Chinese government just shot a guy to death last month since they thought he runs a Ponzi scheme

I see what you're talking about, there was a guy got executed, and there were a lot of protests, because people think he didn't deserve death penalty, because he didn't get to see his family before executed, and probably because we don't have judicial independence here.

But he was running a Ponzi scheme.

I have no interest in defending the Chinese government but your words are misleading, and I have to explain to the westerners what happened.
actually he is not. Chinese government took his property so he can not pay the debt, which makes it look like a Ponzi scheme, but it's not. he didn't waste money he borrowed, he has a big real estate company, and all real estate companies in China profit a lot.

Yep, and this has happened before many times. When you get rich in China, without proper background, your money will soon be confiscated one way or another.
943  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTCT.CO] [IPO] [FAQ]BTCGARDEN MINER---Eyes to the horizon on: August 05, 2013, 04:03:32 AM
I am confused, I thought BTC-Garden was still selling IPO shares (That all the IPO still remains unfulfilled) however I am seeing many shares being sold below the IPO price. If people are already selling below IPO does this mean BTC-Garden will have a tough time selling more IPO shares?

Avalon just got 200 Million in funding to produce 20nm chips.  I'll let you infer what that means.

Thanks for spreading a confirmed fake news.

Yesterday this had 7/0 votes but today it's 6/0 - what gives?

Great spot and question. Someone withdrew their yes vote?

We're now down to 5/0 votes. I bailed for a small profit at 0.01655 yesterday (made 0.5 BTC on a 21 and change BTC investment).

These vote removal questions have been entirely ignored. Can either Burnside or BTC Garden rep or the people who removed their vote please comment.

Why is there a question at all? votes fluctuate all the time due to people trading LTC-GLOBAL shares. The only thing to watch for is whether there are negative votes, which means somebody might know something bad or have reason to believe there's something bad going on.

947  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] S.MPOE / S.BBET Pass-throughs on: August 04, 2013, 03:15:24 PM
Interesting, on btct someone just bought over a thousand shares of s.bbet above 0.003

2013-08-03 22:19:13    Market Buy    1    ฿ 0.003    ฿ 0.003
2013-08-03 09:05:16    Market Buy    11    ฿ 0.003    ฿ 0.033
2013-08-03 09:05:16    Market Buy    1000    ฿ 0.003    ฿ 3
2013-08-03 09:05:16    Market Buy    148    ฿ 0.00295    ฿ 0.4366

while s.bbet is trading on mpex at around 0.001 or less

s.mpoe is also trading at a premium on btct, though not as much

I guess this is due to the PT being so tiny, there's a lack of shares.

949  Economy / Securities / Re: [BF and BTCT] Gamma SatoshiDICE Pass Through on: August 02, 2013, 07:28:39 PM
MPEX withdrawals are processed manually.  They can take a couple of days.
Indeed,
I am currently waiting for the withdraw from MPEX.
I will add a bit of extra BTC as compensation for good manners.
//DeaDTerra

Bitfunder holders got only 0.0035 per share? I think Erik paid a little bit more than that + you promissed to add a bit extra. Whoever bought thse share for 0.0035 from me about 2 weeks ago was calculating with this. Poor fellows got scammed twice.

Erik paid exactly 0.0035 to shareholders of sdice.

You already got the extra promised, since he did the dividend for free, not taking any cuts.
950  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 02, 2013, 07:00:23 PM
the 3 million shares should either not be tradeable on BTCT until a certain amount of time
OR the shares should be marked/colored in a way so that people know that they are buying the team's shares. this would also indicate for everyone to panic - heh

I agree, there's a reason there's a IPO "lock up" period for insiders in real world IPO. Especially when labcoin is going against the norm on btct (insider shares are not normally tradable)
951  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 02, 2013, 05:04:26 PM
Are you saying you don't think Labcoin is Chinese?

I think "half Chinese" more accurately describes labcoin, and with "TheSwede75" as their PR person, I almost think this is a prank/trolling attempt.
952  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 02, 2013, 05:01:47 PM
FYI, chinese companies have averaged negative returns for foreign investors over the last 20+ years
yes, this means exactly that. on average foreign investors have lost money investing into chinese companies (after ipos)

as to who is better labcoin or btcgarden - who KNOWS-  noone at the moment. btc garden values itself 6x more than labcoin and the question is are the chances of them delivering and being a better company 6x higher?

Burnside - you should get CONFIRMATIONS from foundries saying that they have contracts or are manufacturing for said companies to confirm at least some legitimacy from mining companies

back to the regular programing

I highly doubt that's true (chinese companies have negative returns for investors), any source to support your claim?
953  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 02, 2013, 04:43:36 PM
People bashing Labcoin have a right to their opinion of course but IMO, despite the launch which was a bit messy and not their fault, they have been the most communicative and professional out of all the recent IPOs. They have also been realistic with their goals and are not over promising. These are all good signs.

