edit: Who the F' cares if its a meme. Smiley ... It's being traded. That is good enough for me.  Cool  Cool

as it has been for past 7 years

I just looked at the charts for that thing. Mathematically on some trading, it is sound. I guess if I would invest in it, I would do just when there is like some sort of 'emotional pump' that people buy into the hype and they might involve some time & money for the 'seasonality' of it. Smiley

Many of us have figured out various strategies in regards to bitcoin in which we do not consider what we are doing to be gambling, but instead investing.

Also... "various strategies" ... Cheesy Cheesy ... Good one! Smiley ... Holding is not enough, we all need to gamble from time to time with small amounts. But, no leverage, I don't agree with that kind of gambling. But learning how to trade plain and boring 1:1 ratio is a good gambling practice. Smiley  Roll Eyes

My main issue with DOGE right now is that the code is outdated, there are no active developers around and it's easy to pump - like we are seeing right now. The problem with this is the "what if" - what if someone takes this old and outdated code and breaks it, being able to print out a trillion DOGE and dump it all on market before anyone realizes? Scary shit. Stay safe and good luck!

Probably that would trigger an "event", that will make all exchanges to... or at least the more 'serious' ones, to actually put new accounts or huge amounts on a 'standby' or being benched for some time.  Roll Eyes

Whoever would do something like this would probably not just make a single or a handful of trades.. And without active developers - who's out there to warn the public? Especially when we're in a time where if you google "Dogecoin" you'll get reddit posts/facebook posts/twitter threads screaming "BUY DOGE, THIS BITCH GOING TO $1".. It's a dangerous time is all, just don't want to see people put in too much and lose out (and yes, even if you buy in "just for the memes bro", you keep pushing the narrative and might get people who are not as informed to invest more than they can afford to lose).

Surely we'd rather want people in bitcoin than some shitcoins where they might lose their ass which in turn leaves a sour taste of ALL crypto.

Grandma gambles on slot machines. And some will gamble on fairy-tale-make-belief virtual nonsense. Its all fine. Keep gambling ! Cheesy Cheesy

‘They’re the Wall Observers, they’ve been in BTC for years’

We're poor now.

Guys, guise, guys!   One of the girls in this pic had barely turned 15 when this movie was released which means she was likely 14 when these promo pictures were taken.  Put your bitcoin back in your pocket and keep your stick on the ice!

They are "Mean Girls", pizza-gate would have them anyway they would please or not! Cheesy Cheesy

Naahh different movie: Aquamarine.
Don't ask me why I know that, please.

Yep... wanted to correct myself after I wrote : "Emma Roberts + Jojo meme movie" on google... Tongue

I think it will go past that in the next 4 hours. But I'm hopping it will get a pullback to 37k - 38k for the crypto Gods to favor me in the poll.  Cool  Cool

Good luck with that prediction.  Hopefully you have not made any margin trades in the direction of those ideas.

Not rly. I don't do margin. That is a zoomers game. I like plain old boring trades. But I keep most of my stuff in storage. I keep a bit on the side parked on the exchange and I play a bit in Altcoin-Sh!tlandia, in some of them its a sh!tstorm with this mini-pump. Did like 20% BTC today from like 4 trades in DGB vs BTC.  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

Edit:
!!! I do not advice investing in sh!tcoins. Tongue ... Any that does, can and will lose money. Tongue Tongue ... And the one that I said, it was just an example. ( I just have a preference for those that are under 100 sats, they give better percentages. Smiley )

Breakout imminent? Tongue Cheesy ...  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

Soon.

My SOMA says we will see some action within 3-4 days.

(Disregard the arrows, that's just me tracking the EMA 21/55  Cheesy)

Those arrows are too upsetting. !!! Tongue

Price going up as scheduled.  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

Even a pump to $43k would still put us back within the main channel.  Up up and away!

Seems a wee bit optimistic to get a pump (now) that would push us through to an another ATH.

Of course, we cannot rule out anything in bitcoinlandia, but still seems a bit too bullish given our BTC price corrections (and perhaps consolidations) of the past few weeks.

I'm still regretting my 37K - 38K price prediction for 31 January price close. Smiley  Roll Eyes

edit: I was bearish. Sad

Regret all that you like, STRF.... we still have three more days.. Lot's can happen in 3 days including NOT getting to $37k or $38k...

I think it will go past that in the next 4 hours. But I'm hopping it will get a pullback to 37k - 38k for the crypto Gods to favor me in the poll.  Cool  Cool

Hello WO,

I have a general question to WO‘s who are located in Germany. It would may sound a bit silly.. so. It is regarding income tax „Einkommensteuer“ if I hold the BTC a year time frame unsold i should not pay any tax to revenue office (Finanzamt).
So, I bought the BTC last year in October on a Platform and transferred it onto my ledger in this month. My question is, when the countdown starts to avoid from paying any income tax? From October/2020 or January 2021?

I really appreciate your help!

Many thanks  Smiley

October. You just moved it, so there was no subsequent trade.
Do you know the german variant of WO?

Why bother with Germany when u can have your own villa in a tropical country with u'r own private army of 'cartel bois' ?? Cheesy Cheesy

edit: But I would put my money more on cities with walls that will have many bitcoin slave masters owning everything and controlling the inner walls.
