No effect on price yet, its continuing as it normally would. Does not look like anybody outside this forum even cared.

What makes you think they will stay open though?  The FED's have made it clear these operations are a priority for them to take down.  They dont like bitcoin and their attacks on bitcoin seem to come in waves...

Why can not they operate in a different country. Always have to stay right below the FEDs nose.

All I get from the last discussions is that 2xx is still possible in the longer term. Thats good news to me Smiley

So really I dont know where or when the bottom is gonna be, but Ill probably see when we get there. he only guideline I can use it to expect a fair retrace of 0.618 or 0.5.

Sorry if I missed it, 0.618 or 0.5 with respect to which figure?

One bust is a fluke. Two busts is worrying. Three... One may start to think the online drug market business is too risky.
Last year there were 4 operating markets and one got busted.

This year there were 18 operating markets and 3 got shut down.

Odds of getting busted fell from 25% to 17%.
Come on, give the FBI their dues. It's a little unfair to compare markets regardless of size. They picked the biggest fish. I'm sure the percentage is over 50% if you go by the amount of buyers, sellers and goods.

If FBI agents are reading this, great work everyone involved! Enjoy the hash! Cheesy

What was the giveaway this time? Last time was DPR as good as openly boasting about Silk Road.

Surprised they are getting caught with all the mixing services available. At some point there has to be a conversion to fiat so maybe that was the weak link.

Bearish. Trade in illicit goods and services is one of the truly unique uses for cryptocurrency. That people involved in the trade seem to be unable to avoid capture casts doubt on the viability of dark marketplaces, and is likely to get their customers to reconsider just how safe they can expect to be.

Trade is not the price driver now. The current price is pure speculative.

Have to see if its bullish or bearish. So far the exchanges are tending to bullish.

We have made a significant breakthrough that is confirmation of truncated wave V or terminal wave B as expected. This means I am expecting a relentless rally to at least 3000yuan.

Bold prediction. Wishing it would come true Smiley

I think we should expect this. a 0.618 retrace would be an epic buy opportunity.

Any timescale for this?

the rally to 3000yuan could take a couple of weeks........ the 0.618 correcton could take 12-24 hours though cant be sure it is under way yet.

It looks like there will not be that 0.618 correction then.

Do you keep into consideration effects like weekend price lowerings when counting the waves?

Fantastic performance by ManCity, they were fabulous this evening. Finally they have their much needed Champions League success  Cheesy

I thought they will drop down to Europa. At this rate they will be watching European football on TV.

All the billions invested and nothing to show for it in Europe.

Nobody gives a fuck about ripple.

Except banks and huge companies that will eventually pump XRP beyond your wildest dreams.

In who's dreams exactly? It amazes me how some people here can be so dead certain on such unsure future situations.

My dreams. I expect XRP parity with the dollar by 6 months. Probably 1 xrp = $10 within a year.

Thats such a tongue in cheek trolling. He was probably laughing while making that post wondering if anybody would fall for it.

I am assuming you are in a long position now? Or holding out for more time to see which way that wedge resolves?

That was some match at Emirates, who knew Anderlecht had it in them.

Liverpool gave a decent account of themselves. Seeing the lineup I thought Real would just walk through.

Bitcoin is done for. The experiment has failed.

That is a big exaggeration.

The ultimate goal of bitcoin was the development of an e-payment system that did not depend on a trusted authority (including a centralized server).  It was not to develop a great investment opportunity, a long-term store of value, a way to hide money from the IRS or your spouse, a way buy illegal drugs or child porn, or a way to drive banks and governments to bankruptcy.  It was not even meant to replace credit cards, cash, gold, or old paper checks.

Indeed, bitcoin was not even meant to be an e-payment system itself; it was only a technical experiment, meant to prove that a certain protocol could solve ONE particular obstacle in the development of such a system, namely how to motivate volunteers to maintain the blockchain rather than sabotage it.  For that experiment to be carried out, all that was needed was an open community or volunteers willing to maintain the network and trade BTC among themselves, plus a few friendly pizza parlors and merchants to make the test more realistic.  That, AFAIK, was the bicoin community in 2009; and the experiment would have worked if it had been remained that until now.

Ignore him, he is just trolling.

Bitcoin as an experiment is a huge success. The question was whether something like this backed by nothing can have actual value, and the answer is a resounding yes.

All these arguments are very fascinating, but whats the current diagnosis? I feel that it still looks bad but there may be a small bounce and we have now achieved a local minima. Not putting money on it yet.

Got paid this month's salary and thought I would buy more at 270-280, but seems its not happening.

Anybody seeing Callejon's miss in Napoli-Atalanta 1-1 draw would think that he had got paid. It was a clearance which any top class defender would have been proud of Grin
415  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Native British - quick job. on: October 27, 2014, 05:46:15 PM
Still looking? Happy to take part if you are.

If you want a job well done it's better if you hire a CV specialist and not just a british native speaker IMO.

Quite correct. Personally, I have done them for my colleagues and is generally considered the go-to guy.
416  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: October 25, 2014, 10:15:15 PM
wanna bet? Grin

I already bet every Beşiktaş game and won a lot of money. It's more profitable than long term bets. Wink

Will bet you a BTC that Besiktas will NOT win the Europa League.

Anybody saw the El Clasico? Real Madrid looking imperious at the moment. Do not think Atletico can repeat their heroics this season.

Sold at 398, bought at 352 at Btc-e. May be going lower now but I was happy with my profits.

Same here! Sold at 403$ bought back at 356 (finex)... Nice to see not everyone here are screaming for sub 300 again just to get few bucks more  Smiley

I would have been screaming for sub 300, but the fall does not look to be strong enough. Happy with 350 for now.
419  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: October 23, 2014, 11:04:22 PM
Beşiktaş is going to win both Turkish League and Europe League. Wink

Not a chance, teams like Man City are going to drop down. Besides traditionally the Spanish teams or Porto, Benfica are very strong in this competition.
420  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you're not out, get out. on: October 23, 2014, 11:01:33 PM
I just got in. Still think its going lower, but wanted to lock in the profits and then go out.
