~snip~ Vijay Shankar has proved that he is a great batsman down the order, but he needs to play more carefully in order to register 50s or 100s in the future. Felt great to see SRH win with an over to spare.
Their batting lineup is pretty damn good as expected, but they seriously need to focus on improving their bowling and fielding.
You are right SRH needs to focus on their bowling line-up. So far in both matches they showed less than average performance. Only Rashid was different and rest was very average.

|
~snip~ They weren't able to restrict them to 250 but they are batting very well. They need 98 off 92 with two set batsmen. I am sure they are gonna will this one. FINALLY.
Yh finally they are showing some potential. The debutante Abid Ali played really well cricket. I head they are considering him for the World cup. By the way, I am losing my bet :-P

Great showdown for SRH. Warner and Bairstow built the foundation especially hits from Warner, Then Shankar fire and at the end Pathan and Rashid Khan finished it nicely.
Good to see the win for SRH.

~snip~ I placed bet on 1.8 and now it turned into 1.93, I think it's good to go now.
I picked two. One @ 2.50 and Another @ 2.07 Very happy with the odd. Now it's time to wait and see if SRH wins the match. It will be a tough match.

|
~snip~ I'm having 1.58 now for SRH which seems doesn't worth the risk. I would bet if the odd was above 1.70 for SRH. SRH bowlers are doing fine today and it seems score will be below 150 runs.
For me I am looking for an odd around 2.00. May be I will go if it's over 1.90 too however seems like it very patience game LOL The way SRH is playing, it's hard to get it. We need to wait :-) I missed to bet on Australia too because of the bad odd. Now it's 1.29 there LOL

SRH bowlers are best
Bhuvi looking very good so far!! a nice contest between him and Butler. Rashid Khan took bowls in his hands. now Rashid vs Butler. and Rashid khan won the battle. Butlet bowled! His leg stump gone! Rashid got his first wicket of the match. Now another chance was there. Warner just missed it for Sanju Samson. It was tough to reach though.

I noticed that this season teams and players are under a lot of pressure, it can be due to the franchise's expectation and because of the ridiculous amount of money poured in the game. the only team playing for fun is CSK.
Some players are already in the pressure, for Ex : KL Rahul, Ambati Raydu, Smith, Warner because they are fighting for World cup ticket.
I think you are right. Not sure about Smith and Warner but it's true for KL Rahul and Raydu. Anyway, SRH will be chasing. I hope they chase well whatever RR scores. This match will be another entertainment I can feel that. :-) ~snip~ Anyone betting in today's match? I am still thinking for SRH to pick.
I made up my mind however not placed any bet yet. Just waiting for a better odd.

Can you blame Kohli? He has every right to be angry because of a bad decision by the umpire (Ravi) who is part of the elite team of umpires.
That single decision could have reversed the game in RCBs favor which is why I can sympathize with Kohli. Bad luck for RCB and good luck for MI at the end of the day.
Although you have not ask me the question but if you would have asked then I would say that, I would not blame Kohli. It's the human emotion like KP said in the interview. We can not take that away. He had reasons to be angry but it's the rules. When it's done then it's done. Let's forget about it and move forward. There are a lot of excitements are still due in this IPL Cheers :-)

I agree here, Hhampuz should find his place here. He is in charge of half a dozen campaigns as far as I´ve noticed and quite some mature users from the German boards just joined one of his campaigns this week, and they (the users) are pretty strict when deciding for a campaign/manager. Probably a good sign speaking for him.
He is already there. Somehow you missed him there. Check the third from the bottom :-)

~snip~ Lol everyone keep posting here about IPL Yh they do :-P By the way, what do you think about the Pakistan vs Australia Match. Australia is looking to build up the innings every time but then they lose wicket. So far, Pakistan done well today. If they can restrict Australia in 250 runs then game on for them. Without Malik team is better I think :-)

This is interesting :-) "2 Australians paid the price for crossing the proverbial 'line'. Now the banned duo has returned & there have been 3 instances of people crossing he line - Buttler when he got Mankaded, a Punjab fielder when he triggered a no-ball due to an illegitimate field, and Malinga in the last over yesterday. Ashwin won a game when the opposition player crossed the line, but lost the next game when his player crossed the line. W/ Smith & Warner playing, can RR take advantage of line-crossin karma tonight?" http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/8048/game/1175363/sunrisers-hyderabad-vs-rajasthan-royals-8th-match-indian-premier-league-2019

