941  Economy / Gambling / Re: We've Relaunched: Bitcoin Risk-Free (Arbitrage) Betting Signals - 30%+/Month! on: February 08, 2017, 10:11:47 AM

We'll keep this short and clear.

We offer a service that shows you opportunities to make risk-free profit sports betting on bitcoin betting sites.

This is commonly referred to as: 'Sure Bets' or 'Arbitrage Bets'

An example of how it works:

Assume a two-way game with no draw for simplicity's sake.

-  Cloudbet: Team A @ 3
- NitrogenSports: Team B @ 3

Let's imagine you had $100 to invest.

Consider these two possible outcomes if you placed $50 on each event.

Outcome 1: $50*3 = $150

Outcome 2: $50*3 = $150

Either way you're making a risk free profit.

There are an average of 40-60 opportunities such as this a day, for a profit of around 5% on average!

Here are some videos which show how the opportunities are displayed:

Video 1

Video 2

For more information, go to our site: satoshisignals.com

As I understand your tactics of betting is to bet on two outcomes and, despite the winner of the game, we'll stay in profit? It means that we are giving you Bitcoins, you make arbitrage betting and divide profits according to the investments?

The method of Sure Bet is to buy the two outcomes in different sportbookers, then it will be profit whatever the game's result is.

So basically is you join their site with the monthly cost, then they will provide you which game and which sportbooker to buy.
(Please correct me if I am wrong...)

Yes, that's correct!

Please see this video for example: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByjTc8BU-XcLckVwd1hQRUZ4VGs/view?usp=sharing

We will show opportunities to make risk-free bets in a html file which auto-updates.

Thank you, now it is clear. Looks like a good method to make additional passive income. I'll give a try to test it as I do not have enough time to find sure-bets myself.

Please, can anyone post referral link on sites to earn passive income here?

Have you tried to create a youtube channel and post your videos there? It gives you an opportunity to advertise your projects and earn money not only from referrals but also from adsense as it is compatible with youtube. Also you can earn passive income from twitter and instagram if you have enough followers. It takes time but you can earn from it.

Lykke (Switzerland)

Swiss startup Lykke is building a marketplace that uses blockchain technology to offer immediate settlement and direct ownership.

The company’s mission is to create a single global marketplace where any sort of financial instrument can be traded and settled peer-to-peer with second-by-second interest payments.

Lykke was founded by Richard Olsen, co-founder and former CEO of OANDA, a leading foreign exchange company.

Great news for Lykke to be on the list of Top 10 Fintech Startups in DACH. I have some shares of Lykke and I think that it is reasonable to get more. My goal is to acquire 1% of company shares this year Smiley
945  Other / Off-topic / Re: Learning a new language on: February 07, 2017, 02:39:58 PM
I would like to learn some Scandinavian language, but there are no training course for those in my country, at least there is none in my city.
Since I can only do that by myself I have chosen Finnish as it seams most easy for me. I have use some applications with word games, but I cant remember the names of those, since that was long time ago, lately I don`t have much time to get into it. Now I am only left with music and movies, so I watch Finnish movies every time I got chance for it. And since I like metal music, there is a lot of Finnish bands to listen.

I think that Finnish is one of the most difficult to learn of Scandinavian languages but if you know one Scandinavian language, it is much easier to learn the rest. The process of learning requires patience, discipline and time. Also some philological abilities  Smiley
946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: February 07, 2017, 02:24:52 PM
I expect big movement of Waves price in 2018 and not this year. We haven't seen any huge pumps last year, so why we should expect it in 2017? There are still no reasons for that. But one year of development and adoption could push price upwards slowly. It is much better than to see huge pumps and bloody dumps.
947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Using Banks, Paypal And Credit Cards! Let's Integrate Bitcoin Everywhere! on: February 07, 2017, 10:22:08 AM
Paying for goods and services with PayPal is free and instant. How can Btcoin beat that guys?

