904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: December 30, 2015, 12:05:49 PM
Damn, i didnt realise the crowdsale had been. How much IOTA per BTC were they?
1 000 000 000 Iota for 930.96250857 BTC and 58703 Jinn.

damn thats a lot iota per btc , too bad the ico is over and me including many missed it, guess we have to buy after ico for half the price
like 80% of the ico's Cheesy.

84 dollar cents.. again. What is happening man.
ETH is the only coin going somewhere, with stellar.

Either ETH or XLM will win the battle for smart contracts. My bet is Stellar, but the ETH fanboys should be happy to come up no 2.

ETH is going up with relative to BTC but not against the USD. ETH is not doing too bad except that there is no news for the real value of ETH to increase at the moment.

I like the idea behind eth a lot but is it me or i the development lacking atm, or should they just update some more everywere? maybe a pr team

the youtube movies of devcon1 we know by now,

Anyone know if mist is out of beta and safe to send some coins to ?

908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 24, 2015, 08:26:50 AM
The price of eth has been hovering between .85-1.00 usd but it is in the cooling off stage. You could probably buy again at .65-.75 in the not too distant future imo

Don't think so, we are already in the cooling phase, with the upcoming release of homestead price will likely rise and THEN cool off again at a later time

I'm with you. People are underestimating the impact that homestead will have.

Exactly. I think that once Homestead is up, price would be 5x or even 10x more than what it is right now. Mining rewards would be increased as well, so there would be more demand and more miners mining Ethers. At this moment now, we are in Frontier release and it is just only the beginning. Just give Ethereum 1 or 2 more years and you will see great results. Remember, the early bird catches the worm. If you buy at these prices, then you would likely make profit once the price goes up, otherwise you would miss a great opportunity to make some cash. Just sharing my opinion.  Roll Eyes

i agree. i mean what's $10-$20 a week throwing it to ETH.  Just save the $$ elsewhere by not supersizing your meal. lol. Just like BTC in the beginning, just keep adding while low and stash/wait.

Indeed thats what i do , i want around 10k to be satisfied, so if Pos hit im oke in situation,

Also i think its funny people scream reward x10 , men do some research its already on 100% reward size since a while

Is there an easy to use wallet for Ethereum? If not, what is the best and the easiest option?

Thank you!

Mist is the safest if im right, but the homestead release will soon be here, waiting for it any minute now i hope a early christmas present Wink
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 21, 2015, 01:13:21 PM
We are heading back under 0.002 BTC soon. Seems that the price stabilization was just short-term.

Actually the price is pretty stable compared to usd and euro, wont see it break out soon , guess people need wallets, Dapps, Homestead, even better serenity Wink.

Dont forget its mostly on frontier now but thats about to change any moment i guess maybe 2 weeks i heared around.

I think its awesome they are not only trying to please people with wallets etc but first focus the coding part.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 21, 2015, 12:00:04 PM
When will be like that?

Release Step Two: Homestead

Homestead is where we move after Frontier. We expect the following three major changes.

Ether mining will be at 100% rather than 10% of the usual reward rate

If im right not 100% sure didnt they already increased the mining rate to 100% already with a block reward of 5 per block (17sec atm)?

Or does it mean they will further increase reward x10 to 50 per block?

no guess they wont cause that would turn up to 300k coins a day almost Cheesy , no i think all is already included

How do you see ETH future as currency?

I was all in ether and got burned when it crashed to 0.002 BTC, don't put all your money in one place. Use Bitcoin too.

The devs now have the option of getting paid in Ether.

So their entire income is based in Ether.

This is the writing on the wall people.

Ethereum will connect this entire ecosystem and all of the alts. It is going to further empower the cryptocurrency community as a whole.

I strongly believe Ethereum will be the coin to surpass all other coins in value and become the "diamond" of the crypto world.

Lets hope so im all in ether atm , i think its awesome what they are doing

Just the market cap (coin amount) will grow a lot more

I was all in ether and got burned when it crashed to 0.002 BTC, don't put your money in one place. Diversify and use BTC also.

I bought around that time , but i can see it go up a lot when developments start rolling out , and get more and more. Only thing concern me is the amount of coins beeeing released every year around 18 million isnt it ? So it needs to grow at least a decent amount

Also for the time ETH is around i must say the community is not huge just yet
