941  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Funds Are Safe on: June 22, 2018, 09:56:47 PM
This is kind of funny but when i watched this funny video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DelF6zEHXpE
i inspired to make a project. And here it is:

https://fundsaresafe.com/

What do you think?
What do i think? Its just funny the same as you think. Why would people do make use of your wallet yet we do have lots wallets in the market that we can have our own control. 98% gains on a duration of 1 year? It isnt really appealing at all and erc20 can possibly shoot up more than on 100% in a matter of time, it depends thats why its senseless to make use.

Fund wont really be safe if its being store into other wallet.Lets keep this thing on our mind always.
942  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crash recoveries are not moons on: June 21, 2018, 11:20:25 PM
It's irritating to see people saying that after a 20% crash (which happened a week ago or so), that 1 or 2% daily recoveries is a good sign for the market. It's not.
You cant blame people and get used to it for those people who do react even on a small increase percentage on bitcoins price or on any altcoins in the market. Being optimistic or hopeful is always been part of the of human nature. If you are irritated then this cryptomarket would just stress you out because you can really remove or do avoid those people who do make such reactions. Therefore just neglect it and move on.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Salary in BTC from the Israeli company Spot.IM on: June 21, 2018, 08:33:27 PM
This news is pretty cool. I read that actually the company has the main office in New York, but is mainly governed by Israeli people. As the CEO made in to Israel Forbes 30 under 30, I think it is quite a solid company that can start a general trend by this action if it succeeds in negotiations with the tax authorities. Israel is a small and technologically advanced country, no doubt they can make changes and help bitcoin become a decent means of payment. Though as their headquarters is in the US, I suppose they might need to deal with American laws as well and that might be tough.
Opposing american laws would be just like banging your own head into a wall which i would say also this would really be tough and most likely it would failed up. Its good to see such adoption but question on my mind is that the company already embraced the risk of volatility of bitcoin? How they would able to handle or retain such price movement when its already dumping?
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doing ICO as solo developer on: June 21, 2018, 07:06:52 PM
Hello,

I'm new in the forum, but following blockchain since 2013.

So my question is, are you ever seen any solo developer ICO's? Or the big team is more attractive for investors?
You can do it solo as you preferred but to expect you would still end up on failing because you wont able to develop or create a proper or well organized thing. More heads and hands is better than one which you should really need a team where would able to play or do make their own job on there own considering there are lots of things to be considered when we do organized our own project. Developing, Marketing and other stuffs. You cant done those things on your own.
945  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Dark use of Bitcoin on: June 21, 2018, 06:13:32 PM
What a shame to avail bitcoin for illegal purposes. Well, we have our own rights to do whatever we think good and pleasing to our souls. But we should remember that we live once so why kill some lives of innocent? Everyone have its own family that we love. Much better to use bitcoin money to family than to use it for illegal uses.

Good answer, it is better to think about a reliable future, and even to bear it. And do not risk everyone to buy a little cheaper or illegally.
Sad reality but get used to it because people do have different mindsets which means they dont even care on what you have mentioned or talk here about concern for other lives or even have a reliable future as long they do able to make money by means of illegal things then other people or other things wont really be on their concern. We do know or accept the fact that earning money thru illegal things is way more faster and bigger compared into legal ways.
946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [SURVEY] Why do people invest in ICOs? What are decision criteria? on: June 21, 2018, 05:34:45 PM
try to investigate why people invest in ICOs (decision criteria, motives, behavior) in an empirical fashion
When it comes to criteria then usual stuff you would able to hear from most people on here or investors, always look up with the projects potential by checking out the whitepaper and the team behind it.
Quote
motives
Motives? For sure we do all know this thing which we do all aim for "MONEY"
Quote
behavior
Different behavior when it comes to investment yet each people do have significant actions into circumstances.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 vs waves on: June 21, 2018, 04:44:16 PM
ERC20 tokens have not anything different from Waves token. But this tokens are more popular because of ICO are on the ETH platform. I don't have any definitive against Waves. But simply I don't like this coin
They are both crypto but when it comes to feature ERC20 is way more better than waves and thats what people do see when it comes to difference and the price itself would speak regarding on their gap and popularity.

Waves are far from ETH. I haven't even seen a valuable token on waves. Most of the tokens on waves are worthless, and waves are not as stable as ETH. The price of waves always fluctuates sharply.
Not so much coins do make use of Waves platform and the market do speak out and seeing most of them do make use of ERC20, sometimes im getting pissed out on project do lunch using erc20 i do really like to see other platforms too.
948  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [20-06-2018] Goldman Sachs CEO: Bitcoin Would be Adopted just like Paper Money on: June 20, 2018, 08:05:07 PM
The same CEO also said that he's not into BTC. It's still better than being against it, but he's not an enthusiast. His conservative banking background is keeping him at bay.
There's no point in looking for positive opinions among the bankers. They won't like it and we should deal with it. Horse chariot owners didn't like automobiles, but they had to keep on living. World changes whether we like it or not. Wink

