941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Four Keys to Success on: March 28, 2018, 01:17:50 PM
Learn how to trade, patience, searching or reading what ico legit but also you have money ro invest here.this is my four key to get success to the cryptocurrencies and i known someday you will to your children how to be success.
If you are into the world of trading, then you really need to learn number of things and that you need to spent most of your time in learning and practicing of the trade because this is the only thing which will help you in becoming an expert in trading and to have an opportunity of becoming a better trader.

You need to practice how to control your emotions and nerves at tough times and to keep on reading more about crypto market as well.
I can understand you mate. One mistake a lot of people make though is to try to do some of these things without learning and that is where they end up screwing up a lot. Many people always sell wrongly and end up joining FOMO as time goes on when they can at least learn how to trade and make the best of the market.

One thing I have learned is that market is always going to be one way ahead, but with trading, you can still at least learn to play safe. Otherwise surviving in this highly competitive trading field is highly impossible in terms of safeguarding our capital amount.
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy Eth? on: March 28, 2018, 12:00:14 PM
You should not wait to buy because it might begin to start recovering soon. Buying ETH now should be the best decision for any investor to take because ETH still has the potential to rise,so anyone who invested in it will surely make profit.
I would consider for anyone who can know what to watch out for on the chart before buying to still relax as we cannot ascertain yet if Ethereum may even drop lower than it is already now. However, it is the market, and nothing is predictable, so for those who do not have much to look for, I would say buy in margins.

Allocate some percentage into buying now, and if it goes lower in the long run or upper, then buy more. The thing is you are holding a long position; you are not going to be missing anything. Keep buying is simple but effective way of not missing out any ultimate dips.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to legalize ICOs on: March 28, 2018, 10:42:30 AM
It maybe a fake news, I never heard that China will legalize ico, the government holds a clear attitude toward ico, especially the main task is to ensure the finance security, I think there is no way to legalize ico for two or three years in China

Actually the new governor of the China Central Bank make a positive statement about crypto-currencies immediately after he got his seat. So this could be very real news and China will aim into taxes from all cryptos.

His predecessor was well known to be anti-crypto.
Yeah, I have been reading a whole lot about this guy and it seems he is a big time cryptocurrency enthusiast as most of the things he has been saying keeps tending towards how they can make it work and so on. However, it is not something he can do alone anyway, even though he is in a huge position to implement some monetary policies changes.

I really do not want to bother myself with anything that comes from China again anyway; it just seems like some set of non-serious government that does not know what they want. You hear one thing today and you end up hearing something different tomorrow.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: March 28, 2018, 07:53:48 AM
as the crypto currency is rapidly developing, hardly we will wait for the stabilization of the market for 2 years  Shocked
Your comment really got me laughing, as I imagined my 3 year old kid asking me a question like this, more like after being scared. Relax bro, no one knows anything but the chances are 50:50. It may happen and it may not, and the OP in his use of English simply used the word 'COULD', so it is not like he told you he is sure himself.

Judging from the past, which is irrelevant to me anyway, since we cannot always attribute the past to always repeat, but there is always a possibility of going into a consolidation period for a long time after some huge correction but nothing to worry about.
945  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ten years later on: March 27, 2018, 07:35:17 PM
The value affects the price, and I'm going to analyze the value of the decade.

To understand the value of bitcoin, we start with the basic value of money, which is also money.

Money is the most common and effective mutual trust system ever. In any form of currency, its value is essentially: "does anyone believe" why the dollar is the most valuable? Because the world believes in it.

The popularity of bitcoin has grown rapidly in recent years with the development of the Internet. I predict that the price of bitcoins in 10 years should be more than half a million dollars.
In ten years, that is likely possible and extremely realistic but depends on a lot of factors. Yeah, we may not be able to know what exactly the value of bitcoin may be at any point in time, but the fact remains that there are some things that sounds likely and this is one of them. 10 years is a lot ahead of us and I am very sure that it is going to be a great one within those periods, and I would not be surprised before the end of the 10 years, anything positive could have happened, but at least it is better to stick with what is reasonable.
946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep these things in mind when you are into crypto world on: March 27, 2018, 01:08:36 PM
Thank you for your advice, but I think it is not good time to take part in ICOs, most of the ICOs have not enough value, but so much risky.
Being risky does not mean you cannot take part in it, what is important is for you to know how to minimize the risk to your advantage. We may say because of the risk, we want to stay away, but at the same time, staying away will also make you miss the best part of it. The advantage of ICO is to be a part of a great project from the start and early adopters always end up having the best in any case. Once you can do your diligence with proper scrutiny, then you should be fine.