It can't because Bitcoin is not competitor to the traditional payment system and I cannot imagine that we can use BTC for everyday transactions. In developed coutries we have all access to banking and financial services. Transactions are instant with 0 fees. I'm paying with my mobile app and it is very secure. But many unbanked people are in need of BTC until they have no other choice.
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Using Banks, Paypal And Credit Cards! Let's Integrate Bitcoin Everywhere! on: February 07, 2017, 10:13:05 AM
Actually, the author of the thread is biased towards banking system. Many young people hate banks but we can't still live without it. If one or two world major banks crashes, it means that we are back in 2008. Crisis will disrupt many countries and we'll see more poor people. Bitcoin is not about disruption, in my opinion. It is about choice. With BTC you have choice and freedom.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: February 07, 2017, 09:56:58 AM
I don't understand what is the purpose of ICN token and why it was necessary to run a Fund Management Platform. Isn't enough to use Bitcoin and pay dividens to the participants of the project? I may be wrong but in my opinion the real goal of Iconomi project is to get as more Bitcoins as possible and leave investors with useless tokens.

did you read the whitepaper?

Yes, I did and checked it again. Still, I don't understand why you need to create a new token to run a fund management platform if you have Bitcoin, Ethereum and other coins you can build your platform onto.

They're shares. It is as simple as that. When you own a certain percentage of tokens, you own an equivalent percentage of the Iconomi company.

From the whitepaper:

Quote
ICONOMI will issue 100 milion ICONOMI tokens (ICN) 10 days after the crowdfunding campaign successfully ends. 100 % of the ICONOMI tokens represent 100 % ownership of the ICONOMI platform, comprising of all assets and liabilities, as well as each and every right and obligation, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, branding and trademarks.

Yes, now it is more clear. So, ICN represents traditional old school economy shares but the difference is that their platform is on blockchain? Similar approach is by Lykke. If you buy Lykke tokens you also get company shares.
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation Time is now not a problem at local shops. Buy without any wait on: February 07, 2017, 09:41:52 AM
Bitcoin is created to destroy any Internet money's that make a dominate for Internet payment transactions with high fee, many rules, requiring identity, bank account, long time, and any others rule.
Bitcoin is simple, cheap, instant, and easy. If sending bitcoin to an address need more than an hour, it is not an instant payment.

Bitcoin is not cheap if we are talking about local transactions. For example, I can pay any merchant in my city for his services or products with 0 fees. Why do I need Bitcoin if I'm using instant payments method with 0 fees? Another thing if we are considering international transactions. Bitcoin is considerably cheap but also it depends where do I want to transfer. In EU I pay 0.12-1 EUR per transaction. So, it is also cheap. Payment to USA is about 3 EUR. Also not very expansive. What we are left? Speed. Bitcoin transactions arrive the same day. But recipient needs to cash out from BTC to his local fiat currency. It is very disturbing. Cashing out Bitcoins also means fees, volatility etc. It means if I sent 1000 USD to Ben in New York he, actually, gets less. That is not business model for digital cash. I see the only niche for Bitcoin - banking for undocumented and unbanked. Because in developed countries we have all access to financial system and I still can use the most secure and anonymous transactions with cash.

In gaming industry FirstBlood is one of the most interesting projects to track. I have a small position of 1ST and I'm sure it will go up in value. I expect it to double its marketcap to $14 million very soon. Current price is really undervalued.

954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Dot-com bubble and cryptocurrency bubble on: February 06, 2017, 02:42:39 PM
There are many parallels between the famous .com bubble and cryptocurrency space. Some authors and experts point to this example trying to explain what will happen with cryptocurrencies in the future. If you take into account cryptocurrencies seriously, you'll see that bunch of altcoins are useless projects but on the other hand some are showing signs of future growth and real utility cases.

Quote
What is .com bubble?

The dot-com bubble (also known as the dot-com boom, the tech bubble, the Internet bubble, the dot-com collapse, and the information technology bubble) was a historic speculative bubble covering roughly 1995–2001 during which stock markets in industrialized nations saw their equity value rise rapidly from growth in the Internet sector and related fields. While the latter part was a boom and bust cycle, the Internet boom is sometimes meant to refer to the steady commercial growth of the Internet with the advent of the World Wide Web, as exemplified by the first release of the Mosaic web browser in 1993, and continuing through the 1990s.

The period was marked by the founding (and, in many cases, spectacular failure) of several new Internet-based companies commonly referred to as dot-coms. Companies could cause their stock prices to increase by simply adding an "e-" prefix to their name or a ".com" suffix, which one author called "prefix investing."  A combination of rapidly increasing stock prices, market confidence that the companies would turn future profits, individual speculation in stocks, and widely available venture capital created an environment in which many investors were willing to overlook traditional metrics, such as P/E ratio, in favor of basing confidence on technological advancements. By the end of the 1990s, the NASDAQ hit a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 200, a truly astonishing plateau that dwarfed Japan's peak P/E ratio of 80 a decade earlier.