Innovation or such changes cant really be stopped which means even though they dont like it or not preferred to make such transition then its their choice but they are already fully aware that they do exist but i rather believe that they do took consideration to make engagement when they do saw some convincing benefits specially with BTC or into Cryptocurrency itself. Im little bit tired on overall comments by either famous people or whatsoever.
949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have firm decisions on trading, hodle for future long term profits. on: June 20, 2018, 04:00:09 PM
As we're heading in the quarter of the year, few months passed through many of us here whose trading for good wasn't  able to learn such ideas on how to develop courage which could help us to gain firm decisions. That's a recommendation for everyone to hodle for a few rounds of fluctuations and to encourage everyone for better future on our aim for profitable value of our holdings. Trade when it's needed to, but hold for longer terms and you'll be surprised by the time you're coins will attain a good price in the market.

If you arent confident enough on your trading skills no matter how hard you do try to trade and make investment and returns arent on satsifactory level well its normal for a person to find more safer way with just a simple logic they would really come to the idea on holding up on their coins rather than on trading it actively. Theres significant advantages on shorter and longer trades it does depend on traders preference on which way he would used up.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tell me some profitable airdrops on: June 20, 2018, 02:48:18 PM
i am looking for "good" airdrops but i have no idea where to start.

Tell me some hints  Cool Wink
Hints? Then try to check on here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0  but i would say that most airdrops arent good so therefore dont expect too much into those things. Joining or claiming airdrops arent too hard because even just common sense a certain person would able to understant easily. The thing here you should avoid is to invest or sent any amounts and be careful on inputting things which you shouldnt put up privatekey instead of public address where most newbies do commit on.
951  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Recovering private keys. on: June 19, 2018, 11:19:52 PM
Is there a way to recover my lost important informations in electrum app wallet which i downloaded from playstore.

I am trying to recover my private key with my gmail but this is really mission impossible.

Did you write down the recovery seed when initially creating the wallet? If so, you could just use this recovery seed to recover the wallet on any device you'd like.
If you didn't write down the recovery seed, i hope you didn't remove electrum and cleared the cache? I guess as long as the app remains installed on your device, there'll be a way to get your hands on the wallet file itself.

So, bottom line, you need either one of these:
- the wallet file + the pincode
- the recovery seed

I don't know what you're trying to do with a gmail account here... AFAIK, gmail has nothing to do with electrum (eventough i haven't used the android client of electrum in quite a while)
Lucky if he dont able to delete the app once deleted recovery wont be possible. I have the same question on my mind on how gmail is related into this since electrum doesnt really require such information. Wallet file or seed neither of those 2 things can make recovery if you havent such thing then considered those bitcoin to be lost forever and this should be an eye opener for you to keep necessary or important things anytime when it comes to your wallets.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: June 19, 2018, 10:17:50 PM
It is really hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.  After completing all the requirements to be able to get accepted in a bounty campaign, spending much time to participate in forums and not to mention carrying their banners, completing all the tasks and reports then all of a sudden you will just find out that you have been scammed already.  luckily I am not the only one but to think all participants did the same efforts as well as you did.  But it is really happening, lesson learned and could be just charge it to experience and move on.  If we could only find out at early stage if we were in to scam or a legit bounty campaign.  Who would really know anyway?
Nowadays its a bit hard to know if the project is genuine or not, just recently I joined in a fb campaign and after few months of effort it turn out the project is scam. I feel sorry to those who invest because of their good promises plus our effort and good words to advertise their project that lead to investors to buy their tokens.
Sometimes we do really think up those kind of situations where we do blame ourselves to be part of that scam project where it do leads out for its investors to be scammed. We are the ones who do promote them which means because of us they intend to invest but as a bounty hunter this thing is inevitable we are hoping on getting paid out and we are just doing for the sake on earning to so its part of the job and non on personal matters. Detecting is hard is you dont made a proper research on a project.
953  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trading without capital on: June 19, 2018, 09:51:49 PM
trading with no capaital? it is very hard for someone to do it because trading requires a value to circulate in the market so from 0 it is hard to do it. Maybe it is better for you to gain income from signature then if you have be a trader.
Yes it is very hard, it can be possible in one sense, if someone can lend you money on interest and you use the given amount for trading, but still you are using capital for trading either it is your own money or you have taken it from someone else, so  its mean that it is not possible to do trading without having any capital in your hand.
Loans just to get a capital is really a dangerous thing to be done specially when you are just starting up on trading. Risk of deep debt would be there since you are just making gambling on your first time. Trading isnt simple thats why its dumb to make use directly of borrowed funds because it will turn out to be a double trouble on your side comparing earning some money from task being offered here on this forum would be somehow ideal and plausible.
954  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-19] The difference between cryptocurrency and non-cryptocurrency on: June 19, 2018, 08:32:51 PM
Been surprised reading up some links posted came from bitcoingarden but well going back into the topic on where with just a simple logic and a little bit mix of common sense we do able to spot out the difference. New innovations compared to traditional ones where there would be always things that would differ but we cant avoid the fact it would takes time to make such transition just like on the example being mentioned out.
For now if we do plan to engage into newer things then you should be sensible enough to know first about it not just carelessly jump in because of the hype.
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did crypto become mainstream too early? on: June 18, 2018, 09:48:40 PM