A controversial win for MI, they won Against top favorite team of IPL RCB.The last ball of Malinga was clearly a no ball but umpire didn’t notice anyhow.RCB captain Virat is furious with the decision of umpire.
~snip~
I think we need to move on. Yes, it was a big mistake by the umpire but MI team has nothing to do with it. Consider the excellence of Bumrah, cleaver bowling of Malinga, economy bowling of Markande, hard hitting of Pandya, smart captaincy of Rohit Sharma. There were a lot of efforts to win the match. Do not dismiss all these great performances just because of a mistake by umpire. What if Yuvraj Singh did not miss the catch of De Villiers, what if Villiers did not hit two sixs and one four from Malinga's over. There were a lot of ifs in a match but everything is the part of the game. I hope I am not sounding MI fans. You can not ignore the fact that MI is not a team depending on one or two team members unlike RCB. Take off De Villiers and Kohli from RCB. The team looks like your local school boys team. Let's move on and focus on the entertainment and sportsmanship.

Guys I don't care about all these controversy however yesterdays one was too bad. The umpires need to be more careful.
Anyway, who will be your pick for today? I think I will go with SRH today (not sure yet by the way). They are my 2nd favourite team.

Guys, Can we continue the IPL discussions on this thread please: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussionFeel free to join the Prediction pool too. It's FREE!!! https://www.superbru.com/ipl/pool.php?p=12014392 :-) Anyway, seems like I will not get a good odd in Australia vs Pakistan match for Australia LOL I was waiting for Australia to start from behind so that I get a good odd. Looking at the odd, it's not good for me. Only 1.34 :-P Australia is doing very well. 56 without no loss after 12 overs. Few wickets please :-P EDIT: And Hasnain got his first ODI wicket. Finch gone.

~snip~
The chase is getting excited as RCB still requires 63 in 32 balls and 7 wickets left. De villers is the man who can take away the game from MI. So most likely if he is on the pitch RCB would win the match unless MI can take couple of quick wickets and make a come back.
De Villers actually doing his job very well. Two six and one four in Malinga's over. I don't think MI have any chance now unless De Villers gone.
|
|
|
Kohli out! MI needs De Villiers now before he becomes dangerous. He can change the equation very quick. Come on Mumbai.
|
|
|
~snip~ True. Once Kohli gets going, it is really tough to stop him. He is seriously the run freaking machine. Markande is the key bowler in my opinion since he has given very few runs and removed Parthiv who looked set. This match is getting really interesting.
It's stressful to me though. Markande was doing well but he had two bad balls and Kohli and De Villiers punished him. They managed 13 runs from his over.
|
|
|
MI puts a high total of 187 on the scoreboard.Everyone has contributed few runs which made 187 runs of total.RCB is trailing now and they are on 60-1.Kohli is looking so good, I think MI should try to out kohli as soon as possible because He can be dangerous and he is the kind of player who can make the difference between two team.I think RCB is gonna chase is comfortably because they have player like ABD, Hetmyer.
They lost another wicket. You are right Kohli's wicket is very important and also De Villiers. RCB has their best batsmen in the pitch. MI needs both of them if they wants to win.
|
|
|
~snip~ RCB played really well towards the end to stop MI from reaching 200, but they could have restricted them to 170 if it wasn't for the dropped catch(Hardik Pandya).
Pandya is driving them closer to 190 at present and is playing very nicely.
The target is 188 now. Pandya did very well at the end. if there were not few miss hits then he could easily take MI to cross 200+ runs. MI needs some quick wickets if they want to win this match. There are some key players for RCB. Kohli De Villiers They can change the equation if they get the chance to set in the pitch however MI has Malinga and Bumrah. It will be a good game to watch.

~snip~
Easily, 3 power hitter Pollard and Pandaya brothers still there. And i believe in Umesh Yadav, if he bowls his last over then easy 12+ runs in his over.
Edit : Pollard out, now 180+ looks tough.
Yh, Karma. The previous ball was not a wide. It touched his pad. He could tell the umpire :-P These guys are hitting the ball to the moon. Edit: Another gone. This does not look good.