-snip
Scammers are everywhere and probably due to the prime advantage of cryptos, being anonymous, these scammers may have some extra edge. But being careful in common weapon everywhere which will protect us for sure.
947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin preparing for a bull run?? on: March 27, 2018, 06:37:52 AM
There are people waiting to dump it again like spreading fuds, well recovery from $10k might be getting harder and harder every time bitcoin falls under $9k. Lot of people are saying april could be the start of the bull run, well i hope they were right Smiley
Well, let them dump, then we will buy as they keep dumping. The market has been in a huge correction and we cannot expect it to just keep moving up and up just like that without some accumulation. No one can say exactly how everything will end up turning out but at least we can keep hoping that everything will turn out to be fine very soon. With the optimism going on in the market, I really do not know why we are still hanging somehow now.

Are we out of the bear market and into the bull market ?
There cannot be an exact answer for this from my side until $19800 is broken and a new ATH will be set. Yes, beating previous high could an obvious symptom to conclude about the end of bearish market.
948  Economy / Speculation / Re: And now? on: March 27, 2018, 04:27:01 AM
We had to deal with a dip this week. Prices seem to be climbing back again. The question is how we move forward after this dip?
We worry too much about everything. This is a market, some have a strong position and what do we really expect will happen? We should blame those who panic sell or join FOMOs, not the whales who are busy making money from the market and we may see it as a manipulation, but the truth is that as long as some are in that position to take advantage of the market for the profit, we cannot expect anything different until further big positive happening.

Simply in other word, holding is the only option for all the investors regardless of they are believing into the future of bitcoins, i.e. their holding may last for either short term or long term but keeping holding and keep watching may get them better results rather than worrying.
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has bitcoin price reached its peak? on: March 26, 2018, 11:14:37 AM
For the question of bitcoin is already reached its peak price levels then definitely you want to, has bitcoin being adopted by all the people this world or leased by half of the world population or 10% of them ? If the answer is "no" then definitely the peak price of bitcoin yet to come. I mean to say adoption level will be deciding bitcoin price level which means more demand will occur when more people will be adopting bitcoin which only decide the peak price of bitcoins.

Japan's adoption and regulation may first out of world's ~180 country. More country may follow Japan in coming days which may decide another level of demand of bitcoins. In my opinion, it is completely meaningless to call $19,800 as a peak level of bitcoin for all the times.
950  Economy / Economics / Re: Porsche introduces blockchain to cars on: March 26, 2018, 10:20:18 AM
Really interesting. If we can keep getting news like this to change the fundamental of things in the market, I am sure it should help a lot in getting us fine and kicking. Blockchain technology is becoming something that is growing wide than we can all imagine even far than some of us would have imagined it to be few years ago and having something like this in a short while, I can imagine what the future holds for this technology.

In my view people first accept or come to know the advantages of blockchain technology and then will think about adopting bitcoins. Hence, adoptions like this will make blockchain technology to be heard lots of people which may work for adopting bitcoins later on.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: The significance of bitcoin decentralization on: March 25, 2018, 05:58:04 PM
Strongly agree with you my friend.

Looks like many people will have an open mind now after the G20.
Who wants someone else controlling your money. That is your money, sweat and blood poured just so you could get it and then they want to control you on how you will use it or how much you can just withdraw.

That should be stopped and bitcoin is the answer for it.
Yeah, I want to believe so. The G20 summit has shown a lot of investors where the government really stands and that are what has been long waited for since it has been the main center of discussion and now that we have that cleared out, at least we can start having some breathing space and start seeing the market back.

Other than these, what the Op said, is basically true and that is what makes the idea of decentralization lovely anyway and why a lot of us are here. Enough of the banks duping us.
952  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is so unfair on: March 25, 2018, 05:22:12 PM
Isn't it so unfair for the people who is new here? That will be struggling making such as good quality post so they could be given a merit by someone. I know all of you is having a hard time thinking what are you going to post such as good quality.

