it hit the exchanges bringing the price down rapidly. Seems to be what caused the 9500-7500 fall.

Really? Source?

Then Kobayashi was just a mask?

Not sure this has been mentioned before but this article talks about the fact that Mt. Gox trustee didn't sell BTC and BCC otc but rather on an exchange :

Very true. They're doing a great job.
At first, I thought they must have an agenda or something but no they're clearly doing this just for the good of the community.
Plus they've inspired others to do the same.
Good for them !

Lawyers Might Sell QuadrigaCX to Settle Debts

"Prosecutors will get the encrypted laptop of recently deceased CEO of major Canadian crypto exchange QuadrigaCX Gerald Cotten, Canadian broadcast network CBC reports Tuesday, Feb. 5.

According to CBC, the laptop that might provide access to $190 million of QuadrigaCX customer funds will be given to lawyers. Moreover, the lawyers are considering selling the company in order to satisfy the debts."
1837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible that NPXS will reach 1$? on: February 05, 2019, 04:45:13 PM

did you remember when Syscoin went up to 1BTC for each 1 Syscoin a year ago?

lol what are you talking about ?

Seems like you did not do something called research beforehand, right?
read this up if you have not heard anything about it at all: https://fintab.io/blog/1-syscoin-96-btc-how-did-it-happen-what-is-a-cryptocurrency-pump/
1BTC is too cheap because the price went up for more than 96BTC/syscoin a year ago. That was why it has a probability to reach that level even though it won't last that long.

It was a mistake, probably some idiot who put in the wrong numbers in his buy order. It happened with one guy and never happened again. SYS was never worth 1 BTC, even less 96.  Roll Eyes
You have more chance of winning at the lottery than this kind of stuff happening with NPXS.

That was not a mistake but the problem with the bot trading itself and It involved a hundred of peoples because the bot pumped the price to 96BTC and forcing the exchange to roll-back the trade.

You're either completely stupid or shilling this coin. Stop acting like you don't understand the point here.
Call it whatever you want, a mistake, a manipulation, bots fucking up... SYS was never worth anything.
And lightning doesn't strike twice. This happened once for whatever reason, it will never happen again.
1838  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the coming halving our last hope? on: February 05, 2019, 04:41:22 PM
Bitcoin broke a new record of bearish market (over a year long). Many people are skeptical about this year as well. Do you guys think that only next halving will change situation on the market and bring back bull run with itself like it was previous time?
Sorry for my weak English.

Don't wait for any big news or event to move the market up. You either believe in Bitcoin or you don't. If you do, just be patient.
1839  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 05, 2019, 03:30:25 PM
People like Thailand because they don't know any better.

They go there for :
-the food. Yes it's cheap but personally I don't care for it.
-the girls. They're not that attractive in my opinion. Transexuals are easy to spot, they're much more exuberant.
-the partying. Cheap and everywhere. Used to be better though.
-the beaches. Beautiful but way too crowded now. Stupid tourists ruined it.
-the cheap hotels
-kids ? I honestly don't know. Heard bad stories but never seen any weird stuff.
-the massages and I'm talking about real ones. You can get a 1 hour foot massage anywhere for cheap. Pretty relaxing when you've been walking all day.

All in all, Thailand used to be much cheaper. Stupid tourists ruined it, accepting to pay much more for things than their real value.
I like Thailand, it's ok but there are much better places to visit. I guess it depends what you're looking for.

a) Dirk Nowitzki and Dwayne Wade will be part of All-Star rosters. That was a special order by the commisioner itself. (Hope Vince Carter too Smiley )

You can't give that honor to everyone. No offense but Carter is not in the same league as Nowitzki. Maybe he could be considered equal to Wade but definitely not to Nowitzki.