The collapse of the bubble took place during 1999–2001. Some companies, such as pets.com and Webvan, failed completely. Others – such as Cisco, whose stock declined by 86% – lost a large portion of their market capitalization but remained stable and profitable. Some, such as eBay.com, later recovered and even surpassed their dot-com-bubble peaks. The stock of Amazon.com came to exceed $700 per share, for example, after having gone from $107 to $7 in the crash.
I don't not completely agree that we'll see the similar pattern in crypto space. Actually, I'm optimistic towards the survival of some altcoin projects. However, it is clear that in the future most of the projects will disappear. The prospects and future of blockchain is also obscure. There are many problems around Bitcoin as well: governance issues, centralization, power consuming and nature unfriendly mining, miners and developers debate, marketing, adoption, fees etc. If these problems remain unresolved, I'm sure that we'll see another coin to take crown from BTC. But it is just my opinion.

What do you think about .com bubble parallels with cryptocurrencies?

Luckily I have bought some cheap Magi coins as I see a lot of room for future growth. The market cap of Magi is rising steady, so we can expect this tendency to continue this year. I also see that Magi has strong community to support the project. It is very important an I like it.
956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: February 06, 2017, 01:27:33 PM
Factom coming to Jaxx now.. exciting times.

https://twitter.com/diiorioanthony/status/828431469894836224

Jaxx is very slow wallet I don't use it and don't understand why people so like it?
Regarding the news and activity in Factom project I will summarize this way: it is better to don't have any news than to noise fake news with stupid marketing strategy. In other words - you should talk only when you want to announce some important things and keep your mouth closed when you have nothing substantial to add. If no, it is only hype foolish and misleading marketing.
957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 06, 2017, 12:56:02 PM
In my opinion it is a great paradox when you come into comparison of Bitcoin and banks (or banking system). I have studied financial history and, especially, history of banking. Everytime the new technology was underway and posed some threat to the banks it was smoothly absorbed and integrated by major banks to benefit from it. What I think will hapen in the future. Banks will absorb and integrate the whole benefits of blockchain technology or any other technological innovations coming from the cryptocurrency world. Banks have enough political and financial strength to do that. They will increase their incomes dramatically in the future thanks to the blockchain and align technologies.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [GBYTE] Byteball Speculation on: February 06, 2017, 11:37:57 AM
I've not followed the Byteball price for a while and I couldn't believe my eyes when I was seeing the price today. $50+ is incredible.
I am very sad I sold half of my stake at $11  Undecided Still have the other half and very happy about it. I hope the new distribution mid of Feb will not let crash the price.
You must realize of a lot of the stock of byte has held by the big companies such as ICONOMI and other. And it will get sleep in their cold storage, and it's mean the distribution are very less. And it will increase soon.

Yes this is one reason, but i knew a lot of people who are holding their GBYTE also, this make the coin circulation very limited.

I think that this project can be so big like etheurum.
This mean a 1 billion marketcap (when we reach this than 1 GBYTE would cost 10.000 Dollar),
because a lot of big companys are in this coin.

I absolutely agree with you. Byteball is heading towards top 10 in marketcap this year. It is revolutionary technology that makes transactions anonymous and secure without using blockchain technology. It is not power consuming as Bitcoin and most of the altcoins are. So, surely, we should expect increase in price and climbing up on the market cap list.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !! BEST ALTCOIN !! on: February 06, 2017, 11:04:00 AM
Komodo has a lot of potential

Why it has a lot of potential? We have a huge concentration of anonymous coins considering the demand. I think that 2017 is not very good for anonymous coins to grow significantly. Monero have done its run already and I do not expect huge surge in price.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !! BEST ALTCOIN !! on: February 06, 2017, 10:55:31 AM
Why MAID is not in the poll list? It is doing great and I think this year could be very successful for MaidSafe team and investors. Anyway, it is only February, BTC price is on bull trend and most of the altcoins depending on BTC moves. It is very difficult to predict altcoin markets for 2017. But I have a few picks considering market cap and current price - Stratis and Maid.
