901  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally from $500 happened on very low volume, crash looming? on: November 30, 2013, 09:27:19 AM
It will be more useful if you can predict where the pullback will go to and from where. We all know that at some point it will go down a bit.
902  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 30, 2013, 09:16:44 AM
It's never going back below 1000$

Famous last words.
903  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 29, 2013, 12:30:58 PM
I constantly keep having the nagging feeling that it is going to go down a lot, but then I calm myselves.

If only there was a clear signal for crash, like an exchange with 80% volume stopping trading.
904  Economy / Speculation / Re: read the Tea Leaves. whats with the gox swings? and the reluctant stamp? on: November 29, 2013, 09:02:38 AM
With 0% fees, Gox will keep swinging a lot.
905  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 29, 2013, 09:01:31 AM
Humans are a strange sort.

Barely buying all the way up to $1000. Then plowing through a 2500 wall in minutes once they are there. WTF?

That's not strange, its just they didn't know if it would happen until it happened. when they knew they bought. Before then they were trepidatious.

There is also the chance they bought their own walls to induce momentum.

Sharks and whales enjoying at Gox.
907  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 28, 2013, 10:06:39 PM
An 80 BTC or so ask seems to keep popping up just below 1000 on bitstamp. It gets bought up, a minute later there's another. Stealth wall?

Probably a bot slowly selling off without trying to scare the market.
908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin isn't going to crash on: November 28, 2013, 09:10:48 PM
You do not know at what point on the curve we are now. These graphs look for nice viewing after the crash.
Also, this curve ends at a lower lever than where it started. It could also end flat at the top or at zero.

Yes, last time it did not go below the initial.
909  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin isn't going to crash on: November 28, 2013, 09:03:58 PM
People are getting into bitcoin because they believe it can go far and be used as a currency.
Whenever it crashes, people quickly buy back.
People aren't going to sell - they'll instead buy with bitcoin and save on tax fees/etc.
Thoughts?

Wrong , its a bubble and it will burst , it is a simple mechanism of domino effect , at some point - i guess between 1000 and 2000 - some will sell right or buying pressure will ease that's for sure so price will drop a bit but who bought at higher prices will start to panic and sell and so on , so a normal healthy correction will turn into a selloff ... currently we're in the delusion greed phase , dont want to sell , prices is going to 1 million , 1K is the floor ... etc its a classic bubble .

910  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Value by Christmas on: November 28, 2013, 08:04:59 PM
$800-$900
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 28, 2013, 08:02:54 PM
Are 0% trading fees likely to increase or lower the price?

Only a few more hours to find out.
912  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 20, 2013, 10:39:05 PM
BTCChina sitting at around $670.

It may be some whale trying to push the trend upwards before the Chinese trades pick up.
913  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 20, 2013, 10:35:09 PM
I actually need it to go up to 722 again briefly so I can sell to "break even"...and THEN we can have it fall down to like $20/BTC!  Tongue

Hey so did I this morning, but I decided to transfer to BTCChina and sell over there for a tiny profit haha. Now I'm on a Chinese exchange and the numbers are all funny, we're buying bitcoin for thousands over here.

In a few years, or maybe even months we will be selling for thousands over here.
914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 20, 2013, 10:30:33 PM
Bull..? Bear...?

Both can't be right.
DOWN!!! (I pray)

I am pretty much all in coin - don't like Gox Bux and I have a couple of coin's worth of fiat in Stamp.

But I have bought on the way down and can't get money in fast - like many I suspect.

So I can basically only ride the storm and HOLD.

If you are quite positive it will go down you can sell a few and buy back in lower.
915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 20, 2013, 10:26:02 PM
4 hour chart going DOWN  , its bear time.

its been bear time for you since 200

cool it.

At least there will be some bots selling and so a small dip.
916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 20, 2013, 07:59:05 PM
i wonder how long the bear market will last.
What if it never ends?
what if the bubble never ends.

no it ends....

keep dumping your coins! it not over yet!

For real or are you just trolling?

I think it will go to $300, but not now.

lol who said 300

i still think 500 is bottom....

Bottom? It already went below 500. Unless we are differing on the definitions.

When I said it will see $300 I meant for a brief period, possibly in a flash crash.

Lads at stamp seem unimpressed by dumps on Gox.

Golden chance to get fiat out of gox.
Don't forget it takes 6 confirmations to transfer, so that's what you need the difference to hold for. Or 12 if you don't transfer directly.

And there have been some problems where BTC withdrawals took days.

I realise that. Its still better than most times.

920  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever again go under $400? on: November 20, 2013, 07:26:42 PM
Very likely it will.

When it will go is the real question.