It is really hard to have a merit it is because as far as I know:
People are selfish. Even though you post a really good quality post still there is a people who won't give you a merit.
Some are alone. Like me, I don't really have much friend who would give me a free merit. I know that it is easy to have a merit with a friend that have an account of bitcointalk.

My question is. Why still need merit? We are still struggling to rank because of the merit.

I think merit is very fair with the merit of a lot of rank seekers who only focus on the rank to participate in bounty campaign is not able to move again and with the merit is very little to get up the rank up to legendary board administrator is also likely to limit the legendary member. so the conclusion I do not have to be afraid to not get a merit you will surely be able to get merit if your post is unique and useful.
Yes. I do believe we should not give up and need to keep dropping good posts and people will notice them once our posts help them. I understand the feelings of OP though regarding how people keep hoarding merit and how it is unfair to those who are just joining newly.

Nevertheless, we have to understand that this forum is not just only about making money, but to share and learn and if you can easily do that, without worrying ourselves too much about merit, we will always get it.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: March 25, 2018, 02:13:52 PM
No, I never experienced it. It should be a lesson for you and for all of us, when we go gambling to the casino, we can not carry too much money and "obligate" always leaves money for the fare home. You must be used to it, but under pressure, you end up using it to gamble again, and you know what the consequences are now? you do not have to stop gambling if you still want to, you just have to keep in mind that leaving a little money for the return fare is important.
It is really a lesson for everyone who gambles to try as much as possible to never get extremely into the whole idea of making so much from gambling that they will have to end up losing everything and not have the strength to control the impulse. What the OP did, if not because he listened to himself, a lot of people always end up in the shackles of addiction trying to recover from that point onward.

If a gambler starts feeling shame for being a gambler then he may find quitting ways. Until they realize themselves it may persist as a problem for them then leading a life within shameful environment may become inevitable.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: March 25, 2018, 01:29:07 PM
And the worst is walking home on foot for kilometers for not having money for transportation   Shocked. Then sleeping on the street because their wives have driven them away from home. Wow. I cant imagine how gamblers can be so hardheaded.

Its happening to some people right now, feel sorry for them. Now people here should learn from this kind of situation before its too late, learn to control your emotion and always remember your family. Don't ever sacrifice your life into this kind of addiction, because it can really break not only your life but of course of your family.

If in online gambling, then I don't think that everyone will walk home, but in real life casinos, well it is possible, and it happens if you are careless when betting. Just like a father who thinks that he is single and by all means bet all that he has.

There are times that gamblers don't think anymore, as long as they could follow what they are feeling. Forgetting everything, including their debts and obligation.
Yes, if it is online gambling, you would not walk home, but I am sure you will be walking the whole streets of your country in your dream and wake up with a sore leg after the incident. That time that gamblers do not think anymore, then that time, they are already lost and it would take a lot trying to find them or bring them back.

I really do not know what ends up pushing people to this level, but whatever it is, it is never good and this must be a prime factor which makes all people to suggest like staying away from gambling but unfortunately no one is ready to listen until they experience it personally.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: Culture on: March 25, 2018, 08:18:06 AM
It seems to me that not the games themselves are part of human culture, but the need for distraction, the need to relax from everyday life. People need specially allocated periods of time in which they can not restrain their desires. For example, in the Middle Ages such an instrument of "detente" was carnivals. Games for modern people are like medieval carnivals. While playing, people forget about time, about their duties, about problems. They are just well, they are not not responsible at this particular moment and only experience good emotions.
Distraction is a good call for it. Sometimes it can really be fun if it wants to and most especially depending on who is in the picture, but I would not see it as being part of the culture as some usually do not fancy it anyway and they would rather do other things than gamble even if it is legal. I feel it is just a personal thing and people have their own way of perceiving things and while some see it as a way to socialize, some see it in a different way.
956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good time to start buying bitcoin or should i wait? on: March 24, 2018, 06:25:32 PM
The price of bitcoin is down right now, so I highly recommend you to buy now. Wait until the price goes up then sell when you are satisfied on your profit or you can hold it for longterm.
Except for unnecessary FOMOs. I always believe that anyone who is joining now though and looking forward to the future would not really bother about what is present but would look forward to the future and make every single day and easy time to buy without fear or panic. I believe we have not even gotten anywhere yet and what we have now is just a start of what is coming.