BFL also looked most promising, professional and very good communication/forum presence, which brought in a LOT of money. But it's the Chinese companies that deliver.
954  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 02, 2013, 04:20:22 PM
Here you go you persistent little pissant

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=213172.0

Notice the date of the original post? May 22nd ?

So, what delays? August or September as best case scenario is what he originally promised on May 22nd?
955  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 02, 2013, 04:11:20 PM
ok brother go invest in BTCgarden then and have fun with it because I already did my reserach on them and have been following AIWill for several months now, if you have just found the thread through the securities section then you are a lot less informed than I

Then show me the post you followed so much for months???
956  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 02, 2013, 04:06:38 PM
Show me the post then.

Why? I could give a shit less about being right? i told you where to look go find it

If you can support your own argument, then I don't really give a shit about what you said, since it's just baseless lies.
957  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 02, 2013, 04:04:00 PM
Exo

I was not even talking to you nor am I "Closing my eyes?"

I have not purchased any shares at these levels and have already stated that I sold some of my position to hedge my initial investment, Why are people so impatient? I purchased stocks of this company because 1 IPO and 2 Sounded promising,

So it doesnt move every day? boo friggen hoo? I was merely stating that selling now is selling out of panic since nothing has really changed since the IPO we are waiting to see what the company does next and I am waiting for more news so I can sell into STRENGTH and not Weakness,

as for kok, that is the thread he started here as I stated there is a thread in the custom hardware section with promises that were not met PRIOR to august or september, so instead of throwing info that I already know at me why dont you look back and see how AIWill has made promises which have not been kept

Show me the post then.
958  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 02, 2013, 03:58:00 PM
Funny I can think of instant rebuttals to your comments,

The company did EVERYTHING to influence my trade, I was originally going to purchase 300 BTC worth however only got a fraction of that, they posted transparent information and obviously put on a good enough show hence the insane demand

uh again im not the only person to have gotten in at the IPO... People who were at the right place at the right time also got to benefit like I did,

Ok but you can say the same for every mining company? I would be surprised if AIwill actually does the same considering that he has been making promises for so long, you think his thread in the securities section is the original thread? Look at custom hardware and there is a thread that has been live for 3 months or longer with deadlines he set and were not met,

sounds a bit unprofessional to me when someone who sets their own deadline cant even meet it

What the hell are you talking about? his own words were: "we will have around 100T hashrate online on this August or September as our best situation."
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=15911.msg2232512#msg2232512

And we are on 2nd day of August, he has nearly a full 2 month before he pass his own deadline? Seems to me they are right on schedule. Also he specifically said it's their best case scenario, which means delays are possible.

Oh and demand for BTCST were extremely high too, how did that turn out for their investors? I'm sure plenty of people made a lot of money in trading BTCST too, as long as they weren't the last ones holding it when it collapsed.
959  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 02, 2013, 03:48:28 PM
Right,

Have you seen BTCgarden.com? the coming soon has been like that for so long, I also do not like how arrogant the operator(aiwill) is, for someone who is asking for so much money I expect a more professional attitude,

The original thread also spoke of how the company was going to raise its own money but now is asking for like 16M, expensive is not always good sometimes you get the same quality from a cheaper alternative and only because you can pay is why they charge what they charge

never see my money again? I doubled my investment in an instant and people are pissed about how they cant get in for .001 sounds like I got in at the bottom and am going to wait for my investment to mature before I just let it go, I have early adopter status as well as many of the other people who bought in at the IPO you think we are going to just let it go?

You made money because you made a good trade, not because anything the company has done. I'm not saying you personally will lose money, but the shareholders when this company cease operation.

I won't speak of this any more, time will tell. I'd be surprised if this company can get their own asic deployed within 1 year, or ever. They will probably use a portion of money to buy AM or btcgarden hardware, and then lie.
960  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 02, 2013, 03:36:04 PM
Yes lets try to cause some panic,

I hold 100K+ shares and took out some of my initial investment, why would you panic sell now when the company hasnt said much when all it will take is a small bit of news to get others to buy in?

also Why BTCgarden? Because they are chinese? they are asking for so much money it seems a bit ridiculous to me but ill probably put in a couple 100BTC incase it does make some movement,

Just saying if people are selling Labcoin now go for it but doing so now would be doing it out of panic.. sell into strength not weakness or no news at all..

Expensive, is better than never seeing your money again. I strongly suspect this is a scam. Well maybe not a scam, just incompetent operation.