Hear me out: I think we got too popular too fast. The normal person on the ground would expect to use crypto much more for daily-life transactions but this is not currently the case. Maybe we needed some more time for the technology to mature (no scaling issues, slow transactions, etc) THEN the normies come in. Right?
Anything on this world do really need a sufficient time to be developed and when it comes to cryptocurrencies theres no need to fasten it up. Adoption would always vary on how people would make use of it but one of the biggest factor that do affect adoption is on government itself. It might give some noise but if law or government would block such thing then expect things would be slowed up. Talking about scaling issues and slow transactions, its normal but once upgrades being implemented then expect what would be the next move.
956  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-18]Early Bitcoin Developer Jeff Garzik Launches New Altcoin ‘Metronome’ on: June 18, 2018, 09:10:29 PM
I'm glad Garzik has things like this to distract him from creating drama in the Bitcoin community.

Unlike most initial coin offerings (ICOs), metronome is being distributed through a descending price auction, meaning that the crowdsale price decreases over time until no more tokens are remaining. Developers argue that this will reduce FOMO-driven buying and help with price discovery.

How would that help with price discovery? People are incentivized to wait as long as possible and buy at the latest possible time, like sniping in an auction. Not sure I see any benefit in this.
I do have the same thinking about the benefit on this one. Its quite rare for seeing a sale which the price do decrease as the duration or depend on the tokens sold take place.Yes, it is different but this thing wont really be enough to be considered revolutionary or entirely different from most project in the market. I havent checked out on coins specs or feature (maybe this end of the day). First impressions? When i do encounter early adopter of bitcoin sometimes it comes to my mind that it would be similar on what Ver had been done. LOL!
957  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Narrowing the Portfolio on: June 18, 2018, 08:41:26 PM
So i can take the message from above to be real diversification means not everything in a portfolio should be crypto.

Next question should be if i want to add some Gold to a portfolio can I get it by exchanging crypto for it rather than using fiat?
You would still need fiat for you to buy up Gold to add into your asset. Suggestion above about this diversification is brilliant rather than on focusing yourself into some various numbers of Cryptos. Gold, stocks would be a good option anytime but when it comes to price movements then expect it wont really be same as fast with crypto but you can really be assured on the security when it comes to long term gains but still risk would always be included on the game.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins kept in exchange, are they safe? on: June 18, 2018, 08:17:02 PM
I feel keeping our coins in exchanges, mininize the risk of loosing our coins to wallet hackers.
That feeling of yours is completely not right. We might see that exchangers is being commonly used up by traders to store up funds but its being advised for how many times on this forum that keeping big amounts on exchange wallet is not really a good thing or habit to be done. Only store out amounts which are needed for you to trade up.
If you are familiar or do know the recent history of hacked exchangers then you will surely changed up your mind.

I think binance has the best defense, I keep my money there and do not worry about them
Theres nothing on online world which security cant really be breached out no matter how good it is.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices always going down, is investor confidence finally breaking? on: June 15, 2018, 08:00:33 PM

Bearish trends have been dominating the market since mid-Jan. Is what we are seeing a sign of investor confidence finally breaking?
I was analyzing the Bitcoin's long term chart and was looking at the price trend. December was the highly bullish period for the market with Bitcoin touching the ATH of $20k. There have been recent reports telling that those December's price trend was highly manipulated and hence, was inorganic. Thus, such a correction was anyway expected of the market. But the thing to notice here is that before December, price was increasing organically where it was hovering over $6k-$7k levels. Price is corrected back to that level and it isn't going to break down than this.

Investors aren't losing interest but an inorganic pump has been corrected!
The question is; "We would still able to reach out that price similar on last years ATH basing on the current price of bitcoin now?". I believe most people do have the same questions on mind.Going below 5k price is still possible but basing on technicals there do lots of strong support on that area which we can really say breaking out those ranges would be nearly not possible. Trust and confidence is still there.
960  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why Ban Cryptocurrency with Zero Research or Consultation? on: June 14, 2018, 03:19:06 PM
It's possible they don't have the resources for research and have deemed that it would be more beneficial to simply not deal with it. This way, they minimize the potential harm (in their minds at least), and keep collateral damage to a minimum because not many people use crypto anyway. It's an incredibly irresponsible move for sure because governments at least have to do their due diligence.

I'm guessing most other countries that have banned it haven't done much research either. They likely got caught up in the ponzi and bubble talk. It's sad, but I believe they'll come around once crypto's utility fully establishes itself.
There would really be a possible re-consideration or change of decision into the future and i agree on what you had said which for most countries who banned crypto didnt research thoroughly on it and just being cuaght up with the hype and negative news on it thats why they do made such decision without even thinking on whats on the possible benefits of it into their vicinity.