If anyone is not even buying right now, then I wonder when they are looking forward to buying. Few months ago at the ATH, so many were waiting for dip and now that the dip is here, some are still contemplating on whether to buy or not. We are in a period where everything right now is cheap, and the last time I checked, the best time to get in is when everything is cheap. I do not see any reason waiting for someone who plans to go long.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: March 24, 2018, 04:44:43 PM
It is quite normal to expect the ICO tokens to have a dip in price during the first few months of their launch. It is because of the bounty participants that the price fall because there are many people who work in bointy programs to promote the ICOs and then when the tokens/coins are launched in the exchanges, the people dump it to get BTC in return for it. This is how the cycle had been working until today.
Yeah, this has been a normal trend for a long time now and most especially when the whole market is in a downtrend.

Investors now are either waiting for the price to hit the exchange and willing to take the risk at times like this, since the price will end up going way down below anyway. That happened in my investment with ADB recently, but I had no choice than to just buy additional at the dips anyway and I was able to recover a lot when the market had a little bit of rise back to the ICO price.

First, we are in a corrective market and most market tends to be down at times like this, but if you are considering for an ICO to just wait to hit the market before buying, then that makes a lot of sense right now considering you will even be having a sweet deal more than you would have had when you bought during the ICO and a lot of investors are beginning to get worried with that anyway which makes it totally unreasonable with the idea of having an ICO in the first place.
958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making 1% Daily on: March 24, 2018, 03:19:45 PM
I think that with a market going down as it is now, it is extremely difficult and risky to trade successfully. So you set a target of 1% every day that I think is perfect. physical. I think that if you can work hard and research and exchange your analytical skills, earning 1% every day is absolutely possible and very easy.
Every trader does not care if the market is going up or going down. If you can trade efficiently, you can trade any trend in the market and you can even make more than that but it all depends on your knowledge. Like you said, it is very possible, and in fact it should not even take much sweat to be able to achieve that once you know what you are doing when you are trading.

I don't think it works like that. Crypto market is too unstable to count your profit percentages in this way Undecided
Why will that affect you in counting your percentage profit? That is just a mere calculation. If you trade, probably day trade, you should get a lot from whatever you trade and at the end of the month, you can decide to calculate based on what you started with, what you have now and then equate the percentage profit or loss as the case may be. With good knowledge of trading, 1% daily is highly attainable.
959  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ten years later on: March 24, 2018, 10:34:58 AM

Yes if during that there are no major obstacles that affect the growth of bitcoin prices. The popularity of bitcoin is getting more and more of a certain party feeling threatened.
Like banks, they are increasingly losing their real investors because the profits they offer are not as high as the benefits of investing in bitcoins where those benefits are never offered by anyone.
Banks will never stop feeling threatened as this is a technology that has come to disrupt a lot of things with them not being able to put us in those shackles like they always have in the past. Honestly, even in my country, a lot of things are changing already with international transactions as banks are now beginning to remove some restrictions that have been placed, probably this is a way to explain how threatened they feel. Well, I hope to see in 10 years, banks begging us to come and save in the bank.
960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Invest on Bitcoin now or wait? on: March 24, 2018, 04:23:33 AM
I missed the last dip and am wondering if I should hold out for another oucoming dip or if the current price for Bitcoin are still decent.

Maybe you should ask yourself this question. Why did you miss the last dip? That is meant to be rhetorical anyway.

I really wonder why a lot of people wait for a dip and they end up missing the dip eventually. If you cannot trade and you see a good offer to buy at a huge dip, buy and stop waiting for more dip as you may never get it and even miss the chance of the present one. The same way people get greedy when the market is having a bull rally, is the same way people get greedy when there is a bear rally, and you are already tending towards that.

The market waits for no one and maybe if you remove a little bit of greed and fuel it with some understanding that what you are holding is for the future, you will always take every single dip personal as an opportunity to buy immediately. Maybe you should ask those who were waiting for further dip early last year before the bull run. It is your decision to make!
Well said. Honestly, it is really crazy to see how people think. Market was $19800, people will ask whether to buy. Now market is hovering around $7k to $9k and then some will still keep asking you whether to buy. I feel it is either they have no understanding of what they want to buy and they are looking for quick profit, or they just do not get it.

This is a market and no one knows what can happen the next minute, but someone who understands the value of bitcoin and believe in its future, the value now is extremely low.
