921  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 2 X6500 Rev3, 3 BFL Rev3, 4 Icarii plus goodies. on: September 13, 2012, 03:19:16 PM
Single:  85btc each (3 available)
X6500:  40btc each (2 available)
Icarus:  38btc each (2 available, 3 more on the way provided I didn't get ripped off).

Free Cablez cable (pci-e adapter) if you buy all of one type.  Willing to negotiate if you buy everything and I'll throw in the nifty psu.

I will give you 185 BTC for the 3 singles.
922  Bitcoin / Mining support / Data limits becoming an issue......any thoughts? on: September 13, 2012, 02:01:17 PM
Hey all,

One of my three locations is using Verizon broadband for internet access, and it works great.  Unfortunately, I am now consistently going over the 10 GB data limit 2/3's through the billing cycle and am charged 10 bucks per GB overage.

The facility hosts approximately 16-17 GH/s.

Is it normal to burn through 10 GB in data in only 20 days with this type of hashing power?  Is there any way to reduce the data usage?  Or am I just F-ed?

thanks!

Man, how long until that number is disconnected.....

I don't think it will be. Look at this beauty Ted once had for sale.

If it is, he'll have a lot of explaining to do to Mr. Whipple (seriously): http://www.mysumc.org/storage/youth-documents/Confirmation%20Overview%2011.12.pdf

This is getting seriously fun now.

If everyone wants to chip in and buy me a plane ticket, I will fly to Texas and pay a visit to Stonebridge ministries.

Do you really get the PPS they advertise?   That seems like the best deal around right now?

Yes.  I believe it is a 5% fee, so you can do better......but their stability is rock solid.
927  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: BFL, Icarus, 7970s on: September 12, 2012, 06:56:33 PM
3x Sapphire 7970 - 35 BTC/card
5x Icarus - 45 BTC/card
1x BFL single - 90 BTC

Pickup in GTA (Toronto) or include shipping to your location.

Will give you 27 BTC per 7970
will give you 70 BTC for the single.

100 BTC for the lot, with shipping.

No interest in the Icarus.

He has 3 7970's. Offering 100 BTC for 3 7970s plus a BFL single is an insult.

Shit, my bad.  You are absolutely right, I forgot to multiply!

edited!
928  Economy / Lending / Re: BitcoinMax Account For Sale (2048 BTC) on: September 12, 2012, 06:55:48 PM
I will give you 62 BTC for the debt.....contingent upon proof of ownership.
Out of curiosity - what makes you think this is worth that?

I retract my offer upon further consideration.

I have switched over to Ozcoin until the issues are resolved.  Don't like the whole phantom payout thing.

Do you use DGM or PPS at OZ?

Used to be DGM....but I recently changed to PPS simply for the certainty.  I need predictability in my operations.

I will give you 90 BTC.

I know you think that is lowball, but considering the circumstances it is all I am willing to risk.

I had another forum member just point this out:

What's actually happening for whatever reason is that their "paid out" stat on the dashboard is also incrementing up every minute for some reason...

If you total up all of your payouts and subtract that from your total rewards, everything's good.

So, your balance at the moment is just skewed by this...

I just verified this......I am owed about 16 BTC, but my balance only reflects 4.5.  I tried to withdraw 10 BTC and was not allowed to do so.

When can we expect this to be ironed out?

Now seems stats are UNDER reporting shares and most importantly BTC owed....  Angry

Please review and advise...

I also am seeing this.....very disconcerting.  When can we expect to have this corrected, or should we switch to other pools for the time being?

ROFL.  You just popped off to a guy who has his CFA charter, his CPA, and runs a financial firm with 500 million under management.

Obviously I don't know anything about it.
Don't want to get in a pissing match but my career was in the global bond markets.  So yes, it's clear you don't know anything about it.

Of course it was.  I'm sure you are a globe trotting, soros advising genius.  It is apparant from your complete disregard for credit worthiness and sole focus on yield.

You must have been wildly successful given that is WAS your "career".

You people crack me up.
